I don't usually leave reviews, but after two separate rude experiences with employees at this location, I felt it was worth sharing. For context, I work in customer service myself, and I can honestly say I would never treat a customer -- or anyone -- the way I was treated here.
The first incident happened when I asked a worker for help finding a product (a Bloom drink). When I showed her my phone, she immediately said, "Well which one, I need to see it--" with a rude tone. My phone brightness was low, but her attitude was completely unnecessary. I explained the item wasn't where the app said, and she just snapped, "Well, they're there--" and walked ahead of me like she was irritated. When we got to the shelf and saw it was empty, she just said, "Well we are out." I said thank you, and she didn't even respond -- just walked away.
Then today, I had another encounter. I was walking past the soda aisle and said "excuse me" to an employee -- not because she was in the way, but just to be polite while pushing my cart by. She turned and said, "You could've just--" and stopped mid-sentence. I'm still wondering what exactly I "could've just" done? It felt unnecessarily passive-aggressive and uncalled for.
Again, I work in customer service. I understand how tiring it can be, but basic kindness and respect are never optional. I've never treated a customer the way I was treated here -- twice. It really makes me not want to come back to this location at all.
