"Occupying a former glass factory in Lawai, this sweet community center is home to food trucks and stands like Roots in Culture (healthy comfort food), Chipwrecked (Hawaiian nachos), The Fresh Shave (shave ice), and Dark Roost Coffee. There are also a handful of cute, local boutiques offering everything from shell jewelry to bathing suits and stationery. They also do storytime for little kids, offer a farmer's market on Friday, and host community events like live music."

They have a bunch of really cute shops. Art, spices, bakery, coffee, and a place or 2 with food. AMAZING COFFEE and the ice cubes are coffee cubes, I love, love this for my iced coffee. Great avocado toast

One of the best finds on Kauai, this warehouse is a treasure trove of foodie finds, cool apparel, jewelry, gifts and more. Great place to get unique souvenirs for yourself and for family/friends back home. Didn’t get a chance to try the food trucks since we came early in the morning both times, but if we were staying on island longer we would have given them a try. You could easily spend the morning go or afternoon here, browsing all the boutiques or sipping coffee from the coffee truck or nibbling on amazing pastries from Sugar Skull. There’s also a sizable library of books you can purchase (on the honor system, leave what you think is a fair price), and the bathrooms are near and cleans. If you’re in south Kauai heading to a tourist attraction, this is well worth the stop. It’s right off the road, and there’s ample parking in the back if all the spots in front are taken.

One of my favorite places to go to cruise with friends or buy a gift for someone’s birthday! There are cutie little shops from clothing, to jewelry, to artwork, to pastries! There are many different options and there is a coffee trailer also located inside. Also, food trucks are outside of the warehouse so if you are look for some lunch, you have options. Parking is fairly easy to find and parking is free as well.

Google
Loved all the shops. Coffee vendor Kind Koffee was my favorite, the Matcha Lavender was AMAZING! So friendly. The Drift I was not impressed $70 for 2 people waited well over an hour after being told 15 minutes. My Huband bought his food at Da Local Boy food truck and ordered Steak which was absolutely delicious and so filling all 3 of us were eating it and finished...our food from Driftvstill wasn't done. The order wasn't correct. The order before us had no meat on their sandwich and had to bring it back. Honestly my Granddaughter got Chicken tenders and cheese sticks, not impressed at all especially for the price and wait time. They were more focused on the bar orders in the back of the building...we ended up getting rained on while waiting ..it was a disaster. Not a sorry, reimbursement for wrong order or length of time...but had no problem taking the $20 tip...

Google
This was an accidental find for me on my way back to my resort from an excursion. I loved wandering into the cute little shops and bought a few items! I didn’t get coffee but liked that there was seating and also a library of ‘pay what you feel’ books.

Google
What a wonderful discovery! Small artisan shops, eateries, paintings, crafts, and clothing all nestled into a large old warehouse. A fun find and easy enjoy. Parking and one restroom.

Google
Great little stop while driving around the island. Inside the warehouse are a handful of little shops offering unique craft, jewelry, and food items as well as a number of food trucks. The warehouse is very modern and clean.

Google
Smelled shopping as I drove by and made a U-turn to check it out. What a great space! You can grab a coffee at the truck to enjoy while you mosey around the many booths full of local artisans. Whatever you're looking for you'll be likely to find it at Warehouse 3540. A great spot to buy gifts (even if for yourself!) whether you're local or a visitor. There are also several food trucks set-up out front as well so you won't leave hungry. Definitely make this a stop!

Yelp
This is an interesting collection of small shop owner/artesian/boutique stores, see my pics. I didn't see a theme throughout the stores, except for their unique store personalities. The owners/associates that I talked with were friendly and personable. If you're looking for handcrafted or a unique gift or memento, this may be your stop. While the food trucks weren't open while we were there, see my pic, this could also be a good meal break.

Yelp
Cute collection of local businesses. When we popped in the coffee truck was in full swing - yay! However, we only got to peek at the assortment of goods for sale. Next time would love to do more than window shop. Great way to support local artisans when in Kauai.

