Wankdorf Stadium

Good atmosphere in stadium, entry was fast and smooth. Easy to get public transport. Bern is a nice location and very easy for transport connections. Toilets and food were easily accessible, as with all their was ques but not too long. Organisation after match was very good to support with getting to your transport or exit.

I visited this stadium for a Europa League match between Young Boys and Panathinaikos last September. It’s a nice place to enjoy a game. Young Boys fans were quite friendly with us and you can visit it for an enjoyable experience

The stadium was ok! Good view of the pitch but please make it fully grass because you can tell that players can't move as quickly as they could normally. In the away section there was only one outlet for food and drink so it was quite busy. There is an upper and lower tier that became unreserved on the day which was disappointing (as some paid more than others for tickets!) Transport back and forth to and from the stadium was excellent and super organised!

As an away/visiting supporter it was a really nice experience. Nice compact stadium, no bad views and a stable 5G network. Plus buses laid on as soon as the match ended.

The best stadium experience in Switzerland, let alone in Bern

You can reach the stadium by catching tram 9 or the bus line 20 from the main train station. This is the second largest all-seater soccer stadium in the country. Young Boys plays its home games here. It is also a venue for concerts. There is a shopping center quite close as well.
