I really enjoyed my 3 weeks of Walk Spanish classes as a beginner. So long as you’re clear on what to expect, it’s a great experience. Classes start in a cafe where you spend the first 2/2.5 hours. As a coffee and brunch enthusiast, I found this in itself a great way to see different CDMX neighbourhoods and cute cafes I probably wouldn’t have found otherwise. You then spend the last couple of hours out and about, sometimes museums, galleries, markets etc. These are pretty flexible and your teacher will ask for suggestions if there are particular things you want to see.
It’s a fairly unstructured teaching style, but I enjoyed getting to know the basics and getting the chance to test out my conversational phrases in public. If you’re expecting usual classroom/structured learning then this may not suitable. If on the other hand you’re expecting to be walking around on a “tour” the whole time, you may be disappointed. Recommend asking the school for more info if you’re unsure, but I found the teachers super sweet and made some fantastic friends!
