Where Was 'Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery' Filmed? | Condé Nast Traveler

"The production’s workhorse, where town establishments were built on stage and later composited into shots of Cold Spring, and where the church interior—about twice the size of the real one—was constructed to harmonize with the Neo‑Gothic exterior. It’s also where Il Diavolo, the devil-themed local pub, was created on the Warner Bros. stage in London, down to details like a devil Elvis lamp and a devil Van Gogh with a horn lopped off." - Alex Jhamb Burns

Beautiful & Amazing Experience Before coming here, I was not convinced, I was wondering what we would with my kids, and had heard there was no attractions so thought it might be boring and that we would zoom through this place. How wrong was I! First it is massive, much larger than we had anticipated. There were so many different movies sets to see, it was much larger than we thought. Also the way it is build with two very large sections with the the food and outdoor section in the middle made it really interesting to visit. Overall this is a magical experiences clearly more interesting if you are a Harry Potter fan but really great experience, highly recommended from us!

amazing day out for all the family. visually stunning displays of the props, costumes and sets, and gorgeous art of the process of designing the sets. the level of detail that went into making these movies is incredible. you can take your time wondering around the sets to soak in all the magic of all the different sections and admire all the items on display.

We have been a few times over the years and it never ever gets boring. Ate in the restaurant again, food excellent. Always see/learn something new every time we visit. Could spend an absolute fortune on merchandise but always come away with at least a key ring and a mug as a momento even if they aren't needed 🤣🤣🤣. Wife's birthday today and the member of staff who let us into the Knight bus from Watford junction to the studios gave her a Happee Birthdeee badge and she was treated like a VIP by all staff that saw the badge, which made the day extra special. ❤️ Brilliant day again 😍💯

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter : A lovely walk-through exhibition and studio tour in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, England. The place is simply amazing with so much to see. It will turn out to be even more so If you're a Harry potter fan. The studio tour will let you know how the films are made and how much thought and time goes into designing the costumes, and making the film sets. The studio is said to attract up to 6,000 visitors a day during peak times.

I was always a big Harry Potter fan since I read the books, and last November I went with my aunt, uncle and sister. It was great, so much to see and recognize! I would advise to buy tickets long before you want to go, because otherwise it might be difficult to get any.

Fantastic day out. Worth every penny. The audio tour is a must to get the most of the experience it gives much more insight than just wandering. Butterbeer was expensive but fun ( and very sweet!). We did the 4pm slot and left at 9.45pm. Had 30mins at the back lot which was good value. No need to pay for parking upgrade to park closer. Definitely worth the visit.

Great place to visit, seeing the work and hours involved in the making of the Harry Potter film franchise. Plenty of parking, get priority parking as you are straight in these are allocated at the front of the studio, plenty of toilets and wheelchair access. On the way around your tour are a number of water filling stations ideal for the hot weather with little ones especially. Plenty of eateries also if you do book whilst children are at school it's quieter to wander around at your own pace. Recommended going if you like Harry Potter, also lots of goodies to buy of course.

For my 60th birthday my son gifted my 2 tickets and guide book as a present 🎁. Through having to wait for operations ages so waiting on another i booked this wonderful experience. I took a lot of photos but due to a shoulder and hand injury and back problems I held my phone for as long as I could. I don't want to put any spoilers in but I loved the train although the queue to enter it was just too long for me to wait I would have loved a peak inside but did get see to see Harry and Ron eating their sweets! The leaky cauldron and the sorting hat and all the effort put in with the animals and animatronics were eye opening! There were so many people involved! The great hall, the gringots bank and smoke and sound effects were great and there were a couple of areas that made me jump to the point a little scream escaped me! Especially in the enchanted forest it was so dark! And those spiders 🕷! I'm just glad they don't come into my bedroom at night! The cafe was a wonderful light and airy area to emit some food and refreshments and the the adults a more adult version at the butter beer bar although I did see some drinking a coffee. The views outside were of a lovely start with a bus and the old flying car 🚗. The diagon alley was full of shoes so realistic I wanted to go inside and buy something especially at evanda wands. The gift shop was well stocked but again the queues were extremely long and by this time I was on my last legs. Luckily for me and another couple which one was disabled and in a wheelchair and me with my walking stick 👩‍🦯👨‍🦼 we were kindly assisted and was able to make it purchases. At the info desk I was able to get my wonderful souvenir guide book. Thank you warner brothers for a lovely experience. I'm now at home with a soft drink l drink and in bed hardly able to move but it was worth it. Thank you to my son and family for giving a wonderful birthday present.
