14th Street’s Quarter + Glory Has Shuttered After Financial Issues - Eater DC

"Public House is behind Tribeca’s popular whiskey bar Ward III and Times Square’s renowned piano bar the Rum House, which just did a pop-up in Miami at the Soho House; others are planned for Chicago and LA." - Tierney Plumb

Woodford Reserve was in town for their $1,000 mint julep ad they did the event here. It's a dimly lit bar with lighting by candle light. The food is okay, but you should be there for the cocktails. I had a cocktail that had Cognac and Sherry, it was so wicked good. If you are looking for a spot to get good craft cocktails. This is it! It does get a bit busy on Thursday and weekend nights.

Very trendy spot, attentive bar keep, good drinks, nice long bar for us bar top dwellers, but also nice couches and tables. Gotta know where it is or you might miss it from the outside. Felt like an insider once inside. Very limited bar menu and the kitchen closes early for my taste, but we stayed for a couple beverages anyhow. Enjoyed it.

Very good cocktails. Loud music on a Saturday night with a disco ball happening. Friendly waiters, fast service. Good for after work and just going for drinks. Hard to have group conversations because of the music.

Solid bar that oozes atmosphere through its design. Curtains to block out the troubles of the day and attentive staff are ready and waiting. I only had the opportunity to enjoy one drink while here but it was a well made old fashioned with rye. I did feel a bit like I was interrupting( by arriving early in the afternoon). I plan to return with friends and leverage some of their other happy hour deals. Overall, a 4 star experience without tasting other cocktails or seeing what the bar is like when a bit more busy; but, I will give it the benefit of the doubt.

Nice, chill atmosphere. Exposed brick and wood. Mellow music, not too loud to have a conversation. The hot toddies are just the thing to chase the chill from your bones on a cold winter night.

Still one of my favorite whisky and cocktail bars in NYC. I love that they have an ‘Amaro’ list in the menu with some of my favorites. Not that common. Kudos Ward III !!

This is a nice bar. It was not that busy when I arrived but it has a good atmosphere and good music. The drinks are fairly priced.

It was a great bar to kick start my wedding weekend. My husband and i went to enjoy drinks after JUST getting married. Atmosphere was great and i loved the ambiance. Only downside was being stared down by a group of men behind us who made it seem we didn't belong??. Made us uncomfortable..but other than that it was a great place. And super friendly staff.
