My husband and I visited Walk-On’s today and had the best experience. Our server, Janei, was so kind and really helped us pick the perfect dishes. The food was AMAZING ... we literally left nothing on our plates. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We will definitely be returning! Great service and great food. ❤️🍤🍗✨

Had a spectacular first visit at Walk-On's. I was invited to happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed myself. First, our server Gator is the best! Love his energy and his attention to detail. The happy hour menu is priced right with $5 eats. The sliders and cheese waffle fries are quite tasty. I also had a moonshine margarita which was divine! I highly recommend to everyone who likes moonshine. It is a sports bar and it can get loud. There were a few patrons on the rowdy side. It became extremely loud and hard to hear my friends at the table. Overall, a great visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trey J at the Arlington location was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor from the perfectly cooked steak to the creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli topped with Parmesan and a touch of steak butter (absolute heaven!). Great wait, great food, and outstanding customer service. Trey handled every request with a smile it’s rare to see someone provide excellent service the entire visit and truly enjoy what they do. Thank you, Trey J, for your amazing service today! Because of you, my family and I will definitely be back to try more of your menu highlights. You truly put Walk-On’s on the map! 👏🔥

The food was ok. My salad barely had any toppings. Gumbo was too salty. Louisiana plate was pretty good. Not busy at all during Sunday lunch. Don’t be fooled by all the 5 stars reviews. We asked for the check, and was told there was a “corporate situation” where we had to leave a review to receive the bill. I couldn’t believe it, so I repeated, “we have to leave a review just to get the bill???” The answer was yes. Our bill was being held hostage. We were stunned as our waiter told us we’d “get points for reviewing” (not restaurant points btw, these are Google points) and pressured us to scan the QR code and stood there watching to make sure we had put 5 stars on everything. When he saw I was hesitant to do so, he said just one of us could do the review to get the bill. This is unbelievable business practice and extremely uncomfortable. For this reason alone, I cannot recommend this establishment and will not be returning.

Was my first time here but the food was good and our server Mike was wonderful!

Came here on a weekend, on a game day - I was surprised it wasn't as busy! Really good place to be for sports, TVs everywhere for any game that's on. There's not a bad seat in the house, where you can't see what's going in so definitely a plus. Food was okay. They hit the mark on their appetizers! We all enjoyed the waffle cheese fries, mozzarella logs, & boudin balls. My friends had the lemon butter chicken, both said the flavor was good but that the chicken was a bit dry, they did enjoy the cheese corn grits. Pasta alfredeaux, my friend thought it could use more seasoning. I had the cajundilla, it's a heavy entree. There's a lot of flavors in there but they needed more than just onions to bring some freshness to it. I did enjoy the red beans & rice that they came with. Seemed like the sides were better than the main part of each entrée. Cleanliness 4/5, nothing is ever going to be perfect but the restroom needed more attention than what it had been given & our seats where kinda "eh" upon being seated. Staff & service, 5/5. Excellent! Shantiva was our waitress. She was attentive, polite, patient, & was knowledgeable about the menu. Great personality! Really any staff member we interacted with was super nice including the hostess & the servers that helped being our food out. Easy to pay by QR code, very convenient. Prices are fair, with lots to choose from on the menu. Overall a good experience!

Our server Gator/Ronnie was the best. Very attentive to us and our kids needs. Very welcoming. We even got to know him on a personal level. Very down to earth guy. Made our experience great. We were in town for a cheer competition. The music and atmosphere were fantastic. We definitely enjoyed it because of him. We look forward to dining in the future.

