Ice Cream Order: Blueberry Elderflower (Scandinavian inspired ice cream: mascarpone ice cream, housemade blueberry jam, elderberry cordial) $5.00 Sakura Crunch (Japanese cherry blossom-infused ice cream, housemade strawberry + uji matcha "kit kats") & Yuzu Creamsicle (yuzu citrus sorbet swirled with milkest vegan ice cream) with Rainbow Sprinkles $8.50 I was first introduced to Wanderlust & met Owner Adrienne Borlongan 7 years ago at Yelp's Baked Alaska DIY, sampling 4 flavors: Violet Marshmallow (marshmallow creme ice cream with parma violet, candied violet pieces), Strawberry Spumoni (pistachio ice cream, freckles of Valrhona strawberry inspiration couverture), Ube Malted Crunch (malted milk, sweet purple yams, crunchy malted milk pieces), & Sticky Rice + Mango (housemade rice milk, coconut cream, alphonso mango swirls), & watching Adrienne craft a Baked Alaska with their Palo Santo Candy Cane (ice cream steeped with Palo Santo wood + fresh mint with freckles of 70% Ecuadorian dark chocolate + candy cane bits) as the base. The finished product was gorgeous as it was delish, & I've been a fan ever since! I didn't care for Venice location due to traffic congestion & limited parking, though this Old Town Pasadena isn't that much better being in a food hall & no dedicated parking. There's metered street parking or any of the parking structures that's a short walk. I visit this spot more because it's more convenient when I'm in the area visiting my brother. Wanderlust came to fruition & inspired from Adrienne's travels, & the flavors are reflected as such. I hit the jackpot with the Blueberry Elderflower, Sakura Crunch, & Yuzu Creamsicle! My husband is Swedish so Blueberry Elderfloweer really hits the spot & reminds me of our travels to Sweden... with sweet, rich mascarpone ice cream that's perfectly balanced with blueberry jam & enhanced by the elderberry cordial that's adds depth of rich fruitiness & tartness. Sakura Crunch & Yuzu Creamsicle are Japan-inspired flavors & ordered a double. Both were absolutely delish that I can't help deciding which was best. The cherry blossom ice cream was mildly tinted with a delicate floral flavor with sweet strawberry that's offset by a creamy, bitter, rich tea taste. The yuzu citrus sorbet was sweet, tangy, & refreshing, yet so creamy for a sorbet. Prices: Single $5.00 Split Single +50¢ Tasting Trio $6.50 Double $7.50 Pint $13.00 Cone $1.00 ea. Toppings $1.00 ea. Price points are higher than your typical ice cream shops, but for their innovativeness & quality, it's almost worth it, but I can't say it's worth the 1+ hr. drive. The server was friendly & patient while I sample a few flavors before deciding on our order. I love Wanderlust Creamery most for their Asian-inspired ice cream flavors! If you're looking for creative & quality ice cream, wander over to satisfy your sweet tooth... you'll be glad you did. Highly Recommended: Blueberry Elderflower, Sakura Crunch, & Yuzu Creamsicle!

Wanderlust creamery is one of the best ice cream spots IVE ever been to. Since family lives in Pasadena, I visit them all the time from the Bay Area and come to wanderlust. Ice cream quality is insanely good, workers are nice, and the overall atmosphere is really nice. It’s also close to Osawa if you want ice cream o after a good Japanese meal! Btw the ube is good.

Google
Delicious! Yummy! Good! Awesome! Great tasting ice cream. Not your average ice cream flavors. I got a sticky rice mango flavor scoop of ice cream it really has that same taste as mango sticky rice! They also have an ube flavor that i will definitely come back to try. Price is a bit high for such a small scoop but I guess with the flavors they offer I will pay it. Its very creamy and yummy and would recommend to anyone that loves ice cream! 😋

Google
A cute place to get that sweet tasty treat. You can come in and sample the different flavors they have before you finally decide on the ones you want. The waffle cone is the way to go, get the split scoop you’re gonna want more than one flavor. Staff was great, also awesome to see Filipinos representation and flavors that people get to enjoy. Cultures are meant to be shared and appreciated. Love their fusions and seasonal flavors that change, it keep it fresh and allowing to come back to try something new. This place also has pie hole and pressed juicery inside. They have seating area by the window where you can enjoy your treat and people watch. Lots of stores that you can visit on your visit either before or after. Parking garages are close by just be mindful of the time that passes by either parking isn’t too expensive.

