Skip traffic and sightsee the canals aboard the local Water Taxi. Recommended by Condé Nast Traveler and Visit Lauderdale, it links Las Olas, the beach, marinas, and parks — a relaxing way to experience the “Venice of America.”

Fun and informative way to explore the Ft. Lauderdale waterways. The guide shared interesting and funny stories about the luxury homes. We bought a pass for the whole day so we could hop on and off. The only challenge is that the online schedule was not accurate. We just showed up at a stop and hoped it would come soon. Definitely worth the experience!

This company has potential and the ride was great and the first boat we were on had a great guide who was fun. The problem is you just don't know where each boat is going. We got on a boat at the It's Five o'clock somewhere stop, but it was an Express boat and it only took us to one place and then we had to get off and get on another boat and then that took us to another place and we had to get off and get on another boat. Very confusing. Nothing really on their brochure. I couldn't get service so I couldn't try to look it up using my phone so just confusing they could do better. Post maps ON the boat with stops.

Fun water ride and tour of Fort Lauderdale area. Cool concept, plenty of seating, good tour guides and commentary while aboard. Captain and crew were nice and explained the stops and sights well. Purchased tickets in advance online with ease, quickly received an email with barcodes to provide for scanning. While on board there was mention of a cooler with a variety of drinks available for purchase. Our rides were smooth, and did not have any real issues. We did encounter differing personalities with the crew of different boats throughout the day. (Some were fun and relaxed, while others were snippy - we are all human, I get it.) All in all a fun experience and would try again in the future when visiting the area.

Cool experience! We boarded the water taxi near our hotel. The water taxi makes ten stops and provide a little humor and history along the ride. Each stop has “excursions” that you can board, enjoy and onboard when you’re ready, for one price for the day. The water taxi runs from 10:00am to 10:00 pm, every half hour. This mode of transportation gives you a break from the street traffic. The price is worth the experience.

Everytime I have guests in town this is the number one attraction I take them on. For $35 a day you get to tour Fort Lauderdale with a guided tour giving you such great info about the area and homes. You can hop off and enjoy the stops then catch the next one all day. Why battle the traffic when you can just enjoy the incredible waterways like this.

TLTR. Do not rely on this as a reliable way of transport or bar hopping and plan on it, taking much longer than you expect. I am extremely disappointed with the service. Had to wait over an hour and a half for the correct taxi to show up. Four other taxis showed up but said they were going the wrong way. Called the phone number to check the status and was told there was no set schedule, and they would show up when they showed up. When the correct one did show up, it was packed full, and so was the one right behind it. Finally, a third one showed up it was just as packed but was able to squeeze in. I am not sure how this could be so unorganized in 2025, but here we are. Really, it was too bad since the trip out was very good and the tour guide was fantastic.

This is a great way to see the intercoastal waterway and travel around Ft. Lauderdale and even down to Hollywood Beach. The tour guides are very entertaining, and have great knowledge of the area. Make sure of traveling to Hollywood Beach to sync up your times because it does not run as often. Also if you should lose your phone with your ticket on it, they are able to look it up.

Great ride on a rainy day. The tour guides were very informative. All the rich people's houses and giant boats. It was a great way to spend the day.
