The Ultimate Guide to Boba in New York City | Eater NY

"Wanpo Tea Shop was founded by Peter Chang, whose family sold a variety of drinks at their grocery store in Taichung, Taiwan, in the 1950s. It was a popular hangout spot where aunties and uncles from the neighborhood would spend their afternoons over cups of aiyu lemonade and winter melon tea. Inspired by his family’s grocery store, Chang opened the first Wanpo Tea Shop in 1992, and it has since become a global Taiwanese bubble tea chain with locations in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom. At the Greenwich Village location, the vintage-style decor is reminiscent of tea shops in the 1940s. The most popular orders here include the red bean jelly drink, Wanpo milk tea, and aiyu jelly lemon tea." - Anna Huang

Google
Some unique tea choices than other typical bubble places. Really liked the traditional and nostalgic feel of the decor. Tasted my companion’s soy milk red bean it was mild in flavor. Did not like the self order machine would not indicate a selected beverage as unavailable until after tapping credit card. The credit card charge went through without transaction completed but refund did get credited in 2 days.

Google
Wanpo Tea Shop is hands-down our favorite boba spot in NYC! Every visit is a delight, with their authentic Taiwanese bubble tea stealing the show. The Wanpo Milk Tea is a perfect balance of rich, aromatic tea and creamy goodness, with chewy boba that’s always just right. We also love the Oolong Milk Tea for its smooth, floral notes. The portions are generous—half the cup is filled with those delightful pearls! The service is quick and friendly, and the self-ordering kiosk makes the process a breeze. The cozy, traditional vibe adds to the charm, making it a great grab-and-go spot near Washington Square Park. Whether you’re a boba fanatic or a first-timer, Wanpo’s quality and authenticity make it a must-visit. We keep coming back for more!

Google
Taiwanese style bubble tea - not too sweet, and the tea has an interesting flavor that is a bit earthy and rich, similar to another tea I've had in the past, but can't quite place. Bubbles are firm and not too sweet, too, which was nice. Ordering was through the kiosk.

Google
There are two kiosks where you order from. Me always stick to Aiyu Jelly lemon green tea. No sugar no ice. This time I had light ice and the taste goes flat. Staff calls order number at the counter for drinks to pick-up, also gives you loyalty card to collect stamps for award. Bubble is the type that hard to chew and less sweetness, instead of tender one with brown sugar seasoned.

Google
Wanpo is one of our favorite bubble tea places when we were in Taiwan, so we were very excited when they opened up their first location in NYC. They are famous for their high quality tea with various options. The menu is currently limited compared to what they offer in Taiwan but decent enough for us to feel satisfied for homesickness. We got their Red Bean Jelly Milk and Taro Milk. The taste was delicious and close to the one we had before. We highly recommend to have less sugar for both drinks we tried since the red bean & taro were very sweet.

Google
I personally got the Green milk tea but I thought it was so basic… it wasn’t even green colored and the green tea wasn’t very strong. I wish I had gotten smth more special I wanted the Match Brown Sugar bubble tea but it was sold out :(( little seating so I don’t recommend really planning to sit/relax and drink - we came here bc it was nearest but thought seating would be more

Google
I pass by here all the time and I always told myself I will always go in and grab myself some bubble tea. On a random lunch break. I finally did just that and I'm so happy I did! I got the rice yam milk tea and oh my God it tasted like cake. It was so good!! Inside the shop looks so cool It looks like a traditional tea shop and there are iPads so you can place your order. The service here was pretty quick and it's a nice shop if you just want to come in and take a little tea break

Google
Bubble Bliss! This bubble tea spot is a gem! The tiny boba pearls are a game-changer, adding a fun twist to every sip. The drinks are not just tasty but perfectly balanced in sweetness. If you're into delightful bubble tea experiences, this place is a must-try. Can't get enough of those tiny, flavorful surprises!

Yelp
We were impressed with our first experience here! We ordered: Wanpo MT, w aiyu jelly: good fragrance of the tea. The aiyu jelly has the consistency of grass jelly. Really enjoyed this. Alishan tea w boba: my daughter ordered this. She said it was good and boba was soft and chewy. We ordered through the kiosk. There was no one before us but our drink took quite a long time.

