The 15 Best Hotels in Singapore to Book Now - AFAR

"A boutique conversion of three 1895 godowns that preserves industrial character—exposed trusses, double-height ceilings, original windows—while introducing midcentury furnishings and thoughtful local design touches like seersucker robes, handmade ceramics, and hand-pleated totes. Opened in 2017, the hotel offers loft-style rooms and mezzanine libraries, a glass-walled rooftop infinity pool with river views, a locally inspired dining program by Chef Wilin Low at Po, and creative cocktails such as a hibiscus-gin Barbarella and a pandan-laced hotel signature." - Charlene Fang

Arrived early and were permitted to check in early. Great bonus. Rooms were super clean and quiet. We had a great time at the Forklift and Pallette. The food was excellent and the bartenders were awesome. Not recommended for a romantic weekend but if you want a great hotel at reasonable price close to all the good stuff in the Lancaster area This hotel is so cool.

I stayed at this hotel 4 times and was pleasantly surprised, and then on the fourth trip. I see 2 charges unbeknownst to me or approved for $110 ... I called and spoke to a manager, and she said, the room had a smoke smell. So they had to charge me to deodorize it. But she didn't charge me the full 250 because she said she was doing me a favor I asked her if there was ever an issue the 3 prior times that I've stayed there and she said no! there were no notes. I had complained when I first arrived with the front desk with an elderly woman that there was a smoke smell. In my room, but it wasn't enough to make me switch.I figured somebody may have been smoking somewhere on the floor.. This hotel caters to a lot of sporting events. people and teenagers of all ages ..After having a discussion with the manager, she said there was nothing. She could do, and she had to trust her. hotel maid manager that the smell was in my room and only my room. I tried 2. Let them know that I don't smoke, haven't smoked and I certainly didn't pick up smoking that week. Along with horrible pillows and bed no water pressure, it made me reconsider staying somewhere else which I do in Lancaster weekly for business..I strongly suggest comfort Inn and suites The rooms are twice the size. The staff is twice as helpful and they have a complimentary breakfast.. Besides being 50$ cheaper a night.. I will never stay at the warehouse again and I suggest you read the other reviews before you make your reservation.

Google
Attached to the sports center which was great but the noise level was terrible. You can hear everything from the lobby, in the hallway and outside. Finally called the front desk at 1:10am to ask that something be done about the lobby noise. So much for getting a good nights rest before a tournament! The rooms could use a serious redo. Lots of rust in the doors and wallpaper falling off the walls. The front desk was responsive with the noise.

Google
Deplorable Housekeeping and Unacceptable Conditions The room was in extremely poor condition — outdated furnishings, broken furniture, and a general lack of cleanliness. Hair and dirt were found throughout the space, indicating it had not been properly cleaned or maintained. For the amount of money paid, this level of quality is completely unacceptable. I expected much better and will not be returning unless serious improvements are made.

I I’ve called several times trying to book a room. The staff I spoke with have been both incompetent and rude. Today I spoke to Tyler, the general manager. He kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes but refused to assist. I’ve stayed at this property over a dozen times. Tyler kept insisting I book online, but I explained I was online and unable to book. Despite this, he repeatedly apologized but would not accommodate the reservation. Even while I was online trying exactly what he suggested, he still wouldn’t help. He became aggressive. This is unacceptable. I will absolutely look for another place to stay. Tyler, in my opinion, should be terminated.

Google
This review is specifically for the shower. I guess I can't speak to if all of the rooms are like this. I tried to capture it in a picture the best I could. The shower sprays to this other side of the wall/bench. It does NOT spray 'down' onto the floor of the shower where a showering person would stand. I'm 5'4, I could wash my head only. When I needed to rinse my body I had to unsafely step up onto that wet ledge on the side. There are kids staying here for a tournament. It would be like a parent would have to hold them up in the shower. It is not adjustable. I don't understand how this is a thing.

Google
Energy efficient rooms? This place is a joke. The rooms are hot and stuffy even if trying to cool them off. The shower is a joke with their lack of water pressure. Do not stay here if you value sleep. Or expect parents to manage their unruly kids in the hallway. Expect to get gased in the face with axe when traveling and there is a kids travel sports game.

