My family and I visited Watercolor over the 4th of July holiday. It had been recommended to us and it did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations. The beach is stunning (powder sand, clear water), and the amenities are exceptional. Multiple pools (and waterslides for kids), bikes, kayaks, cute shops & restaurants. We didn’t need to leave the resort for anything. The customer service was 10/10 in every way. We can’t wait to return!

My family had the most wonderful time and experience at Watercolor Resort. Everything about our stay was top tier but especially the staff were all friendly and attentive. It was our 10 year anniversary and we were so specially taken care of by the resort. Randy, who is one of the friendly faces to greet you as you enter was just terrific. We all agreed he made our trip! He helped with recommendations, reservations, resort needs and special gifts for our anniversary, among many other things. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Pleasant, laid back vibe. You can easily walk or bike to many places; but, if you want to venture further it’s an easy drive to many other locations: Watersound, Rosemary, & Alys beaches, as well as shopping in Sandestin.||The rooms are comfortable (no desks though for those who still need to do some work, and no business center), bathrooms have nice, big showers with dual shower heads and double sink vanities.||The staff we encountered were all fantastic :-)||This was our first stay at Watercolor Inn and we would not hesitate to return!

Another Fantastic visit! This was our second trip to Watercolor and the place has grown and changed and is still top notch and has even more to offer now. We were there for July 4th and had an unbelievable fireworks show we could see from our balcony. Watercolor is a large community and there are single family homes as well as the "Inn" which is a small hotel, and countless amenities and activities. The grounds are absolutely immaculate and the staff is top notch consistently. I can't say enough about the staff members. Plenty of great quality food options and we really enjoyed the complimentary snack room to grab a few snacks, coffee, etc. They have several pools and an adult pool for those traveling without kids and wanting more of an adult experience. My daughter loved Camp Water Color which is new (and not truly a "camp", kids need to be supervised, but a great addition). If I had to offer one suggestion it would be more chairs at Camp Water Color as there seemed to be plenty of space for them and all chairs were occupied. Beach area is super nice and well maintained and not overly crowded as it's a small resort. Highly recommend.

This place was beautiful! I took my daughter on a date to the park located close by and we loved it. We ran around in the sprinklers, walked around all the pretty flowers and just hung out for a while. I am not quite sure how the Inn is because we just stayed in a rental close by, but the Park is a 10/10.

Google
We had a wonderful time at this lovely resort. All the staff were courteous and friendly. Housekeeping was great, which is important to me. Lots to do if you want, or just totally relax. My one criticism is that the inn does not have a spa.

Our stay here was truly amazing. We actually stayed here one night before a stay at another resort, but we missed Watercolor Inn so much, we revised our reservation and moved back! I took my three children while my husband oversaw some home renovations. I thought it would be a chaotic trip, but the staff and accommodations here made everything so easy. The hotel staff accommodated an early check-in for my child's naptime, which started our trip out with such a relief. Even if they cannot do an early check in, they hold your bags while you can get started enjoying the amenities. The pull-out couch had everything we needed to get setup upon arrival and it was so big that all three kiddos napped on it one day. The beach was so insanely close to our back door as well as the pool that getting the kids out and about to start the fun was a breeze. The food and drink options for both the children and myself were perfect. The staff was always offering to help open doors, carry bags, bring food/drink to whatever table was easiest, etc. They were also very patient with my young children being a bit loud and overly excited the entire trip! We took the trolley to Camp Watercolor, which again, was just so easy and fun. We walked to get coffee and lizard hunt each morning. We listened to live music overlooking the pool while we enjoyed Shirly Temples. It was all dreamy! The bathroom had a double vanity and a very large shower making washing the day off and preparing for bedtime so easy. We had a mini fridge for their milk, and there was a Treat Suite for anytime the kiddos needed a snack between meals. I am telling you- this hotel thought of EVERYTHING! They even had Uno in the room for our last night when it rained. We didn't want to leave, and we got back yesterday and already want to come back. The trip would not have been what it was without the staff at the front desk to help answer all my questions, the valet team who helped with so much and even had our car pulled up at the front of the hotel for our 5am departure the last morning, and the restaurant/bar staff who whipped up both a double shot espresso and Shirly Temples with Sweedish Fish swimming in them when I needed a moment of peace!

