I recently visited Waldschänke Ciders & Coffee in Denver and had a generally positive experience. Here’s a breakdown.
What I liked:
The coffee was good — I’d give it a 4 out of 5.
The food was tasty and well done; the European-inspired kitchen hits the mark with a cozy vibe and thoughtful flavors.
The space is welcoming and relaxed, true to their “simple, honest, full of heart” philosophy.
Location: comfortable setting, easy to make yourself at home.
What could be improved:
I love dogs and appreciate pet-friendly businesses, but I noticed dogs being brought inside the café. Because this is a food & drink service area, this is a health-code issue.
To preserve the great quality and friendly atmosphere, it might be wise for the business to clarify or enforce a policy about pets in the indoor seating area.
Overall
I will definitely be back — it’s a solid spot for coffee, food, and a laid-back time. With a small improvement in clarity around their pet policy, Waldschänke could enhance the comfort and safety of all guests.
