Walmart Supercenter

Big and busy supercenter. I shopped groceries, finding many items mot seen in other Walmart stores. Nice diversity of cultures, foods and variety of items to shop. The gas station had better prices than Sam's Club.

Found everything that I needed with no issues. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking lot was clean and well maintained. Buggy’s were neat and orderly. All products were zoned and faced properly.

Drove my truck all the way down from Michigan. Ran perfectly fine the entire time. Went to get an oil change at this Walmart, they drove my truck into the bay, did the oil change, checked the oil pressure, everything was fine, turned off the truck to finish service, and then my truck no longer started. We sat there for over an hour tryin to fix it then we finally pushed it out of the bay and into a spot. When we went back that same night because we forgot a couple things in the truck, my husband went under the truck and found that the starter sensor had been unclipped, he clicked it back into place, (which came with a nice loud click sound) I tried to start the truck and it started right up. There’s no way it became un clipped on its own.

Just a quick stop at this Walmart yesterday in Meridian, Mississippi. We live in Thomasville Alabama and need to come to Meridian for doctors appointments. I checked their inventory online before I came and noticed they had a yogurt that I like for taking my medication so we stopped by. This Walmart was clean, well stocked and employees were very friendly. It was a quick stop, but we enjoyed it very much.

Edit: Today I went to this Walmart once again and I have to say while I didn't have high hopes I was pleasantly surprised. I had several coupons and I went to the customer service desk and the young lady there helped me without any issues. She was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. I would definitely deal with her again.

Pretty good Walmart but was very busy. Took 10 minutes to get into the parking lot and park. But, it was on Christmas Eve.

Employees are generally not helpful. Customervservice and electronics close way earlier than the actual store does so if u need to run in and buy a cell phone or something and it's late good luck finding someone to unlock it for you. They sold me the wrong sim card once too.

Visiting from Switzerland, our only second Walmart experience. It's always fun seeing how basic living is carried out in other countries. I found a very nice shirt Definite plus - Guinness is cheaper here than at home Mild minus - no decent wine

It's a Walmart. Not sure what exactly someone may be expecting when coming to one of two Walmarts in a small town, but it is what it is. I found what I needed in here, although it is by no means the best Walmart I've been in. I did not check out the food selection here as I was really just coming in for some storage and personal items, but I thought the selection of what I came in for what satisfactory. The personal care section is quite vast with a decent selection of products (especially what I was looking for). Furthermore, I saw someone else write a review about how dirty this Walmart was, but I didn't find it particularly dirty, however, again, this is nowhere near the best location I have visited, and prefer Target, to be honest!

You can always rely on Wal-Mart to have almost everything you need in a one-stop shop. I have found Wal-Mart to have reasonable prices on feminine and intimacy products, nutrition supplements, men's t-shirts, kids sweats, baby items, automotive detailing supplies, some athletic and sports apparel, and gas. This Meridian Walmart is clean and has very friendly and hospitable employees. I have never experienced long lines and their express check out lanes are always working and open during high peak times. There is a McDonald's and a hair salon that offers services during their individual scheduled business hours. Gas is the main reason I stop when traveling 3 cents off of a gallon is a great deal; especially when your car takes 93 Octane.

I always do my best to manage my expectations, but my experience at this Walmart is unacceptable. The employees are not the most customer friendly which is disappointing, but I can't imagine the company takes care of their employees well. What I found unacceptable was the yogurt bar I literally spit it out on the floor of the store I was in. When I took a closer look, I saw it was moldy and then I saw the expiration date of 7/24/22. I tried eating this an hour after purchasing on 9/3/22. I can forgive a few days. Maybe a week. Over a month? Absolutely not. No. I do not live near this store and the bar was inexpensive so I wasn't really worried about getting a return on my dollar fifty. I called to inform them before anyone else might buy the others. No one picked up. I waited. Nothing. Unbelievable. This isn't a dent in the packaging or faulty parts in an electronic. This is food that people will be consuming. This store needs to consider hiring more employees so this stuff doesn't get overlooked and stop cutting corners at the detriment of their customers to save costs as if they are hurting for money. I want to note that the product brand, Clio is great. They are not at fault for Walmart neglecting the expiration date of their product.

Clean and well stocked. Found what I was looking for. Friendly staff. Yelp wants me to say more but it's a walmart so I feel I have covered it all.

This is the filthiest Walmart I think I've ever been in. Nasty, nasty and more nasty. The store had garbage all over the place from the front entrance throughout the entire store. The parking lot was also filthy. There were dead flies in the butter and milk section, groceries that customers had dropped in various locations also add to the disaster. I would say this store is not being monitored or attended too. STAY AWAY!

All I needed was gas. Just let me tell you what car I am and then get my gas and go Not only did the gas pump lady get my pump wrong and probably give someone 20 bucks of free gas, she couldn't even get my pump to work. A lady had just gotten her gas there too. Instead of getting me my gas, she hands me a 20 dollar bill without a single word. Super rude. Tl:dr lady was super rude and didn't want to help me get the gas I was paying for. She rushed me out by just handing me my money back.

So I came in here this morning to do some shopping everything went great until I went to the check out while the cashier Annie was helping out the customer in front of me. I removed coupons off of to items. When it came to my turn I handed the coupons to the cashier and she fussed at me saying that I had no business removing the coupons off the items now she doesn't know if I got the right items and I explained to her I did it right there at the the register and I've done it before and there's never been an issue. She then proceeded to yell at me and berate me. Then she started slamming things down in the bags she dented several of my can goods. Then Annie yelled at the guy behind me because he hadn't emptied his basket yet is so she told him either put your items on the can belt or get out of my line. Annie is either having a bad morning or she is now a people person either way she should not be working a register. I went to customer service and I told them that they need to have a sit down with her because that kind of behavior is not acceptable.

Overall this Wal-Mart does a pretty good job of keeping the shelves stocked and having adequate clerks for check-out. Problems noted the times I have been is loose buggies all over the lot and clerks that act bored to be there. Today I had nine carts around my car when I came out.

I'm not one to write bad reviews... but yesterday I went to buy a pair of gold or sterling silver earring studs. These are locked up in cases. I tried to pick a pair out, the locks wouldn't work in that case door. So I looked again, next door wouldn't work. This happened 5 times!!! Now, let me add, the two ladies that tried to help me were wonderful. They tried every key they had, they took turns trying to get them unlocked. One lady went as far as to unlock a drawer where extra inventory is stored to see if there was a pair in there that would work for me. In the end, I had to go to Claire's. My fault is to with the two ladies who did their best but with the crappy displays and the lack of proper working locks!!! It's pitiful how mismanaged and unkept this store is, a Dollar General store is managed better than this and I didn't think it could get any worse then the local Dollar Generals around here!

Love shopping here. Very clean and the associates are helpful and nice. Easy in and out parking lot.

Very very hard to find even w map. Needed Med supply and they helped my mother! A plus. Had to ask 3 people how to get here. Not good for out of state peeps traveling. No signs what so ever to say "this way". Not the greatest parking lot. Be careful

This is the nearest Walmart to me . Its convenient & I always find what Im looking for . Its big & a clean store . Its my one stop shopping .

dirtiest Walmart I've ever been to. The market inside sells outdated food, wrapped, without what's advertised. It's bathrooms are disgusting, and the workers obviously don't know the first thing about zoning. Someone seriously needs to do something about this place. They're CFF score must be the lowest in the nation.

Seriously management need to be aware of what's going on here. At 0900 pm on 12/30/2017 toke me 40 min just to check out because they don't care about us??? Unreal I don't think they are aware that they are here because WE shop here.