Yelp
Fun place to stop for a coffee or a cocktail. Several businesses selling artisanal items. On your way to Waimea or Poipu it's worth a stop along the way

Yelp
Warehouse 3540 is the perfect place to shop at local boutiques for unique finds! The shop keepers are friendly - they're happy to help find the perfect souvenir or gift for your family or friends. Although the merchandise is priced on the higher end, you won't find products like them anywhere else on the island!
google avatar

Yelp
Whenever I travel anywhere I try to buy local where I can. This is a great idea with an establishment of local businesses. They had a great variety of products. Some homemade and a few appeared to be just reselling off Amazon. Prices were reasonable for the area. Also a nice place to relax and take a break!
google avatar

Manon K.

Yelp
Overpriced tourist trap. If you want to buy $12 honey be my guest. I would spend your money on local foods and activities instead. Zero stars if I could

Yelp
Super cute concept , fun little shops! Lavender matcha was yummy, soaps smelt great and I got a real cute ring! Very clean. Will come back when I'm back in town!

Lillian S.

Yelp
Such a cute place to grab a coffee & get lost admiring all the trinkets and things in the shops. Lavender Matcha with soy milk was my choice today so good only $4!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute spot with modern shopping. This is not a place for souvenir shopping if you are looking for Hawaiian things, however the shop attendants and owners were super nice and they had very nice things! I bought a couple of bracelets at the pearl shop and the shop lady was extremely friendly and suggested some great restaurants around town! Definitely a cute modern vibe, a lot of potential! I wish their hours were longer.

Yelp
I visited here back in 2021 and thought it was a gem of a place with unique finds so it was a must to return when we were back on the island. Unfortunately, the place while still looking "charming" from the outside was really disappointing. The most disconcerting find was the horrendous customer service. In one store the lady never looked up from the show watching on her phone. In another store, the lady just glared out making me not even want to enter. The rest of the stores had staff who just stared as you entered but nary a hello or acknowledgement. The overall assortment seemed mediocre. Quite a few stores had really high priced goods that me questionvalue for price. Some other foods were fairly priced but I was just completely turned off by the sour vibe of the store associates. What a shame as this place used to be a must-stop jewel. Not anymore.

Yelp
Darling little collective of shops, great for bite to eat (food trucks plus dessert spot and small market) plus gift shopping. Good mix of upscale and affordable. Beautiful artistry, fun gifts (loved the crystals) and there's places to sit in the shade. Natural feeling, lovely. Bigger market next door, too, fyi. Will return every trip from now on. Bathrooms there also.

Holly H.

Yelp
Boutique shops in a warehouse, there may be something for everyone. Many of the items were eye-catching, some unique (artwork, handmade pearl jewelry), others not so much (crystals, bamboo stickers). It's a cute place to stop by. No a/c and chickens walk in like they're also shop owners. You can spend an hour here and you nay or may not buy something. There's extra parking in back and tables for the significant others and to wait for their person to look at every. single. thing. The prices are on the higher than average side, which is fine if you find something that is genuinely hand/home made. If it is a reprint of a piece of art, or mass produced in any way, it's really not worth it, be mindful of this. (Unless you love something, and who is anyone to judge for what you love?! Other than your wallet)

Yelp
Warehouse 3540 off Koloa Road is a multi-vendor indoor marketplace. Its housed in an old transformed warehouse. Parking is available out front with more in the back. Gravel driveway and parking lot. FYI. Days and hours open are Tuesday thru Saturday when we were there November 2020. Inside the warehouse you will find unique little curated shops that sell jewelry, clothing, home decorations, baked goods, art, produce and there is also a coffee counter inside a small camper trailer within the warehouse. Right out front are the food trucks. There is Fresh Shave which sells shave ice, Uncle Bobby's which is a Mexican food truck, Kauai Poke Co. and one other that I cannot recall at the moment. The warehouse isnt big but it's a good stop especially for us when we were heading back to Lihue from the Waimea. My girl found some earrings she liked inside the warehouse and we both bought several tees, hats and stickers from the Kauai Chickens store which was located out front. Sadly, it closed that location a month or 2 after our visit. It was a cool little clothing store with nice designs. Definitely worth a stop. You cant miss it... Just off Kaumualii Hwy. There's a stoplight at that intersection so that makes it easier to turn off and get back on the highway.

Yelp
Great space with local artists. This isn't a typical spot for touristy souvenirs, but more unique and local stuff. Great space and friendly vendors. Great coffee van, food trucks, and an urban vibe bar out back along a stream. We spent about 30 minutes here. Highly recommend!

