Ever since I stumbled across them on a whim and kept up with the shipping orders during the pandemic, this is one of my all time favorite ice cream shops. Wanderlust is the epitome of creating flavors centered around travel and they do not disappoint. Majority of the flavors are year round and there’s usually about 5 that’s monthly specials. More often than not, the flavors are unique and hard to find elsewhere. For this visit, I went with split single scoops of the chai churros and malai milk and pandan rafaello. The spiced churro pieces reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and paired well with the milkiness of the flavor. I also like texture and crunch and the pandan was perfect with almond and shredded coconut. There’s also a unique ube cone people should try at least once in their life! Also, this location is on the smaller size so it’s more of a take out spot.

I was at first deterred by others reviews but I pressed on, and it was 100% worth it. Got to sample a ton since I couldn’t make up my mind with all the creative flavors and the texture + flavor combo knocked it out of the park. Must try the Buontalenti if around - 100/10 flavor.

Google
I’ll start off by saying that these are the most unique flavors to come across, so if you’re picky, this won’t be the spot for you, but if you’re wanting to find your newest craving this could be it! After reading all of them we ended up picking , abuelita malted crunch and risalamande. Two completely different flavors but they were both super yummy, Definitely hits the tastebuds different.

This ice cream shop has innovative flavors from all over the world, It's basically a learning experience about other cultures through ice cream. There are so many unique flavors on the menu and they also have six seasonal flavors that rotate monthly so there is always a reason to go back and something new to try. My favorite flavor is the Vietnamese Rocky Road with Vietnamese Coffee in it, but they also have other interesting flavors like Ube Malted Crunch, Pandan Tres Leches & Japanese Neapolitan. The employees were welcoming, friendly, and patient allowing us to sample and take our time despite the customers waiting in line behind us. It's definitely worth a visit when in Costa Mesa, and it's in the same shopping plaza as Anjin, my favorite Japanese BBQ spot.

Super creamy and exotic flavors. Not the place for your "usual" options, but if you're an ice cream lover that enjoys something a little different, this is the place for you. Well decorated, pleasant employees, and unending samples. I had a riff on Rocky Road and Vietnamese Coffee. Did not disappoint. Word to the wise... large portions are unnecessary.

Google
I was excited that Wanderlust Creamery opened up a location in Costa Mesa, but I left feeling disappointed. Half of the flavors were melted and looked unappealing. I tried one of the seasonal flavors and while good, the $7 price tag and small scoop aren't a good value. The shop itself didn't feel like the kind of place where you stay to hang out, so I ate in my car. There's plenty of parking because it's in a plaza. I appreciate the unique flavors they create, but I won't be back.

Google
Delicious with such creative flavors inspired by travel! For those who want to explore with your taste buds through ice cream. If you aren’t as adventurous, no need to worry they offer some familiar flavors like wanderlust vanilla inspired by all over the globe. Grass fed custard ice cream with vanilla beans from Mexico, Madagascar, Uganda & Indonesia. So amazing the quality of ice cream they offer even in something as simple as vanilla. Don’t be afraid to explore the unique flavors like Pandan Tres Leches (Sweet cream with pandan sponge cake with swirls of condensed milk), Vietnamese Rocky Road (Viet coffee with condensed milk marshmallow + cacao nibs & french roast bits) & Japanese Neapolitan (Matcha, Sakura- Cherry Blossom  & Hokkaido milk) . Best part is they have new seasonal flavors every month. I’m already hooked on their signature flavors, and now have me hooked with Ganisto Oaxaqueno this month. A popular mexican treat in ice cream form. My husband was intrigued and needed to try this. It definitely did not disappoint. The staff offers samples for those who are curious before you commit. (Unlimited samples) Appreciate that since there are so many unique flavors. Jennifer and Julina are so welcoming and so knowledgeable. Definitely made our first experience here a memorable one. Overall, this place captures my family’s heart for our favorite ice cream shop! We’re definitely coming back. If you’re reading this please give this place a try, trust you won’t be disappointed.