Yelp
- Locale Destination - It's on E 8th st and University pl in Greenwich Village in Manhattan. It's nearby NYU. Ambiance: casual yet looks serious on tea. You will like that if you are a tea lover of truly fine Chinese tea. Service: quick. You can use kiosk to order. Menu: wide range of tea flavors - simple tea to fruity ones. Very big. - Gluttony Expedition - Black tea latte: no sugar with boba. Boba was a bit hard but good flavor. Black tea was very flavorful, no sugar was way to go to enjoy the tea quality. - Conqueror's Deduction - It's a famous tea shop from Taiwan. The menu was huge! I think anyone from tea lovers to boba drinkers can enjoy here.

Yelp
Stopped by on a cold winter afternoon to grab a hot Wanpo Milk Tea with boba. Delicious even without any sugar! I like that the tea flavor really came through, that's when you know the tea I real and not powder. Service was quick and straightforward. After 10 drinks you can get a free 16oz drink so don't forget to grab a punch card.

Yelp
Stopped in, only a few seats upfront and to the side, a big empty space. it's designed somewhat like a tea selling shop (like Ten Ren). Taiwanese style bubble tea - not too sweet, and the tea has an interesting flavor that is a bit earthy and rich, similar to another tea I've had in the past, but can't quite place. Bubbles are firm and not too sweet, too, which was nice. Ordering was through the kiosk, and bubbles not included by default in the Wanpo Milk Tea, so add a little bit ($0.60) for a serving. Pick up your own straw. You can make it with varying levels of ice, two sizes (M/L) and sugar (0-100%).

Yelp
We came and got simple fruit based tea drinks. Super refreshing and balanced, and the tea itself was good. Designs are cute as well! Service was quick, I'd come back to try one of their milk teas.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
It was a cute little bubble tea place with some stools and a bench. We ordered off a kiosk and in less than 5 minutes got our teas. We got the vanilla bean cheese brulee oolong tea latte and the custard boba milk tea with Oreo. The latte was ok. I got it with 0 sugar so it was a little bitter with notes of vanilla bean. The cheese foam was the main flavor. The custard was very sweet and had plenty of toppings. Solid bubble teas.
google avatar

Emily X.

Yelp
The drink itself wasn't bad. I like that real taro was used, but it tasted old and like it's been soaking for a while. The boba was sweet and chewy. They give you a stampcard.

Yelp
While in the area, I was really thirsty and craving. For a drink. We stopped by here and there are kiosks to order and pay with card. The process was quick and simple. I ordered the Yamamasa Koyamaen's Matcha Latte ($6.75 for large). I also customized my drink with 25% sugar and light ice, which was to my liking as this allowed the matcha flavor to really shine. The drink got a bit overwhelming after awhile though, so having some of my friend's boba gave it a good contrast. P.S. Love that they have a stamp card for a free drink after 10 drinks too, so I guess I'll be back whenever I'm in the neighborhood again.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Yamamasa Koyamaen matcha for the longest time and as soon as I saw it on their menu I knew I wanted it. The matcha latte was great - not grassy or bitter, just right. I would most definitely come back here when I want something sweet and I'm in the area.
google avatar

Cecilia L.

Yelp
The oolong milk tea with aiyu jelly here was yummy and has fragrant tea flavor! Would come here to try the the fruit tea next time!
google avatar

Jacky C.

Yelp
Stopped by here for some boba tea. Appears to be a new shop as I have never heard of them. The aesthetics is pretty nice for the interior. Orders are placed on one of the two kiosks they have setup. I ordered the large Oolong Tea Latte with boba ($7) hot, 50% sugar. This was pricy compared to the other boba shops, probably because they're not a chain. Regardless, I enjoyed the drink. Tasty and refreshing for a cold winter day.
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
A few of my friends have recommended Wanpo to me, so I was excited to try it! I ordered the seasonal guava tea and it was tasty! I got 50% sugar which I felt was a good level - not too sweet but still had good flavor. The tea flavor wasn't as strong as I was expecting but guava is a strong flavor so it may have over powered it a bit.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried Wanpo Tea for the first time recently and I would definitely consider it to be one of the best tea shops in NYC. The tea here is very fragrant and the boba is fresh. I tried the Mini Bubbles and really enjoyed the fun texture alongside my milk tea. The service was very quick, despite being quite busy when I came. The space is fairly small with a couple of bar stools off to the side, making it more of a grab and go spot. The aesthetic in here is cute and I would definitely come back to try some other milk teas on the menu!
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
I first tried this place in Seoul and loved the soy milk tea latte so much I was so excited when I saw there was a location in NYC. This time I ordered the red jujube milk tea and this was delicious as well. It's perfect for the winter and feels so warm and healing, and I love that there are a bunch of longan to eat after I'm done with the drink. I will say though for people who enjoy less sugar, this drink is fixed sugar and might be a tad sweet.

