We stopped at the Walmart in Dumas while passing through town--it's really one of the few big box options around, so it was a convenient place to grab supplies. The location is easy to find, right off the main highway, and the parking lot had plenty of space.
Inside, the store is pretty standard for a Walmart Supercenter. They had a solid range of products--groceries, clothes, electronics, even an auto center and pharmacy. It's definitely a one-stop shop, which came in handy. That said, some areas looked understocked, especially in the produce section. We also noticed a few expired items on the shelves, which was a bit frustrating.
The staff we interacted with were friendly enough. One associate helped us find some dog food and even offered a suggestion for a nearby place to eat. But when we needed assistance at checkout, it took a while to get someone to the register. It seemed like they were short-staffed or maybe just not well organized.
All in all, it was a mixed bag. You'll probably find what you need, but don't expect top-tier service or perfectly stocked shelves. For a small town, it gets the job done--but with some room for improvement. 3 stars.
