Wally's

Second time visiting Wally’s in Hampton, NH and it certainly didn’t disappoint. An afternoon visit on Wednesday, good friendly crowd, great music, food and drinks were top notch! Check this place out because I’m sure you can’t get near this establishment in the summer. Oh, I’ll be there for sure! 10+!

Stopped by for a show last weekend, Ayron Jones, Them Dirty Roses, and Black Stone Cherry. Phenomenal place. Easy to get into and a great place to hang out. The stage is well set up. Great place for live music, plan to make my way up there for other shows in the future as a regular venue to visit.

Had a great first time at Wally’s seeing Plush . The staff were very nice and accepting and the food and drink prices were very reasonable. The P.A. is generous and packs a punch so bring ear plugs if you aren’t used to loud concerts. On-site parking is free and the lot is small so show up early like we did and you’ll be all set .

Last minute stop as our show was canceled and recommended this spot for another show. Ladies stall walls definitely need some attention but it also looks like they are renovating so I'm sure they will fix it

Twin lobsters Tuesday $18.98 soooo good 25 cents wings on Wednesday! The garlic par and sweet chili was so so good. $10 pizza on Thursday. Moght try it tonight

After a day of fishing went for some much needed food and were not disappointed. Got the prime rib special. Incredible value and everyone in our big party left happy! It was busy so service wasnt a 5, but the waitstaff works incredibly hard. We were there during sound check for a metal band, and the sound check sounded awesome. But, loud if you're trying to dine. But we knew what to expect so enjoyed it.

Good service, fun vibe, and good grub! I had the pizza special for $10. The pizza was great and and awesome value for lunch. I forgot to take a pic. Trust me, it was good!

Nice little venue/bar. All the staff/employees i encountered were very kind and polite. Bartender was very cool hooking me up with free water. Sounds is also good here. Didn't have to worry about earplugs, nice clean sound. Definitely worth checking it out again. 🤘🤘

Ive gone here with Family on various occasions , love how Spacious it is good dancing area and bar seating and old school atmosphere . The prices of the food are very reasonable, even with everything being more expensive in general and the same generous portions , fills you up . Two favorites are the Corned Beef , and Fish M N Chips ..would love to try the shrimp and fried pickles another time . It's good Service, minimal wait but can also tell the food is fresh isn't dry sitting around all day , The drinks are very reasonable as well , good variety , weaker fruity stuff and other standard ones not too weak and plenty of beer on tap, make it known they prefer Townies but sort of get it " Tourists the other white meat ". The music they play is typically awesome , solid two hours of 90s Rap and Rock KoRn, Metallica Cypress Hill, Eminem etc before it turned Country, rare it seems these days usually gotta sit through that entire night and or Folk . The porch is also nice and they don't make Smokers walk down the street which is obviously potentially dangerous at night yet still enough ventilation for Non-smokers. Only real complaint is the Women's room , the Space Heater is placed in a flammable way near towels , no soap available spreads germs and could use a good spray down in general, dirty . Otherwise , keep up the good work.

Best food ever. Service was great. The ambiance was cool and calm. Wally's has been a traditional stop for my family when we first stop in New Hampshire and it just keeps getting better. I personally recommend it for anyone who goes to Hampton, New Hampshire.

The service and music was amazing. The bouncer told me and my friend he remembered us and told us not to start to bar fights he was cute though :))) if your him please call us

Took 20 minutes for a server to talk to us and it's because we flagged them down. Food service was fast but proceeded to wait twenty minutes again to cash out after no one bothered to tell us card machine was down till post our ordering. Got to all the guys in the restaurant tho don't you worry! Overall slow bad service mediocre food.

Let me start off by saying the waitstaff is great! I am a local and frequented this establishment very frequently. With that said, I will not be returning to this place or any of the others he owns. The bouncer (Ed) had my vehicle towed from a legitimate parking spot, when showed the picture he said nothing he could do. Long story short if you want to avoid fines and trouble stay away from this tourist trap. It will cost you$$$$$!!! If you're looking for a bar with quality food, drinks and great bands on the weekends and avoid this trap, My suggestion is go a few miles down the road to Chop Shop in Seabrook NH. The bouncer there does not take kickbacks from tow companies (or anyone else).