Google
Wonderful hotel, staff was very friendly and welcoming! It was very easy to valet and check in was a breeze. The staff was very knowledgeable in the area and had great recommendations for us. The rooms are very comfortable and most importantly, the hotel rooms are VERY CLEAN!! The staff was very accommodating.

Yelp
INCREDIBLE!!! If you're coming to Seaside, this is where you need to stay. Family friendly, new couple friendly, anyone looking for a good time friendly. Went with my boyfriend and we had everything we could have ever wanted- open container into the seaside shopping district, so many food options, the cutest shoppes, great pools, beautiful beach, etc! Chris and Randy were very helpful at check in with dining recommendations, Jonah and Colton were great down at the beach helping set up our chairs. Be sure to take advantage of the private beach- FYI they don't bring the food and drink to you but there's a pick up spot right next to the chair booth. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
The Inn is fabulous. Service and front desk staff is fabulous. Treat suites on every floor is a great addition. The turn down service with baked goods at night is very nice, as is the pool and the workers. Always clean every time we stay. Saying all that & having stayed here several times, I will say we won't be back. So any watercolor resident (hundreds of housing units behind & surrounding Watercolor Inn) can use the beach, bars, the pools (you do get one pool out front to the inn guests only) and the beach in front of the hotel makes it a zoo. The past few days out front have been a disaster. To pay so much to stay at the beach and have it filled with others that aren't staying there, ruins in 60 room "inn" feeling. It's basically a super crowded public beach and it's a mad house. So be prepared to wait in lines to even get out to the beach, use beach chairs, etc.

Lindsey W.

Yelp
Avoid! Watercolor Beach Club- we have always had amazing service in the past- avoid the beach club for food orders- we waited over an hour and a half for lunch after being told twice or order was being prepared as we speak. Our order cindided of 2 sandwiches and a kids cheeseburger. Zero customer service, zero communication from beach club staff. very dissapointed, sadly will not order from them again.

Yelp
What a great peaceful and relaxing spot. Came for a girls' weekend over Veterans Day weekend. Right on the beach. Great pool spots at the hotel or beach club. It was a bit chilly than we expected 60 degrees but we enjoyed the nearby shipping and restaurants. The service and people who worked there were awesome and attentive. They made the whole trip. We enjoyed the daily happy hour and complimentary drink. And the daily baked goods! The balcony view from our room was perfect. Can't wait yo come back during warmer weather

Yelp
Watercolor Inn was fabulous and we enjoyed all the amenities! We splurged for the 2 bedroom suite by the pool and probably wouldn't do that again - the noise was more than I anticipated - there must be something above those rooms because that was loud as well. The room itself was very spacious and clean and the housekeeping staff was one of the best we've experienced! The kids enjoyed the pool, the camp watercolor area and the proximity to the beach!

Yelp
If you saw my Instagram story you would think I was extremely in love with this place and I am, but not the inn. When we got here there was insane construction. We had to move our rooms after arguing with the staff about how it was NOT OK that they booked us there after literally a 12 hour straight drive and I actually cried. We were told construction would be done by beginning April and it was the end. Another family was told May. The front desk said July. You can't make this stuff up lol. Then, WEIRD problem but I have very sensitive skin. The water pressure is so low and the water is so hard you can not get the sunscreen off. I have rashes on my arms and my skin is super discolored. I have never seen this happen. I went and got a water test it's literally beyond healthy hard. On top of that there's keeping up with the Jones around here. People from the houses treat you less than if they find out you're at the inn at the pool. Snobby af. It's the view and complex. The sick amazing beautiful complex THAT is what you are paying for. Multiple pools and it's literally a dreamland for a bike ride. You are also possibly paying for a dermatologist when you get home. Pro tip stay at the houses which means less money. Yes the whole private homes to rent are CHEAPER than the inn.

Ashley J.

Yelp
I am giving this place one star because I want everyone to know there is a major renovation going on and the reservation agent did not adequately communicate what is going on.. or we would have stayed elsewhere.. lots of demolition that is loud even if your room is on the other side of the building. They offered to refund our money and we could go somewhere else, but after all the plane tickets etc were bought, there was no option once there. It was fall break and everything booked up. Management should have handled this better for sure. Not even a complementary meal for the issues. Also there is Wi-Fi but it doesn't work in the building .

