"Only hotel guests can go to the well-manicured pool at the Washington Plaza Hotel on Thomas Circle (open 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily through Labor Day). Staycationers can head to the royal blue chaises lining the pool, and treat themselves to frozen cocktails, Champagne, and crab cake sandwiches at the poolside bar and terrace that lights up with candles at night." - Tierney Plumb

Fantastic hotel! Parking is $50, but they put it on your room key, and you can go in and out as much as you want. Location is a little bit out of the main area but within distance to do everything. Great pool! Wait service at the pool as well. Rooms were very clean, maybe just a tad small, we had double beds, but we were only staying for a night. Check-in was super easy. Lots of lime scooters all around, used my app, and toured around the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Google
The lobby is exquisite. The pool is beautiful. Restaurant is lovely. The room decor is straight out of the 1990s. The room doors has no deadbolt or door Lach. Will definitely not stay here again. Honestly not worth the price point. I was very disappointed. The staff were kind.

Google
Top notch customer service is the hallmark of this hotel. (That and the spectacular pool!) Chandani and her colleagues at the front desk were professional, friendly and overwhelmingly helpful. Everywhere we went, hotel staff were smiling and asking if we needed anything. The rooms, though somewhat dated, are clean and comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is great. The elevators run swiftly and smoothly. The pool area is an obvious highlight, along with the pool bar and restaurant. They make great drinks and the food is good too. Prime location for everything you want to do in DC. This was our third year staying here and we can’t wait to get back again.

Google
My time at the hotel has been quite nice, but I’ll be sure to return because of the wonderful hospitality. Alemsheti was a standout, making my time at the pool even more relaxing! It is nice when you choose a hotel purely due to it’s proximity to other things and end up having such a nice stay.

Google
We had a two night stay in this hotel and had a great time, the staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms were clean and comfortable and having a pool area was an added bonus. The location is so central for all the tourist attractions and good restaurants. would definitely stay again.

Google
Friendly, helpful, safe, and clean. For the price, it should be. But it really was excellent. The parking is so convenient to be able to access your car anytime you want something from it, and the security is on top of establishing access but in a friendly helpful way. The pool looks amazing. Carlos made sure our breakfast was amazing, and what a cheerful clean restaurant. The people at the front desk went out of their way to ensure we would be in the perfect room for us. The room was spacious and comfortable and gave us privacy even had 2 restrooms. The view of the pool and circle was bright and fun to watch the traffic. Scrupulously clean room. Comfortable couch. Nice lighting. Convenient location too, 10 minute walk or so to sightseeing around the white house or up to dupont circle. We walked at night and lots of people out walking their dogs, going to dinner, riding bikes, very fun area.

My husband stays here all the time when he comes to DC on business. My son and I came here for a charity event. I opted for the deluxe king room with a balcony. The room is great it has a walk in closet and a refrigerator.i love the balcony. The food in the restaurant is delicious. My son and I had the shrimp tacos. I rate the shrimp taco 10/10 chef’s kiss. My husband ordered the turkey club. He always gets the same thing. It looked so good! My son also started with the crab dip and I got a Caesar salad. We thoroughly enjoyed lunch by the pool.

We stayed at the Washington Plaza Hotel for about 1 week for our vacation in DC and really enjoyed it! The hotel is in the perfect location for a tourist that wants to hit all of the sights of the city. A quick walk to several nearby bus stops or the McPherson Square Metro Station gets you anywhere you need to go quickly and affordably. The beds and finishes are comfortable and VERY clean! While the decor may feel dated, I have not been in a cleaner hotel in a long time. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful and worked to ensure you had a good stay. Housekeeping was on top of it with regular cleaning and stocking of your room. I felt the rates were fair for our experience and would definitely stay here again. If you're there in the summer, make sure to pack for the pool area! We didn't think to bring swimsuits and definitely felt like we were missing out.

Karla D.