It's a bar. In Hampton Beach. But what a bar. We were there to see Wildsyde a few weeks ago. The place was incredibly busy but the service was great- drinks and food delivered in a timely manner. And the wait staff was attentive without being overbearing. And the food is pretty darned good. Above all- it's a great place to see a band.

I loved their food. Chicken tenders, wings, chili. It's a huge place, and wasn't super crowded when I visited, but I decided to come back to see a concert here, and try some more of their food while I'm there! Great service, fun vibe.

Nice place, walked into a Trump and Pence sticker and got the whole vibe??? Staff was friendly, beer was cold and I got a lot of strange looks ? Got a little uncomfortable there? Probably would give the place another try. Might be time to get rid of the Trump sticker??

Wally's seems to be the place to be on weekdays early- ish... Busy at 12p, lightly dressed lovely bartenders... Pool tables and darts available... Big portions of food, I saw multiple people having lobster and enjoying themselves. We had cheesy french fries... missed the chives but didn't matter after a few martinis...

Wally's is always a good time on the back street in Hampton beach. Biker bar with food and drinks bar tenders are nice too food is also very good had Prime Rib with green beans and potatoes was plenty and good burgers are very good as well they have pizza as well outside sitting as well they also have live bands and pool table's to place gets rocking Wally's is a good time

Worst managed place I've ever experienced. Waited an hour and a half for one pizza and a plate of nachos. Walked out without ever getting the food. Parties who arrived before me were served before.

Always a good time. The perfect dive bar. Prices are good. Good food and music. They the staff and the patrons make you feel comfortable.

I would never go to this restaurant. EVER. I am a single mother of four on vacation and we went to Wallys yesterday for their10 cent wing deal... After also eating there multiple times this week including lobster night. My four children each ordered 10 wings and could not finish them. Right in front of my kids, they threw there wings in the garbage stating "you cannot take them home." Ridiculous. Total, we would have taken home about 12 wings? Really? This establishment has zero integrity. Not to mention DO NOT use the bathroom. Even if you eat all your wings, they will come back up in there unsanitary bathrooms!!!!

The staff was absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful. One of the staff from the front door was provoking and extremely aggressive towards a customer/ young woman & will be reported. Do NOT recommend going to this restaurant/bar while visiting Hampton beach NH.

Honestly I never write reviews, but I had to for tonight's experience as it was horrible. This happened on 5/13/23 @10:45p. My gf, friend, and I tried to go see the wildside concert but got turned away at the door for a bs reason. When we got to the door and the bouncer said my friend and I can go, but not our other "friend" (my gf). The reason he gave us is because he "saw her staggering across the road." We were crossing from the pizza place from across the road and we had to run as cars were coming. My arm was around her and I was pulling her to go faster because of the cars. She is shorter than me and wearing crocs so she had a little bit of a hard time keeping up with me. I assume this is probably the "apparent staggering" the bouncer "saw." I tried to explain the situation to the bouncer but he did not budge at all because, in his own words, he made a "judgement call." We got to the beach 10 minutes before we arrived at Wally's, and all 3 of us were 100% sober. I tried to point out the fact she was so we and said: "does she even look drunk." All he had to say was "we made a judgment call" even though she was clearly sober. I have had no problems going to Wally's in the past, and this is the first time bringing my gf here. This was her first experience with this establishment and she said she is never going to go there again because of the treatment she received. I hope Wally's makes a better judgement call as to who they hire for bouncers. Side note, we went to Bernie's after being turned away. For kicks and giggles I explained what happened at Wally's with the bouncer and asked him "if she looked drunk." He said "she clearly looked fine" and said she is "definitely good." If you made it this far, I appreciate the time you took to read this. I guess moral of the story is that if you cross the road to get there, don't try to run, as you might be turned away for "staggering."