Yelp
Great experience!! Room was spacious and customer service was wonderful. Enjoyed the treats that were delivered during turndown service. Perfect location-easy walking distance to Seaside. The inn is situated on the beach to where you can hear the waves and sit out your personal balcony to admire God's handiwork! Would recommend this inn to anyone visiting the 30A area.

Yelp
After a less than decent experience at The Pearl, we luckily stumbled upon Watercolor Inn to celebrate our anniversary. We received top notch service and feel so grateful they were able to accommodate us last minute. Everyone was so kind! Randy at the front desk and Tim in reservations were angels!! Promote them!!! I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back. Thank you! Love, Anna & Brandon from Texas

Yelp
Never thought I'd find myself this far south but here I am in good 'ole Flo Rida!! Lemme tell ya, its a nice surprise to be met with an infinity pool instead of GATORS HA!! The sunset was barely on the horizon as I dipped my toes into the captivating, crystalline waters... so of course as I sat down the POOL CLOSED sign went into immediate effect (is it me?). COWABUMMER! They were going to have to drag me out if it weren't for the enticing mushroom pizza and Mai Tais! SO YUM! You try sipping a Mai Tai on the beach and tell me YOU are gonna wear a mask?! DIDN'T think so! Any who, I digress, the next day was filled with BLOODY MARYS, SUNSHINE, AND RANDO KIDS SHOWING ME JELLYFISH THEY CAUGHT!! They were dead by the end of the day (The jellyfish i mean HA). I enjoyed a sandwich on Watercolor's warm beaches (I guess I know why they call it a SANDwich haha). All in all, the no masks were a plus and I CAN'T WAIT to come back and meet some more beaches by the beach ;) Richie, OUT!

Yelp
Their SPA is amazing! Cute boutique hotel with a wonderful SPA located just off the lobby. Massages & facials!! Just had a Jade Ritual massage- hot stones too! The staff is top notch! Professional staff & super CLEAN! Best Spa on 30A!

Yelp
Overall a great place for a vacation. It's definitely kid friendly so be prepared for many kids to be everywhere. Rooms were nice, not over the top. We liked the extra hooks that's a great touch. Kid pools were nice. The lack of towel service due to covid seems cheap and like a cop out. Housekeeping was good, some better than others. They give out a lot of cookies. We couldn't possibly eat them all. They are adding on suites which are needed. I would like to have a coffee place that's open early. The restaurant at across that they tout as their breakfast site only serves basic black coffee. Their restaurant in house doesn't open til 9 for breakfast. You need a coffee bar that has some kid friendly food available earlier. FOOW (fish out of water restaurant) was good but not great. Menu could use expansion and updating.

Heather M.

Yelp
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Friendly staff. Easy beach and pool access. A treat room open 24 hours with coffee, tea, ice cream treats, popcorn, oranges, soda.... Turn down service each night with fresh cookies. Scones, biscotti, and jam created us in the room at checkin. I think all rooms face the gulf. There is a hotel guest only pool so it was never that crowded over spring break, always had a chair or couch. They did not have enough beach towels. I did not love FOOW restaurant because they service there was very slow, very slow, the food tasted good once we got it and the staff there was nice. The gather bar was great. My car in valet was always brought to me very quickly. There is an 8pm curfew in watercolor for under 18 years old unless accompanied by an adult if that matters to you. The WiFi needs to be better, to slow to download a movie and kept disconnecting. That being said we did not pay for the wifi. Loved loved our stay and would totally come back!

Yelp
The town of Seaside could be no more perfect, it was designed that way. And the WaterColor Inn fits PERFECTLY in this perfect place. The Service is exceptional (Ritz-Carlton level) and the atmosphere is perfect Florida beachy. My wife and I like to vacation in comfort and style, and this place fits the bill. There is beach access to powder sands as well as two pools that are great (one adult and one kids). The drinks are good and the views are perfect.

Yelp
This was a nice hotel and the staff was very helpful and kind. The food was great, the bar at the steps to the beach was convenient and fun! We loved the adult pool and the fire pits at night. Riding bikes on the path and into town was fun. If you're looking to have beach chairs then you must reserve them before your stay. It gets really busy on the beach and the chairs fill up fast. We were lucky to be handed a few chairs as another couple were leaving and then we handed those off a few days later when we left. Dinner reservations are a good idea as well. We had the fresh fish and it was great! The water was warm and not very many waves, the fly overs by The Blue Angels were our favorite to see everyday. The front desk has complementary popsicles, soda and water which is so nice after a day out walking or riding. The club house has paddle boards and canoes to rent. We did the paddle boarding and the water was calm and enjoyable. It's a beautiful paddle and definitely have sunscreen on as it takes a few hours to see the sights. This hotel has convenient parking and a great wine bar/ restaurant across the way. They have cheese boards, endless bottles of wine, pizza, you name it! Outside dining tables as well as inside. This was a great place to stay. We will definitely visit again one day on our travels through the south.

