6 top spots for plant-based food and drinks in Singapore - SilverKris

"A homestyle Indonesian spot with plentiful vegetarian and vegan options, notable for a meat-free rendang made from fibrous lion's mane mushroom that replicates the texture of slow-cooked beef. The menu also includes Indonesian fish dishes made with soy-and-seaweed substitutes, omnimeat martabak, meat-free satay and traditional vegetarian favourites like tahu telor and gado gado." - Dinesh Ajith

It was a treat to be able to have authentic Indonesian food as a vegetarian. The location was easy to locate in the mall. The price was very affordable and the food flavorful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They had a specific lunch menu. To be noted that they don’t take card so I got some cash from the MRT station ATM (the also take grab cash etc.).

First time coming across a vegetarian and vegan Indonesian restaurant in Singapore! Everything’s allium-free, and you can choose your spice level too. The food’s super tasty — you wouldn’t even know there’s no onion or garlic. Really awesome place, worth a try!

The food was absolutely delicious and for fellow vegans, you can opt out of having egg in your food. Almost everything we ordered was very tasty. The price is definitely on the higher side, so plan accordingly before you go. Would recommend going in a larger group if you want to try a lot of dishes.

Very delicious Indonesian food. Is vegeterian but the taste is nothing less. Menu had a lot of items and will be spoilt of choices. Would recommend nasi padang as you will get to try different dishes in one plate. Their sambal king is flavourful and delicious as well!

Super delicious! Have been a regular here for years. The food is delicious and the portions are really good! Even brought a friend who doesn’t usually eat vegetables here and he loved it too

5/5 🌟. The restaurant serve really good vegetarian Indonesian food. The must try food is the nasi lemak which are very fragrance on the rice. We also tried their Orh Luak which is very crispy with the replacement of mushroom as the oyster. Which I have to give a thumbs up to the chef. The lady boss and workers are extremely helpful and welcoming to us and explained the menu speciality in detail too. We will definitely visit again when we are at Grantal Mall Paya Lebar!

Finally made it to their new spot in the east. We were craving their delicious Indonesian food and we’re so glad we made the trip. Their dishes are still bursting with flavour - every bite is a delight! We ordered our favourites - Nasi Gulai Fish and Ayam Penyet. Perfect with their Lemak Rice. Love their use of ingredients and seasonings. Our kids enjoyed their Fried Rice too... practically 'cleaned their plates!

The Indonesian vegetarian cuisine was exceptional, offering a diverse menu with numerous appealing options. Each dish I sampled was delicious, including the King salt pepper chicken (while not traditionally Indonesian, it was exceptionally crispy and juicy), Petai cabe ijo, Ayam penyet (authentic in flavour), Jamur asam manis (a delightful sweet and sour lion mane mushroom dish), Singkong santan, Otah otah, Emping, and a vegan fishcake featuring remarkably flavourful spices.
