Rachel was AMAZING AN HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was impressed with the FOOD BEING HOT ARRIVING AT THE TABLE She checked on us often! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING definitely will COME BACK AGAIN! Alligator was amazing. We got FREE Bread pudding which was Fresh and Hot! The restroom was cleaned as well.

Went here for a birthday party and was greeted by some girl scouts selling some cookies, so we're off to a great start. The staff was very friendly and professional. Our server, Aaliyah was very pleasant and informative. We were seated immediately in a great spot. The food was mediocre. It tasted like it came out of a jar and was simply heated instead of cooked. There were games on every screen, so that was a plus. The restaurant is family friendly. It's probably a great spot to watch sports. I might be back for the appetizers and dessert if I'm watching a game.

Great spot for a late night dinner or appetizers. Lots of screens to watch a game, enjoy the bar or food. This was our first time here and we liked it. We ordered mozarella logs, bonesless wings and shared a burger with my husband. Food came out hot and fresh and tasted great. Service was very slow probably because it was late night but the restaurant was mostly empty.

Both of my kids loved the food and our server, Sofia was so patient and attentive. We had the chicken alfredo, grilled cheese with fries, ahi tuna salad, bread pudding and cookie with ice cream. All of it was delicious! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food is so good. I had the raging’ redfish with the crawfish sauce. So good. My friend had the catfish orleans with crawfish etoufee. She says that was good too. We had the bred pudding. Can’t pass that up. Our server, Rachel, was very friendly and attentive. This place wasn’t busy at lunch. We will definitely be back.

Rachel did an incredible job taking care of our table. Was great at explaining details and looking for ways to customize meal to meet tables needs. The bread pudding was incredible. The boneless wings were good. The sweet potatoe fries could use a little more crisp. Great place to watch any sporting event.

Shalia was amazing! She was very attentive and detailed. She has a great personality and was patient with us. She was quick and helped us decide on what we wanted. We will request her when we come back. ♥️

Ny’Che was exceptionally great in her overall service. We have eaten at walk on before. Today, her smile, friendly greetings was top snotch, and her customer service was exceptional.

Roni was my waitress and she literally accommodated all of my request with a smile I was unsure of what I really wanted to order but she was able to help me navigate through many choices. I was really impressed with how well she knew the menu. After making my final choice. She begin to help me with dessert options My beverage of choice was unsweet tea but I love strawberries. I requested strawberry puree from bar and she made it happen It is always a pleasure to enjoy a meal while also enjoying a night of THURSDAY FOOTBALL!!!! I was very pleased with my service and food. There are literally over 50 tv with surround sound outside as well

I ordered take out from this place and it wasn't bad. Although not Cajun, I ordered the smoked Gouda turkey burger and it was pretty good. The turkey was good and the fries were pretty crispy. For a turkey burger not bad at all. The sandwich was pretty big so that was a plus. Inside, it is a typical sports bar feel which is great for watching the game or a casual setting to meet with friends. I do wish there were more fries

YUMMY!!! Every time I visit Walk-on's the food is always delicious! They have a pretty big menu and lots to choose from with a Cajun feel! While the service we received was about a 2.5/5, they made up with it with the food! I had the pasta, my husband had fried fish and both dishes were perfect!!! The only thing I didn't like were the jalapeño hush puppies that came with the fried fish. I also love that they have lots of TVs and even games to keep the kiddos busy while we wait for the food...it's a perfect family night type of thing. I can't wait to go back!!

Good food. Servers are very attentive and took great care of us. Like all the tv's so I don't miss anything.

Our server was so friendly and attentive, she even recommended a few items on the menu since it was our first time dining here. I ordered the Blueberry Coconut Mojito and wow so good, 10/10! For an appetizer we got the Devils on Horseback and these were so tasty 8/10. I got the Boom Boom Shrimp tacos for my Entrée and it was very flavorful 8/10. Overall it was a very lively atmosphere and I would highly recommend!

My husband I are always looking for a great weekend spot and we found one!!!!Great spacious place, clean, many tvs, plenty of menu options, great food and even better service. Kristen our waitress is great, friendly and so professional. We live in Katy for a long time and it's nice to find a great place such as this one in our town.