Yelp
Cold and blustery wintery day in WaterColor .. but you know what makes up for it? Great hotel service, a beautiful ocean view, and my favorite part .. warm cookies delivered to the room. Thank you to the pastry team for this special touch. Some of the best cookies I've eaten! And then I noticed the recipe on the back! Genius recipe! Thank you!

Yelp
Watercolor is beautiful. Can't beat the golf-view suites on the 4th floor. We came back after six years since the last trip and it was just okay. Not great. The building is starting to look its age, including some stains on the ceiling and general disrepair. The landscaping looked neglected for a year or more. Staffing seemed sparse. No attendant at the adult pool. The umbrellas were down and when I tried to put one up, the metal stand snapped from rust and spewed black rust-water all over the ground. I reported to the front desk and they seemed indifferent. Generally, the staff all wore masks, which was good. But the front desk seemed generally unhelpful and generally. as mentioned above, indifferent. For a $250 a night room, I would give 5-stars. But this was a $500 per night stay and when you command that price, the service must be impeccable. UPDATE: I spoke with the property manager and she was very receptive to input. I look forward to another visit.

Yelp
Construction alert! Worst case scenario. If you can cancel, do it. Started at 8 AM and it's still going. Balconies are unusable. Adult pool is also useless. Could this have been done in the off season instead of a holiday week? It's all happing about 20 feet from our balcony. Day Two. Hammer time!! Construction started this morning at 7:45 AM. We just got up and took in the face. No calls to apologize. I almost admire their guts. I'm waiting for them to ask us to help finish the new porch. I paid over $2000 for this. Day 3. Our standard morning wake up occurred a few minutes later today, which we appreciated. A 9 AM construction party is almost reasonable. We are at the adult pool today enjoying the compressor which is powering the nail gun (which requires the workers to yell at each other to communicate). Our pool neighbors are trying to drown it all out with Lynyrd Skynyrd, which is almost working.

Yelp
if you are looking to get away from it all, experience something special on 30A this property is amazing. The rooms are fully appointed and offer great views of the surrounding areas- book a Gulf View if you can! The service is what makes this property really special- great F&B, personal touches and service . No buildings in the area are higher than 4 stories - it is a one of a kind destination. Fly into ECP and experience getting away from it all!
google avatar

Melissa T.

Yelp
As a local, this is where we come for a staycation. I. Love. It. Yes, it is expensive and starting to get a little dated but it is also so serene. Get a top floor room and enjoy the views, the location on the Gulf couldn't be any better. How much you enjoy your stay is dependent on what you choose to do. Take advantage of the bicycles and go for a ride around Seaside. Enjoy the pool or the beach. Eat the waffles with fresh blueberries in the restaurant near the lobby, they are phenomenal. Take in a sunset and a sunrise...If it's the weekend go to the farmers market. Rent a kayak and explore the nearby waterways. This place amazing, just enjoy the simple things. Like the turndown service that includes cookies, really good cookies.

Yelp
If you are looking for a beachfront property, this is your place! The rooms are beautiful and every single one has ocean views! The food is spectacular as well as their meeting space if you are looking for a venue for a wedding or corporate retreat! The staff are very welcoming and I love how quaint the area is, you won't want to leave. You must stay here!!

Yelp
Initially we were so excited for this vacation at the Watercolor Inn to celebrate our upcoming birth of our baby. Surprisingly this is the loudest resort I have ever stayed in and as a pregnant person I will say it was not a good option. The walls are paper thin and we could hear every word from our neighbors who partied hard. Also, our 3rd floor ocean view balcony was next to their restaurant (fish out of water) and although the restaurant closed at 10pm the staff played music very loud until at least 11:30pm during their clean up. I had to call down to the front desk nightly to ask it to be turned off. Randy at the front desk tried to help as much as he could but despite his efforts they continued to play the music late consistently. Service at fish out of water was incredibly slow for dinner and the food was sub par. We waited over an hour for our food. Getting a chair at the pool "beach club" was nearly impossible unless you got there really early. People put their towels down in chairs and head out to the beach and there is no enforcement of the rules. Also, the tables at the pool were dirty. The poolside food/drink service was good however if you can get a chair. This did not feel like a luxury hotel that cost us $3100 for a 4 nights stay.