Yelp
This has become my new favorite bubble tea shop in NYC. To start, I quite like the ambiance of the shop - lots of tea containers of legit Chinese teas in cute little wooden cabinets. You just order at one of those electronic machines which has suggested sugar levels that you can still manually adjust. I got my drink in less than 3 min. I got the cheese cream grape drink - I really appreciate that the cup comes with an opening at the top for sipping (which you must do to taste the cheese cream) as well as a separate opening for a straw to drink the bottom layer. Besides the very refreshing beverage, I also tasted bits of grape jelly on the bottom. I'm so glad I stopped by after my dentist appointment - gives me something to look forward to next time I have to head to a teeth cleaning. They even give you a little loyalty card (buy 10, get one free) which I'll definitely be saving and using.

Yelp
I just wanted to note that it's kind of funny how in Korean the name of this restaurant means 'giving up everything' - this is definitely not a Korean shop so that isn't the intended meaning but it made me chuckle a little There's a large digital kiosk inside to order which shows live what items they still have available. Bar stool seating (about 4) on the right when you enter and more against the window to the left of the entrance. The wait time is less than 5 minutes after you order. The main popular drink seems to be the brown sugar matcha with boba but this was sold out when I went, so I got the next best thing, the match red bean jelly latte. The jelly was pretty firm which made it a little strange to drink and also made it sort of inevitable that a lot of it would remain at the bottom of the drink. The regular size is just under $8 and honestly was rather small once all was said and done - I think perhaps 12oz, and seemed to disappear pretty quickly. It's $1 extra if you want either oat or almond milk. They require you to choose 'less ice' - perhaps to combat the issue of not enough drink being provided. Very bright inside - not good for prolong stay due to limited seating - lots of wasted space in the middle which isn't really utilized since most order through the kiosk and not at the counter. Located near Washington Square Park so great for college goers. They provide a physical punch card with your drink, and a separate digital point system through the kiosk.
google avatar

Yelp
We tried the Wanpo Milk Tea and the Apple Iced Tea, and both were very tasty! To order you use a screen, which I personally like since I feel like I can really look at the options as long as I want without annoying the staff (if there's no line of course). The wall art and decorations are cute and it's very open in the space with a lot of natural light.

Yelp
Matcha Red Bean Jelly Latte 抹茶紅豆粉粿鮮奶 - Oat milk, Less sugar, Less ice They used Uji Koyamaen Matcha, one of the most prestigious matcha providers in Japan. It gave the matcha drink a deep, rich green color which hinted at its exceptional fragrance and delicacy. The red bean and jelly added a unique sweetness and textural contrast. There were still a good amount of toppings sinked at the bottom after I gulped my matcha latte. Wanpo has now become one of my fav boba shops in NYC after I'Milky. Tbh the cup size was much smaller than I thought. Yet I'm still willing to splurge on their drink ($9+) because I wanna make sure I'm getting the best quality for my dollars.

Yelp
Wanpo Tea Shop, originating from Taiwan, is celebrated for its unique array of flavors that cater to both traditional and contemporary palates. This includes specialties like winter melon tea, which offers a refreshing sweetness, purple rice tea with its nutty, comforting undertones, and taro tea, known for its rich, creamy texture. Each flavor at Wanpo is crafted using authentic Taiwanese techniques and ingredients, making the shop a hotspot for tea lovers seeking to explore distinct and innovative tea experiences. Wanpo's commitment to authenticity and quality extends to its tea-serving practices, which are steeped in the ceremonial aspects of Taiwanese tea culture, creating a tranquil and engaging experience for tea enthusiasts. By blending traditional methods with modern twists, Wanpo Tea Shop has established itself as a destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the true spirit of Taiwanese tea. Plum green tea and purple rice taro were our favorite What we ordered: Purple Rice Taro Brown Sugar Matcha Latte Plum Green Tea Red Bean Jelly Milk
google avatar

Harris P.