Yelp
Wow!!!! Ok so the decor is a little dated like early to mid 2000s BUT it's almost like it's intentional. With that said, all furnishings, bedding, carpeting, etc. are like new. Really good condition. And, the place is spotless. The rooms are near immaculate. I even really loved the tiling in our bathroom. The water pressure in the shower is insanely powerful and hot water can get dare I say too hot? No complaints on that front. In fact, no complaints at all! From the door people to the front desk, cleaners, lounge staff & bartenders, to the caterer and servers, everyone was absolutely perfect; so friendly and genuinely kind. Stayed for a conference where we had several meetings, breakfast, lunches, and dinners. We were well supplied with snack and beverage buffet, incredibly delicious meals, fresh fruit, fresh veg, desserts, etc. If you had an allergy or dislike to a food, the catering staff went above and beyond to ensure people were fed properly. The catering manager was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I really can't say enough good things about this hotel. Heck, they even tolerated us having an after-party of sorts in a small sitting area on the lobby floor. Also, the lobby is spacious and clean. Outdoor pool wasn't open because it's March lol. But it looked welcoming and refreshing and was completely clean and ready to go. I'm looking forward to future stays! Many thanks to the entire staff!!!

Yelp
NOTE: This review is only on the restaurant just off the lobby, not the cocktail lounge nor the hotel. I literally walked in later after a day of meetings and asked where the restaurant was, and what a surprise. The overall experience was well worth this stop in terms of atmosphere, food quality and service. Of course, the 1960's interior is neat to me and it is conveyed in every detail. My server was providing truly old school service, which was a treat these days. My chicken pot pie (recommended by the waiter) was just fabulous, really good and filling. My side salad and adult beverages rounded out this lovely meal. Even better, the price was fairly reasonable, ever with Washington DCs over inflated prices. All in all, if you want something a bit different yet also familiar, come here.

Sophia M.

Yelp
The pińa coladas are great. Staff is nice and very helpful. The view from the watering hole is beautiful.

Correy H.

Yelp
Centrally located and fantastic staff! Washington Plaza offers a great experience for a reasonable price. I recommend checking for special weekend deals. The restaurant is a must - even if you are not staying there. Amazing staff, menu and prices are reasonable.

Anne M.

Yelp
Overall a very enjoyable stay! Staff are friendly and very attentive (I don't think I had to hold a door open myself a single time I was there) my only issue is the design of the bathrooms.... They look like something from a hospital mental institution. Felt and looked very much like a public bathroom. Water temperature and pressure was not great. The bathroom floor tiles were very rough and uncomfortable to walk on. Waited for the bar to open in the lobby but apparently it's the outside bar by the pool that's open for the season. Room was much smaller than expected but perfect for 2! Restaurant in lobby has a great breakfast selection. Outside pool was beautiful! I just wish that there was indoor pool and hot tubs. Gym should have privacy glass up. Awkward having people stand and watch me since it's connected to the underground parking lot. Family washroom/showers outside gym were disgusting and smelled horrible. Fish in lobby are perfect beings and I loved them. Would recommend for cheap price

Brian G.

Yelp
Helpful and polite staff. Parking is $43 per night, but there are plenty of other parking garages within 2 blocks that cost only $11 - $15 per night. Safe neighborhood, easy to walk to National Mall and most DC attractions.

Matthew T.

Yelp
Unless you're looking for a Motel6 experience in the heart of DC, or perhaps you long for a 1962 experience in which there are zero amenities, there is nothing to recommend this hotel. Its description is just false: "A balance of cosmopolitan sophistication and casual grace, our resort-like hotel offers spacious, boutique accommodations". There is nothing "boutique" about these accommodations. Those towels in the bathroom are as scratchy/wafer-thin as they look. The shower bizarrely has a faucet allowing you to... sit on the edge and wash your feet perhaps? My laptop has a larger screen than the TV on the wall.

Michael C.

