"A new restaurant from the folks behind The Oystermen in Covent Garden, Walter’s will be a homely-feeling neighbourhood restaurant in Dulwich. Expect plenty of fish on the menu as well as big sharing pies and a selection of British grapes to drink. Until then try: Parsons, Llewellyn’s We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Brilliant night! Nice to have good food with real people. Loris, Connor and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make our night superb. The food was extremely well planned and cooked, some of the menu was at first glance rather weird (to My imagination) however everything had sublime tastes, nuances and flavour combinations. The bread was warm and crusty, the butter was sublime! (I will not give away the taste)! The starters were tasty and full of flavour, there are some specials in limited quantities (when they have gone there gone) The main courses are limited but OMG the quality and imagination in these dishes is brilliant! Deserts are also limited but again do not be put off by Stilton in a desert! The wine list is quite extensive and the bar is very well stocked! All in all we have had a wonderful night and good food, good service!

Food was incredible. We start with an aperol spritz and olives, then truffle arancini (we had twice they were so yummy) and tempura cauliflower. Our main mussel and ox cheek were paired with a bottle of Primitivo. And the end of our lunch we still have some wine left so we went for a Stilton mousse, really delicate and perfect to finish our wine. As a cherry on the cake, we had the caramel parfait with cherry espresso martini. The service was great, thank you Connor. And I would like to criticise only 1 think - eye to details, most of the menu were dirty! This is part of your reflection, but highly recommended. Good luck with the grand opening.

This is a delightful place to eat, relax and enjoy a dining experience. The food is delicious - I started with Jerusalem artichoke soup and went on to orzo squash risotto with a slow cooked duck egg. We teamed it with a wonderful Gusbourne wine. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly , which all made for a great lunch. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

A very good unhurried lunch. Met with a friend who lives locally and decided to try Walter's on the strength of a very good review by Jay Rayner last weekend. Although quite busy it was good to be able to have a relaxed conversation without having to shout over loud music. The music played was loud enough to hear but not intrusive and was an eclectic mix, well chosen for a very mixed clientele. Shared vegan n'duja mussels and had excellent and generous portion of chicken schnitzel with sauerkraut and mustard mayo. Wine by the glass was excellent though pricey. Beer and snacks whilst we waited for the table. Friendly and accommodating staff.

A delightful spot. The staff were kind and professional. Cocktails and small plates were clearly made with pride. Cocktails were well-balanced and fresh ingredients shine in the meal. A welcoming atmosphere and pretty aesthetic rounds it out.

Great staff, tasty food, very competitively priced local beers and were accommodating for a vegan. The photo shows the menu shared back to show what they could veganize :)

Really nice modern food restaurant. West Dulwich has been waiting a long time for a place like this. I had the scotch egg and the aubergine dip and it was delicious. Will be taking the family back for a full meal.

A superb meal in a lovely setting. Good food and excellent wine with a specially crafted dessert.
