Would give 10 stars!! Probably one of the best Pad Thais I have had. Every flavor profile was there!!! So fresh. I loved everything about the place. The decor is so cute and fun. Extremely friendly people working. Great prices. HUGE potions. Found them on Google reviews and so glad. This place will 💯 be in my rotation. The portion was so big I will have get 2 more meals out of it. The mango sticky rice was out of this world. I have been looking for a legit Thai place that was not too pricey and I am in LOVE!! CANT WAIT TO COME BACK AND TRY THE CURRY.

Quite a unique place filled with street arts throughout the place. Locate in a small plaza so parking can tough, but there is the neighborhood street parking behind in case. Staff are very outgoing, friendly and attentive to your needs. Big menu but most are typical Thai dishes. Ordered combo appetizers platter, beef noodle soup, pad Thai mixed combo, and Thai iced tea (they ran out of Thai coffee). The foods came out quickly and it hot and it's good, the pad Thai is abit sweet for my taste but my kid loved it, the noodle is abit bland for the broth, but there is favor and the meats are tender and flavorful. The appetizers platter is nicely presented and all are good, nothing really standout like the decor of this place. Besides the great service, the wow factor decor, and the laid back chill vibe, I can't say much of it. I have a 4 for the decor & the great service, foods I would give 3 or 2.5 - just my POV.

The Thai food here is different and interesting and it’s very good. They have all kinds of noodles and soups. I highly recommend a Tom kha noodles or the tom Yum noodles. We also highly recommend getting the pork jerky. It’s very crispy, soft, tender, and juicy. The workers are very kind here and the food came out pretty fast.

the radnah was really good. Noodles were fresh, sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and savory, The pork was so tender. The beef noodle was also good We added crispy pork as a topping. it took it over the top. Would recommend.

The food, atmosphere, service and ambiance is stellar 😍!!! Been here multiple times and it's always awesome. Whether in a big group, twosome, solo or 5 people, etc... Each time your treated with Respect and Luv ;) Every dish is yummy 🤤 !!! I have all as my favorite;). The husband and wife team come to greet you and make sure you are happy!!! With tip and two people dining I was out for under $60 which is stellar in today’s market. I didn’t finish all my food, which is rare — I usually do, and I often help my friends with theirs. So I’d say the portions aren’t too small. They seem to be just right. I had the Fried Chicken and Garlic Rice. It came with broth and two dipping sauces. Nothing was too overpowering; it was just nicely savoury, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Everything looked and tasted great. Service was quick too. Great Thai spot.

The morning glory salad is sooooo addicting and I don't even like pork. But wow! Service was not invasive and the food came quietly. Everything was correct even with us being a larger table. I enjoyed the general vibe of the place and would definitely come back

We were spending the day in this area and wanted some Thai food. Luckily my friend found this place! Located in a small strip mall, you'll find Wat Dong Moon Lek Noodle. You can find parking in the residential area if you can't find parking in the lot. As you walk in, you're welcomed by a lot of art on the wall. Specifically pictures of celebrities on one side and on the other, loads of violet flowers. We started off with the pork belly. It was crispy, yet tender with a lot of flavor. There was a dipping sauce that came with it. Pretty spicy but good! (TIP: dip the Lettuce in the dip. My friend got the watermelon slushy while I got the lychee lemonade. As for the entree, I got the Kow Soi. A coconut curry based noodle with your choice of meat. I got the chicken. It was pretty good. A little dry though I would probably get the pork instead. They also gave me a plate of picked veggies, bean sprouts and another sauce. I can't wait to come here again and try more!

Everything was amazing! My new favorite Thai food in LA! Always have their Pad Thai but this time also had the Panang Curry with vegetables and it was delicious! Think this is the best Thai food in LA!

Watdongmoonlek is such a solid spot. The food is packed with flavor, super authentic, and everything we ordered was on point. Bold seasoning, great textures, and sauces that actually have depth and heat. The vibe is fun and welcoming, lively without feeling chaotic, and the staff and management are seriously awesome. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel taken care of from start to finish. Great food, great energy, great people. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.