Business lunch for a group of six. Walked right in and were promptly seated. The menu had changed since last visit so tried the zydeco salad. Huge and delicious. Definitely a keeper. Loved it. We had several different appetizers and all was cleaned up. We had boudin balls and Gator. Yes they added Gator since last visit. We had some newbys to Gator and yep they said it tasted like chicken. Extremely fast service and great waitress. Good job all around. Huge parking lot and a newer location so clean and fresh. Good food, great fast service and easy parking. Awesome.

Everything about this place was just average. Absolutely nothing special. Also little on the expensive side. On the plus we did have good service. Setting is your typical sports bar atmosphere.

I can't get enough of Walk-On's! I've already been here twice this week, and I'm still craving more. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend trying the catfish atchafalaya and the cajundillas--both are standout dishes. Don't miss out on their raspberry lemonade either; it has just the right kick! While waiting for our food, I had a blast playing the basketball arcade game, which added to the fun atmosphere. There's plenty of parking, and our waiter was outstanding, making sure our food arrived super fast. Even their broccoli is amazing. I'll definitely be back for more!

Have to give a 5 here for now. Ordered a Michelob Ultra and was in before lunch rush. Also ordered the lemon butter chicken and asked for the lemon butter on the side as I have to watch my figure, haha. lol. WOW, I have to tell you, the grits that are under the chicken breat were whipped to a perfect consistency just like whipped potatoes though a much smoother taste believe it or not. Chicken was grilled absolutely perfectly and was moist with no fatty/chewy spots. Broccoli, well it's broccoli but grille perfect, not under grilled or over. Great atmosphere, great employees, the cooks love their product as it shows. I need to try when busier to see if the 5 star holds up. Stay tuned, I will be back after these messages.....

For years we came to Walk Ons for their epic Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Recently, we ordered our dinner and what was brought to us was a reflection of a RECENT CHANGE TO THE MENU ITEM. NOW IT IS A SAD FLATTENED LITTLE PIECE OF CHICKEN that mostly resembles fast food calibur. We spoke to the manager and he explained that they had to flatten it because the cooks didn't know how to make sure it was cooked through and that the waitresses couldn't carry the original to the tables without it toppling over. Seriously? And to top it off... They raised the price and reduced the ounces. Come on Walk Ons! You can do better!

Everytime I come here I ask for Lorena She is fantastic. Everything comes out great with her serving us. Food was fresh and delicious Environment was awesome. I LOVE SUNDAY FOOTBALL at walkons

The service was excellent.our server was attentive and polite. The food was delish. I'm not a huge fan of spinach deep as it can be hit or miss. Glad I tried it . This one was definitely a hit. I'd in the area I would definitely go back.

Just finished lunch and the entire family was disappointed. Cajun press poboy was full of small rubbery shrimp and not pressed at all. Our cheeseburger showed up with no cheese. Very disappointed with food and service. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Loved the lemon chicken, like really loved it! We will be back for sure. Glad to have another choice.

My shrimp was delicious very large My husband at the Atchafalaya platter whuch he devoured. Our server Jade was attentive to our needs. I highly recommend her if your stopping in for a good meal

Love this spot, went to meet an ole friend from the USMC, I read the reviews and decided, "why-not".. we received great service, the food was amazing, I had the tacos he had wings and we drank quite a view Margaritas made to satisfy lots of tvs, bar scene was great to have a conversation and the staff were right on point, not pushy, but there when we needed something.. highly recommended this place..

FOOTBALL ONLY SPORTS BAR We went on Sept.8th, 2024 to watch the US OPEN TENNIS MEN'S FINAL with American Taylor Fritz, and the server, the bartender and the manager refused to put the game on only 1 tv. They all gave us the silly excuse of satellite reasons. WHAT? The match was on the local open channel ABC13. When we complained, the manager told us it is football season. REALLY? NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE HOUSE!

This is a great sports bar. The food was good, and it was on the chiller side as far as bars go for Sunday football. We sat in a booth, and we don't like the shoulder to shoulder standing room sort of vibe. So, this was the perfect spot.