We were scheduled to stay at the warehouse for a tournament but had to cancel at the last minute (after the cancellation date but the night before our reservation) due to my son being hospitalized in the ICU. I explained my situation to the manager Lawrence and he would not budge on charging me the cancellation fee equal to one nights stay. I even offered to provide any sort of documentation to prove my kid was in the ICU. Didn’t matter he did they stick to their policy as the tournaments are their only means of revenue. I surely bet they rebooked the room and made some extra revenue for themselves. Take your money and spend it elsewhere as they don’t care about the level of service they provide given the extenuating circumstances.

Yelp
We wanted somewhere to stay overnight while visiting the PA Renaissance Faire, so we booked the package with Warehouse, and we were very pleased with the whole experience! Our Faire tickets and room were ready when we arrived, and the desk staff was incredibly friendly. We needed coffee so early in the morning, and the brew was quite strong. The lobby was lovely, and the restaurant name is a great pun. Our room was spacious and clean with a variety of lighting options. The bed was firm with multiple pillows and cozy covers. The shower had several spots for resting a leg or a shampoo bottle, and there were loads of fresh towels available. We appreciated the television and fridge, both of which we used. We toured the other facilities on the property before leaving, and they're spectacular. As avid disc golfers, we decided to visit a course in the area while we were there. There were a huge number to choose from. There's no shortage of fun in Lancaster! There were a couple of lowlights at Warehouse. The first was literally "low light." We ordered food delivery after the restaurant closed, and the parking lot was very dark, making the hotel even more difficult for the delivery person to find (its location is already odd & tricky to navigate the first time). The lights just weren't on outside. It was so dark that I wouldn't want to arrive late by myself. The second is that the room and hotel were very humid. I'm sure the recent rains were a significant factor, but we also found no ventilation fan in our bathroom, so showers just steamed the whole space, causing rust on the doorframe and peeling wallpaper. Long term, this could become a serious problem. Overall, we had a great experience at Warehouse and would happily stay again.

Yelp
Will be staying this week. Disappointed that there is no on-site breakfast & lunch options. When traveling for sports events time is of the essence then the room has no microwave. They could do better. Staying on site helps with convenience as would easy access to meals.

Paula K.

Yelp
Do that stay here. These people are thieves. I did not authorize a charge on my card. I paid for the hotel on Expedia and I was charged again by the hotel itself. They don't answer the phone. Every time I call oh we will reverse the charge. I asked for a receipt. Nothing. No refund. I'm not going to dispute with my bank I'm going to the courthouse. The refrigerators don't work. I was given needle nose pliers to fix the fridge. The parking lot was pitch black when I was there. The management is lazy. The rooms are not great. It's really weird how to get to the building and to leave.

Yelp
I remember my parents packing up the car decades ago for a last minute getaway to the Amish country. (How did we do this without iPhones and google maps !! ??). We would spend a weekend going to all the unique shops and eating, and eating some more. Just made the trek back for a long weekend. We chose the Warehouse hotel for two nights. It is a modern, unique, fresh, clean hotel that has 5 star vibes. It's located within a popular sports complex. It has a very nice bar and restaurant. Attractions in the region are all within a reasonable driving distance which makes it the perfect launching pad for everything Lancaster has to offer. The rooms are much bigger then a typical hotel room. Very modern. Each room has flat screen, fridge, hair dryer and other amenities - Wifi works well throughout the property. I highly recommend. Note: if you book hotel, the interior rooms have interior views of the hotels inside guests gathering area. Defin would visit again !

Yelp
I was just passing through town and decided to spend the night, so this room (king with sofa bed) was booked via the 'Hotel Tonight' app for $79. PROS When I arrived an hour later, they had all the information ready and it was an efficient check-in. I also like that they use the key cards for the lights in the room. It's environmentally responsible, keeps their electric bill down, and allows them to offer lower room rates. The room was clean and spacious with a frig, and I slept like a log. As I'm pushing through major jet lag, I also appreciated the noon checkout time. I didn't utilize the gym, wi-fi or restaurant. CONS There is a microwave next to the ice machine for the entire floor. For me, if you offer a frig, there should be a microwave in the room too. Especially for this caliber of hotel. Parking. In addition to the hotel and gym complex, they were accepting deliveries from the community for an upcoming event when I arrived and tons of people were flooding in for an evening event as well. There wasn't a dedicated route or parking area for hotel guests. The parking was a nightmare every time I arrived and departed. OVERALL: My hotel stay was actually fine, but I won't return due to the parking. I can only recommend this hotel to others if you don't need to come and go, due to the current parking design/flow.