Google
One of the best ice cream spots in LA! They have so many options and the best part is so all are inspired by different countries. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I tried a range of different flavors but went black sesame cookies and cream, olive oil salted date, and Japanese Neapolitan. Would definitely recommend visiting and definitely coming back!

Stephanie S.

Google
I love coming here whenever I swing by Pasadena. The ube waffle cone is delightful and every ice cream flavor I've tried has not disappointed me. So far my favorites are probably the pandan tres leches and black sesame cookies and cream

Kevin C.

Google
Ordered a two scoop of Ube Malted Crunch and Smoky Road and another two scoop of Passionfruit Cacao and Black Sesame Cookies and Cream. The Ube Malted Crunch is a good pick for ube lovers and has small malt bits that you can savor a bit longer. The Smoky Road is great for chocolate lovers that want a darker chocolate taste. The Passionfruit Cacao is a sweet and fruity flavor. The Black Sesame Cookies and Cream have the sweetness of the cookies and cream mixed with the natural tones of black sesame. Great little nook to have a dessert and you can try samples before you buy, just be mindful if there is a line behind you.

Dave B.

Google
Delicious, creative ice cream flavors. Not the place to go if you're looking for standard chocolate and vanilla, but perfect if you're looking for a different sort of ice cream flavor.

Yelp
One of my fave ice cream spots! They've got a ton of Asian-inspired flavors and they do them really well. My partner and I got Smokey Road and Vietnamese Coffee, they paired so nicely together. I also tried the hwachae and corn latte flavors and loved both! Big shoutout to the cashier for being super patient while I sampled like 7 flavors LOL. Super friendly vibe overall. Parking's easy too; there's a lot behind Miniso that's just $1 for the first 2 hours, which is super convenient.

Yelp
Located in a location with 3 total businesses inside. But Wanderlust is directly to the right when walking in. Recommended by a friend for their unique homemade flavors with good sized scoops. I was able to try a few flavors before making my decisions. They had special monthly flavors which are tasty and refreshing. Only trouble was finding nearby parking during lunch time
google avatar

Yelp
I'm going to dream about this ice cream for days. I love the subtle sweetness and the surprise bits of chocolate covered honeycomb. So tasty. I love all the flavors as well. At some point I'll try all of them. This is located in a place with other businesses. It was pretty quiet when we went in. Tables were a little messy from people not throwing away their stuff, but overall good experience. The staff here was also kind.

Yelp
I've been to this location years ago and loved it then. I went back recently and still love it! My favorite flavor is the Ube Malted Crunch and whether I have it at this location or any other ones, it still tastes amazing. They've been consistent throughout the years, I love their concept and I appreciate how creative they get every month with their seasonal menus. It's not easy coming up with new flavors all the time, and Wanderlust has been doing it so well. Sure, not every flavor is a slam dunk, but that doesn't stop them from thinking outside the box and introducing us to new flavors from around the world!

Yelp
This is a very tiny ice cream stand inside a mini food hall so it's very easy to miss! Parking can be difficult since they don't have their own parking lot but there are nearby parking structures. Service was friendly and welcoming. Menu has a good variety of unique flavors, particularly Asian flavors like Black Sesame and Pandan!! Pricing is a bit pricey.. Single is $7 BUT they offer a TASTING TRIO for $7.75, which is 3 half scoops of any flavor if you are indecisive like me! Love how they offer samples if you want to try before ordering! They charge $1.50 for cone/bowl, $1.00 for toppings, and prepacked is $13. The Japanese Neopolitan was so delicious and creamy. The matcha tasted subtle and the notes of Sakura and Hokkaido were very nice without being too overly sweet. This was 8/10 The Ube Malted Crunch was so good! The ube didn't taste artificial and the bits of malted crunch was a nice touch! Not too sweet and super creamy! This was 10/10 The Sticky Rice and Mango was very tasty! The mango tasted very fresh and I really enjoyed the coconut cream inside! This was definitely one of my favorites! This was 10/10 Would definitely return and recommend!