If you want to come to a Bar & Grill located in the Katy area with wall to wall TVs, this is definitely your place. I ordered their turkey burger with queso, chips and a dos xx. Altogether there wasn't anything extraordinary, but all around pretty good food and great atmosphere! A place for family and friends to kick back and watch a game.

Let's start with the good. No great! The food is great! All 4 of us loved our meal while watching the US OPEN. Totally recommend the food! The bad, the service was horrible. After ordering drinks only half the table got their order so we reordered and it took forever to get them. Our food also took forever to get to our table. So much I asked to see the manager and they never came to the table. I guess they really don't care or the hostess never told them? It'll be awhile before we go back.

Was in the Katy area and decided to stop in for lunch. It wasn't very busy yet and most of the tables were empty. It took a couple of minutes before a hostess greeted us and got us a table. Once we were seated we sat for a few more minutes waiting for a waiter, but no one came to even take a drink order. We waited a few more minutes and still nothing. We saw one waiter in the area who passed our table to deliver food to another table and 2 more in the kitchen. After over 10 minutes of waiting, we got up and left. Service needs improvement. Waiters need to show more urgency and do better addressing customers!

Food and drinks are always good. The service is lacking at times. I have been on several occasions at various times in the day and the servers are hit and miss. My son loves all the TVs and it's a great place meet up with his baseball team after a game.

I wanted to come by on Sunday but they didn't open until Monday. This will do well in Katy. Located fight off I-10 bad Grand parkway between Whiskey Cake and the movie theater. Parking is great, private lot plenty of space. Everyone was very welcoming when I arrived. I took a seat at the bar and was immediately waited on with a menu for drinks and for food. I decided to have a margarita and two appetizers one which was broccoli was very well prepared and loaded mashed potatoes. The margarita was a peach moonshine. The drink was excellent also. I will probably come back and watch a game the patio is huge with many TVs and plenty of seating.

Really good Sports Bar and surprisingly good food. I was expecting something along BWW. But this place was a whole lot better. Good Burgers and Sandwiches, Good Wings and Fries.

First time visit!!! Ambiance is good ( but the chairs are heavy and make a very loud scraping sound when moved... We had a busser who did not understand lifting vs. dragging chairs). I've digress.. the beer selection is great and cold but the food is even better!! I had the pineapple tacos and they were awesome! If you want great food and a great sports bar combo, come visit this place! Worth a visit!!

Listen up! Pricing here in Katy and Houston is ridiculously high. A plate of red beans and rice is 13$. Add a catfish filet and you're looking at a 20$ plate. Red beans in a store cost under 3$ lb and a filet under 7$/lb with a filet being under 1/2 lb on average. Folks, we are being taken advantage of by restaurants since COVID and its time to fight back against their ridiculous pricing by reducing spending on restaurant dining.

Let's start out by saying we like to come here and maybe its an off day but maybe not. My wife and I came to sit at the bar. First and foremost the bar top was dirty. My wife asked for it to be wiped down. There was a young kid sitting at the bar watching a football game who put out the cleaner and a rag. The bartender seemed annoyed she had to wipe it down. She started but couldn't reach so my wife finished. We ordered food and my wife ordered chicken tenders with a side of bbq sauce which came after i ate my food. Ok no biggie my beer glass has been empty for like 15 min. Bartender maybe overwhelmed or just doesn't care . Will we come back i do not know.

My husband and I went here for lunch on a whim. It was delicious! The Bloody Mary is amazing and so tasty! The Cajun seasoning they use is out of this world! It was filling too! Haha! The Buffalo chicken sandwich is huge! Two chicken breast! It was crunchy and very flavorful. The brioche bun is sweet and yummy. The boom boom shrimp was really good and so are their waffle Fries! Everything was very well seasoned and delicious. Our waitress, Paige was super sweet and working so hard! They were short staffed but she still took amazing care of us! We will defiantly be back!

This is definitely a great place for a couple of beers, appetizers, and grazing. The entrees were good, but nothing spectacular or unexpected. I honestly could just fill up on the appetizer menu and be totally happy. We did get the bread pudding and unless you LOVE sugar, I would pass. It is SWEEEEEEET, we had to send it back. Steve (Manager) and Sarah (waitress) we're excellent with their service. We will definitely be back!