Yelp
We were visiting the PA Dutch area and wanted a convenient and fun place to stay. We were very happy with the Warehouse. First of all, we're both avid gym goers so we like to stay at hotels with great fitness facilities. The rec area attached to the hotel was spectacular! We didn't do rock climbing but we did go to the workout facility and WOW was it impressive! Two levels, upstairs and downstairs, with a full range of equipment including stuff we don't often see like a climbing wall and pickleball courts - and a ninja warrior section. Our room was perfectly fine, clean and comfortable with a coffee maker and plenty of towels and easy WiFi access. Our toilet did run a bit (easily fixed by shaking the chain) and there was some wallpaper peeling, but those were very minor concerns. The folks at the front desk were highly professional and helpful. They happily gave us change for the laundry, extended our reservation and set us up for the gym. We were there in the off season so the hotel was quite empty and the restaurant wasn't open. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I gave them a 3 star. But let's talk about the good stuff first. We found this hotel in hotels.com for $59 The staff we encountered were friendly The hotel was clean The rooms were clean The common area had water, coffee & tea There's a restaurant on site The rooms were modern and had nice toiletries THE UGLY It was extremely difficult to get into the parking lot The extra amenities they talk about on line close very early. The vending was extremely expensive. The building is noisy The mattress was horrid and felt like I slept on the floor. So the story. We always like to find interesting places to stay. This popped up and was super affordable. We looked at the amenities and saw that Spooky Nook (attached you the hotel) had an arcade, there were climbing walls etc. Getting into the parking was a nightmare. Upon check in we drop our bags and think we will check out spooky nook. EVERYTHING IS CLOSED Like the stuff someone would wanna do, video games etc. Would we stay again? That's a definite NO. The beds were horrible.

Kay E.

Yelp
The rooms at the hotel were ok. Getting to and from the hotel and room were an unorganized mess. There is no organization or direction when arriving at the hotel for check in if you are not there for a sports tournament. We stayed as a very large group for a wedding. When you pull around the back to check-in to register there is no direction as to where to pull in at the entrance of the hotel to take your luggage inside. If you miss the turn you have to loop through the crazy busy parking lot and back onto the main road to try again. I can't imagine an emergency vehicle needing to access the hotel quickly. The woman at the check in desk was friendly and helpful which was a plus. At checkout the only way to pull in front of the hotel to load luggage into the car is to go in the wrong direction from the parking lot (unless you want to loop around onto the main road-again!!). Again, this setup would be a disaster in an emergency. There's also nothing like having the ashtrays on both sides of the doors just as you exit the hotel. The smoke hits every guest that enters, exits, or is waiting for others while checking in or out, kids included. Smoke floats into the lobby for everyone to enjoy later. If you are looking for a place to stay for anything other than a tournament, I'd say skip this place and find something else. I gave it two stars for the friendly staff at check-in.

Yelp
Took our football team to this hotel. We used an event planner. There was a problem with our team meal with the date on the contract. WE NEVER RECEIVED A FINAL CONTRACT. Even though we emailed the hotel our itinerary they still served a meal with NOBODY IN THE HOTEL. We are a football team who purchased 43 rooms. It was obvious we did not arrive since we took up most of the rooms and there were only cars in the parking lot of the employees. The meal was served outside the lobby of the hotel so you had to be totally out of it not to realize there wasn't anyone in the hotel yet. Our team arrived at 7PM and the meal was served at 4PM. our meal was supposed to be the NEXT day! Nobody ever called me to ask where we were for the meal. The hotel blamed the event planner for not communicating with us. Because nobody was there they charged us half the cost of the food and still charged us a gratuity for a buffet! The hotel employees admitted they received our itinerary and everyone knew when we were arriving. We even distributed sandwiches to the team as they got off the bus. Not one person mentioned the meal at that time either. I told the event planner over and over we didn't need a meal on this date. Not only did they make the food but we were never told was there was food waiting because they said they went through the event planner only. We could have ate the food later if we knew and everyone would have been happy. Everything had to go through the event planner. The only time they didn't go through the event planner was when they charged us $3551 without our authorization. No bill no receipt no nothing. In addition they charged us taxes which we are tax exempt for. There was no communication with them until we told them we will be disputing the charge. We will never be back and I hope no team ever goes back to use them. It is a nice hotel but the organization is not good. This was a Wednesday we were the only show in town.