Yelp
If you're looking for primarily local things, you might be left disappointed- my review is in accordance to attempting their summer night event on a Saturday- there were shoe 3-4 vendors not even open for the event which was a disappointment- they would have been the more local items it seemed. I was coming here hoping to find some good local options- it was sadly quite dead when we went- not very many people there at all- perhaps other days are more crowded. There were a lot of unique things but an overwhelming amount of bath/body products- lots of lotions, soaps, etc. The items got pretty repetitive. There were 2 food trucks tkd- a poke and a Mexican one. The poke we tried was very delicious and fresh! Our first time to have poke this visit. Overall, it was kind of a letdown for me who was wanting local and not items made in California, china, India, etc. but it really just depends on what you're looking for!

Yelp
So many local boutiques! Loved the local store Local Beets filled with locally made items. Great stop when in Kauai.

Yelp
Our local friend suggested we check out this interesting marketplace for our shopping adventure. It's a repurposed industrial warehouse housing a coterie of small shops selling quality artisan craft merchandise from clothing, pearl, home decor, gift, and assorted trinkets. We managed to find something for everyone from several stores: a fashionable hat for mom, dolls and compasses for the kids, and a unique little speaker for dad's office. The food trucks on the premise had already closed by the time we visited.

Dave K.

Yelp
What a delightful place! Super cute , with a lovely ambience, locally made stuff, but also a nice modern touch. We only had coffee here that was perfect. Definitely go here during your Kauai trip. Conveniently located on way to Waimeancanyon. Good value for money too.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem of Kauai west side. We tumbled on this place when driving to Waimea canyon national park, about 6-7 miles from Poipu. It is a trading post with coffee, food and art stuff. There are many food trucks, hand craft jewelries, arts, souvenir, etc. There is a cute outdoor seating in the back. They do take credit cards. Closed by 3 pm. Food: Kauai Poke Company= asian and local fares like poke bowl, chicken, pork etc. Uncle Bobby's = Latin fares like tacos, burritos with a local twist. Kick shaw = American food Kind Koffee Company = they have the bombed coffee drinks There are a few more food truck but I could not remember their names. We got Beef burritos from uncle Bobby's. Beef was cooked perfectly with adobo sauce, avocado and french fries. Ahi katsu from Kauai Poke company for $10. Tuna is cooked perfectly and deep fried with soy mustard mayo sauce and served with rice. Lava float latte from Kind Koffee Company for $5.5. The coffee is soooo good. Who would know espresso mixed with coconut and raspberry actually work. We ended up coming back for another round. We also get a tutu kane (grandpa) Tshirt from Ivy & Co store as a gift for our cat sitter friend. Love love this place! So, check this place out peeps!

Yelp
Cool artist's collective on the way out to Hanapepe from Poipu. We dropped by and got delicious iced coffee from the stand there - they had coffee ice cubes which I really appreciated. We toured the shops for a bit before continuing on our way. Absolutely worth a stop! Great bathrooms too haha.

Yelp
Cool spot to be able to check out a variety of local vendors/artisans. The open air warehouse is a haven for creative types and if you come at the right time, there are even a couple of food trucks outside. The shops here carry everything from beauty products, candles and clothing to framed photography and baked goods. My favorite shop was the coffee counter, inside of a trailer. Good spot to stop for souvenirs or gifts, or just to browse and grab lunch.

Cal C.

Yelp
Cute warehouse with a few shops inside consisting of locally sourced and handmade goods, as well as some art pieces. There were about 3 food trucks outside but none were open which was kind've a bummer for us. There is a shop on the outside that is a refillable homewares business (I.e bring a jug and refill your soap, laundry detergent, household cleaning products, etc.), and had many organic options for cleaning supplies - I absolutely love this idea for the island of Kauai. Although slightly more expensive, worth the reward in the long-run of being more eco-friendly. Overall The Warehouse 3540 is a cute place to shop!
google avatar

Erin C.

Yelp
I came here the day before my vow renewal and found a beautiful necklace I wore for the ceremony. The shop was Lily Koi, which is located inside of the warehouse. Several more shops were awesome too.
google avatar

Angie S.

