Visiting this farmers market is an amazing pastime activity for a Wednesday afternoon/evening! While the market itself is relatively small, the atmosphere is unbeatable as you can picnic and chill right next to it in the beautiful park. Lots of families here! Grab some berries from the market plus a book or friends & enjoy your day!

Terrific farmers market in Meridian Park, I bring the kids several times every summer for dinner. Good place to toss a frisbee, eat ice cream, and listen to unrelenting bagpipers.

Cute little midweek market. Great for stocking up for the second half of the week or just to go have a little picnic. They also have great food options! I especially love Sam's Crab Mac and Cheese and T'Juana Tacos.

stumbled upon this sweet farmers market - had great ethiopian food and saw beautiful dahlias. right by a darling garden!

I was my first time here, I went with my wife for a plant sale. It was a good experience, and they had every plant you could think of.

Best farmers market in town bc you can just put down a blanket, eat and drink what you bought, and let the kids run around the playground. It's a key part of neighborhood folks' summer relaxing on a sunny wed as the market in the park.

Small group of vendors... very mellow. There is a playground for kids and a field for Frisbee or a meal with family. It's a nice neighborhood event

Yelp
The Wallingford Farmers Market is of course --a Farmers Market. Not to the degree of say the Ballard Farmers Market, but the neighborhood and more really show up on a weekly basis while it's in season. The vendors are usually mainstays. Some include - Seattle Pops and Vespucci Pizza, but some other regulars are Tijuana Tacos, Knife sharpening services, Olsen Farms beef & more, Alvarez, Farmore and Hayton berry farms, French Guys bread, Republic of Cider, Seattle Scones and more. Lots of folks like to picnic out on the grass, which is something you can't do at Ballard market, so points there to Wallingford. There is often a busker doing some music, a balloon animal maker and neighborhood alliance members with info about the going On's which is nice as well as information about the Farmer's market itself, such as getting space and merch. What I don't care for are the canvassers. I don't mind them campaigning for .... whomever, but it gets annoying when I'm approached by a canvasser when I enter the market, I'm approached by a canvasser while I'm hanging out in the market, and I'm approached by a canvasser when I'm about to leave the market. It's too much. That all said, Wallingford Farmer Market is a nice way to support farms and small businesses and operates every Wednesday afternoon and always has a nice turnout for support.

Yelp
Los Chilangos is the food stand to visit here! Chilango is someone from Mexico City and Mexico City is notorious for having amazing tacos. I saw the name first and had to lower my sunglasses to have a better look because tacos from a Chilango is not something you say no to! They have a trio platter that is not only beautiful but a perfect sample trio. The food stand and truck turnout at this farmers market is small but the stands sell amazing stuff that you can really get a little of this and a little of that. Theres a cheese stand with balls of fresh cheeses like mozerella, and queso Oaxaca. A kombucha stand selling servings starting at $5 and and even growlers. Dear Table Farms had my favorite veggies. They were by far the most colorful and aesthetically pleasing. They even have beautiful edible flowers which they said really adds a little extra to even a simple salad. The most random but amazing thing I found is DeToedorant from DoReMiFaSoap. It's natural deodorant lotion for your feet! If you're wearing birkenstocks all summer long like I know 1/2 of the PNW is doing right now, you will love this! It's slightly waxy texture is really great and probably less harsh on your cork sole.

Yelp
great farmers market, but the have almost no hot food now. that means if you show up for dinner expect a 45 min line. Best try later in the summer when things have settled down

Yelp
Right in front of the 16 bus stop and super convenient to get to! This quaint little place is in a nice little alcove in what can only be described as a park. There are select crabapple trees and shady areas, perfect for picnics, a wide variety of little vendors selling everything from fresh produce and fresh fish to caramels, cookies, juice pops, granola, hummus etc! Super kid-friendly, with face-painting stations, little playground obstacle courses, and coloring tents too. If you're hungry and want to eat right now, you could also stop by select sandwich stands inside the market and grab some dinner to-go! There's something for everyone here, and in the summer, it's a great place to take your kids or your special someone (there's also a guy in the market who sits at his typewriter and writes personalized poems for you on a spot, for a small fee). No Ellenos here, but just about everything else!

Yelp
Small (40 -60) vendors depending on the week. Mostly fresh produce, a few butchers, a small group of cheesemongers and a couple hot food optioins. Various cooking demonstrations and live music set in a great grassy park like enviroment with ample street parking if need be.

Yelp
Can't wait for the market to start again soon! A great mid-week market! Tons of fresh produce and yummy treats

Yelp
Rapidly becoming my favorite midweek farmers market in the city. Best picnic area by far. And dinner-type vendors are really expanding. Great space for kids to roam around and tons of delicious prepared food along with great farm stands for stocking up the kitchen.