Yelp
They gave a lot of boba. I haven't see see boba shops give that much boba for a long time. It's basically a self-serving store (but they still ask for tips on the screen), there're two ordering machines, very easy to use. They can also take your order but cash only, however, at main time there's no one at the counter, they all making drinks in the back. They make drinks very fast! The shop is not too big with some seats along a wall. Staff is not too friendly, just bring the drinks out and yell the number (without customers name), no greeting or even say thank you.
google avatar

Karen X.

Yelp
I've been here once and the space is fairly small. It's definitely a grab and go place. They have a register and a kiosk to order. I tried the starfruit drink, which was salty and what I expected. I also tried the soymilk milk tea and really enjoyed that. Some pretty solid drinks.
google avatar

Selena L.

Yelp
Dropped by to grab some drinks one afternoon. A wide selection of items, and solid drinks. We had the smoked plum tea and the purple rice taro milk. Both were solid. The smoked plum was nice and refreshing, though a tad too sweet for my liking. The purple rice taro milk came with fresh taro at the bottom, which added sweetness, and, of course purple rice, which added texture. Overall, solid boba spot, can't really go wrong here.
google avatar

Deb A.

Yelp
I got the black milk tea without boba, 50 % sugar. The Hong Cha was on the bitter side and not as fragrant. I am not sure if it's because I got less sugar and no ice that it tasted like that. It's acceptable to me but I've had better ones Wanpo milk tea- without boba, less sugar is more balanced. But they use powdered milk here. I prefer real milk in my milk tea. But so far this tasted like the black milk tea except for the powdered milk taste.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
i love wanpo even tho theyre expensive. I like them bc they have kiosk to order from and their logo is cute. The store is also nicely spacious and seating around the side were nice. They have these combo drinks which already has toppings preselected for you which is interesting. but their tea is good.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
was looking for something refreshing after walking around the city and wanpo delivered! the aiyu jelly lemon tea was a hit in the summer heat. the service was quick & efficient too. definitely would recommend!

Wenting L.

Yelp
Very Taiwanese tea. Also very convenient cuz I can get other Asian food around the area and get boba too. Always my go-to boba shop if I'm around.
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
I ordered the Crataegus roselle drink at 25% sweetness and it was really good and tasted plenty sweet still! My friend ordered the taro milk tea with Boba and didn't like hers that much. The taro gave it a weird (chalky?) texture that wasn't what either of us expected. Quick service but wouldn't get the taro tea again.
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Amazing bubble tea shop with lots of amazing flavor options and topping options. Unfortunately there is no seating, but it's still pretty crowded a lot of the times. Everyone kinda just stands in a huddle in the store. They have two self order stations, but you are able to order in the front or online. I try to go before noon to avoid the rush. It's usually packed when I visit during the afternoon. The drinks usually come out within 10-15 minutes even when it is crowded. I love their plum green tea. It tastes like the Asian plum candies I use to have as a child and is a huge throwback. Their starfruit juice is also pretty good and also taste like a candy I use to have as a child. But it's a little for my liking. They also have amazing aiya jelly. Super soft and easy to eat. Tl;dr - cool flavors, aiyu jelly is yummy, crowded in the afternoons
google avatar

Samantha D.

Yelp
Came by on a whim because I was craving boba. Got a custard boba milk tea. The milk tea flavor was weaker than I would've liked, and it was really hard to mix in the custard. That being said the flavor of the custard was really good. However, it felt a little bit grainy and not smooth overall. The boba texture was great and provided a little bit of sweetness to my half sweetened drink. It's not a bad place to get boba, but I'm not sure I would stop by again to try the other drinks.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
Wanpo is now one of my favorite bubble tea shops in NYC for carrying my favorite dessert grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 embedded in my tea drink. I decided on one large iced lemon tea with 25% sugar, normal ice and grass jelly $6.75. "Normal ice" is not considered normal as it abruptly melted with utter disdain and dispirit. Service is prompt and this time no one snigger or shot a rude scowl look menacingly at me. This location appears do not contain any donuts unlike their Brooklyn counterpart.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
I stopped by here today and got a black tea latte, it was sooooo good! It had the perfect ratio of tea to milk and was sweet but not too sweet. They make you order through the kiosk, which is kind of annoying and makes it take longer than it should. But otherwise the place was good and the tea great.
google avatar

Rita L.