Yelp
All 5 stars for the great customer service and manager of the restaurant in the lobby. Came here for the weekend to avoid driving back home after a night of drinking. The layout of the hotel is great and very clean. Underground parking is safe but somewhat tight if you have a bigger car. The rooms are nice but seem to be renovated as the bathrooms are somewhat small. The beds also seemed small and the pillows weren't so great either. However! The lobby restaurant was awesome. The manager came by our table several times and even took our pictures. I believe they were short staffed and our waitress did an amazing job. The food and drinks were great. Even the water was out of this world. I believe they use a filtering process. Overall it's rare to see a manager step up and help his staff and do a lot of hands on work at each table. Overall a great hotel to stay at if you are in the area. I recommend bringing your own pillows though.

David M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay here. conveniently situated, with comfortable rooms and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. At the price, it can't be beaten and I'll certainly stay here again and have recommended to friends as well.

Rich M.

Yelp
Never stay at Washington Plaza AC did not work - they turn it off in fall but do not account for rare hot day Dated furniture - they had file cabinets as end table One day we had no hot water for half the day - how do you get read for work?

Michael G.

Yelp
Very clean and great lay out. The room my wife and I stayed in was a king bed suite. No frills room. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly. The lounge wait staff and breakfast staff were awesome. Made our DC business trip like home.

Laurie H.

Yelp
Many thanks to Treasure who managed the front desk during my stay this weekend! The first room that I was assigned was not a match for me -- and when I spoke with Treasure about it....she enthusiastically and sincerely responded and fixed the situation! Positive hospitality is such a welcomed thing...and Treasure was truly a bright light! Thank you for caring so much about your guests!!

B Z.

Yelp
This place is pretty basic. One issue was that after calling the Uber, the concierge cancelled my trip and directed me to a cab. It cost quite a bit more in the end to take the cab than Uber. I would suggest sticking to Uber.

Emily W.

Yelp
I had a lovely experience at this hotel in the summer during peak season. Rooms are very well priced. Nothing fancy but clean, large enough room and staff were very friendly and helpful. The large outdoor pool and pool deck are very nice too. They serve drinks and food out there. The hotel also has a restaurant though I didn't eat there. The hotel is centrally located for walking or using public transit to get to popular locations in DC. I would stay here again.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
We stayed for 5 nights for a wedding. We booked 2 room and they are extremely small compared to other hotels. We were disappointed in the breakfast it was very bland and basic. The staff was nice. However, we had isuse with bug bites when we were on the flight home. We went to the Dr the next day, and he confirmed it was bug bites. We didn't receive a discount or a report from the exterminator that evaluated the room. We were very disappointed in our stay.

Mike T.

Yelp
Lovely hotel with a fabulous pool and poolside service. Very close to everything and reasonably priced. Good food and did I mention the awesome pool? Hot hot hot in DC but cool cool cool in the pool! Hotel seems just a bit dated but everything is nice, clean and in good order. If the weather is warm this is my go-to DC place to stay.

Camila L.

Yelp
We want to love this hotel, but our car was broken into during our stay (attempted car theft). This happened in the hotel paid lot for overflow and larger vehicles. Please do your research, this hotel does NOT have a camera system in their lot, nor do they have the proper security (if any). Though our parking was refunded after some back and forth, the hotel staff did not seem to think this was a big deal. (Funny enough, they originally offered to only refund 1 day of parking, because we were only broken into 1 of the 4 days we stayed there, LOL). Like I said, we wanted to love this hotel. It has a great location, and the staff were excellent up until the incident. However, buyer beware. The hotel will quickly tell you they are not liable for anything that happens there. The Washington Plaza hotel doesn't mind charging for parking, just know that none of it is being spent on security.

Frankie M.

Yelp
Nice stay good location and good service. There is so much to do in DC. And its a decent location. Rooms were clean and customer service is good too.

James E.

Yelp
Friendly staff, clean albeit outdated rooms. Low score due to the entire lobby and first floor smelling like piss and marijuana.

Nancy H.

Yelp
Great location. The Washington Plaza Hotel is located right in the Dupont Circle area, close to tons of great restaurants and many of the attractions and museums. It's easy to get to, easy to walk to many places and has an on-site parking garage that is actually affordable. $50 for overnight, which is valid until 6pm the next day! Huge perk!

