"The town’s artisan bakery doubles as a sit-down restaurant, serving pastries, pancakes, and eggs in the morning and sandwiches, salads, and pizza at lunch. Owner and lead baker Michele Pompei is a contestant on the Food Network show “Best Baker in America.”" - Matthew Lombardi

Really delicious pastries and reasonable prices. The pastry display was very beautiful. Sandwiches and salad were great too. There was a big line when we went first thing in the morning, but worth it!

Oh my goodness there is a reason why the owner/baker/chef was on Food Network! This place is AMAZING! TO DIE FOR! INCREDIBLE! I can’t say enough. The menu is absolutely breath taking and the pastries, food, tea, AND BREAD will have your mouth watering when you leave. Service is friendly and fast! Wood stone fire, the smells, the music, the atmosphere brings me back to my grandmothers kitchen. STOP HERE every chance you get!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ A hidden gem in downtown WALLA WALLA, WA!

Wow! I wanted to eat everything on the menu - AND every pastry and loaf of bread. Next time! A bit of a line but it went fast. The monte cristo was delicious and plenty for sharing.

WWBC is good, but not quite great yet. Great space, indoor and outdoor with good location. Prices are not too over the top. Service on the slower side. I went twice, both times for brunch. The egg and herb tartine was outstanding. Delicate flavor and texture. The cappuccino was a little bland, likely poor extraction or bean selection. The margarita pizza the next day was a little too doughy and wet in the middle, as noted by other reviewers as well. The macarons were also a little chewy and bland. The wine served with it had clearly been left out a little too long. But just minor adjustments can really take this spot to the next level. Worth a try, but with tempered expectation.

Adorable place for breakfast. The day I went they had 34 different kinds of croissant/Danish! The strawberry and white chocolate ganache one was the winner for me but everything I tasted was great. Fresh press juice and great coffee too!

DELICIOUS! Order at the counter and wait (impatiently, lol), for your delicious food to be prepared! I enjoyed a Italian chopped salad and it was exceptional. Mr. Wonderful had a pork banh mi and said it was “really good.” But what we came here for was the bread - and - it did not disappoint! We purchased three loaves to take home. A San Francisco Sourdough, a wheat and a multigrain. They also have an amazing array of pastries - something for everyone.

We got here right after opening because we didn't want to miss out on the red velvet croissants. The staff are so kind, everything looks and smells amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of what we ordered. We'll definitely be back here the next time we visit walla walla.

Had the grilled cheese and Tomato soup. The grilled cheese was a bit burnt and not savory. The Tomato soup, was more cream of Tomato with lots of spices (not really to my taste)