The staff had attitude, and I wanted bacon on my fries. I thought it came automatically with bacon, but misread the menu. I asked her to throw on some bacon please and put back in oven. She( Alex) gave me attitude, and told me,

Lucked out and tried this on a local's recommendation. 2-15oz lobsters for $18. They were sweet, well cooked, and presented with an abundant supply of drop cloths, bibs, napkins, nutcrackers, and other implements of destruction. Enormous basket of delicious fries, and a tasty cup of slaw. Yes, it's kind of a biker bar, but the clientele is friendly, wait staff is helpful and appropriately attentive. Beer selection was not huge, but very nice. We will be back!

Well 3 years ago I swore I would never go back ! But today was a rainy day they were busy as busy gets ... server was Awsome! Young girl acknowledged us and said she would be back as soon as she could... understandable ... she was as prompt as could be ... twin lobster special was amazing.. music great.. drinks good ... definitely recommend

Me: hi, what do you have for bourbon? Bartender: I have Makers Mark and Johnny Black. Me: no other bourbon than the Makers? Bartender: Yes, I have Johnny Black Me: Johnny anything is a scotch, I want bourbon, nothing else besides the Makers? Bartender: I have Johnny Black and that's a bourbon, I know what I'm talking about! Me: No, you don't- I'll have a Bud Light. And what's up with taking my bar stool when I just spent $100 to eat and wasn't done yet? There's 50 people in the place and I get tossed from my seat! Chowder was excellent, wings were good, needs better management.

Great specials and the kids loved it. The kids love the place and 2 lobsters for $16.89. Wednesday 10 cent wing special, and the wings were great.

I been coming up too Wally's for years great place great people the problem is people don't appreciate what it cost to get food at that cost obviously people think they are entitled not only I think they live under a rock they only appreciate people that do things for them and kiss their ass. Never mind the staff, the labor, the cooks, the people that do everything to provide a reasonable meal and a cold beer the best thing they can do is go back to their house, invite all their friends and tell all their friends about their experience, that will eliminate more unappreciated people and they're trying to get something for nothing and the rest people will enjoy there stay

Food not bad, very spacious environment, crowded and understaffed. We sat at a table that was dirty, no one came to clear or offer a menu until we flagged a waitress ( that was 20 minutes). That waitress never came back Then we finally got a sweet young lady who was training and she was awesome. She was training and does not get the tips and they pool their tips ( not a fan of). Didnt feel a tip was warranted as our wonderful trainee wouldn't get any and no one else attended. then a MOUTHY security guy couldn't control his mouth and commented NOT TO COME BACK.! he actually called us a couple of cheap F----K. Actually we are known as high tippers because we know how hard servers work and make us welcomed. NOT THE CASE HERE.

Best place on Hampton Beach!!! BEST staff ever, especially Carmel !!!! Good food, at a great price.

Favorite restaurant ever. Food is sooo good I literally fell in love with their french fries. Service is fast, and workers are some of the most friendly people that I've ever met. I'm having daydreams about their food. It was super relaxing and quiet. There were amazing singers providing free entertainment, and was overall a wonderful time.

I am a liberal. I like vegetarian or -- GASP -- vegan food. I voted for Obama (twice), and I majored in Women and Gender Studies. I am from Cambridge, MA and live in Boston, MA. I work a corporate job and my mother is Muslim. Every single thing about me at face value makes it seem like I may not belong at a place like Wally's. But let me be clear: Wally's is like home. Wally's makes me feel loved, and like I can be exactly who I am-- and that is the vibe there is for everyone who comes here. Cancer patients? welcome. Conservative Hell's Angel's motorcycle riders. welcome. Liberals and lesbians. welcome. Head covered? welcome. Hippie? welcome. Tattoos all over, or none at all. Doesn't matter- just come. This is a gem of a restaurant; not a changed menu item since they opened but serving solid food, good drinks (did they make mine a double on Saturday), and perfect for your Covid-19 misery to find a place that is open, bumping, and bustling. They have live music every night, are open 365 days a year (yes, Jews are welcome!), and they also serve regular non-paper menus and do not require a mask outside. Some guidance on coming to Wally's: -flush the toilet with your foot -don't bring up the pandemic (WHAT PANDEMIC?) -don't leave here drunk driving/drunk motorcycling -bring a warm hoodie to ride home in if you are on the Harley. -ONLY PARK HERE IF YOU ARE PATRON -tip 25% or more. -don't you dare talk shit about wally's love, Tamara p.s. do you guys host weddings?