Yelp
Overpriced, subpar service, not a clean facility, and some of their staff are unprofessional. We were surprised and disappointed by this places poor customer service and mediocre facility for high prices. We expected much better. Wall paper peeling in the room, not clean and terrible terrible signage with guards on the parking lot that were nasty to many people trying to find their way into an unmarked Facility. It is like they want you to get lost and frustrated. My 81 year old mom came down to the lobby a few minutes after 9am to get their complimentary coffee only to find out they were told by management to put it away early. Steer clear. We felt like we were staying in the ghetto. Very sterile and also intimidating high security with bullet proof vests and hand guns. No problem having security. But it definitely puts you on edge and makes you feel like it's a dangerous place to stay. And we live in Philly metro and work in the city. Is Manheim Pa less safe than Philly now? Felt like it at the Warehouse. Some staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was decent. Not recommended.

Yelp
Very nice place to get a quick rest or come to to exercise or have the kids do some activities plus they give u 10 dollars for ur kids each to play in there arcade when in the area friendly staff nice and quiet as well mattress just the right type not to soft not to hard I would come back if I was in the area. Came here on a business trip

Ron S.

Yelp
Parking was challenging to navigate around. We've stayed in a lot of hotels and this one was WAY over priced for the quality of the room. Seems like they neglected doing some needed repairs to the room such as screws coming out of door handles, sink faucet was loose, t.v.was low picture quality and the refrigerator had no cold adjustment and didn't keep our food and drinks cold. In my opinion the price should have been half of what they charged. We paid over 200.00 for a night. R Shook

Yelp
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET NEW MATTRESSES! These mattresses have got to be the worst in the industry. Whomever speced these mattresses should be forced to sleep on one for 6 months as punishment. I gimped out of my room the first morning because my hips hurt so bad. It was as-if I slept on cinderblocks. Otherwise the hotel is super convenient, clean and the staff friendly, but this is all offset because I couldn't sleep and woke up in pain.

Yelp
This was a cool hotel- stayed here for a job interview in the area. Pros: Urban atmosphere with a cool vibe. The restaurant was decent (got the seafood bisque and a wedge salad- bisque was awesome, wedge salad was just alright). Free admission to the sports facility which is super impressive. Late check out time at 12 pm. Front desk concierge was super friendly and helpful. Free wifi. Coffee bar in the lobby. Cons: The beds were pretty hard, the bathroom was small with very little counter space, and there wasn't a tub (wasn't an issue for me as I was showering quickly, but had I been on vacation, I might have wanted a nice bath). The phone in the hotel room didn't work. There was a loud buzzing noise in the hotel room that came on whenever we flipped on the lights, which was pretty annoying. I found it odd that there was a fridge in the room, but no microwave. There also was not a coffee maker in the room which I'm guessing was because of the coffee bar in the lobby, but it's kind of a pain to have to get up and go downstairs just for a cup of coffee. Parking lot layout was a little confusing and we had to go back down to the car to put a parking pass in the windshield. All in all- I liked the hotel and it was a good experience, but probably wouldn't spend $200/night to stay here.

Yelp
What an amazingly unique experience . The Warehouse Hotel opened in 2015 .Housed in a former industrial warehouse along with the country's largest indoor sports facility, The Warehouse Hotel is an attractive , unique and fun option for lodging (not to mention the rates are not bad !) The hotel prides itself in being "green" which you will note in such things as how the lighting is controlled in your room , not using coffee pots with individual items in your room, but instead complimentary coffee and lemon water in the lobby just to name a couple ways they save on energy and recycling. The overall feel of the lobby and hotel in general is warm and modern as well as industrial . The rooms are attractive and very clean and have the industrial vibe as well in the exposed metal beams . Check in was a breeze and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel restaurant , The Forklift and Palate continued the same warm industrial vibe and friendly service . The most unique aspect of the hotel is the attached sports complex ! It is known to be the largest indoor sports complex in the country , with indoor courts and fields for more than a dozen sports .(the rock climbing wall and basketball courts were very impressive) . Access is included with your stay ( I think there is a charge if you rock climb ).The arcade was a fun way to spend some time before we headed to dinner. To round out accomodations is a 100,000-square-foot state-of-the-art health and fitness center and a smoothie bar. I highly recommend The Warehouse Hotel and hope to stay again if I am back in the area .

Bruce G.

Yelp
Worst treatment I have ever received at any hotel ever. The restaurant closed before dinner. I was told it wouldn't open again for 2 days! They made me wait 3 hours before telling me my room wasn't ready yet. I finally just left! Just terrible!