Yelp
A pretty decent ice cream shop in the center of Oldtown Pasadena. The flavor I got was reminiscent of an Asian snicker bar with traces of chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and nougat throughout. I don't know if I'd get it again but it definitely made me curious what other flavors rotate through. The shop was clean, the clerk was friendly if a bit rushing to get to the next customer. But overall it's a good place for ice cream if you're already in that neck of the woods.

Yelp
i visited this location around lunchtime on a tuesday. it can be a little hard to find because it is tucked away in a building with a few other vacant spaces. there was one cashier working and providing samples of the ice cream flavors as requested. the prices are fitting for the location it is in. i got a one scoop of the christmas flavor. good choices overall!

Yelp
Wanderlust oh wanderlust why are u so yummy food: ice cream flavors are inspired from countries all over the world! mostly asian inspired flavors, but so delish. on the pricier side + pandan rafaello with ube cone ($9): ice cream is perfecttto texture! but pandan flavor not too strong, more of a pronounced coconut flavor. ube cone delish, but wish there was more ube flavor that comes out. service: workers are very efficient with the samples, but wished they at least gave a lil smile or a how are you to the customers. understand it's a fast paced ordering system, but would love a bit of customer service even if it's super slow. ambiance: i LOVEEE the decor of this place and it is sooo cute and retro! bathroom: i believe there is one that is all the way back of the businesses that are shared location: inside a quaint little store with other businesses parking: street parking or walking distance from any of the parking structures that are in the old town pasadena

Yelp
Got a single split scoop of Black Sesame and Vegan Earl Grey Milk Chocolate. Both were delicious! I love earl grey. The earl grey and chocolate were both not overpowering, subtle, just right, not too floral either.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
Tried wanderlust for the first time and I loved the many unique flavors available and glad sampling was allowed. It's a cute little stand inside a shared unit with 2 or 3 other businesses. I didn't catch her name, but the girl working there was nice and provided suggestions for me. I went with the black sesame Oreo at the end, love me a good black sesame ice cream. Wish the scoop was bigger, bc $7.50 for that itty bitty scoop is a bit diabolical.

J M.

Yelp
The employee Nyne provided great customer service to all individuals at the time that we were there. The flavors are delicious. The place has a welcoming ambiance. Nyne is very patient.

Yelp
Quality has gotten down over the years since they've expanded locations. Hence the update from 5 to 4 stars. I've ordered pints multiple times and have had issues each time, consecutively. 1) Americas Homeland not filled all the way 2) Ube malted crunch not having any malt bits 3) Japanese neopolitan having barely any matcha The flavors are still good and workers are helpful with samples if (as long as the line isn't too long) but the menu is limited to single, split single and tasting trio. They no longer have a double scoop option.
google avatar

Meagan I.

Yelp
Always a five star experience wherever you go to wanderlust. My usual location is Atwater but you go to any location and the service/quality are always on point. Still on watch for the FOOD FOR THE GODS but the CHRISTMAS COOKIE was a delicious vanilla creamy sweet flavor. This is in a hustle and bustle kinda area. It shares space with other places. It's like a mini food court in a way. Pasadena always offers a fun experience.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Wanderlust never fails with the amazingly good unique flavors. May brings a good variety of Asian flavors for AAPI month too. I appreciate the ability to try flavors too. I went with the Ube Crunch, which is on the sweeter side and a scoop of Tokyo Neopolitan which is a mix of hojicha, matcha and Hokkaido Milk (although hojicha flavor stands out the most). Not too much seating when busy though.
google avatar

Dee-Ana P.