Yelp
A really unique warehouse full of local shops! Warehouse 3540 has a variety of quirky, interesting, locally curated shops. I really enjoyed Lily Koi, a small shop located in the far back of the warehouse. The employee was super nice and easy to talk to a got a gorgeous Pink freshwater pearl bracelet at a great price. I'm a huge pearl person so it's nice to see a shop full of pearls! They had an assortment of grey, pink and white freshwater pearl jewelry. My friend loved the soap shop right across from Lily Koi's called Kahanananea soaps. She was told about Aunty Debbie who hand makes her beautiful and amazing scented soaps. Although it was 2pm, there was a few shops not open, and the coffee shop was also not open. I believe the hours have changed - due to the virus. I hope to be back soon for the Night Market events held here!

Yelp
Cool shops with lots of handcrafted items. Now I know where all the hippies went! Great coffee and food trucks too!

Taeru A.

Yelp
Warehouse 3540 is an old renovated warehouse consisting of 7 shops and a coffee trailer inside, and a couple food trucks and a shave ice trailer (coming soon early march) outside in the front, and an adorable little bar with cocktails, pupus and wine located in the back. The shops inside include Hanako: ALL HAWAII MADE items, Beautiful jewelry, clothing made by the owners mother, and lots of other cute items. The Local Beet: ALL HAWAII MADE goods, treats, healthy drinks and snacks, dried fruits and vegan grab n go while it lasts! Sugar scull baked goods: LOCALLY MADE treats and sweets Sooooo good! Robin McCoy gallery: LOCAL artist , beautiful paintings! Kind Koffee: LOCALLY roasted coffee beans, delicious coffee, LOCALLY made organic bagels, avocado toast and they use a few LOCALLY made syrups too! For all the reviews saying that there's no locally made stuff there, they're very wrong. All the shops are locally owned. Of course not ALL of the shops are going to have ALL locally made things. No market on Kaua'i does

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place when we were looking for shaved ice. I have previously had fresh shave from Long Beach, CA and loved their shaved ice. And knowing that they are from Hawaii, I was excited to go try out the original. When we arrived we came into this quaint warehouse filled with artisanal boutique. On the left of the entrance is where the food trucks are and where fresh shave is. So we proceed to the warehouse. There is a essential oil/ fragrances store that also sell little bags and clothes, a kids store, a home accessories store, a jewelery shop, a paper / print / art shop and a shop that sells items made out of scraps fabric. They are all very unique in their own way. Also all very friendly. My favorite store is the store called ocean paper where they make their own print and also their own water color in rich pigments. It's a very cute and neat store. Not to missed. And they even have a little session in the middle where you can purchase a book off the shelves with just name your own price. It is a place where you can comfortably spend about 1-2 hours browsing eating and shop. Definitely worth dropping by during your stay in Kauai

Christy W.

Yelp
Drove from the otherside of the island to shop here based on all of the great reviews....disappointed is an understatement. I love to support local artisans but much/most of the merchandise was actually not locally made and most of the attendants were too busy sitting on their phones to even say hello. As a general rule, i don't purchase if there is no hello. The exception was the pearl shop. The attendant there was very friendly and she had gorgeous items. Wouldn't recommend making the trip here.

Yelp
This was a great find by my husband. There are 3 food trucks out in the front, Kauai Poke Co., Kickshaws, an American fare type of food, and shave ice (The Fresh Shave). There's also a great coffee spot inside the warehouse. Between my husband, daughter and I, we tried all of the food options which hit the spot after a long morning checking out Waimea Canyon. Inside the warehouse are small shops that sell clothing, jewelry, candles and art, to name a few. They also have a couple of book carts where you can select a book and pay what you think the book is worth which I thought was a pretty great idea. Hours are short but if you're in the area, definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Just discovered Drift Micro Bar at Warehouse 3540. Great spot out back over looking the river. Excellent drinks and snacks too.
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
We first spotted Warehouse 3450 drivIng down the street one afternoon and decided to come back and check it out later. Glad we did! There's a nice selection of artists, artisans, and food options between the warehouse itself and the food trucks outside. I picked up some amazing cilantro sauce, a fragrant soap, and enjoyed a large burger, lychee spritzer, and shaved ice from the various food stands.

Ann H.

Yelp
We spend time in Warehouse 3540 every time we're on Kauai. Each time we find fun new shops in addition to favorite old standbys. There is such a nice variety both in the shops inside the warehouse and from the food trucks right outside. For some reason my "maps" app says they are "temporarily closed" - they are clearly NOT CLOSED! I'm not sure how to fix that, but it's definitely a vibrant, busy group of businesses open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Absolutely a must stop. This place is set up so cool and the vendors have such unique items.
google avatar

Steven B.

