I really wish this place was dog-friendly! We enjoyed the beverages and apps that we had. The brewery was spacious and modern. Great outdoor space, but I would have loved some yard games for the kids.

Google
This is a frequent stop for us as we live pretty close by. Whenever we are hiking or just in the mood for a solid place to eat and we don't feel like making a decision, this is usually or our go to. We love their beers and their food never disappoints! We always head for the bar seats (there aren't many, although they did just add a few more recently) because it is the only way you will be waited on completely. They do not have table service so if you're seated at a table, you have to get up to place your food order near the kitchen and then go stand in line to get each beer. Their beer is probably my favorite as far as local breweries go and their food is always soooooo good! They have a regular menu with tons of options and then they have a "pilot menu" that changes weekly and usually has some fun and different choices on it. They also do brunch on Sundays, they have a kids menu, and they also do a soup and salad or soup/salad and half a sandwich options also. They do brewery tours, have a ton of cool merch and sell to go beeer. They do have gluten free rolls and usually some sort of cider and wine if you have a gluten allergy. They do live music often and it's usually an acoustic musician so it's the perfect volume to enjoy your meal and cocktails and still hear yourself think! There is an outdoor patio area for when the weather is nice with tables and some games. The staff are all super friendly and helpful with menu or beer selections ... just a great stop every time!

Google
Wallenpaupak Brewing Co. has great food and an excellent selection of beers. No doubt about it. But the ordering process here continues to be a mess. Every time I visit, it seems to get more confusing. There are good employees on staff, but even they look just as baffled by the system. Most recently, we were told we couldn’t sit outside with food on a perfect spring day. Seriously? That kind of restriction, along with the outdated QR code ordering, makes the experience feel stuck in the pandemic era. Everything else about this place is awesome, which is why it’s so frustrating. The leadership needs to listen to customer feedback and bring back real service. People want to enjoy good food, good beer, and good company without the hoops. Let us sit where we want and order our food like every other restaurant. We’re adults. Get with it.

Google
Really big place. Clean and open seating. Lots of room which would be good for larger groups going out. Food was really really good. We got the smash burgers, bao buns, poutine, wings, the pretzel and a bunch of beer. Service was good and food came out fast.

Food and drinks were amazing. Shania was great! She's very charismatic, personable and attentive! Highly recommend!!!! We will surely be back and she sold us on bingo night!!

I’ve been in and out of the area since 2020 and kept saying I’m going to stop here when I get a chance. Finally did, and by far Wallenpaupack Brewing has become one of my favorite local breweries. The beer is so fresh, crisp, aromatic, they really make the magic happen. Best pub style food I’ve had, that was a hit. No wait and the place is pretty cool. Will be back… Chris was pretty awesome. Great tour and the care and craftsmanship in the beer making process was astounding

Google
Without a doubt one of the best options in the area. Sunday evening in the summer and the outdoor area was closed and the service was all over the place (we had 5 different waitresses). The grilled marinated chicken on the pilot special was 5 stars with the grilled bacon chicken ranch sandwich at 3 stars lacking depth and ranch. I asked to taste the Mexican lime beer and they brought a 16oz and it was lime overpowering. Go here knowing that it’s the best in the area but 3 stars if comparing to NYC or any other foodie hub.

Google
One of the best breweries in the area. Full disclosure, I drink liquor, not beer. But there’s something to be said that even a non-beer drinker would come here. The food was great. They had these fantastic seasoned soft pretzels with some awesome dippers, the pretzels were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife loved her burger and I really enjoyed my brisket. The beer? I don’t know, it tasted like beer but i’m not here to talk beer, if you like uniquely crafted beer this is your spot, it’s a brewery, it’s right on the tin. You like beer? Yeah? Go here. But I enjoyed the industrial decor and the food. Plus they made me some vodka Arnold Palmer drink so it exceeded my expectations of thinking I would have to be just focusing on the food. They do carry a selection of local wines also if that’s your thing. Staff was great helping us out for our first time visit and just an overall good experience to be repeated. I was also surprised at the amount of children running around and they do have a kids menu so don’t let your little ones deter you from making this a stop.