Yelp
Ube Malt & Pandan Tres Leches...that's all you need to know. These are my favorite flavors and I highly recommend them. You're welcome!
google avatar

Lissa L.

Yelp
If you want premium ice cream and are looking for rare flavors, look no further. Wanderlust has so many strange, inviting flavors that are just a party in your mouth. If I am not mistaken, they invest a lot into researching and developing previously unimagined flavors every month. I bought their Kinder and Black Sesame ice cream pints and after enjoying them, immediately became a much better person. Trust me on this...good ice cream makes all the difference in elevating your energy. Wanderlust is the key to world peace.
google avatar

Nicole I.

Yelp
Wanderlust is always my go-to after eating dinner somewhere in Old Town. I really like all of the different types of flavors that they have. A few of my favorites are: Japanese Neapolitan, Kinder, Vietnamese Rocky Road, and a classic is the Ube Malted Crunch. Even though the line is usually out the door the service is always quick. I also like that you can make your own pint or they have pre-made ones as well. They usually alternate seasonal flavors every month which I also enjoy. Definitely recommend if you're wanting to try some unique or Asian inspired flavored ice cream!

Yelp
After lunch we strolled in old town Pasadena. Stopped for ice cream and found Wanderlast creamery. It's located in a building with 3 snack store. The place was pretty decent. Clean and spacious . It's a self served. Seats and table were available. There were lot's of flavor selection . We ended up getting the Ube with crunch, Mano sticky rice and sea salted caramel . They were very good and creamy. Ordered one scoop each and finished it. Be back for sure .

Yelp
I pray to the ice cream gods every night for Wanderlust to open a location in the Bay Area LOL My love for their ice cream shocks me because I'm not a huge ice cream girlie. But something about the consistency and obviously the flavors, just gets me every time!! There is no other way to enjoy wanderlust than to get the trio sampler scoops. Though their everyday flavors are delicious, I always try to get their seasonal flavors because they are limited-time only! Everything that I've had is delicious, but right now, my favorite has to be the Christmas cookies. In the past, I've loved their collab with Jasmine Pak (I think it was a peachy flavor), anything with saffron, all the seasonal items for AAPI month, and one you can't skip is the everyday: Japanese Neapolitan. This location specifically has been busy most times, but this last time we went (Friday after Thanksgiving), it was pretty empty. The staff is always so nice and offers samples every time. The only thing lacking is a place to sit. There are some stools by the windows but other than that, if it's packed, we usually walk around with our ice cream or we look for a seat near the shops. Parking can be a challenge so make a day out of it. Go eat, go shop and end your adventures with a treat from Wanderlust!
google avatar

Kimberly L.

Yelp
The hot summer days are here! I stopped by not that long ago to Wanderlust with my mom and BF on a Friday night! I opted to go here becuase of the unique ice cream flavors. I shared the passion fruit ice cream with my mom and I have to say that OMG it's top for me! It's really hard to find ice cream parlors that have passion fruit flavor. The one that they make at Wanderlust is packed with flavor and you can definitely taste the fresh fruit in it. The best thing is that it's not sweet! I will be having this again. I'm hoping that this flavor stays and that it isn't seasonal. I forgot to ask. The service here is great!
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
I love the creative flavors here, a lot of which are Asian inspired. I went here closer to closing time on Wednesday and it was still fairly busy. I thought choosing the location furthest from LA-proper would be easiest with parking, but I found parking here to be one of the hardest as a lot of Pasadena streets block off for outdoor dining and valet and you'll be left with very limited street parking but plenty of more expensive parking garages. We got two trios (3 half scoops) because there were so many flavors to choose from, and we even sampled a good fraction of the flavors before committing to 6. We ended up getting thai tea with boba, sticky rice + mango, black sesame, pistachio puro, Vietnamese rocky road, and Japanese neapolitan. I love the thai tea with boba a lot, as well as the pistachio and Japanese neapolitan, but it is hard to tell which one is the "best" since it really depends what you like. Prices were fair as 3 half scoops were $7.75 inclusive of tax, and I can think of plenty of places that would charge more for similar.