Location: small plaza Parking: small parking lot Experience: I ordered ahead via phone call at about 8 pm and they said it would take 15 min. I got there early and didn't wait too long to get it. I paid at cash register upon arrival. Yellow curry came with rice. I chose the garlic rice. Comes with onion, carrot, potato. Choice of meat, I got chicken Pad see ew. Veggies were broccoli and I think onion. Choice of meat, I got pork. Both are solid and I super appreciate the amount of protein and veggies. They don't skimp. Both are yummy but not the most amazing I ever had. Both had medium spicy but it wasn't spicy to me at all. Veggie could have been cooked more because they were still kinda crunchy. Total cost: almost $40

This place is a hidden gem! Excellent Food! The freshest Thai food I have had in LA, the chicken sauté is the most tender, and flavorful chicken sauté! The Egg rolls are very juicy, crunchy in the outside tender in the inside! I ordered beef Pad Kee Mao noodles! I have to say they are the best ones I have had, even better than in Thailand! The spice here is legit, I ordered medium spicy and it was perfect! My wife had Pho here, and she said it was one of the best Pho she has ever had, broth was full of flavor and quality! The staff is very friendly, and the inside vibe is beautiful and chill! 10/10 MUST TRY!

Came in on a whim and immediately met with such a warm welcome and such an expansive menu. The server was really personable and offered detailed recommendations and had answers to all my drink questions. You definitely need to try out one of their slushies. I got the coconut one, gonna try the salty plum next time. Ended up with the tried and true pad see ew with tofu. The food came out so fast and was delicious. And the chili trio was on my table before I even had to ask. Love this place and will be back! Totally worth it.

Delicious Thai food with great presentation that really shows the care put into each dish. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to dine in. Customer service is excellent, and it's a nice touch that the owners come out to greet and talk with customers. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.

TLDR: Respectfully, how was this a 4? Their signature dish potentially being a salty soy-sauce broth sprinkled with white pepper, featuring a few beef pieces with a large amount of slimy fat and a block of noodles... Taking food to go? Skimped, too! (For better or worse.) Pro Tip: If recommended Wat Dong Moon Lek Beef Noodles... please reconsider and get a more normal Thai dish. Maybe they do the classics well, but I do not recommend this one. - - - - - - While walking around the neighborhood, I stopped by Wat Dong Moon Lek after discovering it on Google. The environment was dimly lit but had a few interesting features such as the windowless barrier separating the dining area. Service was standard for a late night sit down, and while being disappointed by Thai food is difficult, I guess they made it easy here... With such a high rating,, it's difficult to think that they could dish out disappointment. I felt adventurous for something "unique" and was recommended their Wat Dong Moon Lek Beef Noodles, their SIGNATURE item. How was it? Well, for the price, I thought it was too cheap, but after the first bite, nope... definitely pricey! The Wat Dong Moon Lek Beef Noodles featured tender beef with a good portion of fat, which I could barely eat - yuck! Surely, the broth must be better... one slurp and ooof that ruined the entire meal? For lack of better descriptions - or maybe an honestly one - the broth tasted like a concoction of soy sauce and white pepper... and the amount of soy sauce? Enough to have me dashing not just to the water cup but out of the restaurant. The noodles unfortunately weren't any better. They were chunked together and tough; ever bite into stale bread? Except this is a block of noodles... good luck! Of course, I had to to-go this so as not to waste food... after all, I'd only eaten half the meal. Unfortunately, after arriving home, I realized that the take-out container was significantly lighter than the amount of food that was left over... where did the rest go?

Came in on a Sunday evening after a day out at the nearby bars. Was greeted with friendly smiles and immediately sat at an open table. We started with the Larb Tod (bite sized meatballs) which were tasty, crispy taro which was lightly sweet and nutty to snack on. Of course we got the Pad Thai, along with the Panag Curry (which had a kick to it). Excited to come back here and try some of their signature dishes.

So I been coming for years but for like the past year the food quality has gone down and the price has gone up, they never include chili sauce and a small flavorless Thai tea is 6.99. Save yourself the money and get something better at Pattaya bay its like 3 blocks away and way better and like 4-5 cheaper for pad Thai that actually has flavor. Couldn't even finish the pad Thai from here today so waste of money

I've been coming here for years, and I can't believe I'm only just writing a review now. Everything here is always so good. I recently went back and tried this white fish soup, and it was light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, not too spicy, just right. The service was wonderful. I never felt rushed or ignored. The staff made me feel welcome, and I got to just enjoy my meal in peace. The place itself has such a fun, quirky vibe, with cool paintings. Nice and clean and overall loved it!

This is one of my family's favorite restaurants. We have ordered from here twice in one week because we can't get enough of the BBQ and spicy sauce they make. So we celebrated my husband's 40th birthday and had a house party and wanted to serve his favorite foods from around the neighborhood. We ate at the restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Since we always order delivery I realized he had never actually been into the restaurant. It is a sleek and modern restaurant with chalk drawings of famous people. It has big windows so you can see in. It is in a small strip mall off of Sunset Blvd in East Hollywood. While we were there eating, I asked if they had catering trays available, and they did! We were very excited about this! We ended up ordering a large tray of the BBQ Pork, Rice, and 2 orders of Pad See Ew Noodles with chicken. The day of the event we went to pick it up and we were about 15 min late, but all the food was waiting there for us, ready to go. We were very excited to get a big container of the Spicy sauce for the pork.. so delicious. All the food was a big hit at the party... the noodles were a lot! We probably could have got away with ordering just one tray. I wish I had taken pictures, but I will post any if some start to pop up.