Dave V.

Yelp
I was absolutely livid to discover that their "Chic and Glamourous International Lounge" lobby bar is closed during the entire summer, for staffing reasons. However, the hotel website goes into significant detail to hype up the high quality of this bar - but never mentioned anywhere that it was closed for 4 months. I feel duped - this is obvious "bait and switch" deception. (See photos). I understand the need to close for staffing reasons, but they need to be honest with the language on their website. Shameful. Had I known that the bar was closed, I would have booked elsewhere. How long does it take to update a website with truthful and current information???

Cynthia F.

Yelp
Overall, great experience! I booked this hotel through credit card rewards. We arrived SUPER early in the day at around 9:30. I went into the lobby and wanted to inquire about early check-in (just asking about early in general, not expecting to check-in at 9:30). They were able to accommodate and check me in that early which I thought was awesome. We ended up being booked into the wrong room category-- turns out when the CC company sent info over, it didn't send the right room type. The front desk "upgraded" our room with no issue after seeing my confirmation. The hotel is sort of dated, but if you know that going into it then it's fine. The walls are thin and you could hear almost any noise within vicinity. The pool was a nice touch in the middle of DC. We sat out by the pool for 2-3 hours and the service was great. Only small complaint was the TV service didn't work. Hubby is very much a put-tv-on-in-the-background kind of guy. We got back from dinner close to 10 PM and I asked the front desk if they had a solution and felt like the woman had a little bit of an attitude. But, the check-in staff was so nice that it didn't impact my opinion too much. Last comment is that parking was a little confusing. We parked in the garage and paid for parking on our room/card after the fact. I asked the front desk twice how that would work (like how would the scanner know that the ticket was associated with our room) and both times got an "oh, it'll know, it'll be fine..." BUT ended up getting stuck when we were leaving because it wanted us to pay. Luckily the parking attendant just let us out, although he didn't look too convinced when we told him we paid already, lol. The overall experience at the hotel was good though, and I would stay again!

Franklyn S.

Yelp
Our server Ali during breakfast was complete garbage level of service-he never came to our table to take our order but showed up to drop the check off without asking if we wanted anything else and when I said I wanted to order something else he said "I just drop the check off and when your food is served" then rushed us to pay for the bill. We were essentially denied service and he walked away when I was explaining our frustrations.

Rachel D.

Yelp
Probably one of my worst experiences in a hotel. Surprised that this is one of the higher rated hotels in the DC area because I know some motels that were better than this. I stayed for a conference, but if I wasn't there for the conference I definitely would have switched hotels. First of all, hotel staff are not that pleasant. It kinda felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Second, carpet in the bathrooms. Absolutely disgusting. Third, no microwave? Why have a refrigerator in the room if you don't have a microwave? Fourth, no toilet paper in the public restrooms. The hotel staff knew they were having a large conference all weekend long. Why were the bathrooms not maintained and fully stocked at all times? Fifth, the ballroom temperature was insanely hot. When asking the hotel staff to address the issue they didn't even bother until several complaints were made, and even then they only turned the temperature down a few degrees, but nothing that made a major difference. Paid too much money for this experience. Will NOT be staying here again.

Cory L.

Yelp
Lordy, I don't know where to begin. This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in in the states for a non-budget hotel. And the worst rating I've given to one as well. I mean, there were no bed bugs, I guess, but this definitely was not as nice as the pictures suggested. The worst was our check-in staff lady (I don't think she's checked in many guests before with her attitude). The policy stated that the person who purchased the stay has to be present for check-in, which I get isn't her fault if that was in the fine print. But she also failed to find the second room reservation despite my explanation and providing confirmation emails, etc. So sorry, I don't believe her when she said my name wasn't placed in the third party (hotwire) comments. Thank goodness someone else was at the front desk with her when I came back to check us in or else I would've been homeless for a night. So perhaps it's not surprising that we got one of the oldest rooms and by the elevator. We took one for the team, but the carpet was torn and grease-stains were everywhere, just gross. And nothing I wanted to have my toddler near. We also heard many sirens at night. A bit unfortunate but maybe normal for DC. I will give kudos to the restaurant staff and the greeting staff. They were sweethearts and very helpful with directions. Anyways, I get dress to impress is a thing but hot d, I just needed to put my kiddo to bed and not deal with confused and belittling staff.