Yelp
#16 for 2024 It was a late warm evening when we strolled in looking for something to satisfy the tongue after a carnivorous dinner. Cheesecake Factory was close by but that's like been there, done that. Wanted something new. Stepping in Wanderlust Creamery is at the front of the venue. Other businesses go further back into a nice vibe with a few tables you could sit down to enjoy your creamery, and coffee if you wanted to give that particular vendor a try. But I digress. This is about Wanderlust creating flavors unheard of using natural ingredients that sound so exotic it piques your ear of curiosity. Their signature flavors are Ube Malted Crunch and Passionfruit Cacao. The Ube was out. We tried several flavors and settled on three in a cup. I took Vietnamese Rocky Road. Inspired by the coffee stops on the HảI vân pass from đà nang to huế gong through a windy road taking you through tropic green mountains to sea blue mist panoramic views. A journey worth traveling. Really loved this blend of Vietnamese coffee, sweetened condense milk, marshmallow, crunchy caramelized cacao nibs and french roast bits. I need to get a pint of this next time. And I'm not sharing. Oh the pandan tres leche was good too. And, I do love the fruity flavors. I'm assuming the base is the vanilla ice cream then mixing in the flavors that will dominate. Pandan sponge cake and ribbons of condensed milk is a nice twist to an Asian inspired tres leche. I'll take a pint of this too. I wasn't impressed with the Japanese neopolitan. trio of matcha, sakura (Japanese cherry blossom), and Hokkaido milk ice creams. Hey 2 out 3 ain't bad. All that came to $7.68. Not bad. You could get 3 pints for $10.00 New flavors are rotated every month. You can find flavors like Sticky Rice & Mango, Abuelita Malted Crunch, Wanderlust Vanilla, Thai Tea & Boba, Smoky Road, Hokey Pokey, Chè Thái, Noyaux & Plum Jam, Malaysian White Coffee, Amalfi Pear Torte, Subak Hwachae and Subak Hwachae to name a few. Check out their website to get the full descriptions and you might find yourself wonderfully traveling through Southeast Asia. Also, see where their locations are and new locations that will be popping up in the next few months. They just released a book "The World of Ice Cream" sharing their love and recipes of their ice cream. You don't find many businesses sharing their secrets. It's probably because those ingredients, especially for us here in the states, is going to be hard pressed to get at an economic price to afford the adventure of making these delicious treats. We can try substituting. This was definitely a delicious way to adventure through ice cream. And you can bet I'll be back for more.

Yelp
Great flavors, quick service! Inside a building shared with other businesses, Wanderlust Creamery is the first thing you see when you walk in. There is limited seating inside but it felt cramped so we left to enjoy our ice cream. I really liked the array of hand scooped options here, very unique and reminiscent of Ben and Jerry's crazy combinations. All the flavors were clearly labeled with their ingredients, perfect for those like me with allergies. They offer free samples as well, but the line was inconveniently located right at the door-- I felt like we had to hurry because there was a bottleneck at the exit. Overall, happy with the selection and I went with Kinder flavor. Not too overpowering but perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth! -1 star for it being EXTREMELY hot inside. Whoever is cranking up that heater needs to chill! It's cold outside but it's no reason for it to be sweltering!
google avatar

Alaric S.

Yelp
first time to this location in Pasadena! The ambience, was inside this food hall and one guy behind the counter serving up the ice cream. I had to commend him for working the whole shop on his own, to sample the new Filipino flavors and a whole line almost to the door
google avatar

Shir F.

Yelp
If you're in the area make sure to stop by Wanderlust Creamery for some of the BEST ICE CREAM! Great variety of flavors that made it really hard to pick what to get, all the flavors were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the Kinder ice cream and the Vietnamese Rocky Road they were some of our favorite flavors.

