Man, store associate Robert went above and beyond. We were looking for a computer chair that showed in stock that wasn’t out on the floor. Multiple employees we spoke with and everyone was saying they couldn’t check. Made contact with Robert after 30 minutes and within 5 minutes he had the chair I was looking for to me. Robert appreciate you again man.

Out of some items I was looking for — the Walmart associate pushing carts around filling orders are not courteous at all they block isles with their carts and when you ask to get by it’s a big hassle for them I asked one associate where was this item he didn’t know .. guess they hire people but don’t train how to be helpful and courteous towards customers don’t block the isles others need to get down that isle as well ran over to HEB and got what I needed since couldn’t find it at Walmart’s

This is my favorite store for all around shopping. I will NEVER shop anywhere else. Not only are the prices affordable and convenient for those of us with a family or those with low or minimum income, the food is always fresh and you can't beat purchasing your everyday items for a lower competitive price than you would elsewhere but the employees are the BEST! ASHLEY deserves a raise for how she handles the concerns and needs of the customers. I'm shocked at how this Walmart is ran. Stop shopping at target and Amazon, Walmart is the better of the 2. It's like a mix. They also have pick up and a delivery option. You can shop online and get their best deals especially on their rollback items! Or their black Friday deals. I am forever a loyal customer since being an adult and being a parent, having my own family. Thank you Walmart! There's more to say but I wouldn't have enough room to type it all! Walmart gets ten stars from me! JUST TO ADD: If you purchase a phone from straightalk, you get a free Walmart+ membership wich offers a waved delivery free with any delivery purchases equalling over $35 or more. Absolute disaster area! Clearly, the overnight crew took the night off. Produce in the aisles getting warm withno one stocking. Clearly no one stocked the shelves in the entire store overnight. What a mess the store was at 7 AM this morning 7/7/25. As a Walmart associate, it’s embarrassing to me!

If I could leave no stars I would. I placed a online order for pick up because I just had back surgery and bending to grab things is a bit rough. So I get notified that 6 of my items are unavailable, I didn't like the items they wanted to replace them with so when I got to the store decided to go in and find items to replace the UNAVAILABLE items. As I was driving to the store I got a message saying my order was ready for pick up. So I waited till I got into the store and replied on my way. I didn't make it around the corner before they were calling me saying the see im at the store but they don't show the stall number umm excuse me, how do u know im here when I replied on my way. I explained to the guy I was in the store grabbing a few things and I would put in my stall number when I was checking out. I go to get my replacement items only to find 5 of the 6 items they claimed were unavailable were actually in stock! Bacon, 2 rolls of sausage and 2 gallons of tea were all on the shelf. That in itself pissed me off. As I checked out I went to put my stall number in to find my order showed picked up. So I called the number they called me from. I told the girl that it showed my order picked up and she got my name and says my order will be out shortly that they have it. We'll I would hope so because I sure didn't have it yet, I also tried to explain to her abt my unavailable items being in stock and all she kept saying was ok sir we have your order. First off she asked my name and its definitely not a man's name I corrected her and she still kept doing it, I finally called her an idiot. If I didn't have to have certain things from Walmart I would never go again.

Walmart is a go to when traveling like we do. As full time tourists it’s easy to find what is needed and quickly. The Walmart in Lufkin was clean, well stocked (wanted Milo’s no sweet oftentimes not available at every location- especially out of the south). Left with some shorts and a smile. Staff was friendly. Would have had a 5 Star rating, but the restroom wasn’t really clean. Of course we will go back!

Let me say something rite quick. If you stop by to do a oil change and did not have a problem with your vehicle. Now as I was watering my plants my room mate went to pick up a pizza and just to find out it's leaking oil...... If you cant do a oil change why put hands on it poor service..... Definitely y'all going to hear from my lawyer tomorrow this is ridiculous service I didn't have time id not I would have done it myself!!!!!!!!!

My experience in this Walmart has always been fairly good. Customer service is pretty good. The employees help you out whenever you don't know where something's at. I recommend it.

Not to be confused with Wheelmart, which sells nothing but wheels. This place sells all kinds of car parts and other things, kind of everything really. Of course it's not a very good place to shop because it's a Walmart, and there's a lot of problems with it, and the employees are one of the main problems, but that can be said about almost any Walmart store. Altogether it's great that Lufkin has it, and it's always very busy, and there's a good reason for that because the prices are bargain basement, and even though you can't always find stuff like I said, it's good to have it here... even though it's an evil empire.

Usually have what I need and convenient hours changed to close at 11 but I just go a little earlier than I use to

It is probably a place where you need to go get something today, but sometimes they don't have it in either. Too many people in here. Merchandise should be checked before you leave for missing parts.