Kelli S.

Yelp
Just got here tonight and so far so good! The hotel room appears clean and as appeared in photos. I also paid for a queen but got upgraded to a king bed at check in without requesting. Check in experience was seamless and Tee, the woman at the desk, was very kind and accommodating.

Javan D.

Yelp
Thanks to Mrs Barnes for maintaining a great customer service at this very nice hotel. California would charge over $400 per night for a comparable hotel. Thanks to everyone for working with us to ship what we forgot in our room at your very nice hotel.

Jeff B.

Yelp
I love this mid-century gem. Clean, quiet rooms. Great staff and a great location. Stacy at the front desk always greeted me - whether I was heading out to dinner or returning to my room. My go to DC-area hotel. Luv this place.

Hugo S.

Yelp
Any Hotel is as good as their guests.... Saying that I have to make this reviews in two parts, Hotel is nice and clean, comum bathrooms are nice and updated, restaurant options are limited but nice and affordable. The pool area is large and clean and have a pool bar close by. The only issue that I had there was upon our arrival on Saturday and after a 4hour ride I wanted to go to the pool and relax but there was a party of guests being so loud and disrespectful to all other party's that no one could relax.(the only complaint I have about this place is that nobody on the staff step up and call attention to the loud guests) so we had to leave and go to the room. The room was small but clean with a large bathroom area, and that works for me since we were there for only one night. Sunday everything changed at the pool area, the loud guest had left and everyone there was relaxing and having fun respecting all other guests, so we had a great time there. The only other situation was regarding the parking cause the garage has a lower ceiling and if you have a normal full size truck you only can park on the right size and then ask for help to exit since you cannot exit from regular parking door since it's only 6,2". They should have a warning sign before you go in

Alicia C.

Yelp
This place is dated. Def gives a 70's vibe. Maybe that's what it's going for. Clean hotel though. Considering our room smelt like rubbing alcohol. I can't complain about that too much, but def overwhelming smell. If I stay longer in the room more than an hour I get a headache from this smell.

Randy J.

Yelp
I've stayed at this hotel a few times, but my last stay at this hotel was not good. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Great location! I got ready to take a shower at this hotel and looked up and saw a spider had come out of the air duct above the shower head! I don't do spiders at all! This hotel may want to consider an extermination process. Needless to say, I won't be back!

Bob A.

Yelp
my family loved this hotel and pool. I really hope they keep they keep it open in September for our return trip.

Theresa W.

Yelp
I would say one of the best hotels we have stayed in! Very clean, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. They have it all! Pool, restaurant, bar... the decor is outdated, but in good shape so I'll say Retro. We have stayed in hotels from CT to WA and some were twice the price as this one and weren't half as good as the Washington Plaza!!!

Karen Y.

Yelp
Work trip got us staying near by... nice lobby, convenient location, friendly service and staff. Overall a good basic hotel. Got a room on the 4th floor. A queen bed room... very cozy size, the TV was kind of awkward... because it made the room felt small... with only 5-6 inches from the end of the bed to the TV mount. The bed is OK, wish it was bit more firm. The curtain had stains on it... don't ask, I also don't want to venture a guess. The bathroom... well, it's dated. I would totally recommend management to spend some money on reno to update it a bit. Coffee machine in the bathroom sink?!? Err... no. I'm good. The toilet paper is also placed in an awkward position not quite right... but hey, if it's for a short stay, you'll be fine.

Lynn W.

Yelp
I stayed at the Washington Plaza several times this year but that ended today. It's bad enough that I had a family of mosquitoes in my room, but to have a rat run from behind the mini fridge and over to the air duct right to the side of my bed was almost as shocking as how I was treated at the front desk upon checking out. While the lady was nice, she offered me nothing other than a "Wow, that has never happened here before, sorry, did you need your receipt for your stay printed or emailed to you?" Really? Very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and caring.