Cynthia L.

Yelp
We love Wanderlust and the unique flavors they offered. We happened to stop by on a weeknight right before the rush, so the nice gentleman let us take our time and sample a bunch of flavors. We settled on: Che Thai, Subaru Hwachae, Passionfruit Cacao, and Abuelita Malted Crunch - all in cones. Cous got Icelandic Milk Chocolate (had hints of black licorice) and that was the only one that wasn't my jam. Wanderlust is closest to the entrance, so when they're busy (for Pressed and the Chai latte shop), it does seem to get congested. Def worth trying their unique Asian flavors!
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
The ice cream here was only OK. I didn't love it nor do I think I'll be going back. They do have unique flavors however it's expensive for what you are getting. Parking is a pain. It's Pasadena. They do let you sample though!
google avatar

Akane T.

Yelp
FIVE STARS for the unique flavors of the ice cream!! The guys who helped us was nice to let us try samples but seemed to be a little annoyed. 2.5 stars for him. My fave is the Japanese Neapolitan !! Matcha, Hokkaido milk and Sakura flavor! So good! The chicha morada is good too! Peruvian inspired tangy sorbet!
google avatar

Rochelle M.

Yelp
My family loves, loves Wanderlust ice cream! I knew we were going to have it for dessert when we saw it on our way to Bone Kettle. So, after brunch we took the short walk to Colorado Blvd. to get our fix. Service is quick but impersonal. You have to ask for napkins. There's narrow counter seating at the front by the windows. The place is small but nicely lit and kept clean. The price is fair for the scoop size and quality. Always perfectly creamy and so, so good!
google avatar

Joyella J.

Yelp
Good flavors and ingredients are up a notch ... I love the marshmallow in theiversion of rocky road the chocolate flavor is good to your palette

Jason G.

Yelp
Great ice cream & great flavors to try. Had the mangostein & coffee, which was great, but the coffee flavor more than dominated in this one

Yelp
Small-ish place in old towne Pasadena. It can easily be missed because there's signs for multiple places when you enter 1 door (like pressed juicery) - it is the first place as soon as you walk through the entrance. You need to search for parking, be that street or inside or outdoor lot - but you'll likely be paying for it. **Right now, until the end of July, they're running a promotion 3 scoops for the outside of 1!! They have amazing more Asian-forward ice cream flavors. Fun brown sugar and ube cones too
google avatar

Marshay D.

Yelp
First time here at this location. I never really tried Wanderlust but it's pretty decent. I had a few samples since it wasn't any vegan ice cream. However, I did purchase my sister a scoop of ice cream which I forgot the name. It's located in oldtown Pasadena on Colorado Blvd. It's located in the food area next to The Pie Hole and easy to find. Very cute inside with unique ice cream flavors and names. The service was friendly, good, and fast service. It's plenty of street parking and garage! -Marshay D.

Yelp
I've always been a fan of Wanderlust ever since the Atwater Village shop opened up across the street from me several years ago. I've always ordered the tasting trip - it's a better bang for buck since it only costs around 75 cents more than the single, and you get three flavors to choose from. The Ube Malted Crunch is their staple and it never disappoints. The decadent nutty flavor with hints of vanilla/pistachio and the added crunch from the malt makes for a great first flavor. On this visit I added the Buaontalenti and the Verbena Yakult Peach. I was very impressed with the Buontalenti, it was reminiscent of an orange sherbet but with more mellowed flavors of vanilla and citrus. The Verbena Yakult Peach is a was delicious Yakult yogurt, but still mellow enough for those who don't desire the full tastiness of frozen yogurt. P.S. just beware about the bathrooms. They're safe, it was just shocking when the associate told me that it was in their basement. It's extremely dimly lit with black bricks, they have a creepy picture of a skull and a guy just sitting there in the corner. I kind of just noped out of there when I first came in alone... hahaha