Service was great, parking was easy. I appreciate the idea of all the fun flavors they have but I wish the vegan options were as up to par as the non-vegan options. I was only left with two non-dairy options (lime and strawberry?), got half a scoop of each, took two bites and did not finish the rest, too sweet, too melty, not good. I hope they introduce more creamy and well balanced nondairy flavors in the future.

Dan P.

Yelp
I got the split single scoop ($7.50): - Mango sticky rice: tasted just like an icy, sweet sticky rice porridge, with bits of fresh mango adding a tart contrast to balance the coconut richness. - Gaz (a seasonal flavor): super creamy with subtle rose notes. I really loved the pistachio bits that adds extra crunch and a deeper roasted nuttiness. There is a bit of a wait as you are allowed to sample as much flavors as you want to. Love how there's so many unique flavors, with new seasonal flavors each month! Easy and free parking. Staff friendly :D

Yelp
This has been my new favorite ice cream shop in Socal since they started opening physical locations several years ago. Wanderlust Creamery has been making unique travel-inspired ice cream flavors every since they started out as a popup at the local markets before blowing up in popularity! They have new seasonal flavors every month with a core selection of delicious flavors that they became famous for. There are plenty of unique flavors here to sample and you can try all of them if you want. Service is friendly and the staff are welcoming when you come in. I I recommend getting the tasting trio so you can get 3 different flavors. Some of my favorites include the classic Ube Malted Crunch, Hokey Pokey, and Pandan Tres Leches. The current seasonal flavors which I got on my visit last night were delicious and I loved how they were inspired by Lunar New Year. My favorite of the three I got was the Ispahan which is lychee ice cream mixed with rose infused raspberry chocolate! The Oolong Pineapple Cake & Almond Cookie and Jasmine Osmanthus were also quite good! The store is brightly lit and it's easy to get photos of your ice cream before you dig in. I highly recommend this spot if you are a fan of ice cream and want to taste flavors that you have never had before! They also have sorbet options and vegan flavors for those that are lactose intolerant or have other allergies!

Yelp
*Mind Blown* This place has to be my new favorite ice cream place whenever in socal, but please come to NorCal (lol). If you're a salt and straw type of person, this place is for--the twist is that this place has Asian flavors. We were all mind blown on their flavors. If we weren't traveling from far away we would've ordered a few pints. One of our favorites was their monthly special, "Milky". Definitely recommend this place! It was so so delicious!

Erica T.

Yelp
My friend and I went here since it was near the airport and I was gonna drop her off. Neither one of us has been here, the theme of traveling was fitting lol. I had the whiskey ice cream in a shake and she had 3 flavors in a cup. The place is well decorated and extremely clean, the customer service was fantastic and the flavors delicious. Highly recommended

Gail P.

Yelp
We got the smoky road, wanderlust vanilla, and sakura crunch. The flavors were inspired by travel and the names are pretty but I don't know about these $7.50 scoops. I guess I'm a bit more in to Salt and Straw flavors and quantity. Though it's not to say I wouldn't be back to try more flavors. I sampled a few but ended up with the chocolatiest one. It was kinda underwhelming. I wanted to love it so I'll try another visit in the future.

Taylor T.

Yelp
I love the interesting flavors of all the different ice creams you can try! The staff let us sample anything and everything we wanted, which I thought was nice so we could make the best choice. I believe they rotate their flavors out, so you'll always get to experience something new! I like getting their single split scoop because I can get 2 flavors for only like 50 cents more than just one scoop. Such a deal and a treat!

Michelle N.

Yelp
You can never go wrong with ice cream! I got a Single Scoop Vietnamese Rocky Road and shared it with my boyfriend. It wasn't too sweet and also creamy! There are a lot of unique flavors here that I got to sample too. Would definitely have to come back to try it.

Olivia H.

Yelp
This travel themed Filipino owned ice cream chain is my ultimate favorite. Every month, they release new and interesting flavors. I'm always excited to try their new flavors, but I also love their staples. My favorite flavor is passionfruit cacao. I typically order their "split single" with passionfruit and one of their monthly seasonal flavors. The employees at this location are always super nice and willing to let me try all the flavors. I never have a problem finding parking as long as I don't go during peak dinner hours on weekends.

Jocelyn E.