Yelp
This is a nice hotel! It's located in a place known as Spooky Nook Sports that hosts many sporting events for young people. The hotel has three floors of rooms, there is one elevator, a bar and a restaurant on site. Ice vending and laundry are available on each level. This works well for those uniforms that need to be fresh each day. Rates are a bit high but they can get it because of convenience. I had no complaints about our room and the service has been good. Housekeeping was not an issue And the parking was adequate for those staying.

Yelp
This was my wife and my second stay at the Warehouse. It continues to amaze me for all the right reasons. I travel about 75% of the time domestically throughout the U.S. My basic criteria for a great hotel stay is: - Clean rooms - Quiet rooms - Comfortable beds and quality linens - Hot water - Black out shades I don't think that is too much to ask. Where most hotels/motels fall short, is their ability to provide a quite room. Insulated from outside as well as inside noise. The Warehouse hits the ball out of the park w/ a 100% check offs. What is most astonishing is the rooms are dead silent. You definitely don't hear outside noise. It helps that the hotel is on a large swath of land near the freeway but out of earshot and surrounded by farmland. It is clear the developer spared no expense on sound cancelation technology for the walls and hallway door. There was a gaggle of giggling 7 year olds, and a crying baby a short way down the hall at 10:30 p.m. A bit beyond the hotels stated quite time. And I asked the adult with them to please move into the room. As soon as they did and closed the door, my room was completely silent! That is the true test. I also love how environmentally conscious the management is and the added bonus that you have access to some of the fitness equipment and climbing wall in the adjacent 800K sq. ft. sports facility. And did I mention it was probably the highest value for the dollar in the whole Lancaster area. I'm originally from there and am pretty familiar with a number of other motels in the area. The only negative I would give it and it is clearly not their fault, is that they are located in a very heavily congested part of Western Lancaster County. But, slip in and out off rush hour and you are golden! Enjoy your stay in the Amish country.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! THEY KICKED THE BRIDE AND GROOM OUT OF THEIR ROOM ON THEIR WEDDING DAY! I stayed at this hotel for my best friends wedding. They had a block of rooms (basically the entire 3rd floor so they brought in A LOT of revenue for this hotel) and it was a nightmare. This hotel was nothing but problems from beginning to end. They told the bride and groom to have their guests book the rooms online. The website was faulty and not one guest was able to book rooms online and had to call. All of the guests were told there was a 2 night minimum for that weekend, even if they only wanted one night for the wedding in the blocked rooms. The overpriced hotel rooms that had peeling paint, toilets that ran all night, and inadequate service and parking to accommodate was awful. On Saturday afternoon while the bridal party was getting hair and makeup done and the groomsmen were getting ready for pictures, the groom received a call from the hotel demanding the bride and groom to come collect their belongings because the hotel checked them out of their room. The hotel staff were rude on the phone and informed the groom he only booked the hotel for one night and they are waiting to put new guests in their room. How did this hotel displace the main reason their 3rd floor was booked?!?! This hotel did not care about their guests, not even the hosts!!! The groom tried to discuss concerns and they were immediately dismissed. The bride and groom have paperwork (parking pass) indicating their stay was booked for two nights, so the hotel made a mistake and did not care and still charged the couple for the mistake they made! They still made the bride and groom leave ON THEIR WEDDING DAY to find a different hotel. The miscommunication and level of disrespect is unacceptable! The best man went to retrieve the bride and grooms belongings and the bride was missing items. At first the hotel stated nothing was left in the room to then later discover the hotel mislabeled their missing items with a different room number! I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay at a subpar hotel that was extremely overpriced! I will not be staying at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone! Do not book an important event like a wedding at this place! They will certainly ruin the best day of your life and cause unnecessary pain and stress!

Yelp
Where's your sneakers? Stayed on Veterans Day and had a great stay. It is an old warehouse - - beamed ceilings & an unbelievable workout area. Most hotel have fitness centers with maybe a couple of treadmills, a exercise bike, & an elliptical machine. Picture this: about 20 treadmills, indoor track, heavy bags, weight machines, & free weight - - including power racks. Oh yea, it's a training center: basketball courts, rock climbing, tons of stuff. Hotel is in very good condition. Our king-sized Room was spacious. A shower, but no tub - - no issue because a shower was perfect. There are quiet hours. Workout, have a couple of beers at the restaurant (12 beers on tap), and relax. Depending on the way you drive into the complex, the hotel & restaurant is located in the rear. Enjoy.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE! If you do, take pictures of your whole room when you arrive. They will give you bogus charges of room damage you have no way to defend yourself. Bring you own AC as theirs will turn off in the middle of the night. Think it'll be a peaceful rest? Think again as the walls and floors are made of paper and you will be able to hear everyone around you. Had nothing but issues since the stay. Avoid the headache and overpriced rooms.