Yelp
I just added my review of another Wanderlust location but since I went to the Pasadena location two times a few days later, it warranted their own review. Since we live closer to this location and love Wanderlust in general, we hope they will thrive in Old Town and not succumb to what seems like constant turnover in the neighborhood. We went in and had some of the most amazing ice creams. Loved it so much that we returned two days later and picked up several pints and a dozen, fresh made waffle cones (a mix of the ube and brown sugar) to bring to a dinner party. The staff are patient and professional and the utter enjoyment of sitting by the front window, watching pedestrians stroll by was the ambiance equivalent of sitting by a tranquil river,

Yelp
After a late dinner we were looking for a Sweet spot for a little dessert. We had saw his place smack dab in the middle Downtown Colorado st. in Pasadena. They had a small line but I was curious about their "Asian" inspired flavors like Thai ice tea with Boba, and Mango Sticky Rice, and Vietnamese Rocky Road ice creams. I had ordered a Bibinka, Mango Sticky Rice, and a Banana coffee pie with a scoop of Vietnamese Rocky Road. I liked all the flavors I tried, but unfortunately I had about 1/2 and I dropped my scoop in the parking garage. We will definitely try more of their flavors and hopefully not drop mine next time.

Yelp
Wanderlust has delicious and unique flavors. When we arrived at this location, we thought it was closed. We arrived an hour before closing. The rest of the inside was dark and there was no one inside. We walked in and there was one behind the ice cream counter or at the register so we were initially disappointed. But the staff members came from behind and helped us out. We tried a whole bunch of samples and I loved a lot of the flavors. You can get a split which is 2 flavors for the price of 1 scoop!!

Yelp
Wanderlust has been my favorite ice cream shop for a while and I've always been impressed with their flavors. They use really high quality ingredients and the texture is always so creamy and smooth that you can't detect any ice particles. For those reasons it is very pricy at $7 for a single scoop, but it's also an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and try really unique flavors that you wouldn't normally see at other ice cream shops. I really appreciate how descriptive they are about their flavors and what ingredients go into them so you get the full transparency on what you're really getting. I've mostly had their seasonal flavors because they're always limited run. Their seasonal Sakura Crunch has to be one of the best because of the distinct floral taste in the cream. I also recently had their AAPI special Kinako and Kyoho Grape Jelly and I could really taste the buttery flavor of kinako. I wish I could come back to Wanderlust more often, but there are just way too many amazing dessert places in LA to rotate between. Still, it's always so tempting to go back a lot because of how often they change their seasonal menu.

Yelp

Yelp
Great choices for fellow lactose intolerant people! The mango sticky rice was my favorite. The shop is located inside a little food court type place, may be hard to find unless you follow google maps.

Yelp
Another great option for high end ice cream as the flavors here are more SE Asian and Filipino inspired. The Mango Sticky Rice is the most popular flavor and for good reason. It has a balance of sweet and a hint of salty flavor. The Ube waffle cone is another signature item here. The Mango Sticky Rice with Ube cone is a good combination! Try the flavors that sound good to you and find the one that floats your boat.

Yelp
I have been following Wanderlust for a while and I'm so glad I finally got to try it! All the anticipation and waiting did not disappoint. Their flavors are unique and not overly sweet. Each month they introduce new flavors. If you're a huge fan they have pint sizes available. Definitely one of my favorite ice cream places to indulge.

Yelp
The Malaysian white was one of the best flavors. Subtle coffee with a hit of white chocolate. Service was super nice, they gave us so many samples and were friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Cute little ice cream shop open pretty late in Pasadena! My favorite flavors so far are the Japanese Neopolitan and passion fruit! So good! Definitely worth trying.

Yelp
I love the flavors here. Sometimes it is a little hard to find a place to sit, and it can get crowded and loud, but the ice cream never disappoints. Personal favorites: Yuzu and Ube!

Yelp
The service is always great. The employees know they're selling something exotic, so they let you taste everything. The flavors might seem strange, but you'll find one that you like!