Was the worst service I ever experienced going into a restaurant in a long time. The waiter never came back to our table until we flagged him down several times just to get a refill on drinks and the food was even worse, I even tipped him well over what the percentage was for that horrible service.. I spent $89 on some garbage food and service . Furthermore the rap music was blasting so loud i couldn't hear myself think or hear anything my wife was saying without screaming

We would love to keep coming back here but the service is trash every time! We were here watching the lions commanders game and it was NOT that busy but our server kept having 10 minute conversations with people. We had to ask her for a refill and then wait 15 minutes for her to bring it. Then we placed our order and about 10 minutes later she comes back to tell us the screen didn't save it so the kitchen didn't get it. We just cancelled our order and asked for the ticket. Then to top it all off there was only 3 of us-we asked for 2 tickets, She charged us for both tickets

Similar food options to Razoo's, with more sports pub options (burgers, etc). I had the fried gator and side of cheese fries. It was good, fries could have used more cheese...it was more like waffle fries with a little bit of cheese melted on them, not what you'd expect for CHEESE fries, cover them up with cheese! Gator was good, nothing amazing. Dipping sauces were just ok. Others in my party said their food was good. They had lemon chicken, burger slides, a chicken club, and pasta. What was pretty impressive was the service and how quickly the food was delivered for a group of 8-10 people. Nothing was incorrect and our server kept our drinks filled and was attentive throughout. I don't live close to this spot, but I'd definitely come back if we are out this way again.

Love the food and it is a lively atmosphere. There is always some form of sports playing. Service is generally good. The drinks are not very strong.

The Ambiance: I've visited various Walk-On's before; the location determined the experience and quality of food. We are in Arlington for a mini vacay and decided to stop by. Walking in everyone was friendly and our waiter Trey was supper helpful in helping us choose different items. My Order: Fried Pickles: The fried pickles looked amazing when we received them. They were well seasoned and very enjoyable as a shareable. Lemon Butter Chicken, sub grits for mashed potatoes : I am glad I went with this recommendation and the advice to sub for mashed potatoes. The Arlington location lemon butter chicken is way better than the Houston location. The flavors are there and not over powering; you can tell they took their time with the sauce. The mashed potatoes were simple and perfect, balancing the dish. 10/10 Chicken Berry Pecan Salad: my husband ordered the salad, he says it's EVERYTHING IN A WEDDING RING . Straight fire . he has never had a raspberry vinaigrette before and loved it. The candied pecans were amazing & the chicken was very well seasoned and portioned properly. He'd drive 40 minutes across town for this dish, easy! Service: Customer service was stellar and helpful. Trey is the reason we ordered what we did as we were unsure because of past experiences elsewhere. Payment: Payment is quick and easy. Overall experience I'd recommend this to anyone in the area or visiting.

Hagen is such a great bartender! She's so attentive even when it's busy. My food came out fast, the spinach dip and cheese fries are my favorite!

My BFF and I hung out here while waiting to go to the comedy club nearby. We sat at the bar, had a drink, and ordered appetizers. She had wings, half lemon pepper and half buffalo. I had the mozzarella logs which are very large cheese sticks. The apps were good. The vibe was nice and the bar tenders were very attentive.

I ordered food to go. Specifically, a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo and a side salad. I drove to pick up the food. To my surprise, I was given a cup. Paid $12 for this "bowl" that wasn't even full at that. Don't order to go from here because they will short you.

The food was great, but they had a long wait time and there were lots of people. But overall I did like it.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had traveling !! We were there for hour and half and got one beer. No water. Food was ok but service was terrible. No help and no one seemed to care. DO NOT go unless you enjoy sitting with nothing to drink

I was in this restaurant on January 3rd which I will say I enjoyed, until the next day I see I was charged twice. My meal was $87.11. I had one charge for $87.11 and another charge for $97.11 so I called the restaurant twice and spoke with the GM. She said she would contact Helpdesk and call me back but never did. I called back on Sunday January 5th and to my surprise she was not there but I had a great conversation with the kitchen manager who seemed to actually care about what happened. The GM has displayed poor leadership and doesn't care about customer concerns or service. I'm not asking for something free I want my money back or I will take legal actions.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The vibe was chill for a Friday night. The burgers were cooked and seasoned well with large portions. The chili wings were delicious and also cooked just right. However, star of the evening was definitely Fred, our server. He was very engaging and ensured that he checked on us frequently during the visit. He was refreshing at a time when good customer service is hard to find,

Don't order catfish from there. It was so gross. My husband ordered a hamburger and that was good.