Yelp
If you have a function at Spooky Nook then you can't beat the convenience. It hotel lobby has a modern feel and the restaurant/bar at the ground level serves decent bar food. They are not very accommodating if you need a late checkout. Check in is at 4pm, which is late. The front desk staff can carry an attitude, they are probably numb from the check in and checkout requests but it's part of the job so it could be improved. I find the Comfort Inn across the street to be friendlier more accommodating and less expensive.

Yelp
BED BUGS!! Found bites all over my legs the day after staying there. It was the middle of winter and very cold out, so the bites clearly weren't from mosquitos, etc. Rough sheets. Update: emailed the hotel about the bed bugs just to let them know. Did not ask for refund, etc. No response.

Yelp
THEY KICKED OUT THE BRIDE AND GROOM! The day of the wedding while the bride and her groom were at the venue getting ready for the most special day of their lives, the hotel called the husband demanding that he comes there to get their stuff out of the room, accusing the groom that he only booked one night. The groom tried to nicely explain that they were under the impression that they booked two nights and there must be a mistake. The hotel staff on the phone did nothing to look into this mistake and continued to demand that the bride and groom come clean out the room so they can give the room to someone else. The hotel claimed they were fully booked and could not accommodate the BRIDE AND GROOM. The BRIDE AND GROOM had to scramble on their wedding day to find a new hotel to stay at. Meanwhile majority of the hotels third floor was booked because of these two special people. It was beyond disturbing and disappointing this hotel should be ashamed. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR A WEDDING EVENT! I stayed here for my best friends wedding. She had a hotel block code for us to use when making reservation. When I called I was told there was two night minimum for the weekend, so being forced I booked two rooms as this was the hotel that would have the shuttle for the wedding. When arriving it slightly confusing on how to get to the front of the hotel. The coffee maker in the room was so nasty in the inside, I wouldn't use it to feed the homeless. Our toilet would only flush when it wanted to and ran the whole night. In the defense of the hotel I never did have a chance to call and report this issue as I was in the wedding party and super busy. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR FORMAL OR WEDDING EVENTS!!!

Yelp
Great place to stay if you child is playing at the Snooky Nook Event center. Restaurant and bar were good and convenient.

Yelp
The Warehouse Hotel is aesthetically pleasing upon entering. The Restaurant and Bar are to your left, a fireplace to your right (with seating), and the 'Check In Desk' directly ahead. There is artwork spattered about (if you dig that sorta' thing...) Ok! With that out of the way... WARNING: All vending machines within the Hotel contain ZERO repeat, zero junk food! I'm serious... I understand this being an athletic place but come on. The lazy masses (myself firmly placed within) demand a real selection of snacks.

Yelp
Newly opened in May 2015, this hotel was an old warehouse for Armstrong Flooring company located in rural Manheim, PA. This is traditional Dutch Amish country so the conversion of this structure is an interesting change for the quaint countryside. We stayed two nights Fri and Sat for a large soccer tourney. Arriving late @10p, we questioned the quality of accommodations as the exterior looked like an airplane hangar. Upon entering, I had immediate sense that this was something very hipster - trendy yet simple decor, very open reception area with cozy fireplace and couches. OUR ROOM: After an easy check-in, we walked into a very comfortably spaced room (2 queens and a rollaway for my family of five). Very large refrigerator with freezer section. Sink area was located outside the toilet/shower area with little counter space (not an issue though as there was a wooden rack underneath for extra storage). Beautiful relaxing shower. Room has lights conservation mode using your room key to keep lights on. Overall room was very very nice and comfortable. RESTAURANT: we ate dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sun morning at their onsite restaurant, The Forklift and Palate (creative name n'est ce pas?). Menu offered sufficient items but I found the dinner food to be extremely salty - not just my filet sauce but the fries were overboard. Was surprised. That was the only negative to dinner, otherwise, (now this may sound odd but coming from our area with so many chemicals that over treat the water) the water was delicious! Crisp clean and refreshing. I know it's the little things! Local fresh vanilla ice cream dessert was soooo creamy yum. FACILITY: the hotel is connected to the 2nd largest indoor athletic facility in the U.S. (Per their claim). The hotel gym is located here so to access, we literally walked through a wide door entrance that divides the hotel from the sports complex. It is still new and the large indoor track is slated to open in a week. Multiple volleyball and basketball courts (as a matter of fact they had v-ball tourney going on which was so cool to watch from 2nd floor gym that was open and overlooked the courts!). Trainer area, indoor soccer fields, two rock climbing areas with very unique climb surfaces, smoothie bar and separate food court as well as a nice size gift shop. The fantastic bonus to staying there was that the athletic facilities were included in your stay (except rock climbing but who can beat $15 to climb ALL DAY?!). Oh and there was a pro wrestling match held that Sat night that people from outside can attend. You can purchase a membership to the facility too. OVERALL: solid 5 for creative use of space, extremely comfortable room, and extras included in stay not to mention the amazing Sports Complex.