After reading all of them we ended up picking , abuelita malted crunch and risalamande. Two completely different flavors but they were both super yummy, Definitely hits the tastebuds different. I this place has always caught my eye when I would be eating at Anjin, glad to have finally tried it.

Julie N.

Yelp
We had a craving for ice cream on a cold winter night (SoCal standards) and stopped by Wanderlust for the first time. We ordered a single scoop and they allowed us to pick 2 flavors, so we had one with sesame and Japanese neopolitan. It was delicious and we can't wait to try the other flavors.

Jessica G.

Yelp
Wanderlust is my favoriteeee ice cream place in socal and I always make sure to visit when I'm in the area. I hadn't yet been to this location so I wanted to check it out. Like all other Wanderlusts, they've got all the amazing flavors, both signature and seasonal. If you need recommendations, you can't go wrong with their ube malt crunch or mango sticky rice. This time I also tried their hokey pokey, which I enjoyed because of the milk chocolate covered honey comb, and vietnamese rocky road, which might be my new fave (coffee ice cream with condensed milk marshmallow and cacao nibs). This location isn't huge but it's meant to be takeout ice cream anyway. They don't have any tables inside, but they do have some high top counter space for standing room only. They also have a bench right outside if you want to hang out. Lots of parking since it's part of a plaza. Plus excellent and efficient customer service. Extra bonus - they have a gumball machine of lactaid chocolate to help everyone feel included lol.

Cat N.

Yelp
Wanderlust is known for their unique Signature flavors but they also carry Seasonal flavors as well. Since they opened I have been wanting to try this place. I came here with one other person after lunch. I love that they were very cool with sampling. They had flavors you can't find at some ice cream shops, such as Thai Tea + Boba, Black Seasame Cookies & Cream, and Pandan Tres Leche. And they have an ube cone option. I got their Ube Malted Crunch which was an ube ice cream with large malt balls in it. I got it on an ube cone and it was really good. I also tried their Vietnamese Rocky Road which was really good. I recommend it if you like coffee ice cream. The girl behind the counter was really nice and patient. She was the only one working and there was a line that weekend. We got in and out pretty quickly though. Wanderlust has some standing tables for you to enjoy and go. The inside is cute. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area and want some ice cream.

Katie T.

Yelp
I've made the trip all the way from Orange County all the way to the depths of East LA when there wasn't any locations in Irvine or Costa Mesa. So you know the ice cream is worth it! Their staple flavors are all so unique and have a twist from flavors all over the world. Their monthly rotating flavors will keep you coming back to try them before they're gone. All of their ice creams are rich and creamy (not icy at all). My go-tos are the ube malt crunch, pandan tres leches, mango sticky rice, and Japanese Neapolitan. The staff is always friendly and you can sample as many favors as you'd like before deciding what you want. I'm glad they have locations in OC and hope they continue to expand

Robert B.

Yelp
OMG, lucky CM!!! My son used to drive up Hollywood to get us this ice cream, three years ago we all got it for Christmas presents. I was in this center last week and to my surprise we have one here in CM?!? We walked in with 11 folks and the young lady didnt bat an eye, knocked that line out with a smile. Small lil shop packed with flavor, the assortment is amazing and all four generations we walked in with found something to love. Dont miss out on the most amazing ice cream out there, check them out today. They are card only, but that is pretty much the normal in the area.

Lauren A.

Yelp
Wanted to try out a new ice cream spot and was in the area so decided to stop by. I was shocked by how many flavors in general there are here. And they are all unique and sounded super delicious and interesting. I wanted to try so many - I had to limit myself... to trying 4 LOL. I ended up getting the ube malted crunch and the mango sticky rice. Both tasted delicious. I didn't realize the mango sticky rice was vegan until later as it was slightly icy in certain spots which made sense, but overall flavor was delicious. The ube was probably my favorite because it was super creamy and I loved the crunchy malted pieces. Price was $7 for a split single scoop in a cup.

Michael S.

