Its near to the palace few minutes walk. Good enough serving food was ok was good and sauce was not spicy which is really good for foreign people dont like really spicy food. Roasted pig skin was not available anymore unfortunately we ate around 3pm probably was already sold out so they substitute fried pig skin on the babi guling meal.

Unsure what the hype is about this restaurant. I dined here around 5pm, and the place was fairly empty. They had run out of the crispy pork skin so we were served some crackers in its place. The pork meat was dry and bland. Perhaps I went there on an off-day, but I would find it difficult to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Balinese and tourist alike says they're amazing. I personally thinks it's okay/normal. I don't understand what'l the hype is about 😅 maybe I expect too much. I liked the pork crackling (usually there's this so I'm guessing it was that) and soup compared to another one I tried though. Its pricey at 104k for one person with drink. Another babi gulung local I tried was only like 25/30k per person. But that was outside of town so... The location was strategic right beside the palace. Can sit down while people watching.

We have been one of loyal fans of Ibu Oka. For me, this is the best Babi Guling in Bali. Our view was indeed shared by the legend Chef Anthony Bourdain in one of his videos. Our favorite menu item would be SBabi Guling Special with extra skins. The food is here is 4.9/5.0 stars. To avoid long queue (especially during holiday season), please try to be at there before 11:30 am. They take cash only (no cards or QRIS).

The pig skin is hard as a rock. The fried pork rind is also hard as a rock and chewy. Perhaps that’s the way it is supposed to taste. Some people might like it.The pork though looks like chicken, is juicy and delicious. I didn’t eat the blood sausage . The fried minced pork is not great. Everything is cold. It’s a speciality restaurant( cafe ), like part of a chain. But we went there because it’s a must try. If I could just order the pork without the skin and the rest, I would come back.

As a Filipino, i have to try this. I was curious with how different it is from the lechon we have in Ph and I would say it didn't disappoint.

We were really keen to try babu guling, and after some research we found out Ibu Oka is one of the well established place for the dish. There are a few Ibu Oka branches and we came to Ibu Oka 1. At around 11.30am the place didn’t have many diners but you could it’s clearly popular with the locals as there were lots waiting for takeaways and Grab food orders. We order a special set with extra skin/ kulit. We had no prior experience with babi guling but we liked what we had. Everything was flavoursome, crisp skin varied a bit in terms of crunchiness and wasn’t heavily seasoned. Overall, we enjoyed the set meal here and would recommend others to try. Just beware it’s cash-only place.