Very lively Sports Bar. Not a bad seat in the house. Lots of TVs with multiple channels happening. Lots to choose from on Tap and bar. Loud but not overwhelming. There is a small area of games for you to play. We have been multiple times. We enjoy the food. This time it was burgers and fries. They also have sweet potato fries as an option. Portions are always big. Servers are always nice. Not the fastest service but usually for lunch in and out in 45-50 min. Food has always been great quality. We will continue to come.

Wanted a get a small bite to eat. I remember going to the walk ons in baton Rouge and enjoying my food. This location was very mediocre on the food and the service. It was a gorgeous day and we wanted to sit on the patio. They advised no servers were serving on the patio that day. That was strange. Queso came out cold, blackened fish was too soft, burger was good. Plenty of parking and tvs. Drinks were the best part of the visit and the only reason for a return visit.

Walk-Ons is, hands down, the BEST place for lunch, dinner, a bite, or drinks; and it is definitely the ULTIMATE SUNDAY TICKET. I think Walk-ons combines the best aspects of a sports bar and a bistro restaurant: comfortable yet clean and modern, tons of sports on TV but also a screen with funny clip videos for kids or the bored wife. I had the Hangover Burger (w/ fried jalapeños, spicy mayo, pepper jack and caramalized onions added - fried egg and bacon come standard on the Hangover), Fries and Side of Broccoli w/ Parmesan, and a HUGE Ghost in the Machine, IPA. The staff is Customer service oriented and hard-working: you will never be disappointed by inattentive service. Thanks for the great times Walk-Ons!

Lunch service at 1pm took 1.5 hours. Our kids were over it. Took over an hour to get 2 kids chicken tenders. Food was good but we just can't wait that long when the restaurant isn't even half full. Waiter apologized for food, ended bringing kids food first. Ours came at almost 1.5 hours. Just took way too long for a sports bar.

I'm only giving it a 4 because the food is great. But the service at this location is terrible. And for the love of all patrons - there needs to be some type of rules for the basketball kids games. It's like parents just say out here's $$ have fun. Kids were running around with the basketballs throwing them and the parents were no where in site. Our waitress tonight was slower than molasses. The location in the colony is 100 times better which sucks because I really enjoy this place. ‍oh well

1/19/23 party of 3... We had fantastic service in the bar area even though we were there for a few hours catching up... The food was great and the atmosphere was fun for a Thursday night!

Party of two went on a Saturday night. They were busy bur despite having a bunch of tables our server was very nice. Ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp with the sweet chili dipping sauce, not bad. Main course was a pasta dish which I can't recall but I know it had a crawfish sauce but the noodles were cold and it wasn't flavorful at all. Also weird that it had fried shrimp on it. The smoked gouda burger was very good. I'd say this is a typical chain Applebee's level restaurant and I wouldn't return. The environment and service was ok, but nothing about the food would make me go back. This could be a cool place to watch sporting events since it had plenty of tvs.

Terrible food and drinks. Service was good, but wouldn't go back. Drinks are watered down and food tasted old and reheated. Came to the table a little too quick to be fresh. And on a Friday evening??? the ambiance is great! I just wish the food and drinks would match, coz I would favorite this location. Grits were like lumpy mashed potatoes. Kitchen and bar needs to improve to save this place.

So great. We went here before a movie and lost track of time and they were super helpful rushing out our check and a box! Amazing service. Food was so good- can't wait to go back

Ordered the bayou pasta and corn grits. The pasta was good but the corn grits were perfection. Our server Heaven was polite and observant, she attended to us with enthusiasm. The place wasn't too crowded but as we were leaving you can see the dinner crowd trickling in. Clean bathroom also. Will be back.

Visited on a Friday evening. Place was about half full and lively. I'd describe it as a wing stop on steroids. Huge TV's every place you turn and rowdy patrons. Service was good, food was somewhat edible. Ordered the lemon butter chicken. Mouth full of room temp butter. Sent it back. Replaced with a berry pecan salad. It was okay. Unless you like your salad drowning in dressing, order it on the side. Cheese sticks were wonderful. There's definitely a customer type for this place but i probably won't be back. Just not my scene.