Yelp
Before we would go to the Irvine location, but thank goodness they open one closer to home. You probably be thinking it's just another regular ice cream shop like Baskin-Robins, Cold Stone Creamery, or Ben and Jerry's, but it's not guys. The way they make their ice cream and the flavors taste premium and homemade. I really like the texture of it and how it's not overwhelmingly sweet. They also have unique Asian flavors available too. I'm not tryna overhype it because I got cavities and I gotta maintain the sugar intake, but trust me, this is the spot for some bomb desserts. The girls working there are kind and chill. Nothing too beyond with the service though. All the flavors there is pretty good and gives me similar vibes to Salt and Straw. Always random flavors. Last time we came, we got the Lavender one and the Biscoff one. Both. 5/5. People come thru and support the locals. Mahalo!

Becky C.

Yelp
Wanderlust Creamery is a solid ice creammplace. The staff here are friendly, which only adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere. I tried the Mango Sticky Rice flavor, and it was phenomenal--the perfect blend of fresh mango sweetness with a creamy, slightly sticky texture that really captures the classic dessert in ice cream form. My friend went for the Rocky Road and couldn't stop raving about it, calling it the best he's ever had. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you're after unique and delicious ice cream flavors.

Linh P.

Yelp
Came here to try their seasonal Filipino flavors and were not disappointed! My fiance got the split scoop of the sapin sapin and halo halo. The flavors were spot on and the toppings added a nice texture. I got the ube and the brown butter sans rival and it was so creamy and delicious. Special shout out to the manager, Jennifer, for being so nice and sweet! She had amazing customer service and recommendations!

Linnea H.

Yelp
Pack your patience or arrive early because this ice cream is so tasty that the line is LONG. The staff are pros and do move through the line fairly efficiently, all while maintaining a friendly attitude of helpfulness. I wanted to try all of the unique flavors, which are inspired by flavors from around the world. I landed on the seasonal labneh & jam ice cream, which was delicious. My partner had the stocky rice & mango ice cream, which really tasted like the real thing. There's a cute photo backdrop in the lobby for snapping a selfie, as well. It's only a few blocks away from the South Coast Plaza mall, and I'd highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Wanderlust Creamery replaced the former Dough & Arrow (same plaza as Halal Guys, Blue Bowl, Anjin, etc.) Conveniently close off the 405 & Bristol. There were no tables or seats set up when I went. Just a lot of space to stand around after ordering ice cream. Parking may get a little hard during peak times with all the other restaurants and businesses in the plaza. Wanderlust is different from other ice cream shops because their ice cream is inspired by countries all around the world, and you can really taste the flavors and ingredients that are described. They have a variety of signature flavors that are available all year round, and rotating seasonal flavors that change every month. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors here, truly. You can buy ice cream by the scoop, split scoop, tasting trio, etc. in a cup or cone (they even have ube cone!) and even by the pint (select flavors). They also allow for samples (but please be mindful of line etiquette). My favorite flavor that I swear by is the Ube Malted Crunch. I literally cannot leave any Wanderlust location without this. I love Wanderlust and was so excited when they opened up a location in Irvine a year ago so that I wouldn't have to spend hours in LA traffic anymore. This second OC location in Costa Mesa is even closer to me so I hope it keeps migrating North. PLEASE OPEN A NORTH OC LOCATION (Specifically Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills/Orange/Brea/Fullerton).

Krystle A.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of wanderlust creamery but only always got it in Pasadena. Such a convenient location now that it's way closer! The service was good, we were helped by Julina. She was very helpful and patient with my kids and let us sample some flavors. I highly recommend the ube malted crunch and the pandan tres leches, can't go wrong with these traditional flavors, not overly sweet but still super flavorful. My daughters loved the Hokey Pokey and the smoky road! I want to go back and try some of the other seasonal flavors! Everything is so good and creamy! Even their waffle cones were good! We tried the vanilla one! Inside is small but very clean. There is no seating area inside but outside there are some chairs and if you go to the corner outside near blue bowl there are tables and chairs to sit in. This location is located in a plaza next to a bunch of other restaurants and foodie places such as anjin, halal guys, blue bowl, uncle tetsu, 7 leaves, and capitol seafood. There's limited parking and I can see if it gets busy how it might be hard to get a space for parking bc it's surrounded by a lot of great places to eat and drink drinks. I highly recommend this area and will be coming back to try all the seasonal flavors!