Yelp
We LOVED our time at this hotel. Very kid friendly. Beautiful rooms, pool and lobby. The only frustration is that our checkin took too long. We were very tired when we checked in. Also, they charged for morning coffee in the lobby. That should have been complimentary. Otherwise an awesome experience!

Yelp
I struggle whether to give bad reviews or to just not post. But as South Park states, it is my duty to yelp. You can judge for yourself. We stayed in a condo across the street from the inn. It was directly on 30a which was loud, especially at night with teenagers. One night was a scene from cops. Interesting since you are in watercolor. The unit itself was beautiful and that is a separate review. You do get to use the amenities. As another yelper commented, the chair situation is very annoying. It seems as if they have chairs for miles in two or three rows. I believe it is a fifty dollar a day rental fee for a set. We thought that was steep and bought our own since our unit did not supply them (of course not since they want you to spend 50 bucks a day). We set up right next to watercolor which was technically grayton beach. My husband went early each day to set up chairs. One day we got there at ten and our chairs were gone, along with several other people's on the beach. It turns out that someone from the grayton beach staff was so pissed off at all the trash left after the fireworks, that he decided to take anything that was on the beach, at nine am in the morning. Yup. You can imagine how many pissed off people there were. Considering how much you pay to stay in this area, this was a major fail and ruined many people's mornings. Many people said they would never return to this spot again. Speaking of garbage on the beach, the garbages are only found in one spot, so people just leave their trash on the beach. The portion that is manned by the watercolor Inn was very dirty and the guys picking up chairs didn't bother to pick up trash. It just seemed so cluttered every day. As far as the employees of the inn, some were hit and miss. It seemed as if there were a few hard workers. Some were nice, some were not. There were alot of millennials at the helm. I don't know but it seems as if they just get very annoyed when you ask questions. They take for granted that we don't know the area. At check - in, the girl went through everything so fast that I left with a million questions. I went into the main lobby to ask a few questions and it was a struggle to talk to some of the kiddos up there. I walked out of there just beaten down. The homes in watercolor are beautiful and there are many pools to choose from. It's fun to bike around. If I were to go back, I would rent from someone other than the resort. But likely I will go down the street to a quieter area.

Yelp
We are visiting on a trip and could not be more impressed with the MOST PRECIOUS STAFF EVER!! Demetrius ( at the front desk) was the most joyful, warm and welcoming person EVER!! We felt like he was an old sweet friend by the time we were leaving! He was most helpful and the absolutely sweetest welcome each and every time we walks in the front doors!! William was the kindest, most helpful and kindest smile greeting us at the concierge desk (and super helpful bike rental and bike seat-lowerer ever)! To say we are pleased is an under-estimate! Last, by not least, the most precious humans in the world are the sweetest, smiling housekeeping staff working at Watercolor Inn!! We enjoyed visiting with them as much as we loved the FABULOUS JOB they did making our room nice and clean as well as warm and welcoming!! Each evening we returned to the YUMMIEST COOKIES were placed thoughtfully on our beds - the perfect midnight snack when we climb into incredibly comfortable, HEAVENLY BEDS!! We could not recommend this beautiful place more!! Room 311 (Marathon bikers )

Yelp
Absolutely love this place!!! The rooms are beautiful and spotless. I really enjoyed the food at fish out of water, all the amenities of this place, and of course their spa. Ah-mazing! The whole town feels really nice, you can get around with bikes, enjoy some good music and food trucks, along with high end dining. The property is beach front so you can literally wake up and step on the beach. I'd recommend it to everyone!

Yelp
Simply stunning slice of heaven ... oceanfront rooms are spacious & lovely. Bikes come with your room, so take yourself on a gentle ride to Seaside to get breakfast & fresh juice at Raw & Juicy. Derek Music took great care to get all set with just the seat height & a basket for our Saturday Farmer's Market delights. Stroll to dinner ... walk on the beach. Indulgent huge dual use shower with natural light windows. Balconies with elevated chairs for unobstructed beautiful views. Ocean lullabies from the waves ... stay as long as you can ...