Yelp
There is no peace at this hotel. While the staff are friendly and the hotel is clean their "quiet time" doesn't start until 11pm. During our stay there were kids running up and down the hallways for HOURS , kids yelling and being extremely loud and constant noise in the hallways. Even with our fan running and the tv up loud it still could not drown out the noise. Even if a family wanted to stay here to enjoy the sports complex you would not be able to get to sleep at a decent time because of the chaos. Definitely would not stay here again! This continued well past 11pm...Who needs sleep at a place you are paying for?!?!

Yelp
Horrible service on our wedding day. Got kicked out my of our room because of reservation mix up. Talked with Heidi and did not do shit. She already had her ducks in a row when we talked. It fell right back on us. We were told from the beginning we did not need a two night stay but when guests tried to book Saturday they were told they needed two nights. They lost out on money because of their stupid rule and not communicating that when we called to initiate things. DO NOT GO THERE FOR A WEDDING!! If anything happens they will just blame their guests.

Yelp
We checked in on a Wednesday because we knew it would be slow... But everything in our rooms guest services everything was perfect! :-) The kids had the best time in the world in the sports center playing basketball and working out! Amazing place to bring a group of teens when it's raining! :-)

Yelp
Great charm and appeal. We came for a training locally in the area. While the hotel and concept is cool, we was extremely loud. We stayed on the first floor and it was incredibly creaky from the people above. If they shifted in their bed, you can hear it. If they walked, you heard it. If they had their TV on, you heard it. The place otherwise was great with amenities and things to do but if you want quiet and ability to sleep in the middle of the night, it's probably not the place.

Yelp
Nice hotel, excellent service, plenty of outlets to power up my electronics and great location for the National Club Championship field hockey tournament! The restaurant off the lobby was great and has a sports bar area with tvs. Everyone we met was very helpful and friendly. We definitely will stay here again the next time we are back.

Yelp
Overall, I found this place to be pretty awesome. It's rustic and modern at the same time, with a striking contrast in decor that I really liked. From the outside, it's sort of hard to figure out. It's a huge warehouse - you wouldn't even know a hotel was there if you weren't looking for it. The GPS took us around in a circle and then we still had a little confusion locating the entrance in the dark. We found it though, and were warmly greeted and quickly checked in. She explained that we needed to place out room key in a slot near the room door in order for the electricity to work. My energy efficient boyfriend loved that. It appears that it controls only the lights, as the AC and wall outlets appeared to do the job while we were down in the restaurant. The room itself was quiet and comfortable. Our room overlooked the interior of the warehouse - which was set up as a big open area with some outdoor chairs, etc. It was quirky and inventive and I didn't mind not having an outside view. Plenty outlets that you don't have to crawl on the floor to access and a mini-fridge for drinks and stuff. The room did have a couple of quirks, but nothing that would be a deal breaker for me. I didn't have cell signal in there at all, which was probably the most annoying part. I didn't find the shower to be too small, but I can see why another reviewer did - the shower arm was bent at an angle designed for a much larger shower and wouldn't point down far enough to be correct for the shower stall that was there. You sort of felt pushed up to the wall if you wanted the spray to hit you right. Finally, you definitely noticed when you put the card in the slot to get the lights to turn on. That system hummed noticeably, which didn't bother me, but it might some others. We visited the restaurant while we were there. The service at the bar was friendly enough, but I wasn't impressed with the appetizer we ordered. The dish was described as tempura fried cheese curds. What we actually got were cheese curds with a thick heavy breading - not at all what you would think of when you think of tempura. I'd skip that dish next time. We wanted to visit the sports complex too since it was included, but we never did find an entrance to it that was unlocked. It was more curiosity than anything else, so we never went back and asked. We did ask some questions about area attractions on our way out, which were met with a friendly and helpful attitude that I really appreciated. Overall, I think the place is nice and I'd definitely stay there again.