Yelp
We six stopped in briefly for beers and soft pretzels. Super professional and friendly service from walking in the door. VERY good beer. Big open space -- very inviting. Pretzels were great, but oddly all three dipping sauces were too sweet, even the beer cheese. Cinnamon dip for a pretzel? No thanks. Honey mustard was waaaay too honey and no enough mustard. And beer cheese had no snap -- way too mild. The wonderful multi-herbed pretzel deserves better dipping sauces!

Yelp
They have one of my favorite beers (Activator), but for some strange reason only have it 3 months of the year. No idea why one of their award winning brews has such limited availability. Seems counterintuitive. Went here with the fam tonight for dinner and beer of course. Prices are high, food was pretty good. Service was DREADFUL. Waitress was friendly but not bright. We all finished our food before any of the drinks arrived, including soft drinks. This was after asking about the drinks several times.

Deana H.

Yelp
The only good thing was the music. The burgers are horrible-right out of the frozen box and both me and my kids felt sick all night. The pretzel had some horrible seasoning that non of us couldn't stop tasting for hours after-to the point we nauseated. Maybe the brews are good but please change the burgers to real burgers and the pretzel is not good.

Yelp
Great spot! Ventured here after a hike and quickly researched food online. Sampled a few beers which ended up being delicious, and the Caesar Salad and Bratwurst Sandwich... was fantastic. The group I was with confirmed how good their food was as well! Our service included ordering at the bar. Nice staff. I happen to judge food based off of timing as well, and we were on the verge of waiting just enough before we started to comment. Sometimes the longer the wait the BETTER the delivery, and this was one of those cases. Everything came out great! I'd easily come back here. Such a vibe.

Yelp
We love Wallenpaupack and are always so excited to visit when we come up to Woodloch. The Hawley Hefeweizen is my go to but I love to see the seasonal options as well. Great for the whole family.

Yelp
It was a quiet afternoon on a weekday but you can't beat the lunch special price of $10 or $12. I ordered half a salad and soup. I didn't like the cheddar beer soup, tasted too much of cheese. The salad was good with beer dressing. My bf ordered onion soup and shrimp tacos. Both of his dishes were good. I really enjoyed the Malbec lager, red wine with a lager. Carbonation was light and wasn't sweet at age. The way I like my red , dry. I ordered 4 cans to go as gifts.

Yelp
Visiting the lake so we decided to get together for dinner. I'll break it down for ya. Nice atmosphere, good crowd ! Food - my burger that I ordered - medium - was overcooked, dry and the cheese was cold. Great fries! Same with others in my party! All burgers were overcooked-dry- pucks! Homemade potato chips - way overcooked! Bratwurst was fantastic! Beer- good, I had No wake zone- tasted like Blue moon. Epic beer selection- can & draft! Others liked their beer choice, but rated good, nothing special! Waitress service was not so good, you order food with app, or at bar -that's fine but delivery of food, lll be nice, she was nasty! - beer delivery by a gentleman was fine. We have been drinking past for years - decided to give it a try again, this is our third visit and it has changed- previous visits all excellent service!

Yelp
What an awesome brewery!! We drove all the way from Camelback (1 hr and 15 min). It's a large brewery. Sunday they do $10.00 flights. I had their 4 IPA's. I liked them all. We are here on a Sunday and they have live music. They have a food menu, but we didn't eat. This brewery has an awesome vibe to sit and sip for a while. They have a water station to hydrate in between beers. I definitely recommend this brewery.

John L.

Yelp
Way to go WBC !!! Their menus list what foods are safe for you to eat, depending on your allergy.

Yelp
Came in with a group of 7, really excited to try it out as we aren't from the area. Atmosphere was super awkward and uncomfy. Kitchen staff was super attentive but front of house staff was pretty awkward. My husband ordered an egg on his salad & was told they were out. They said they could make a hard boiled egg, but it would take a while and would be hot. Didn't seem like that was an option by the way it was said. Just a very uncomfy experience all together. Lots of staff just sitting around and awkward staring.

Julianne M.