Priscilla V.

Yelp
They had a lot of unique flavors to choose from. The worker was so friendly and patient while I sampled a few flavors. I settled on the Smokey rocky road which was delish!

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Perfect spot for dessert! The employees let us know that Wanderlust Creamery is Filipino-owned and the flavors were inspired by their travels. I got the pandan tres leches with a waffle cone. I wish the pandan taste was more prominent but it had a light sweet, grassy flavor with notes of vanilla and coconut. This was a decadent and perfect indulgence after dinner.

Jessica N.

Yelp
Grand opening day was pretty fun. Got there at 3pm for their Friday 6pm opening and I was 5th. Not competitive at all. Some people were #45 at 4:30pm. First 50 swag included a hat (bucket or baseball), ice cream scoop, mystery prize coupon, and a tote. My free scoop came in three flavors so that was really nice. Kyoto Grape: a very lightly sweetened purple grape sorbet. Tasted like real grapes. Not the fake grape flavor. Rose: very light floral vanilla ice cream honestly. Cheese was super light, didn't notice it. Smoky road: wished it was a darker chocolate but not too sweet. Very nice staff with a cute photo op inside. There's no seating indoor and very little outdoor. Parking is small.

Andy T.

Yelp
It looks like this Wanderlust Creamery is a new location that opened up. I went around 4pm and there was a small waiting line. This is located in a plaza with shared parking with other stores. For each ice cream, there were signs with the name, country origin, and ingredients. This was really helpful for decision making. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helped with providing samples of the flavors. I selected the Pandan Tres Leches and the Vietnamese Rocky Road. There is small table near the wall, but no seats inside. However, there are some benches in front of the store. Note: American Express is accepted.

Cathlyn D.

Yelp
Love this place! Definitely will come back to try more flavors. We were able to sample a bunch and the service was great. My husband is Peruvian and I'm Filipino so it was an awesome surprise to see both cultures flavors in one place! I got pandan tres leches and ube (most popular). Husband got chicha morada and passion fruit. All great! Inside was nice and clean as well. Will come back with family next time.

Jacinda X.

Yelp
The creative, fun, Asian-inspired ice cream flavors are to die for! They give you unlimited tasting, so you can try the different options. My favorites were the ube malt and pandas tres leches! A bit pricier, but what a fun treat once in a while. I definitely will be back to try the other flavors.

Bryan T.

Yelp
Some of the best ice cream I've had! I've been wanting to try wanderlust creamery for a long time but all the locations were far. I just happen to be in the area and remember they had just opened a location in Costa Mesa. The parking here was easy, plenty of spots in their parking lot. Inside, it was nice with all the travel themed decor. I especially like the variety of unique flavors they offer from all over the world. I ordered the split scoop and picked the Pandan tres leches and Japanese Neapolitan. Both flavors were really good and the ice cream tasted very high quality. Overall, I would say this is my favorite ice cream shop of all time. I can't wait for them to open their Torrance location soon and hope they open a location in Long Beach where I live.

Hannah N.

Yelp
Yay, another OC location! It's in a tight plaza, but I'm usually able to find parking. As with other locations, there really isn't much seating but you can stand around. The staff here is nice. Wanderlust truly has the best, most unique flavors. I always look forward to the seasonal flavors.

Casey D.

Yelp
Visited this location on a Friday night and it wasn't as busy as the Irvine location! If you don't want to wait in a long line at the Irvine location, this one is a better alternative. I ordered the passionfruit (permanent menu) and brown butter sans rival (seasonal menu). I loved how the brown butter sr had some texture to it. The passionfruit was my fave! Not too sweet and has just the right amount of tartness. The texture also reminded me of the sorbet flavors at Awan in LA. There's standing bar tables at the corner of the shop, but no seats inside. * parking can get a little tricky as the lot tends to fill up quickly.

David H.