I do love this place. I wish they'd marinate the wings. They always seem dry if you compare with the dedicated wing shops. But if you like football you can't go wrong here. 3 or 4 games at the same time.

If you do not like the busy "weekendy" atmosphere I recommend going on a weekday! It's super chill and the bar TV's are not too loud. We ordered mozzarella logs, Louisiana platter, and beignets. All in all, 9/10 on the food and 10/10 for the service. The main server was training a new worker which we did not mind at all and both are super sweet and attentive to my boyfriend and I. Mozzarella logs 10/10 - it is my boyfriend's 2nd time trying them and 1st time for me and they are huge! Came out hot, fresh, not oily and the cheese pull was immaculate I'd say. Paired it with their marinara sauce and it does not disappoint if you like mozzarella sticks. Louisiana combo 8.5/10 - consisted of crawfish étouffée, fried catfish, fried shrimp, hush puppies, and waffle fries. The étouffée is seasoned well with a little bed of white rice. Fried catfish was crunchy on the outside, soft on inside but a tiny bit of a fishy flavor. Fried shrimp was sweet and juicy, no complaints. Hush puppies were good but on the sweeter side for me. Waffle fries are hot and crispy. Beignets 10/10 - definitely came here mainly for the beignets if we're gonna be honest! PLEASE order these. The beignets are the best to finish off your meal. I haven't found any where else that is nearly as good as these if I can't go to NOLA for them.

We had a great time at this restaurant!! It was a late night Valentines dinner for four of us!! We sat down right away and ordered an appetizer because we were starving after a long day. We were very lucky to get the best sever in the house that night "Rose".. She took care of us from the start and even placed and glass of water on the table with a rose in it !! She was the only person doin this ! We all enjoyed our food and we had a great time together; we'll be back for more and ask for Rose !!

I can't speak for the location or atmosphere because I ordered Uber Eats and now I feel obligated to dine in because I loved the food so much! I ordered the lemon butter chicken and the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. Everything was delicious!!! My entree was a rather large plate so come hungry because after dessert I was super full but I really wanted to try the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. I would recommend this menu and will update my review after I've dined in!

This is really a 3.5 star review. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really love it. We went on a Monday night and there was no crowd at all. It seemed like they were seating everyone in the bar. We sat at a low table in the bar area. Service was good and the food was pretty good, but I just didn't get the wow factor that I was looking for. I'd probably try again if it was game night.

The food and services is ridiculous and nasty I will never come here again. The TV's barely work and the drinks are watered down

Been wanting To come here forever. Finally got it come tonight and clean beautiful place. The menu is awesome. I miss Louisiana food. I don't get it since we moved from Louisiana. The Louisiana combo was absolutely amazing. The best part of all was the crawfish etouffee. It was so delish and very flavorful. The voodoo Shrimp and grits are very flavorful as well. The grits are the best I've tasted. Now the boudin balls are amazing and a must have when going there. Then to top it off for dessert We had Krispy Kreme bread pudding..

My hubby and I went here on a Friday night at about 7pm, and we're seated in the bar area. It was fairly busy, and it looked like our waitress might have had the whole bar section to herself. Still, she was very attentive and our food and drinks came out quickly. We shared the Catfish Po'boy and the Boom Boom shrimp tacos. Pros: Very large selection of beer on draft. We were initially disappointed in the beer selection when we first looked at the menu but it doesn't include even half of what they actually have. The beignets were AMAZING! Hot, flaky and crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside just like beignets should be! They were by FAR the best part of the meal. Cons: The po'boy had very little meat in it. What was there was tasty, but I think I wasted almost half of my half of the sandwich pulling off excess bread. The tacos were decent. Nothing to write home about but not bad, either. The tortillas were a little underdone for my preference. I really like tortillas to be a little crisped or at least browned/charred a bit more. If I were rating just based on our meals I'd give it 3 stars. But the service and the beignets bumped it up to 4. If you're looking for cold beer and decent food while watching a game, give it a shot. Just definitely be sure to get the beignets!