Yelp
Very modern set up, order food online but lots of staff around to help if needed! Quick service

Yelp
This is a really nice brewery and has a nice selection of beers. I visit this area ever so often to get away for a few days and this brewery is one of the highlights of the area. They have some really good beers on tap and the food is very good. The pretzel is as big as your head, nice size. Many times they have a live band, which is nice. During the warmer weather they can open the garage style window doors that lead to a nice beer garden type area. The prices here are also really good, not expensive at all. A flight of 4 beers is only like 12 or 14 bucks and is a good way to try out some different beers. They also do brewery tours on certain days, just check ahead for the hours of when they do it. So head here if you happen to be the area.

Yelp
Great beers. Great prices. Great service. There's a spacious and modern indoor space as well as plenty of outdoor seating for the warm sunny days. Pretzels and trio of sauces were a nice sharing option. I gave the pork tacos from the pilot menu a try, and I wasn't a huge fan (there was much of a standout flavor). Coordinate your visit with the 2pm pretzel eating contest if you're hungry. It's just 3 of the pretzel sticks, same as the shareable plate but without the sauces. $25 gift card to be used on a future visit is the prize. If nobody else signs up, you're an automatic winner.

Yelp
This place is a waste of time and money. The food was okay I guess. You have to order your food at the bartender's counter because they apparently don't do waitress' they bring it out to you but that's about it. And it smells disgusting because the smell of beer is so strong, I've been to other breweries that don't smell like beer . There's flies everywhere and when the food was brought out there was flies flying around that too. You literally have to fight them off your plate the entire time you're eating. Will never be coming back here. It was disgusting from that fact alone.
google avatar

Ray M.

Yelp
Asked two servers for silverware. First one acknowledged and said they'd be right back, never came. Stood up to flag down the second. She came back and said she found two forks but couldn't find knives. Tried cutting a pulled pork sandwich to split in two with a fork. Ending up on the floor. No one came to clean it up for the duration of the meal. Even worse you go up to the counter to order and pay so no one came back to apologize or even offer a comp for the sandwich that had no bites taken out of it because we couldn't get a knife for 15+ minutes. Wasn't even busy on a Saturday just to give you an idea of service or lack thereof. Management also responded to this review asking to email then completely ignored the email. Talk about dishonest company trying to save face.

Yelp
I expected great beer, the excellent food was a pleasant surprise! I wish we had more people with us so we could have sampled more menu items! Tons of seating, and the counter service setup kept it moving quick. Service was friendly and quick.
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
A lot of choices on the menu and a big, wide open family friendly space with live music when we were there.

Yelp
This place was recommended by a friend and I'm very glad we went. It was Sunday early afternoon and we wanted some food and beer. We were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess named Tara (we ended up chatting and found out her name and that she has done some brewing). The place is beautiful with seating inside and outside. On Sunday they have bingo for free between 12;00-2:00 and winners get gift certificates (I'll play bingo for beer anytime). I didn't win but it was fun. I did some tastings of beer and found it enjoyable. My husband and I shared a Korean beef dish with sticky rice. It was excellent. Tara told us the Owner and brewer is female which I was so glad to hear. Very pleasant experience and I will go back if in the area.

Yelp
Fun place! Loved the half sandwich and salad. It was perfect. It was fun trying several beers and the pumpkin pie beer was really good! Service was good and the place had a fun ambiance.

Yelp
My wife and I had a nice, low-key lunch here this week. It's a big place and can get quite busy but we had hit it at a quiet time. The hamburger and pulled pork sandwiches were great. And so were the french fries. Service was attentive. I'm looking forward to going back and trying a different beer.

