I really enjoyed my time in Mexico City and Walk Spanish. I'm a novice Spanish speaker but my teacher Diana made me feel at ease. It was a nice blend of class and cultural experiences. I especially enjoyed the museum visits. I have recommended Walk Spanish to my friends.

Amazing teachers employed by a moderately disfunctional organization. Aline was an EXCELLENT teacher. I entered WalkSpanish as an early A2 speaker and feel that I progressed quite a bit during my 5 weeks in class. The classes were interesting and varied significantly throughout our time. We almost never returned to the same place twice and got to visit some really special places (Chapultepec Castillo, Bellas Artes, etc.) for free in class. Our only major issue was the WalkSpanish organization failing to provide us a host family that they had already committed to before we arrived. They were very bad communicators when it came to housing and we were left scrambling to find housing after our homestay with WalkSpanish fell through two days before we were supposed to move in. If you do decide to do a homestay through WalkSpanish, make sure to get the contact info of your host before you arrive in CDMX and confirm directly with them. I would honestly recommend finding housing outside of WalkSpanish. We used homestay.com which had many good options and helped us avoid staying in AirBnB. Still 5 stars because the classes were so great!

I can’t recommend the school and our teacher, Tess, enough. We met in a coffee shop in a different part of town from 9am until around 11.30am each morning before going to an interesting site in that locality to put what we learnt into practice until 1pm. A really great way to teach a new language, even as a complete beginner. 10/10.

I did one week at level B1 with Tess. As a retired teacher I notice methods, pacing, breadth of knowledge, student engagement, etc. She was excellent in all of these. During the week we worked consistently on the present subjunctive and I made significant progress on this concept which is not intuitive for English speakers. I absolutely enjoyed the lessons in cafes, parks, museums, etc. Even though I am old enough to be the grandparent of some of the students, I was welcomed and included. All in all, this was a great experience and a fun way to learn Spanish and discover CDMX.

I am finishing up my week of lessons with Aline and Diana at Walk Spanish. It was just a great experience with intelligent and thoughtful teachers. I highly recommend the class to anyone wishing to learn or improve their Spanish. Excellent teachers! The has been a week filled with intentional learning where instruction is intertwined with fun and informative visits to places in Mexico City. I took the regular class with Aline and private lessons with Diana. As I am still struggling with my Spanish I really appreciated the kind and knowledgeable encouragement! I will return to Mexico City and will certainly be taking additional classes . Both women were wonderful. I also enjoyed the mix of students . It was a great experience!

I had two weeks of group and private classes with the wonderful Lorena! I feel like it was a good mix of learning, exploring different parts of the city, and just fun getting to know other people in the group. Lorena was a kind and patient teacher, and also created a comfortable environment where we all felt comfortable speaking Spanish to each other as best as we could. I found the mix of conversation and also learning/re-learning basics to be very productive - and the private lessons were especially helpful to ask more personal questions and tailor the class to where I needed help - but also it was an opportunity to chit chat with Lorena in Spanish - which was a pretty cool improvement for me considering I previously only had basic grammar, vocabulary and phrases. I wish I could have continued longer. Would definitely recommend!

I studied Spanish at WalkSpanish for 5 weeks in Mexico City and had the best time! I first had 3 weeks of group classes, where I met a lot of great people to explore the city with and upgraded my Duolingo Spanish to a level where I can do basic conversations. I enjoyed it so much I also had 2 weeks of private classes, during which I was able to practice more speaking and target other areas which I want to focus on. I was able to be friends with my teacher Diana Magali, who is extremely passionate about the Spanish language, and was able explain complicated subject matters in a very understandable way while educating us on Spanish and Mexican culture while we learn. Couldn’t be happier about my time here. 10/10 would recommend!

I am delighted to write this review for my Spanish teacher, Vanessa, whose private classes have been an absolute pleasure to attend. She is truly one of the kindest educators I have ever met. From the very first lesson, she created a welcoming and supportive environment, making it easy for me to feel comfortable practising a new language. Her patience and understanding stand out in every session. No matter how many questions I have or how often I need clarification, she always responds with encouragement and a warm smile. This positive attitude has helped boost my confidence and made learning Spanish an enjoyable experience.