I used to live close by and was able to go more often. The food and ambience are great. And they also have the best desserts. In particular they used to make this pumpkin crème brûlée that they would actually put in mini pumpkins. It was so delicious!

I haven't had the chance to dine in yet, but I've ordered for pickup and delivery several times and the food is consistently hot and on time. The staff are very friendly and kind. The green curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Papaya Salad, Larb Gai, garlic green beans and pineapple fried rice are all delicious. Can't wait to try more things!

Wat Dong Moon Lek served as an unofficial post-event gathering point for attendees of the Off Sunset Festival, and the staff was friendly. Their red curry is delicious and I had fun nibbling on the appetizer sampler.

Friendly service, delicious food, generous portions, and a warm, homey atmosphere. A lovely place to relax and enjoy a meal.

The food was pretty good but be prepared to leave a tip because they will chase you out to your car if you don't leave a tip they will act like your robbing them out of money after YOU paid for your meal and extort you of of a tip for dining overall would not return service wasn't the best didn't stand out and at the end made us feel like we were leaving without paying for not leaving a tip when service wasn't even up to expectation

My favorite Thai restaurant in LA. My roommate has been talking about this place for so long and I am so glad we went and that I got to have their pad see ew. It is so good, especially with the crispy pork. I highly recommend it. I could eat this every week if I lived closer. For Thai food in LA, this is also fairly priced. We also got the mango sticky rice. I am not a huge fan of coconut, so I would probably pass on this when I come back the next time. The mango is super fresh and delicious though, so if you like coconut/are a fan of mango sticky rice, you can't pass getting it from here. The service was super nice. They were very attentive and quick. Walking into this restaurant transports you to a new place. It seems like any other restaurant from the outside, but the inside is lush and filled with greenery and flowers. It is extremely vibey. There is chalk art up on the walls and flowers and lights everywhere. If you are debating choosing where to eat, come here!

The best Thai food in LA by far !! Their pad thai and papaya salad are incredible. My go to spot for comfort food I love this place so much.

Ordered lunch to go and for delivery, so keep that in mind as my review is based on the food after delivery and not including service at the restaurant itself. I was recommended this place from a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The flavor of the pad Thai was very authentic and the portion was pretty good considering it was take out. Additionally the texture stayed intact even after delivered. It was a very tasty meal. The mango sticky rice was delicious although it doesn't come with extra sauce. The rice was already moist so that was good. I hope to try more of their menu items soon!

This place was such a great find the food was amazing! I had some noodles she asked how spicy I wanted them I said 5/10 to play it safe and it was perfect I could have definitely handled more spice but this was perfectly spicy and flavorful! The staff was beyond helpful and kind. The prices were amazing, and the atmosphere was so cute and aesthetically pleasing! Went during lunch but I could see this place being great for date night or even a first date :)

Food, service and ambiance to our liking. Family had dinner here for the first time tonight. We ordered the Famous Appetizer Platter, Spicy Pad Thai Sidewalk,Kow Soi Noodle, Wat Dong Moon Lek Noodles and Crying Tiger. They were all flavorful and spicy enough for us. Service is very attentive and ambiance is inviting and to our liking.

The noodles are delicious. The vermicelli with curry is mild but divine. We got it with tofu, perfect. The one thing I thought could be improved was the chicken satay. It was a bit tough, overcooked maybe? Overall a good experience and a reliable neighborhood spot.

New fave Thai food stop at the corner of sunset and fountain. I love the cozy quick food Thai food stop that offers great quality food and goofy easy going service. They have the classics and they are all really good - nothing short of being pleased with anything. Got a to go order recently and even in that they shined with their service! Thanks!

Great Thai spot in the queer area of Silver Lake (near Akbar, El Cid, Eagle) so prime to get some Thai food for dinner before going out for the night. Really appreciated the service and how welcoming and friendly they were. The food was cooked well and had all the classic Thai dishes. We came here for dinner after a Sunday Funday over at El Cid and was really appreciative of how close this was. Literally less than a 10 minute walk! The sampler platter was great to share and all the noods were tasty! Will come back here again!