Yelp
I had to be dropped off early for a hair show and was only sitting on the lobby couch, a bed bug crawled toward me while I was sitting there. And that's just the lobby I don't wanna know what they have hanging out in the rooms.

Yelp
I found their hotel in Expedia for a great price! Rooms are super clean and beautiful. Very neat that it's in a warehouse. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant food is delicious and everything is well priced. I was very impressed with everything they offered. We celebrated our 1 year dating anniversary here and hopefully we will be returning here for sure!

Yelp
Not recommended! As soon as our upstairs neighbors woke up we were awake! The floors are SO SQUEAKY! And once the sun comes up and the building starts to warm the entire building starts popping! You won't sleep past 5am even if the beds were comfortable which they were not. Recommend that you stay elsewhere!

Yelp
We stayed here because of Hershey Park (20 minutes away). This is a very nice hotel. On top of the availability to use Spooky Nook fitness facility. The facility is huge and eco-friendly. With this combination, a very family friendly environment. Forklift restaurant is reasonable and delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Very impressed with this warehouse turned hotel attached to Spooky Nook, the awesome humongous sports facility. Comfortable, modern and attractive, it makes the most of an interior space. Comfortable rooms, great free coffee and flavored water and delicious restaurant for guests to enjoy. They also give you access to the state of the art gym at Spooky Nook, which is more like a training facility for top athletes! Highly recommend staying here if you have a sporting event.

Yelp
Awesome place to stay! New and very comfortable and roomy. The bar and restaurant were wonderful. The staff is friendly. The room was wonderful, but the only negative is there is no coffee machine in the room and the shower is a bit small. Otherwise, perfect!

Yelp
Stayed here for the first time, after canceling our reservation at our usual national chain hotel, just to support the locals. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but was okay for just the couple nights. However, my concern is with their billing practices. Either the manager needs to be educated on how online credit card processing works (pre-approvals, holds, charges, etc) or there is something else going on here to hold on to your money as long as possible. Going on 3 weeks later, after our credit card (not debit card) was charged during checkout, the exact amount is still in pending status on our card account. This translates to paying nearly $800 for a 2 night stay until THEY decide it's time for the pending hold to drop off. On my first call about this issue, I was told to contact my bank as it's their fault, which made no sense as we use this particular card nearly every month for hotel stays due to travel sports. Fair enough, I called the bank and sure enough it is indeed a retailer/merchant issue. I called the Warehouse Hotel back, and was told the pending hold would drop off after 10 business days. Well 10 business days has long gone. I tried to educate these nice folks that all's needed is have someone with the correct credentials to log into their merchant account online portal, and just release the hold to which sounded like some alien language to them. So I am still sitting here trying to understand how I got suckered into a $400 a night room, until they decide to honor the rate we checked in for. Imagine doing this to all the guests when there is full occupancy at this facility? Lessons learned here.

Yelp
The rooms are nice enough but it was impossible to sleep in past 7am because you can hear everything-and I mean everything-that is going on in the hallway and surrounding rooms. And of course if you can hear them, they can hear you which is another thing to keep in mind. It literally sounded like the people surrounding us were in our room with us. Oh and this is just a personal gripe-the sheets on the bed were kinda rough. I hate that. lol

Yelp
I stayed here in January for two nights during a business trip. I was very pleased with how pleasant the staff was, how clean the lobby, hallways and room were, and how beautiful the hotel's warehouse character was. The price to stay here was a bit high but I found it worth it because of the cleanliness and modern interior (high-end fixtures). They are also eco friendly, which is a definite plus. Without a doubt I would stay here again, for business or leisure.

Yelp
What an efficient and comfortable hotel! My husband and I came to the Warehouse to be close to the Renaissance Faire and when we arrived it was 40 degrees and rainy, so we decided to lay low at the hotel instead. The room was brand new, super clean, and energy efficient. The restaurant, Forklift and Palate was superb. Every detail was well-rehearsed by all staff and they ran a tight ship. You could tell everyone loves their job there. If we had had more time, we would have spent some time adventuring around the sports complex! Next time!