I went to try gator bites and grilled red fish! The food is better than expected as the fried pickles were THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. And the grilled red fish was a first for me but delicious! Great beer and wine selections. The bartender obviously needed a 2nd or 3rd bartender but she held it down and ended up being a rockstar!

They're open late, so that's a plus, but the service is very mid, and the food is decent, but I don't know if it's worth the cost.

First time here and it was just "ok". I had really high hopes for this place but it just did not have that "wooow" factor. However I will say that the waitress was by far the best!!! She was very attentive and just and amazing conversationalist overall. She made the experience 4 stars. Also, they're reasonably priced! Not counting this place out just yet. Im giving a 3 star review because I love this place but my server Gabbi was awful! She is something to be desired! Let's just say we had an "encouter" that left me more than displeased. I've been in customer service for 35 years and she needs to either learn some respect for her elders or find another line of work.

Came here during Corona. The place was almost empty which was nice. Our waitress was very attentive and nice, the restaurant was clean but kinda chilly. The reason for one 3 stars is the food. We got the Bayou Pasta which is a speciality at the restaurant so you would think it would be somewhat good. We sub fried shrimp for grilled shrimp and asked for it to be spicy. We get the food and it looks good but there is no taste. Not only is it not spicy but it doesn't taste like anything, no seasoning, no nothing. I don't know if I will be back to try anything else out. Very disappointed in the food overall. SN: we had the boom boom shrimp as an app, that's was good

Just about all restaurants/stores are short staffed, so upon arrival to a pretty empty restaurant, we were informed the wait time would be 45 minutes. We opted to sit at the bar and this was the best decision for this moment, day. The bartender was absolutely perfect and doing an amazing job. We had a party a 5. I am going to get the name of this particular bartender, he was short, thin, hispanic and hilarious, I am so mad because I asked his name, but I just waited to long to write this review, eventhough it was this past Sunday, April 3rd. Anywho, the food and drinks were great!! I'll update the 3 photos (missingthe other two dishes) with description. But what I don't have a pic of are the appetizers we had, which were the Mozarella Logs, Alligator and BoomBoom Shrimp. Everything came out hot, and was great! I have come to this location a couple times, and I will continue a long as the service and good quality stays the same! #eaton

We stopped by here for an early dinner. I have some food sensitivities so I asked our waiter Monte some questions. He was understanding and went to ask some questions. A few minutes later, Chef James comes out and answers all my questions. He was so kind and accommodating. Very few restaurants are like this anymore. We appreciated it so very much!!

I was surprised at all good the gator wrap was. It was delicious. I asked for the tobasco sauce they put on another wrap to be put on it. I would absolutely go back. Staff was extremely polite and attentive.

Great atmosphere and great food! The crowd consisted of sports fans when I was there and they had multiple games on the tvs. The place was pretty crowded with a long wait time, so that's always a good sign. I decided to sit the bar and grab some food. I ordered alligator bites for my appetizer and they were delicious! They were very tender (not rubbery at all) and came with a good dipping sauce. I also ordered waffle fries with cheese that I barely touched because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. For my entree, I ordered mahi mahi w/ corn grits. That was some of the best Mahi that I've had. The sauce and the grits were great as well. Everything about the dish was delicious. It took a while for my food to come out but it was worth the wait.

I was here when it was something else, whatever it was before, this is way better. Atmosphere is amazing, I went before a cowboys game and it was already filling up with people coming to watch. The food was delicious. Wait staff is attentive and helpful. The food came out super fast. I lived in New Orleans for a year, this was pretty close, the red beans tasted like they were supposed to! I had the quesadillas and I loved them, tasted like the perfect mix of Creole TexMex, if that's a thing. My only suggestion is that this is a New Orleans like bar but they don't have a hurricane like drink on the menu, blasphemous.