Yelp
(Removed) Going with 2 stars. (Removed) The food is good. But the asinine way of getting food, beer, water, silverware, or a take home box is ridiculous. Been here 3 times. First two times were great. Food was good. The place functioned like a normal restaurant that happened to have a brewery and shop. It was cute. My girlfriend, my father, and myself liked it. Now we come back the third time. We walk in. Two girls are sitting on high chairs by the door talking to each other. They welcome us. Then a young man comes up to take us to our seat. So far nothing amiss. He asks "have you folks been here before?", to which we said yes. Let me explain something to you. When you totally change your dynamic on how your restaurant functions, asking if you've been here before, and assuming you knew this, means nothing. It should be phrased "have you been here since we changed our ordering system?" So to our surprise, the staff no longer take your order. You're seated. You go to one side of the restaurant to order food. You go to another side of the restaurant to order beer. You go to a water draft in the middle of the place to get your water. You get back up to ask the food desk for silverware or a take home box. You're given a table number. You take your table number to either food person, or beer person to open a tab. What's even more fun is when beer person can't find the tab food person started. So you're waiting as they walk back and forth to each other to figure out what's wrong. The simple answer is this entire system. Ok. Beer person found the tab from food person. You walk your own flights of beer to the table now. You get back up to get your waters at the draft watering hole. If you want ice you need to bring the water to the beer person to get you ice. As we are eating, I count 2 employees doing absolutely nothing. The same ones at the door when we walked in. They must work the shop. The 2 bartenders leaning back up against the bar talking. The two food people leaning up at the wall talking. And the young man who took us to the table initially. Bouncing between the groups of employees, socializing. So apparently with all these employees, this place can no longer function like a regular restaurant and take orders or check up on tables. This is where I found out I need to get silverware and "to go" boxes from food station and went to beer person to find out about the self serve ice-less water station. And to finally close, as expected, you get up to pay your check. The check that asks for gratuity. Seriously, how much do you think you deserve in this environment? Your entire restaurant is functioning like a modified cafeteria. Suffice to say, I won't be back. Sad. As I said the food was good. Except the homemade chips. They suck. Stick to fries. I changed my 2 stars to a 1 because of their moronic reply on google. "We'd like to hear more about your experience. Please send an e-mail including your name and the date of your visit to sales@wallenpaupackbrewingco.com , so our management team can contact you to resolve this issue." You want to hear more? My verbatim telltale is not enough? Do me a favor. Take your copy and pasted reply to one of the registers and tell them your table number. Is that info worthy of a gratuity?

Yelp
Great local brews and ciders, and a cute game show day on a Sunday. The menu sounded good but most things we got were so-so. Winners were the Korean style black bean burger and the Buffalo wings. Service was fine - you walk up to order, and they bring to your table. Would go back when in the area!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been wanted to try this place for a long time and when I finally had the time to stop by I was kinda disappointed. The place is nice and clean and staff was friendly. The beer was ok but the food was very disappointing. We came with a group of about 7 so we decided to order different things and share. The nachos were to sweet the bacon and blue just didn't blend well. The food was just not what you would expect at a brewery. The pretzels and Alpine Knockwurst were by far the table's favorite plates. The pretzels came with 3 great dipping sauces while the knockwurst sandwich was an explosion of flavors in every bite
google avatar

Stephy S.

Yelp
Nice spacious brewery. Food was good. You order at the counter and they will bring your food. The beer is good too, just no stouts on tap for some reason. Friendly service.

Brian C.

Yelp
Delicious food! The shrimp tacos and the kielbasa tacos were just out of this world. They were specials but hopefully they make it on the menu. The fries are seasoned wonderfully. I'm not a big fan on the separate counter service concept for the food and the drinks but it's not enough to keep me away. Fun looking place I'm sure on a game night but I got there when it was slow.

Tom P.

Yelp
After you get your table they take you credit card. Next you have to go up to the window to order your food. Now you go to the bar to get you drink. Somebody brings your food then you check Tip ???

Jeff L.

Yelp
Best smoked wings my uncle Darrell has ever had and he's a big time smoker (he won 2nd place at the Wayne County Fair Cookout). We also had lots of fun in the arcade area playing pinball and drinking a few cold boys.
google avatar

Darleen P.

Yelp
Not only is the beer great but I was blown away by the "brewery" food. Jeff is a very knowledgeable server who gets you excited about your experience. If you haven't been please go try out this great place.

MiMi N.

Yelp
Beer is good, food is awful! Pretzel is decent but $16. Lunch special is horrible. Chicken is over cooked and dry. So is the burger. The salad is not a half salad. It's a ramekin of lettuce. It's about a I/4 cup of lettuce. What a joke. Totally a rip off. Service is pretty slow. They are always short staffed. Go elsewhere.
google avatar

Jeremy P.

