I am actually about to fucking strangle someone. This review is not specific to this particular Walmart location; it is directed to all Walmarts. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY. They don't value they're customers whatsoever. They're online orders are scams, and they're customer service team is total bullshit. Here's the deal:
I placed an online order for a car part to have it shipped to my house. I was SUPER hesitant to order something off Walmarts website considering all that I've heard recently in the news, on social media, and from friends and family about Walmart online orders being scams. But this part was a name brand, and Walmart was one of the only places that had exactly what I needed. So anyways... I ordered it against my better judgement. A few days later, it said that my part had been delivered. I went to check my porch and mailbox and there was nothing. I went back into the app to check the status of my order; it said that my package had, in fact, been delivered....to a guy named William in Anchorage, Alaska. I was like, 'Well shit. That's great and all, but my name's not William, and I live in Michigan, not Alaska.' I verified that I had entered in the right shipping address (and i had). So I was like, 'Ok. This sucks. But I'm sure they can refund me.' So I called their customer support line and, after waiting on a VERY long hold, finally got to speak with a representative. She was decently polite and offered my a coupon to spend $25 and get $10 or something like that. I was like, "Well yeah that's awesome but I really just need my money back." She explained to me that when packages are delivered to the wrong location, they can't be refunded until 48hrs after the initial delivery time. This is obviously stupid because there's no way a package from Alaska is going to magically appear one day on my front porch in Michigan, but I knew that this was beyond the representative's control and so I thanked her for her help and went back to my own business. Now here's what really irks me. The package was 'delivered' on Wednesday at 4:30pm, so 48hrs later would be Friday at 4:30pm. So anyways, I called back to the customer service line at that time. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes, I spoke to a less-than-pleasant representative that told me she couldn't refund my order because it hadn't been 48hrs (even though it had been well past that point). I tried explaining that to her but she continued to insist that she couldn't refund my order until Saturday at 8pm. Great. Because sitting around the house on hold for a customer service line is exactly how I want to spend my Saturday night. At this point, I'm not even sure if Walmart is ever going to refund my order.
Bottom Line: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS. Everything you've seen about it being a scam is 100% accurate. You're never going to get your stuff and, from the looks of it, you may never get your money back either. Save yourself the headache by shopping elsewhere.