Yelp
I usually will never eat ice cream but I'll always get myself a split scoop at Wanderlust! Wanderlust is an Asian owned ice cream spot, with all their flavors being Asian inspired. The flavors are very unique! Options like Vietnamese Rocky Road, Mango Sticky Rice, and Ube Crunch make the experience here so fun to try something new. The flavors are really good too!! This place is usually packed in the evening so expect a slight wait, especially if you're coming on a weekend. There's also no indoor seating so you'll likely just be standing around if you expect to dine here. $7 for a single or split scoop - not bad!

Rangie T.

Yelp
We learned that for the month of October, Wanderlust Creamery is celebrating Filipino Flavors. So if you are Filipino or just love the flavors of the Philippines, you must come to Wanderlust before the end of October or it will be gone. I did not get the young lady's name but she was awesome. She is a professional. She took care of the line single handedly.

C. R.

Yelp
The flavors are uniquely creative! There's a handful of vegan flavors and every one that I've tried is top notch! I would definitely return when in the mood for luxurious ice cream that is worth the price. Highly recommended! The only downside is the day that my family and I went, the girl who assisted us looked like she just did NOT want to be there. No greeting, no response, no personality. It took a 5 star experience to a 4 star. I hope that she's having better days since then.

Roselia G.

Yelp
This is the second OC location. The grand opening had lots of great freebies and deals. They also have a rewards program that earns you one point for every dollar you spend. The prices are kinda up there, especially for not even filling the cup, but they do have some really unique and delicious flavors that you won't see any where else. If you haven't had this ice cream before, you should go at least once and then decide for yourself if it's worth the price.

Kevin C.

Yelp
Wanderlust is such a cool concept for an ice cream place - all of their ice cream is inspired by travel (mostly international locations). As a result, the flavors are unique and also have a fun story behind it. We visited for the first time this past weekend and tried the Smoky Road, Kinder and Passionfruit Cacao. We were lucky to also be able to sample a ton of flavors and the shop was so patient with us. The Passionfruit Cacao was a slam dunk and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately for me, my six year old ate most of it since passion fruit is one of her favorite fruits. Kinder tastes like Ferrero Rocher so that was fun and Smoky Road was what I was craving since I'm a chocolate lover. They have a bunch of locations in LA and now have two in OC. Definitely check this place out if you're into unique ice cream flavors that have a homemade taste/feel.

Denise H.

Yelp
Absolutely love the unique, global flavors that are offered! It's exciting that every month brings new flavors and celebrations. My personal favorite is the ube! Cute little ice cream shop with plenty of free parking in the strip mall (and a ton of great eateries next door). Join their reward program if you want to be a frequent visitor. Points add up for free scoops!

Gaither R.

Yelp
Jathan was really helpful and let me try as many samples as I wanted. There wasn't one bad flavor. They were all really good and I will be coming back here again. 5 star visit for sure.

Lucas B.

Yelp
We came here the day after their grand opening, and the line went out the door. Not to worry, the line moved quickly! The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as we asked to try many of the internationally-themed flavors. The Ube-malted crunch is a GAME CHANGER. There so many tasty flavors, a good price point of 7.75 for 3 half-scoops so you can indulge in more than you typically would at other ice cream shops. (With some flavors' richness, the "half scoop" may be the right amount)! No seating inside as of yet, but there's some seating outside. Plenty of space to stand around and enjoy. The parking can be tough during dinner time in that particular center, but plenty of street parking by the north entrance. I'm more excited to come back here than I am Salt & Straw next time we want ice cream...which is really saying something!

Brian L.

Yelp

Brandon M.

Yelp
Wanted to try this place for a while now and it was worth the wait. Not your average flavors here. Went on a sun night and it was pretty packed but the service was still fast. Vietnamese rocky road hit the spot.

Dee S.

