Good authentic German fare. Service was sweet but not quite as available as you would like. I thought everything was delicious, thou some complained that the schnitzel was a little on the sweet side. Nice atmosphere. Good for date or family outing.

A great little gem in SF with the East German experience. The food is so good here, we always have a great meal. Good vegetarian choices also. I tried the veggie schnitzel tonight and it was delicious.

Love this restaurant! Been there twice in 2 months because it’s that good. The head waiter is so friendly and nice, service is impeccable and the food is just delicious. What I especially enjoy is the decor... simple yet cleverly curated. The chicken schnitzel and the sausage are amazing, and so is the pretzel!

Where do I begin?! Incredible dining experience with authentic German fare from start to end. The restaurant hosted a group of 8 friends and I, on late notice, and gave us the entire back room to ourselves. The pitchers of delicious german beer were flowing, perfect schnitzel was eaten, and singalongs were had. One of the owners kept checking in on our table, recommending dishes, and even brought us Underberg to polish off the meal. So happy to have such a wonderful, close knit, delicious restaurant in the Mission neighborhood. Food was top notch and service even better. Thank you!

This is definitely authentic eastern German food. Try the Soljanka, the cold cut platter, Roulade and Kalter Hund for desert.

Authentic German food. I used to live in Berlin. When I miss German atmosphere, I go to this restaurant. Great food and people working there is friendly. It's lively in a good way. I love this place.

I love German food so I was happy to spot this place on the map. We had the Hering, Soljanka and the Rinderroulade, all very tasty, but the cherry on top was the Apfelstrudel! So so so lecker! 😋