Yelp
Huge, inviting and industrial. There is a lot of space to move around and it allows for groups to feel spaced from their counterparts. It is intimidate enough too as a great hang out for a night out. The bar is quaint, and the staff help with your every need. Not to mention, the beer is quite tasty. The food pairs well too! A good brewery for a local lake life area.

Stan L.

Yelp
Great service, great brew, great food, great entertainment, and great atmosphere. What a super place to go.

Erock P.

Yelp
The whole thing with having to get up and order everything is rediculous and have the audacity to ask for a tip your screwing your employees out of tips by not letting them wait on tables
google avatar

Yelp
Had a late lunch on a Thursday in early May, and was moderately impressed. Location is massive but was mostly empty at mid afternoon before peak summer season. Ordering process is unusual but I understand the logic, given the size of the place. I had a salad off the spring menu and a side of poutine, plus a small pour of the Hawley Hefeweizen (award winner, etc). Everything was tasty though not amazing. My server never checked back and I did feel a bit neglected. All in all, a good place to swing by if you're interested in local brews.
google avatar

Gerard S.

Yelp
Nice venue, good quality craft beers. Especially enjoyed the Sawinaw Stout coming in at 10.4% ABV . At least a dozen beers on tap. Food served on premises. Order online for food to go.

Yelp
So, cool space. Good vibes. Friendly staff. Good beer selection. Hitting lot of marks! But: the food was super duper lackluster. I ordered the Arbys copycat with super high expectations. Wifey got a burger. Food took a bit to come, but not ridiculously long. When it came the presentation was good. Everything looked proper. Then I bit into my sandwich. It was luke warm. The cheese was not "melty" anymore and it was clear that it sat. The beef was underwhelming and lacked flavor. Bun was not steamy soft, but rather steamy sat around for a a while. Meanwhile my wifes burger was too hot to eat. The chef needs to learn how to time orders ‍. Not cool. Then, mine came with chips. A giant pile of chips. The chips were made on sight, but again: no flavor. Wife got fries which also appeared to be made on sight. Also devoid of flavor. While this place has the right foundation, the technique is sup par. The chef needs chef school. At 15 dollars for an Arbys copycat, I truly would have been better off going to Arbys. For 1/3 of the cost. All in all, I dont think I will be back anytime soon. PS- wifeys burger and fries came ketchup. On the side. In packets. ‍ Nast, sugary ketchup.
google avatar

Christie L.

Yelp
Beers were amazing! So many different options. Food is American style - you order yourself by going to the front. Chill vibes and perfect for friends. No servers but workers are helpful
google avatar

Yelp
This brewery is very impressive. Lots of room. Good food. I had a few of there beers and they were very tasty.

Neil S.

Yelp
Waited 15 minutes to get table not too bad .Ordered food took 45 minutes for food to come . French fries were so cold couldn't eat them . Go to pay bill it was one price and then they had to go to another register and price was high they had no clue why or what happened. I will not be back agin or recommend Beer was good and cold .
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
The tacos are always good and we love the pretzel. Tried Run from the Fuzz most recently and it was excellent . Wheat ale with peach purée. Always super clean inside. The kale salad was delish! Update: However, realized later we were charged twice for an item on our bill

Yelp
Wallenpaupack brewing has a beautiful outside and inside is a clean open atmosphere with a warehouse feel. Upon walking in you can seat yourself. There is a bar to your right and a counter where you can order almost straight ahead and slightly to the left as you walk in. I walked ahead and ordered wings and a burger. I was given a card with a number to put on a table so w Weber knew where to bring the food. Then I waked to the bar and ordered drinks. I had the pumpkin ale. It was a great flavor if you like that kind of beer. The whole process of ordering wasn't smooth and the girls behind the counter were unorganized and going back and forth between people in line and others walking up with questions. There was no flow and people seemed confused and jumped the line. The menus are given out at the counter where you order so people are looking through the menu and asking questions while Others who know what they want became impatient and tried to cut in front of the people reading the menu. The food came out quickly. I asked for the wings to be well done. They were not well done. Very hot and the sauce had an excellent flavor with enough spice to you tasted the flavor and not all heat. My burger came out perfectly cooked medium rare, as shown in my picture. Overall it was a good experience. The beer was great. Food was good. It is worth a second try.