I am considering boycotting the Walmart in Lufkin Texas. Every time I go there I see empty shelves, shelves in disarray, and unhelpful employees. For instance I was there yesterday needing buttermilk. I use full fat buttermilk for cooking and the entire shelf inventory consisted of one carton of low fat buttermilk. I don't see this at the other stores in Lufkin. Don't be surprised if this store closes.

Tried to do a return and the "manager" Yolanda looked like she was high on drugs and couldn't complete the transaction. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I can't even give it a part of a star for customer service. I have literally stood at the service center and dialed the store number to see if anyone would pick up the phone to help me. There where three people talking and laughing but no one bothered answering the phone even after I hung up several times and called back. This is really sorry.

The online pick up department, and staff are the best thing Lufkin has to offer! 10/10 highly recommended.

Placed order around noon on Monday for 8pm delivery. Got an email saying it would be delayed. It's 6pm Tuesday and STILL no delivery. I've tried to call the store several times and no one will answer the phone. Horrible customer relations and management at this location. You should be ashamed

I have to laugh at some reviews commenting on other customers. Personally I have never had poor customer service and found all the employees are approachable, some more knowledgeable than others. The employees are hard working people under a corporate billion dollar thumb , and aren't paid nearly their worth. The store, itself when I shop is cleaner than not with the exceptions of the bathrooms. Thank you. And to all who think "rude" or "red neck @s* ho..." look in the mirror on one of your bad days and smile!

I shop at a lot of Walmarts and this is one of the worst. In the first place, Lufkin needs a second Walmart. This one hasn't been able to keep up with the areas demand. The shelves are always low, and don't even get me started on the parking.

We had the greatest assistance today at the Lufkin, TX Walmart Super Center in the photo center. Shelley, the employee that assisted us, went way beyond any help that we anticipated. My husband had found old photos of his family from 50 years ago and wanted to share with his sisters, their families, and his adult children. Shelly got the scanner going, showed us how to operate, and returned every minute or so to see if we needed help. In short time, she had helped us scan about a dozen old photos and then edited, lightened, and helped us print the total number we needed. We both thanked and praised her, but wanted her manager to know what an asset she is to the department and the Lufkin store. Throughout this entire process, her attitude was friendly, professional, helpful. A big "thank you" to Shelley! Jan H.

When I go to grab groceries for supper, it's usually not that bad. I got home to make supper and my honey mustard was a month out of date. How hard is it to rotate products? I should not have to be checking expiration dates when it's on YOUR shelf.

Very good service but when it comes to pickup orders they definitely need more help, a lot of ppl waited an hour long for an order you make a whole day prior. That kinda sucks and I think they should prioritize pickup orders specially right now

We shop at this WalMart when in Lufkin. As we like it better then Livingston where we live. But when shopping there on 5/25/18, we had a bad experience. First our check our lady was just not friendly, never said a thing, even when I said Hi. I had given her our slip from the loose change that we brought in. Well, I thought she subtracted it from out grocery bill. We got home and I thought to check........No SHE did not!!!! It was only $7 and some change BUT still it was ours!!!! I just could not believe it!!!! So heads up ppl~~~

The pharmacy staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially Ms. Massive. My experience was excellent.

I just spoke to an associate from electronics about issues I had with my photos. She interrupted me several times, was incredibly rude and blunt. I asked reasonable questions but those were answered with attitude. I hope someone writes her up or fires her because she does not need to work with the general public. Stay your ass at home if you can't talk on the phone politely.

This Walmart isn't as bad as I'd heard. It was laid out pretty well and was very clean. I also noticed signs on the check-out line advocating people text a certain number if they were behind more than 2 paying customers. Thankfully we weren't, but it was appreciated! I needed a particular gift in the automotive department, and they had 4 in stock, and all the boxes were absolutely smashed, to the point I couldn't believe they even put them on the shelves. I asked for a discount on them, but no go. For a Sunday in December, plenty of parking and not overly crowded.

