Washington Park Hotel

Two of us just spent 4-nts @ Sonder The Deco, May 24-28, in Rm. #K1210 HUGE comfy 🛌 KING bed, in the Kenmore🏢 bldg. We arrived @ night by UBER 🚘 from FLL, so our room was ready for us upon arrival. ROOM: Very clean, white, bare bones décor which was fine with us. Bathroom was small, but nice. The Shower🚿 was GREAT as well as the AC❄❄!😁👍 Elevator still out of commision, but we were only on the 2nd floor, so not a big deal for us. Ice ❄ Machine in lobby was nice to fill our cooler bag for the pool/beach daily. The front desk staff were very nice, especially the woman with the long hair (didn't get her name, sorry). She let us use 2 beach sandchairs that previous guests had left behind, a lifesaver! Thanks again ☺! The hotel grounds are like a tropical oasis!🌺🌴🌺🏖 Lots of greenery with a nice small,clean,pool. Although there should be more lounge chairs around the pool and less "Bali Beds", as they take up too much room in pool area, but I get it. The Cabanas are nice though!😎👍 The location is A#1! Lots of places to eat and shop nearby and 2 blocks to the 🏖🌴beach (11th St.) Also close to FREE🚞 TROLLY and LOCAL 🚌🚍BUS stops. ||Overall we both enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again!||THANK YOU for an enjoyable 1st stay @ SONDER THE DECO!||See you again soon!|J & T|😎👍😎👍

An absolutely outstanding hotel 🤩 for a female travelling solo from Australia I can assure you this place is amazing!! From arrival to departure I felt incredibly safe with the presence of the security that was around the clock all hours. Along with the added bonus of the police department across the road was even more assuring. The staff were extremely accommodating, supportive and went above and beyond in every way. The location is fantastic, close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bus stops, everything on your door step. Try the amazing bakery across the road as well, you won’t be disappointed! I am already planning my next trip next year and will be back here for sure 🤩

The hotel is great. Amazing staff, bedroom is super comfortable and new, everything is super clean. The pool is great and they offer beach and pool towels.|The location is perfect. You can do absolutely everything at walk distance, there’s a bakery and a supermarket in front of the hotel, and plenty of liquor stores around. The hotel is not noisy we had great night of sleep with no disturbances. The water and ice machine everywhere is a plus. I would definitely recommend and anytime I’m in Miami Beach this will be my place.

My room was basic but very comfortable. Initially my room had an unpleasant odour but this was soon rectified. The staff at reception couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant and the grounds and pool areas were peaceful and immaculate. Location to the beach and eateries was great. My friends were staying in different locations and we usually met at mine due to the convenience.

7 minute walk to the beach. A/C works great for summer times. Staff is amazing & working 24/7. ||Me & my best friend went and realized it was next to a police station. Felt SO safe that we were out until 4am! A good walking distance from everything. Convenience store across the street was super convenient as well.

Overall a good place to stay, great location and good facilities, liked the codes to get into the doors and rooms, saves worrying about losing a key. Rooms were sized well but the floor boards of the room above kept us awake most of our stay, could hear outside the room, next to the room, not well sound proofed at all. That’s the only negative to our stay. Would recommend if you were on the highest floor maybe you won’t hear as much.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have better reviews! We loved it here. It was just my one friend and me. The entire time it was great always felt safe the staff was so nice the room was small but we didn’t mind at all because it was just the 2 of us. The pool is actually really nice and very walkable to so so many places

I must say it was one of our best stays. |This unique hotel made our first trip to the US even more exciting. The pool is amazing, rooms are well equipped and the location is fabulous. It had everything that’s needed and we couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend!