Yelp
Trying this place out, got the milk tea and thought it was just ok. Not that impressed. Not sure if I'd come back to try something else. Order through the kiosk if you're paying by card or with the cashier if you're paying cash.
google avatar

Corliss K.

Yelp
One of my favorite tea places in New York! The tea quality is consistently amazing and I feel like this tea shop doesn't make drinks too sweet (unless you're getting a milk tea). I like my tea flavors strong whenever I get tea and I think this shop steeps for an adequate amount of time without making the tea too bitter or overbearing. Their lines here are always long -- I would suggest ordering online for pick up if you want to be more efficient. What's nice is that they keep online orders in a cooler next to the register. They also have a stamp card if you come here enough!
google avatar

Shirley H.

Yelp
Oh what a big miss this time :( The strawberry cheese green tea was not it. The strawberry taste was watered down almost like bad watermelon slushie drinks and the cheese didn't blend well with the drink either. And yet again, this was only available in large size... Also my friend was going to order a Wanpo milk tea with a request for oat milk but turns out that was not possible because they made it with milk powder only. However, their lattes were made with actual milk so that was possible. It took us a bit to understand when conversing with the staff and we were notified only after ordering. My friend did get the full refund after deciding not to order. Wish they wrote this out somewhere so it makes ordering more easier, especially with how busy it is in the store.
google avatar

Sheena T.

Yelp
Very good milk tea and fruit teas. Xing Fu Tang has some serious competition. As a person who's visited well over 40+ boba shops in my lifetime (i.e. Xing Fu Tang, Happy Lemon, Fantasia, AlmondHaus, N7, Tastea, 7 Leaves, Gong Cha, Vivi, Kung Fu Tea, Truedan, TenRen, 50Lan, Yaya, Boba Guys, YiFeng, etc) I definitely commend Wanpo. I had their green milk tea with boba and my boyfriend had the kumquat lemon tea with boba. The flavors closely remembered one of my favorite boba tea stores, Fantasia, back on the west coast. The boba texture was pretty balanced chewy as well as the sweetness level at 50% was satiating. Definitely would return!
google avatar

PJ S.

Yelp
Cute shop with friendly service. You can customize everything n your drink - ice amount, toppings, sugar level, etc. Wanpo milk tea with boba was awesome and very generous amount of boba. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Gianna S.

Yelp
There was nothing wrong per se with the milk tea here, but it just was not that great compared to others in the area. The main positive that stood out was first how nice the store was - it was incredibly clean and had really nice decor. Also, the service was super quick! The shop was pretty busy on a Saturday and our drinks were ready within 2 minutes after ordering. There is limited seating inside, but you're just a few steps from Washington Square Park to enjoy your drink at. Pros: There are two self-order kiosk machines or you can order at the counter. They have a stamp card to earn a free drink after a few purchases. You can choose the sugar level and ice level of your drink. Cons: The price was high (over $6 for a milk tea, over $7 for a bubble tea). The cups were tall, but very thin, so it felt like there was not actually that much tea in the cup. The kiosk defaults to no boba, so you have to pay attention to make sure you add boba to your oder if you want it.
google avatar

Melissa Z.

Yelp
New favorite boba spot! I've tried my fair share of boba and I was thoroughly impressed by the tea here. Large Oolong Tea Latte ($7.50) - The strongest oolong tea I've had and it was absolutely delicious! The boba was also perfectly chewy. Unlike many boba spots I've tried recently, they're generous with their boba so you're not left with just tea after finishing all the boba halfway through. I also appreciate that they have a no ice option so the drinks don't get watered down if you don't finish them immediately. I love that they give you a stamp card where you get a free drink after buying 10 drinks. Can't remember the last time I went to a boba spot that had stamp cards, so this was definitely a nice bonus. Highly recommend if you're craving some high-quality tea and perfectly cooked boba! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Khanh-Chau M.

Yelp
Another good tea shop with a good selection of drinks! I liked their fruit tea as it was very refreshing and not overly sweet. They have kiosks for you to order at which is nice. It's spacious but doesn't have that much seating so be wary of that. Overall good spot for boba if you're in the area and craving it.
google avatar

Hui L.

Yelp
This was a nice place to get some milk and fruit teas. It can get quite busy as it's in the vicinity of NYU. After reading all the reviews about the quality of their tea, I decided to try their Aiyu Jelly Lemon tea (which only comes in a large size). The aiyu jelly provided just enough sweetness to balance the lemon tea. If I'm in the area again, I would like to try their milk tea selections too.
google avatar

Sam T.