Yelp
What an incredible place! Unfortunately every single day we have been here, five days, one family is allowed their toddler to defecate in the pool. That has cause the pool to be closed every day we've been here. I feel very sorry for the folks who work here and earn their living here, and one family has ruined vacations for hundreds of people.
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
I did not stay at the Inn however my family and I rented a house in the Watercolor community. We were given access to all areas the Inn provides (pool, beach, gym, etc). Upon going to the beach, if you do not pay to use chair service (we have done so in the past however, were provided chairs with the house so we did not this time) they expect you to sit behind their 3 rows of chairs or in the wet sand. That was no problem with us- we decided to sit our 3 chairs and 2 bags in the wet sand! However, they do not tell the people who pay money for the front row of chairs that this is allowed. One family covered all our shoes and bags with sand. The supervisor on duty that day was neutral and tried to please everyone. Needless to say, we voluntarily moved, we were exposed to their profanity and it ruined the beginning of our stay.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
I recently had a massage at the WaterColor Inn and Spa. I would give their facility 1 star. There isn't a spa environment outside of the treatment room. There isn't a location to change into a robe/slippers and unwind before or after treatment. Unfortunately I would not recommend this location for a spa day.

Yelp
Watercolor Inn is a very nice place if your there for the view and enjoying nearby seaside. $300-$400 a night nice during the off season? Depends on what your into I guess. My experience was just ok. The front desk staff was extremely aloof my entire stay. Every time I came downstairs they would pick up the phone and act very busy even though the resort was pretty slow. When I did finally get their attention I always felt a tinge of annoyance. Im just going to chalk this one up to the clerks being 20 somethings who wanted to be somewhere else. The lobby bar is about a decade out of date in decor and drink selection. What decent bar in America does not carry at least one IPA or craft beer?

Yelp
We have come here almost annually since 2008. Since the recession, they have been raising prices consistently. However, in an apparent attempt to increase profits, they've cut back on both the services and the amenities that they provide guests. So a downgrade is in order.

Yelp
My wife and I attended my business conference here. It was an amazing resort. The amenities are top notch and the service was superb. I would highly recommend this resort.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I spent four days at the WaterColor Inn back in early February 2012. We were impressed with every aspect of our stay. Allison Emerson, who books the guests, was very accommodating to our preferences--we wanted a quiet time there and she booked us in the off-season, which was perfect. From the moment of our arrival, we felt completely relaxed and comfortable, even after a ten hour drive from Miami. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff and we were very happy with the level of service throughout our stay. You can tell they are well trained on how make you feel like a VIP. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful ocean view. Beds were large and the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. From the balcony, you could look out to water and see dolphin fins poking out of the waves every few minutes. The hotel's library had a wide selection of books and DVDs, old and new. Premiumly-priced drinks and sushi were had at the in-house restaurant, The Gathering Spot. Great service and quality. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat at the Fish Out of Water Restaurant due to a recent fire. There were definitely plenty of other options throughout the picturesque town of Seaside that were adequately quaint. Our favorite spot quickly became the Great Southern Cafe - the Bloody Mary's and raw oysters were better than anywhere we had before. The town of Seaside, which is the idyllic backdrop for the film The Truman Show, was uniquely planned and developed with a consistent architectural style. Bicycles were complimentary at the Watercolor Inn and helped us navigate this amazing beach community. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day in the future.

Yelp
We stayed here as part of my first trip to Florida. The resort itself is huge. It's more like a college campus. The service was top notch, the location can't be beat and the food is pretty good. I gave Watercolor 5 stars but there is one thing that left me wondering...a beach umbrella and 2 chairs can be rented for $25 (front row) or $20 (back row). People that pay $20, just pick up ther chairs and move to the front. On the plus side, the lounge has a large collection of books that have been left by visitors. Feel free to take one or leave one. If you do stay here, take a bike ride to the neighborhood easy of the Watercolor.

Yelp
We came to Watercolor Inn for our Honeymoon and had a great time; just relaxing and enjoying the amenities. Randy up front was great! Super friendly and helpful. Our man Nick running the car around for us and offering up all the local dining spots was awesome. We went to all the places that the Watercolor crew suggested and every spot was spot on!! Fish Out Of Water right upstairs, made it real convenient to enjoy some great food and drinks! The Something To Good specialty drink was great. We will be back for sure!!