I love the store in general. I don't drive so I get dropped off early around 6:30 am and my boyfriend picks me up around 5 pm. I roam throughout the store and I sometimes lose track of time because I get like a kid in a candy store and want everything. However when it comes to the fresh vegetables and deli I have had nothing and I mean nothing but problems. I love salads, I have a bearded dragon who loves her leafy greens and my boyfriend loves his sandwiches for lunch. Here's the problem the fresh salad greens usually are rotten in two days, twice I bought 3lbs of onions and you have to sift through them at the store because they usually are rotten ones in the bags. The produce is bad before you even get home and that's very depressin, especially now with the prices sky high and I am on fixed income with only $61 from SNAP a month. Last time I bought a lb of Swiss cheese at the deli and it had to have been past due because it tasted and looked like parmesan. They dont know how to slice meat thickness, one time I bought a lb of ham and I got about 9 slices, we like our meat and cheeses thin. All in all I wish I drove so I could go to H‑E‑B for my groceries and staples because they are fresher and cheaper. but everything else at Walmart. But I must say I find the staff to be extremely helpful and very friendly. Thank you

I'll admit that I'm generally not a big fan of Walmart and visiting this location reminds me even more why I'm not a fan. Pulling into the parking lot and greeted by multiple cop cars and a bunch of people standing around watching on. Inside the store, I generally found shelves to be disheveled and floors a bit dirty. Then when we needed to find someone to help us locate a item, no one could be found. No thanks Walmart...this is why I shop at Target.

It seems that every time I come here, they are out of everything I need! I am met with an empty shelf and an employee who knows nothing about any item I am trying to find. Also, in the busiest time of day Walmart loves to have to about 2 cash registers open and that's it! Lines are backed up and it takes forever to get out of there! I just try to stick with HEB as much as possible!!

I try to buy my dog food and treats at Lufkin wa!mart but they are either out of one of the other and sometimes both. This is frustrating and ridiculous and now I will find another place to purchase ALL my grocery and let items.

Still new enough to the town to be learning where to go and where NOT to go. The Wal Mart is certainly on the NOT list. Unbelievably long lines every time I have gone in. Rude employees if you can find one and just a general unkempt dirty feeling to the store. Now let's add that I have met the nicest people in this town UNTIL I drive into the WM parking lot. I am beginning to believe that people lose 10 IQ points and all their manners as soon as they pass the row of restaraunts. Today's adventure included not one but two different people driving UP the DOWN lanes...come on people they aren't that wide! Would love to see those Christian attitudes carry over into Wal Mart too!

This place is a train wreck. More often than not the staff is border line rude, would rather tell you they don't have it than help you find it. Ill walk two aisles down and find what I'm looking for. Not enough handicap parking. I leave with frayed nerves every time I shop there. The customers are so self involved being rude becomes first nature to them. Place is always cluttered. On the plus side the lady running sports and leisure was the exception.

Being friendly to customers goes a long ways and I enjoy giving good reports for fast and friendly service but at the same-time an unkind person needs recognition as well. I spoke with Asst Manager Glenn and called to make sure he spoke to GM Patrick over the Rudeness of Department manager Tami in fabric who should be given a course on being kind, courtesy & how to be friendly and treat customers with respect!! Definitely not a people person just plain Rude! Every time I go to this department she acts like she hates her job and hates waiting on customers. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced this type of treatment from her but I had finally had enough and complained after not only treating me that way but watching her treat 3 other customers the same way. This Is Not Ok!

Hey Guys , if your thinking of going to walmart getting family mobile think again ! I tried their so-call budget mobile and its a ripoff ! You will get the talk and text unlimited for $45 per month but a month in their book is not 30 days . picture messages is extra, sms messages is extra , and they flood your phone with ads and unwanted offers . Trust me on this one our better off going thru the provider .

Always 60 people in line to check out with only a couple cashiers open. Just about every time I go I see the cops there. One time a lady got kidnapped in the parking lot but the kidnapper changed his mind and left her there. No joke

As far as Wal-Mart Super Centers go, this is just as unremarkable as any other (which is actually the point, so job well done to Wal-Mart). It has all the things that individual stores in any small town in America would provide, except that Wal-Mart through sheer size and power has out-leveraged those places with cheap Asian products for the most part. Congratulations, rural America, you're robbing Peter to pay Chinese Paul.

Okeechobee walmart.. The shelves are always empty. There are no employees to help you. Do they no longer have a night shift???It use to be their job to empty the truck and put the stock away. Our store is in terrible shape.

This is the typical Walmart experience. I had my oil changed there a while back. The man who checked my vehicle in was terribly rude and hateful. The oil change took over an hour longer that what I was told when I dropped it off. This was annoying because I had bought groceries and had to just sit there while all my cold items got warm. The service department had closed by the time my vehicle was done and lucky for me 1 service worker and cashier stuck around. They were both bery friendly and made the aweful experience a little better by being nice. Overall, I hate this Walmart and will never go back.

All Walmarts are poorly run. To many registers and not enough cashiers working. Nobody wants to do the self checkout. The people that are supposed to help you just stare at you as if you are going to steal from them. 20 items or less lines are a joke. And what's up with the tobacco line. I hate Walmart. The meat is never fresh. Workers are always rude. They want to be there just as much as you do. Which is none. This business is trash.