Yelp
This is probably the best iced tea I've ever had at a boba shop. Wasn't really expecting much and kind of dropped by on a whim with two buds since it was so dang hot outside but was blown away by the tea! Ordering is very easy, it is all electronic on two touch screens situated at the front of the store. Service is super fast. Inside is cute and looks like they're going for a traditional tea house vibe, with cute branding as well. Drinks are priced like you would expect at a manhattan outpost. My friends' mango sago final bill ended up being like $9. My tea was $6 for a medium. The tea itself was refreshingly delicious, clear and sweet (I got 25% sugar and less ice which imo was perfect) and there was somehow no hint of bitterness at all. Very unique and clean tasting. It tastes almost like a cold brewed tea would? Not sure their process but it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely return.
google avatar

Marina C.

Yelp
I got the lemon aiyu jelly drink from Wanpo and I thought it was good but nothing incredibly special. I think the lemon aiyu from Gong Cha might be better than the one we got here. The store was bustling when we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon but the wait wasn't too long.
google avatar

Wendy L.

Yelp
This bubble tea place is amazing. It has both your fruity drinks and milk drinks. What makes this place special is that it literally is a combo of all the bubble tea places you can think of - Kungfu tea, Mogee Tea, and more. The reason being is that it has all the unique milk tea drinks like taro made out of real taro, and your essential traditional bubble milk teas. But it also has your fruit green teas and your fruity milk drinks. I personally got the red bean bubble milk tea drink and it's really good! I personally thought they gave me too much red beans haha. Overall, it was a delicious drink with perfect bubbles. I would 100% come back again to try their other drinks. It's located super closely to Washington Square Park.

They are famous for their high quality tea with various options. The menu is currently limited compared to what they offer in Taiwan but decent enough for us to feel satisfied for homesickness. Yelp
New bubble tea shop beside Washington square park. This is one of my favorite bubble tea shop in Taiwan. The store is really big and clean. Staff was friendly I order one of their famous drink, red bean jelly milk. It tastes as good as the one I had in Taiwan. I recommend you try this drink!
google avatar

Yelp
Another vey expensive Taiwanese bubble tea joint in NYC. The drink is honestly very good and stuff-full but it's almost $10 for a large drink.

Yelp
[NYC BOBA TOUR STOP #17] All in all, the drinks we had were pretty mediocre. Most of them weren't bad, per se, but they weren't really great either? We finished them because they tasted fine, but it's the type of drink that I'd probably get if I were craving boba and there were no other options around. I got the Red Bean Jelly Milk Tea, which I think is a variation of their signature drink (I like tea, so I got the tea one, but their signature is the one with just milk). The drink was fine, but I can't find any thing that stands out about it. The milk tea wasn't bad, but it was just milk tea. I think I was led astray with the words "red bean jelly" because I thought it was going to be jelly that was red bean flavored, but it was actually red bean + jelly. The red bean was good, and the jelly had a nice texture, but, again, nothing extraordinary. The drinks we got were: the Black Tea Latte with Boba (1/5), Grapefruit Green Tea with Grass Jelly (4/5), Red Bean Jelly Milk Tea (4/5), Wanpo Milk Tea with Boba (3/5) We'd recommend the grapefruit green tea! *Check out a full review of this shop and all the boba stores I went to here: https://victoriawritesstuff.wixsite.com/website/post/i-drank-20-cups-of-bubble-tea-for-the-people!

Yelp
The boba is decent. Not too impressed though. Maybe there was a high expectation since a lot of my friends recommended it. We ordered Wanpo milk tea and green milk tea. It has more tea flavors, which I appreciate. It is definitely good boba still, it's not watered down and has tea flavors. The milk teas are not too impressive, but I plan to try other drinks in the future.

Yelp
Between 3.5 and 4 stars. Wanpo is a to-go location with sparse seating - they have a lot of indoor space, though, so I wish they had more seats. Ordering is quick and easy with a digital kiosk. I got the iced four seasons tea (called "muzha mountain tea" here) with boba. The tea tasted great, as expected with four seasons (one of my favorite teas). The boba were a good bouncy texture, but a little bland in taste. Price was $6 - it is within normal for the area with inflation. Overall, Wanpo is not outstanding, but it is on par with some of the other boba shops in the area.