I had a beautiful server named Aaliyah she was very sweet attentive and gave great recommendations on entrees 10/10 her service was excellent!!!

7/17/19- went back and had the the worst service. Food was pretty good- I'd say 4/5 this time but the service was terrible. I got there at 5:45 and the hostess sat me and mentioned that happy house was until 6pm. My waitress came a couple minutes later and I ordered two waters right now and I'll look at the menu (one for my guest that I was waiting for) and that I would. 10 minutes later she came back and said "I'm about to get the water for you, but do you want anything else?". Seriously? My guest arrived at 6:02. The same time as the waitress brought me one glass of water even though I ordered 2. We ordered our drinks and food. Our drinks from the bar came after the appetizer and we forgot we ordered them. We were never offered refills, my friend just sat there with an empty glass of wine. We skipped trying the Beignets because the waitress asked if we wanted the just the check or if we needed to go boxes and a check. And we sat for over an hour with dirty plates in front of us while we talked. She came back to our table to see if she could grab the signed copy of the receipt but never even picked up a dish. Her hands were free to grab some since I held on to the little clipboard until I could figure out what an okay tip was for crummy service. I gave it another try, won't be back this time

Hmm... Had an okay experience today. There are hundreds of flat screen tvs surrounding the dining area. So do not come here on a romantic evening or when your trying to converse with others. Food was okay, not great. My shrimp pasta needed spice or something, seemed very bland. Service was just okay tonight, I felt the waitress could've been more attentive to our table of 3. This location was super busy this evening and the parking lot is shared with Pluckers and Bone Daddys. FYI. I'll be back to give it another try, but perhaps not anytime soon. The best thing I had was the Cajun queso and chips but nothing about it seemed Cajun. Nonetheless, it was delicious queso. Enjoy!

My first time at a Walk-On's was during a visit back home in south Louisiana. Despite the many delicious restaurants in the area, I had to show my love and support to Drew Brees and give it a try. For a chained cajun restaurant, Walk-On's is pretty legit. There are many out there that claim to be "authentic" but growing up on the shores of the Gulf, I can definitely tell the difference between real and imitation Louisiana food. So we visit the new Arlington location. We were greeted several times by smiling girls. They definitely made us feel welcomed. The service was quick. We ordered fried seafood all around. It was fresh and plentiful. The fried catfish was so delicious. No lemon needed. I liked the corn grits as well (because I'm southern). The sweet tea was pretty good as well. I planned on trying the Krispy Kreme bread pudding but we were stuffed. Already, we are planning a trip back. My family back home who eat here regularly recommend the Mardi Gras Mahi, Cajundillas, and Boom Boom shrimp. It is great to have a new restaurant in Arlington, especially one that brings flavor to the area.

Mozzarella logs & catfish is good! Food came out staggered and fast. Waiter was attentive and did a good job for a late night dinner.

My group and I visited on a Saturday night 9/3. For a place that had plenty of tables available, the host and other employees couldn't figure out how to sit a party of five. There were many tables in plain sight available and we were the only ones waiting. When other parties walked in , the hostess was about to seat them and we finally stood up and asked what the delay is. That's when they finally sat us. The service at the table was also less then satisfactory. Basic needs weren't being met from silverware, plates and condiments that went along with our meals. Our drinks had to be requested two times before they finally came out. Fountain drinks, not bar drinks. This was the saddest service I have ever received. Didn't even meet standard expectations. Never again. I reiterate, the place was NOT busy. There were plenty of tables available around the restaurant and even in our section.

Fast, friendly and delicious food! Monte was excellent. He was attentive and friendly. He made sure our order was correct and he was polite. It's hard finding good service these days, but Monte set the bar.. I will be back again.