Yelp
I had an issue with the roaches in the room. Paid 700 a night did not expect to see roaches. I called the first time and was told because it was hot outside , well yah no kidding it's Florida it's hot. I was told they would tell the manger , no calls. The second night of roaches crawling around I called again and I am waiting for a call. Just really gross, takes away from any positive reviews .

Yelp
Fabulous eclectic, creative accommodations with a rare view of the beach on 30A. The spa, though small, had fabulous services and the experience on the porch overlooking the pool and beach were relaxing and fun. Fish out of Water next door wow!!!! The beach access was cumbersome - however, everything else worth the experience and the price.

Yelp
This was a very cosy, quaint resort, and we loved the amenities. It was a great idea on their part to have a separate pool for the families, that way your children don't have to swim with the drunk middle aged folks. They also have a very nice portion of the beach, and their lobby Coffee is even worth drinking.

Yelp
We found this place via Google search and decided to try it. It is AMAZING! The whole property is beautiful. It is decorated so beachy and cute with all of the blues. We ate at the lobby casual restaurant last night when we arrived and the sushi was fantastic. They had a lot of other selection besides sushi. The rooms are so pretty and clean and seem new or newly decorated. It's definitely as nice as any of the Ritz Carlton's we've stayed at on our trip! We will return for sure!

Yelp
We arrive here for a week stay with the family. The resort looks great for a AAA Four Diamond rated resort. When we booked the room, reservation said it came with two beach chairs everyday at the beach for free. We found out, the free chairs are in water sound beach, 6 miles away! Really?!! The room we stayed in is $600+ a night and no microwave. That's not standard? Everything else is perfect, you can bike to everywhere. You can eat in the resort or go out. So many choices here. The beach is great. Clear water and white sand. If you want quiet and secluded though, this is not the place. It is very crowded at this time of the year, ( July ). The staff are friendly but gets overwhelmed with so many people needing service.

Yelp
My family and I stayed here last week and we loved it. The customer service was great though out the entire resort. My children rode bikes all over the little city, used the paddleboards and kayaks. We rode bikes to dinner in Seaside and just had a great time being active in such beautiful surroundings. The beaches are so clean and the water just the perfect temp. My children have been talking about how much fun they had. I believe it is because the place was set up and safe enough for them to have some freedom running around on their own. We will be back.

Yelp
Mind-blowing. Well-appointed rooms with balconies overlooking the breaking surf. Service so attentive, even obsequious. Restaurants with wide selections, prepared as well as anything I've experienced. Seafood seared to perfection and artfully presented. Pricey, but good value.

Yelp
My girl friend and I were having a girls weekend in Sea Grove recently and booked the hot stone massage at the Watercolor Spa. Best decision ever! It was fabulous and even though we had different technicians our massages were both excellent! Very friendly staff at the spa and a delicious watermelon salad afterwards at the restaurant at the Inn! We will definitely be back next year during our getaway weekend!

Yelp
Decent massage at the spa. You'd think there were more amenities than just a bottle of water--for the price!

Yelp
How to begin on this review. Well, from the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, This place makes you feel like you never want to go back home. The condo was attractive, comfortable and clean. The free bicycles were a plus, the amenities were ample. The breakfast at Fish out of Water, was tasty, but the service was once again, impeccable. Dinner, at Fish Out Of Water, was ASWESOME! I had the Pate, which was smooth, creamy, while still light and fluffy. My wife had the Calamari, which also was light, crunchy, and very fresh tasting. I will go into the dining experience in another review, but suffice to say here, it Is worth it. Babysitter services are available, you make the calls, but they are attentive, and affordable. I would encourage the Condo as this was my experience, Down the road, is a Publix Supermarket, with great deals, and great food. If you are looking for a Florida vacation, and want to try something other than Destin, give Watercolor Resorts a try..

Yelp
Luved it. We spent our honeymoon here and were blown away. Like the fact that it's kind of exclusive, but in close proximity to Deston and Panama City. The sheer beauty of the gulf, sugar-sand beaches and resort deco was dazzling. Staff was incomparably courteous and helpful. Breakfast was comp. and very satisfying. We stayed an extra day because it seemed like a dream we didn't want to wake up from...this may have been the best overall resort I've been to. Four Diamond-rated by AAA and deservedly so.
