Where To Eat Lunch In The Loop

"The newest of these three food halls, Washington Hall feels like an upgraded, sleeker version of your typical mall food court. With 12 different food stalls, there’s a wide selection of cuisines and dishes with spots like Keadkao for some Thai, or Polombia for a Colombian-Polish fusion. Urbanspace Chicago - Review - Loop - Chicago - The Infatuation

"This food hall in the Loop is perfect for a quick bite if you want to avoid all the chain restaurants in the area. Urbanspace feels like an upgraded version of your typical mall food court—they have a cocktail bar and 13 food vendors with a wide selection of cuisines. For a taste of the Philippines, grab some lumpia and longanisa with garlic rice at Isla Filipino. If you’re looking for a new addition to your lunch sandwich rotation, Happy Lobster has a buttery lobster roll with giardiniera and spicy mayo. And if you just moved here from New York, you can even find a slice of cheese pizza you won’t complain about at Roberta's." - John Ringor

This place opened 2021 and the Woolworth Bar is coming soon … they are still open to new vendors right now. So bring your dollar and your dream. The places here are good and varied with Puerto Rican jibarito sliders, soups and salads, Indian food, Greek & Lebanese, seafood, Mexican, hot dogs, Stan’s Donuts, and sandwiches. Seating is plenty but no cheap parking like metered spots nearby. But parking garages are nearby and ofc public transportation which would be easiest. Right across the street from Block 37 which is also a place with some food vendors plus the AMC and rock climbing and private residences

Relatively new food hall. Good range of quality options. You can even find some decently prices as well. From seafood, Mexican food, Asian food, doughnuts coffee, Greek food, and more. The vibe is really nice here too.

Hard to judge only eating at one place "all too well " Sandwich mid. $20 Horrible service playing on her phone while making my food. As for the food hall. It's nice. Seems like some good spots i should have chosen.

Had the worst meal at Happy Lobster. $30 for two tiny pieces of cod and 5 thirty count shrimp both overfried and soggy crinkle fries.

Formerly UrbanSpace Food Hall. They're open for business with limited vendors at the moment. However, they're currently getting in new restaurants. I hope to return soon to a once again thriving food hall. The Happy Lobster is still here and they have the best lobster grilled cheese in town!

Spacious space, have to buy something to get the bathroom code at the end of the receipt. I got Lechon sandwich and it was good and big size.

Good selection amount of food to choose from! The bathrooms, however, are locked, and it was hard to find one nearby. They say the code is located on your receipt, but since I ordered pickup at Stan's, I didn't receive a code. The closet was Target as Block 37 restrooms don't open until 10am.

The food was quite good/nice selection. It's noisy and crowded, a true cafeteria vibe. The gyro fries are enormous!

Yelp
Came here during my lunch break. This is my first time coming here since it became Washington food Hall. I was happy to see Happy Lobster still here! The place had about 8 places you could patronize. Still the places in business offered a variety of options from drinks, sweets, to a variety of cuisines. The space is large and has upstairs seating too. I was in and out in about 10 minutes! I cannot wait for it to fill out more. Please note as well you will have to get a code from a vendor to utilize the bathroom.

Yelp
Went here for lunch on a Thursday. The atmosphere was nice and clean with a lot of different size tables. There were only a few restaurants open so far but I saw that others were coming soon. My lunch was tasty. I'm not sure if I would go again until more places open as there aren't a lot of options.

Yelp
Ahh! This used to be Urbanspace, remember that? This has been under new ownership since November but I just found out yesterday.