Yelp
This is a super clean and modern space with an ample amount of seating. There aren't too many similar spots in the area, so it was no surprise to see that the brewery was packed when we came in for lunch on a Saturday. There are (of course) a ton of different local brews and wines to choose from. I tried the Brut IPA (champagne and beer mix!) and it was really delicious and refreshing. I also had a wine flight -- for $8 ($1 more than a standard glass of wine) you get four small pours. The rose and dry white were my favorite. Unfortunately both sweet picks were way too sweet for my palette. Food is super tasty! The pretzels and cheese sauce were standout. I also ordered a caprese chicken sandwich which came with lots of fresh mozz, tomato and a side of crispy kettle chips. I do think that $15 dollars was hefty for the sandwich, especially considering that it didn't even come with fries and the service is counter order. For a great ambiance, a solid meal and a wide selection of drinks this brewery is a wonderful option.
google avatar

Mick P.

Yelp
Looks like a car dealership from the outside and we actually drove past it at first. Bigger than we expected and busy. Waited a while and seemed very unorganized and it was! Liked the look inside and large outside patio but not dog friendly. No real communication from the start. Hawley Hefeweizen was good but didn't like the rest. Food was horrible and expensive. No service. Never made us feel welcome. I would drive past this brewery again and not make the stop.

Yelp
This was the second time I was going to Wallenpaupack Brewing Company, but it would be the first time that I would be able to eat at the location - COVID. I was excited because I already knew which beers I wanted, but then they suggested a flight and had new options and food. I honestly had to take a minute and regroup. I sat down and looked over the menu and the wait staff were very helpful with suggestions and tips. The homemade chip were delicious and the fries were outstanding. When they sell you load can fries you are getting a lot. The one thing that I didn't like (it unfortunately has nothing to do with the Wallenpaupack) but it was so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with the boys.
google avatar

QingQing W.

Yelp
It's very nice and cool settings inside. You get enough space if you have a group of people. We took the window seat because my son wanted to check the games outdoor. Foods are absolutely delicious! We ordered house salad, chicken wings, cauliflower bites, BBQ sampler and kids meal. They were all great. The most amazing thing was I made my son had some veggies! :)
google avatar

Richard B.

Yelp
Not sure why I looked around and saw food under every table at 7pm on a Thursday. The floors were obviously not swept in a while likely causing gnats to appear around our food as well. I would strongly suggest putting some kind of traps to control that situation. Food was meh, knockwurst a little dry, but redeeming a star for this place was the beer, which tasted very fresh.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Stopped by today for a quick late lunch. For it being a Tuesday at around 1:30pm the restaurant was very busy. Initially I found the ordering method to be slightly confusing/different but it worked fairly well. All of the workers I interacted with were pleasant and professional. I ordered the Paupack Cream Ale and the Pulled Brisket Sandwich. My beer and a pitcher of ice water were delivered very promptly. The beer was decent for a local craft brew. My sandwich and side of fries were also delivered swiftly. The sandwich was pretty good but slightly dry. It needed a bit more sauce or slaw. The French fries were outstanding. I would definitely go back for lunch, dinner or just some beers.

Yelp
This place is huge. When my friends and I arrived they said it was an hour&half wait, but we can go to the main bar if we just want beer..Cool. They ended up calling us in about 30min to seat us after all. COOL. The stout and heferwisen were good, but I got the worse bloating from my 3 beers lol. And the downside was the food came out an hour later. Very busy. My friends didn't care for the wings, but everything else was ok. Nice staff. Pretty cool place

Yelp
My wife and I swung by on our way home from a vacation at Woodloch Lodge. We choose WB Co because we had a couple of their beers at Woodloch and it was a Monday so our options were limited. We found the beers drinkable though not overly impressive. The staff was great throughout but the food was a bit subpar. Probably a great place to come on a busy Friday to bang back a few crushable beers, just wouldn't go for the food quality.

Yelp
We walked in and it was not crowded. Never got past the front door so we can't review the beers. Took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us then she went to find us a table and basically after another 10 minutes she didn't return and we left. So not a way to run a business.