Yelp
Hey Beautiful People! So you know how CA is the perfect place to open an ice cream shop? How about 9 of them?! I admit, after a wonderful experience at Wanderlust Creamery Irvine, I decided to try the new Costa Mesa location... Big mistake! I realized from this experience that it wasn't just the unique ice cream flavors that made Wanderlust special, but it was also their cheerful customer service, which was sadly non-existent at the new Costa Mesa location. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the vibe or warmth of the Irvine location at all. There were only two workers, and the shop wasn't busy, but both of them were definitely ready to bounce despite it being more than an hour away from closing time. Also, their were stingy on their scoops, so even getting the flight of 3 didn't add up to the size of a regular scoop of ice cream at other places. Hopefully, with proper training, this store can be a success, or I see it closing up within a year or less. There are too many niche ice cream places VERY nearby that are excellent overall AND have great service. However, I do want to still give credit where credit is due, and these were the standout flavors for me: 1.) Japanese Neopolitan - Very demure, very cutesy! 2.) Black Sesame Cookies & Cream - Gawd, I love this flavor! It's so good, I could have had a triple scoop if it weren't 7.50! (For a price/size comparison in Costa Mesa, you can check out Han's, Stella Jean's & even Baskin Robbins) 3.) Pistachio Puro - Was initially worried that this would taste artificial, but it was a solid bite of pistachio that wasn't too sweet. Anyway, make sure you give them a try so you can decide for yourself: Irvine or Costa Mesa?! It's Irvine for me!

Yelp
ice cream is literally my favorite sweet treat so i was so excited to hear that a wanderlust was opening near me!! the service here is sooo nice! the girl was so kind and let me try so many flavors before i committed lol. all the flavors were good but the japanese napoleon was my favorite - very light and good balance of flavors. the ice cream here is smooth and creamy, so yummers. it was $7 for a single split scoop (kinda pricey but its 2 flavors in one yay!) and $1.25 for toppings like sprinkles. super cute that they have a lactaid vending machine right by the register

Yelp
My go-to flavors are usually the ube malted crunch and pandan tres leches. But, I was able to taste test the French toast and corn ice cream, and they were pretty good so I might get that next time. Also I regret not getting the ube waffle cone, so maybe get that if you're an ube fan! They don't have any seats inside but this can be a cute spot to take a date or friends after a meal. And, the workers are attentive and friendly, so don't feel scared to ask questions (especially if it's your first time). Side note- this plaza can get a little busy if you go during rush hour or on the weekends. So parking might be hard to find.

Yelp
I love the ice cream here and I love how there is always new flavors! I love the atmosphere of the store as well and how it's not too overwhelming. However every time I come here none of the workers wanna work. Like they always look so angry and never talk to the customers. They always look upset when asking for samples as well. The girl working the last time I went left the register before I even paid. I don't know if the employees are getting treated right cause this happens at all locations no matter what time of day it is.

Yelp
I love all their unique ice cream flavors! Because this month is Filipino heritage month, they had a lot of different and unique flavors! I got the ube crunch and japanese neopolitan and it was delicious! The flavors are sweet but also rich because of the milk. The workers were sweet too because they allowed us to take as many samples we wanted. There's a lot of seating outside. The only issue is that there's always a line of people, but it goes by super fast. I highly recommend people to go if you're in a sweet treat mood!

Yelp
Always love Wanderlust. This is in the plaza with Capital Noodle Bar, Halal Guys, Anjin, and lots of other good eats. So glad this location opened up as it's more convenient for us to enjoy now :)

Yelp
I have heard of Wanderlust Creamery before, and finally got the chance to try it! The shop is located in an area with plenty of other restaurants, so it's easy to get as a dessert. Plenty of parking so that won't be a concern. The shop is still new, so the interior doesn't have much seating at the moment. Jenn was such a helpful worker! Due to there being SO many interesting flavors, Jenn gave us so many samples and was so patient with us. Her service truly stood out since my friend and I were really curious and indecisive. Wanderlust Creamery is unique because of their flavors! They take inspiration from different cultures and turn it into ice cream. Our favorites were the Hwachae (Korean dessert) and Vietnamese Rocky Road. We also got the Thai Tea which had little boba-like bits. Super creamy. It was so good we ended up buying separate pints of it LOL! Please give this place a try if you like ice cream!! There will be definitely be something for everyone, it's so diverse! Will definitely be coming back to try seasonal flavors. (:

Yelp
Great flavors! Had a superb experience trying out the various seasonal flavors. Jennifer was incredibly helpful in allowing my friends and I try out samples. She also provided recommendations which helped made the overall experience memorable. Would definitely come back as a repeat customer