Joyce G.

Yelp
Found this place through Expedia as part of a package deal of flight and hotel. Upon arrival, I was glad to see that it was walking distance to some places to eat but no metro in sight which sucked. They have a revolving door which I wanted to go through, but the doorman quickly opened another door so quickly, I didn't have a chance to even walk towards the revolving door!! It was nice and quiet in the pleasant looking lobby. At the check in counter, they had a bowl of apples waiting to be picked. Loved it!! We were early, but she let us check in early. Score!! Near the elevators, I noticed the business center and it had at least 3 computers, printer, and a large table to sit at. I couldn't wait to use it during my spare time here in Washington. If all the computers are in use, they have a waiting/sitting area right next to the center with a large TV and comfy seats to enjoy while you wait your turn. When we got to our room, I noticed right away that it was kind of small and dated but clean and comfy. Loved the large TV, desk area, comfy bed with plenty of pillows, safe, large bathroom with shower stall, plenty of towels, and coffee maker . LOVED it that they had two free bottles of water!! HATED my view though and the fact that there was no suitcase rack so I ended up placing my suitcase on top of one of the chairs. We explored the hotel during the evening and noticed the conference rooms, nice and clean restroom near the conference rooms, empty pool (it was in the 40s), and restaurant. HATED that they didn't have a little gift shop to buy toothpaste or late night snacks. Would I come back and stay here? Yes, actually I would but I hope they put in the stuff that I found lacking.

S. M. Rahat R.

Yelp
There is no free breakfast. No electric oven or water heater in room. Lift was so problematic. Pool view is nice. To to move in TRB venue.

Sally S.

Yelp
Great! They found my lost jacket and are sending it back to me. This meant a lot to me, for it was a Christmas gift. They have great food a great gym and the windows open. It is beautiful environment. All I can say is good things!

Nory T.

Yelp
Don't understand the bad reviews. Yes, the decor of this hotel is a bit outdated but not crazily outdated. Honestly, they were so great at accommodating us and had great amenities. I love how there was a diverse mixture of guests here and not a "party" hotel. Felt welcomed by all staff. The hotel is in close proximity to a bunch of restaurants, shops and more. There's a Wawa across the street for late night eats, a CVS across the street for any toiletries you forget at home, and if you walk a bit further up the block you reach all the restaurants and bars. Loved the location, and most importantly the outdoor pool. The hotel gave me a "family resort" kind of vibe, and I would definitely stay here again.

Marisa Z.

Yelp
Joy at the front desk is GREAT! Very nice and helpful. We were able to check in early and even got an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The food at the bar is good and comes out quickly. The room is very clean and they even have bath and body works shampoos!! We enjoyed our stay!

S. L.

Yelp
Found a 2" sewer cockroach in the bathtub! The hotel did move me to another room. When I asked if they could give me a late checkout for 3 pm tomorrow (I won't be able to sleep tonight, so I hoped I could have some time in the morning to sleep), they said they would have to charge me another night. What kind of lousy service is that? Stay away!!

Jon H.

Yelp
Cool place to grab drinks in the lobby or poolside, manager is a great guy and bartender is very attentive. I typically go for a few drinks before going to a dinner. Mix it up with the tourists.

Charles S.

Yelp
The only good thing about this hotel is location. I just did a 4 day stay there... can't speak on all employees there but if you happen to get a front desk person who's name I think is Erica,Probably the worse costumer service rep they could have found to represent the hotel. the rooms felt upscale motel 6, small and and so much for no smoking in hotels... the floor I was on smelled of it. No need to complain to "Erica". parking is $45 per day with no vallet service... no need to ask "Erica " where cheaper parking is. i know why did I stay for 4 days because "Erica" said I couldn't get a refund because I booked on booking.com. and refused to let me speak to a manager.

Andrea W.