I've been here twice with excellent service and food experience! I'm a huge pad Thai fan when it comes to Thai food, it's just my go-to, and they have one of my favorites for sure. They even have these fruit slushies that are delicious. What a fun time truly! The ambiance is also very chill and friendly, tucked inside the plaza behind Akbar.

Hands down the worst Thai food I've ever had. I'd believe you if you told me that all of this was from a microwave and pre-packaged items. Genuinely, the panang was more water than coconut milk. The shrimp was still half frozen like they'd gotten them from a shrimp ring at Ralph's. Reading the other reviews here is just so bizarre - genuinely, I can 99 times out of 100 tell when a business has bought their reviews and these people do not read like they're faking it, so I'm completely baffled. I tripled checked and this is the same restaurant I'm reviewing that these people are raving about and bro, I am shook. The shumai was hard on the bottom, like it came from a frozen, and then microwaved container they nuked too long. I honestly believe the pad Thai was one of those prepackaged microwave bowls they dumped into a to go container with some bean sprouts. I had to triple check that this was the same restaurant, but considering the lengths they went to in order to get my last review and photos removed, I wouldn't be surprised if they paid people for the positive reviews here.

We went for lunch yesterday and, just like last time, the dishes are wonderful and authentic. Isla, our waitress, is out of this world sweet and helpful. Now, they have a license to serve wine.

I brought 10 people here after we couldn't get in anywhere in Koreatown because I've been here before and remember the food was really amazing! All of my friends comments during the dinner was whoa this is amazing!! This is so good!!! and constant Ummmm! They all want to come back. Every dish was perfect & even our kids ate everything in sight! This place is a gem!!!

My favorite Thai place in LA! The pad thai is my favorite. Also the staff are nice and sweet! I always had great service when I dined in or when i picked up food to go. I dont live near by so dont go often but I dream of the next time ill go get their pad thai

I walked here for lunch today and was seated quickly! (Time is of the essence when you only have 1 hr for lunch.) I loved how spacious and decorated the restaurant looked. The menu was brought out quickly and they gave us the appropriate time to look at the menu. I ended up getting their street pad Thai that had some small pieces of pork belly and they can make it spicy! It was delicious! I would come back even if it's just to pick up their lunch specials. I appreciate good Thai food walking distance from work. Even if you had to drive there is a shared plaza parking lot that had spots on a weekday. Bonus: there's a lunch special menu if you're interested!

Spicy Basil has literally two leaves of basil. Was fiiiilled with green beans instead. Weird. So flavorless I had to add soy sauce to my servings. The chicken tasted... old? Poor quality? Idk, just gross. Only heat was from dried chili flakes thrown in, no thai chilies. Yellow curry wasn't yellow, and again with the gross chicken. Fine otherwise. Just fine. Gotta do these reviews - truthfully- just as a reminder to myself, so I don't accidentally order from this place again.

Awesome food and ambience. Ordered the beef pho (not pictured, ate it too fast) and the fried chicken which were both delicious. Can also recommend the pineapple basil sushi, fruity and light. Great location, true definition of a hidden gem. Will be back soon!

Came here during a weekday around lunch time. Service was quick and kind. I had the khao soi and it hit the spot. Broth was flavorful and it had the right amount of noodles and meat. Lots of steady foot traffic from people that seemed to me on their lunch breaks so you know it's a good spot. Check it out for some good Thai food!

Delicious Thai food with fresh ingredients! I stopped by to pick up some take-out after seeing the reviews and pictures of the food. The inside of the restaurant was well decorated with Thai theme, but what's surprising was how spacious the place was-I wouldn't have guess from the outside! They also have a patio area if you're looking for Al fresco. They have your traditional Thai dishes at reasonable prices, and I love that the papaya salad had actual shrimp included. I also got the Kee Mao noodles for that fresh basil flavor. They also have slushies/smoothies available but I didn't get a chance to try one. The service was great, and were really accommodating and asked if I needed utensils. I also asked for paper plates to share the dishes, and they happily provided those for me. I would definitely stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood.

Still the best Thai food in LA! From the food to the service, Wat Dong always delivers. Jenny is always there with a smile, ensuring everything is perfect! I no longer live anywhere near this neighborhood, but always manage to find my way back to enjoy! Highly recommend!

It's very possible that I ordered something that wasn't their top specialty but I did go for the Wat Dong Moon Lek beef noodle soup and wasn't super impressed to be honest. It seemed to lack flavor overall, and the beef wasn't very tender / had some chew to some of the pieces. Their drinks were alright and I had the watermelon juice on the rocks, which was a nice presentation and met expectations. The service was very nice, although a bit understaffed even with the restaurant not being close to full. Parking is a bit tough but you may be able to snag a spot outside the small lot in front if you get here early enough.