No food I never order food again from this shit hole Was told night the minutes wait for a prime rib rem 2 and a 1/2 hours later they tell me it's gonna be another 90 minutes f*** this place

Place is a dump and the staff is full of themselves. Saw Crazy Train last night and band was great but the staff alone will prevent us from ever coming back. Drinks sucked and food was cold and staff unfriendly and rude. I consider this place a one done.

Go there all the time for concerts, and always had a good time. Saturday was the prime rib special so I called and they said they start serving it at 4:00 pm. I got there a few minutes after 4:00 and the rude bartender said they are all out. I looked around and no one was eating prime rib. The lady at the next table said they advertise it to get you in the door and tell you they are all out. Just my experience so I will stick to the concerts.

I don't write reviews on places ever, but I had to create an account in this instance. The staff here has no respect for its customers. I know "the customer is always right" doesn't necessarily need to be followed absolutely precisely, but having the mentality that "the customer is always wrong" is not the right way to go about things. That is the exact mentality at Wally's Pub. The bouncers are rude when you walk in the door and can be heard talking trash about customers while being less than helpful if you ask them any questions. Also they constantly creep on other girls at the bar. The wait staff is also rude and basically just wants to get you in and out. There's no investing in the customer. They just want to get you drunk enough to give away more tips than you consciously would want to. Overall the staff just does not make you feel comfortable or good in any way. It just seems the default way of looking at customers, as the Wally's staff, is that you're a degenerate. Perhaps this is due to the fact that this bar is crawling with trashy people, but the customer base and reputation will never change if you drive away every decent individual.

Tried to have the Tue twin lobster special. Could not get service. The bar was packed and bartenders busy, but no waitstaff. Waited 45 min and even switched table, but never got greeted by anyone.

yeah unfortunately a lot of the negative reviews are spot on. The specials are good but games are played with the drink requirement. I can say the parking is nice.

Best place to get food deals at hampton beach. 10 cent wings on Wednesday are phenomenal. Parmesan wings are my favorite. If you plan on getting their lobster special on Tuesday try to get there early since it is a mad house. There is no hostess or way to put your name in, it's all first come first serve tables. Other than that place is a great biker bar with some amazing food deals. If you are looking for non biker atmosphere the back patio / outside area is cool.

Charged each of us a $20 cover just 5 mins after our two friends arrived and got in without paying a cover. We only stayed for one drink and it was loud and trashy.

Cannot go wrong with a trip to Wally's. Their specials are HUGE and delicious. They have some pay-to-play pool and some nights there is live music. Every time I've had the pleasure to catch the live music I've never been disappointed. They sure know how to find local talent. I've also stopped by during a patriots game. They had a giant projection screen with the game. The people are great. The bar tenders are great. Definitely check them out, even if it's the off season. I've gone many times this winter and every time the place has been busy. Wally's definitely has it figured out.

This place is perfect for an easy Sunday. Lots to see and the bar staff is Awesome. Jax the bartender was so fun!! We come all the time.