Yelp
I stayed here for a night, and it was great! Service and front desk was really friendly, and my bed was comfortable. The restroom wasn't super new or updated though. Shower pressure was good but the shower stall was a bit small and not super comfortable. There wasn't a tub and it was just a stall. A strange aspect of this hotel is that at 9AM, there was a knock on my door for cleaning services. I'm a morning person so I was already awake, but that's way too early. At 11AM, there was another knock on my door for cleaning services. Check out is at noon, so I don't really understand why people are knocking on my door this early! In any case, other than that, my stay was comfortable.

George K.

Yelp
I had a pleasant stay until I dropped my ring and it rolled under the bed while I was packing to leave and I had to retrieve it. There were mouse traps and poison packs underneath the bed which means the noises I heard at times were probably not my imagination. Had I seen this when checking into the room I would have immediately left. And they obviously don't care about the customer experience since they didn't even bother to reply to my follow-up email about this. (And yes I have video if you want to see it...)

Marie C.

Yelp
Stayed here for 4 days, it is located in Logan circle area walking distance from CVS pharmacy and a Wawa convince store (directly across the street). You also have restaurants and shops nearby about 10 min walking distance, which we did and never felt unsafe. Across the street there is a small homeless encampment of about 4 tents and there was a young man shooting up in the hotel's back door that leads to the pool (which was locked) You must wear a mask inside at all times and if you happen to need one they will sell you one for $2 so, make sure you bring your extra masks. The room a Superior Queen was small but clean and tidy, the bathroom was also small and clean, the shower had good water pressure. Room service was on point and toiletries were on hand. Bed was a little on the firm side but had a good sleep. The linen ( which I always inspection ) was spotless no hairs or spots. I was very pleased as I have stayed at 5 star hotels and linen doesn't look this clean. I always carry my own linen with me on travels and lets just say, there was no need to unpack them. The lobby is quiet and the bar too, no one was hardly there very boring. Cannot comment on the pool as it was closed when we went. Overall I recommend this hotel and would stay here again if ever in that area.

Yelp
Our stay here was nice, though we didn't stay in the hotel, I check in was smooth and the room was clean, and a nice size. The maid service did an amazing job cleaning. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful with places to go and things to do.

Yelp
To start, the staff was wonderful, Ben and Joy at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful. The gentleman who seated us at breakfast was professional and carried himself well. That being said we had an unfortunate situation that prevents a 5 star. The "deluxe queen" was deplorable to say the least. The shower head was falling out of the wall. The television was not centered. The room was small and cramped. The room was so close to the others I head the toilets flush. Horrendous. But when I said something to the front desk I was able to get the most fantastic upgrade I've ever seen. A newer television, more outlets on either side of the bed, a balcony, and the bathroom was clean and maintained. Though the lack of ventilation could lead to some issues if you have a hot shower. The breakfast was good but unfortunately cold. Had it been warm I imagine it would have been better. The pool and gym were both clean and relaxing. The people staying there were all friendly. But being on the round about and next to two tent camps was not pleasant. But having used uber to the national mall, a 10 minute drive showed the price would be for location, and reasonably. If I were to go back I would still certainly stay, but I'd check which room I have first so I don't end up in the small one I'd originally booked.

Yelp
Don't come here unless you want things taken. Stayed here for three nights. The third night my dinner delivery arrived to the front desk. I called down ahead to let them know I'd be picking up. Staff said they saw the order, but apparently another guest took it?! The manager (Flannery) wouldn't even try to make right with a courtesy meal late night from their restaurant or come out to talk - said it wasn't their responsibility. So out searching for a meal late at night and out $35. I'll be recommending to my business, which has had visitors from our other offices stay here for years and conference session and meetings, to go elsewhere.

Yelp
The hotel is nice and close to a lot of activities. It was clean and had nice staff but the tv in a room with two beds is extremely small. It's a 24in and the parking is $42 a night and more if not a hotel guest. The WH and National Mall are in walking distance or a quick Uber ride away. The room had a slight smell.