Yelp
Support this wonderful retail/food/community center! Second time to the Warehouse and all of us found great gifts, goodies and treats. Nice to see local crafts plus a very thoughtful and relaxed atmosphere. Parking in the rear is helpful...it gets busy!
google avatar

Jim G.

Yelp
Nice warehouse filled with artisan booths and food trucks. Some nicer gifts instead of the same ones you see in every local gift shop.
google avatar

Geena G.

Yelp
Really cool and quirky place, reminded me a lot of southern california, we have a ton of warehouse places like this popping up all over the place. The food trucks outside have very strange hours but all of them were delicious and totally worth a try - especially the Poke! coffee place was great and we even got a book off the book stand which was pay what you feel the book is worth. the biggest negative is the incredible amount of flies in this place. made it very difficult to sit down and enjoy your food because you're constantly swotting flies away from your food.

A B.

Yelp
Nice location in the Koloa/ Kalaheo area. Family shopped while we're in the area. Convenient coffee shop, and 2 food trucks just outside (Poke & Mexican food)
google avatar

Lindsay K.

Yelp
Such a cool spot! Big warehouse with a bunch of small artisan shops inside, as well as a coffee shop and some food. Also a book exchange cart! Beautiful interior and lots of parking around the warehouse. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!
google avatar

Alena D.

Yelp
Decided to check out the shops here after passing by a few times. Adorable warehouse with great shops and great food / coffee trucks! The prices at the shops were good and I found a lot of cute, unique items to take back from the trip. Everyone there was also extremely friendly! Definitely worth checking out!

Molly C.

Yelp
LOCAL HIPSTER GREATNESS!!! Go support this amazing group. I walked in and the vibe was amazing. The shops are super dreamy. HIGH QUALITY HAND MADE GOODS! It's just what I needed shopping wise. We will be back!
google avatar

Mimi S.

Yelp
Sweet little location with local vendors. There is a book lending library and tables inside for enjoying the food trucks parked in and out of the warehouse.

Marge K.

Yelp
Lily Koi jewelry at Warehouse 3540 is always a priority destination when we travel to Kauai. The jewelry is absolutely spectacular and priced well. The designs transcend multiple styles and you will be wearing your pieces when you return to your regular life. Be sure to stop at The Fresh Shave for amazing shave ice. The Fu Man Chu and Imperial (on the secret menu) are flavors not to be missed!

victoria m.

Yelp
We loved visiting 3540 Warehouse on our recent trip to Kauai. It was a great place to find items sold by local vendors rather than the standard tourist trap souvenir shops. A huge bonus was the food trucks which we weren't expecting. We had a fantastic lunch at a taco truck and Vietnamese truck. Definitely worth a visit!
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
Very nice place to stop for some shopping and food. Clean and fresh inside and plenty of seating outside
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this amazing little gem after stopping for shaved ice....by far one of the cutest little artisan markets I have been to. Lots of little shops inside, all local and handmade items. Super cute items, super friendly shop owners, this is like Etsy in real life people! Very unique but usable items, good prices, cute ideas & creations. Loved it here, would definitely recommend stopping by and taking a stroll through this great spot. Super clean, lots of seating, bathroom was nice, parking is ample, goods are one of a kind.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Nice quick shopping spot. Got some really cute bracelets at Lily Koi for only $6 each. Not much in the way of food when we were there around 11:30 on a Wednesday- just coffee and shaved ice. Would love to come back sometime to check out the Friday Market!
google avatar

Rena D.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem of Kauai. There are just a few stores but on Kauai, you aren't expecting a large scale mall anyway. Thank goodness! Machine Machine and Salt&Sea are def worth checking out! I cannot walk out of either one without buying something! Plus, you've got food trucks and Fresh Shave right outside! What more can you ask for! If this is something you don't want to miss, check them out on Instagram. Don't trust Google maps or even Yelp to know when they are open! Times vary, it's Kauai! You are on island time:)
google avatar

Ralph K.

Yelp
A little piece of Brooklyn in Kauai. This place was full of spirit and goodness. The items -- food and art -- were high quality and lovely and well-priced. This is a lovely place to spend a Friday afternoon!

Kevin R.

Yelp
Great people and great businesses! Lots of parking with cute markets, coffee, and food trucks
