Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park buzzes with energy, street performers, and iconic views. A perfect mix of culture, history, and relaxation in the heart of Greenwich Village.

This playground's in a slightly calm section of the park. It's smallish but has a good assortment of standard playground equipment, including a sprayer. There are organized arts and crafts some days. It's best for little kids up to K.

As a playground it’s good, but not special. It’s well shaded, has a couple of jungle gyms, sand pit, swings, picking tables, and a water spray. The hidden perk about this playground is that if you sit on the right benches you can get mildly high from all the weed smoke wafting over 🤣

Great park with tons of seating and plenty of space, even with a ton of people it didn't feel crowded.