From wings, burgers, pizza to drinks or a beer this is where we've had lots of fun. We've gotten to know most of the staff and they are a tight group that can laugh it up but won't take any BS either! Yes it is a biker bar and yes I am a biker but anyone and everyone can go into Wally's. I even brought my 86 yr old mom and 2 yr old niece here for a family reunion to try the10 cent wings and twin lobsters! If you're not so sure then head across the street to The Goat. Weekend Bloody Mary's, Blueberry breakfast shots, French Toast or some Jalapeno bacon wraps. Thanks and shout out to Al and his amazing crew (Jillian, Ashley, Jaime, Audrey, Brittney, Shion, Christina, Amy, April, and the list goes on cuz they all pitch in to make Hampton a fun place in the summer and winter months.

So this is a true biker bar with food so you must be ok with that to start. OnTuesday's they serve lobsters! You can't screw that up so we gave it a try. The 3 star is really for the service which is horrible. And it's a biker bar so not the cleanest place! I can't say if any of the food is any good beyond the lobsters.

I tried to go here with my family after dinner for a few drinks and we got denied at the door even though we were all 21+. We got racially profiled. We just wanted to enjoy the rest of our night. They didn't even have a reason to deny us besides the fact that the guy in the photo told the rest of the workers that we weren't allowed in.

Great place!!! I was there on a Wednesday afternoon and sat outside. It was 10cent wing day and the wings were fantastic. Got the Buffalo style and they were pretty hot lol. Place was clean so was the bathroom, staff and patrons were friendly. Had a great time and would go back again!!

Absolutely love going to Wally's. Been going there for years. Fleury Group has certainly been wonderful to the communities where thier businesses are established. Went recently to Hampton location and was shocked to find domestic bottle prices $6/ea. and $4 for a soda?! WHOA. Disappointed at the steep prices.

Staff is absolutely terrible. Only way you get service (and I use that term loosely) is to sit at the bar. Don't bother

This is nacho chips and cheese with ground Hamburg.? I am eating it cause I am hungry, but this looks disturbing. Where is the salsa.??? Where are the nachos.??? Buried below the government cheese.

Hannah is awesome! Amazing service, great attitude, and really sweet. The drinks are cheap and delicious!!! Definitely recommend!

Food portions & price cannot be beat! Prime Rib deal on Saturday is top notch. To enter you wouldn't think it much more than biker beach bar ( it is, one of the best) yet food is TOP NOTCH! Service is terrific as well. Every staff member I've ever encountered has been attentive, efficient & more than one could ask. This is for the food but, music live or juke box has been excellent as well. Just got $10 TWO footling (well over a foot each) Italian sub real on MLK day. WOW great stuff, meats & bread were great and comes with fries or rings. Ten friggin bucks! Took most of it home. I love this Place will be back often, more once times are more like they were. Keep up the great work!!!

Great food and people are not what you would expect. Mix of cultures here. Had the lobster roll... they are really on the big side.. so great price. Update to my review. Ordered a $10 drink at bar and bar tender short change me. This happened repeatedly throughout the night. I never stopped her.. had a bet going with friends. Most of the people that work here are ok. Just count your change and adjust your tip accordingly.

Allways have a great time at Wallys ! Everyone is always polite .Nice place to hang out . It's our favorite spot on Hampton beach .The food is allways great waitresses and bartenders are very friendly .

My friends and I were very excited to come here but unfortunately I was racially profiled by one of the waitresses on duty on June 21st at 12:45 am. I had already told her I had paid for my tab and she was insisting I didn't pay for my tab even though she wasn't my server and I had the receipt of the tab from my other server. It took the 6 white people from the other table to let her let me walk out the door because it was completely unfounded. That's completely ridiculous and I am definitely not going to recommend this place to my friends or anyone that I know.

Wallys is the BEST! They practically give the place away if you go there on the right day/night. Wednesdays they have wings for 10 cents and you can get an awesome turkey dinner for like 8 bucks on Sunday's too! The portions are great and the food is delicious. They have all kinds of live music all the time too. Sometimes country, sometimes rock, and Dj's for the dance crowd. I know some people think it's still a biker bar. But it really isn't. It's more of a concert hall and food establishment these days. They have all new bouncers who are super friendly and have done a good job keeping the riff raff out of there on the couple occasions where an argument started or something stupid. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!
