Waterdog is a hidden gem! We ate there for the first time and were blown away! The food was excellent and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is fun and funky. We had a party of six and had our own room to celebrate a birthday-very private and fun. The wait staff was very accommodating and helpful. I can’t say enough great things about this place. You simply must experience it for yourself!

A giant house converted into a restaurant, with rooms to eat in. It’s a very different experience from anything I have seen but it was a great experience nonetheless. The drinks were really really good, I had the Mozambique Mac ‘N Cheese. It was great. Staff were friendly too. The Shrimp Mozambique Rangoons were the best thing I tasted. Only thing I would say is that I believe with the Hummus it may have been better with a bread rather than a cracker. I understand the vegetables in terms of carrots et cetera and those are fine but the cracker felt a bit out of place.

This was my first time here and definitely not my last. We had 730pm dinner reservations and arrived early so we had drinks in the lounge upstairs. Such a cozy area. For my meal, I had the Gnocchi and it was so flavorful. The staff were all very friendly. The only downside was the parking lot was small and had no lights.

Stopped by a couple times in May, once for brunch on a Sunday and once for dinner on a Saturday. My brunch experience was great. The place wasn’t too busy, menu and cocktails were outstanding. The decor and music in this restaurant are great. Love a little sunshine reggae. Special shoutout to the wait staff who have to run meals up several flights of stairs. When coming for dinner on the weekend, it was quite a bit crazier. Made reservations and was seated promptly—however it was a small table right at the top of the stairs of the kitchen. The main walkway between the bar in the entrance and the rest of the restaurant. They shouldn’t have tables in this spot. People bump into you while you’re seated and it’s a very dark room at night. If you have any visual impairments, you’ll need a flashlight to walk and read the menu. Dinner: The appetizers tend to be more flavorful than the entrees. Shrimp Rangoons, corn dip, Piri Piri wings. All awesome. Dirty fish and chips was a little soggy. Bom dia burger was good, but a tad dry. Brunch: Poutine and chicken and waffles are both really good! The bartenders here are outstanding and the cocktails are very creative. However, they overload them with ice, which drowns out the flavor of the carefully crafted ingredients.

Google
Amazing food and cute atmosphere! Food is unique and everything I’ve tried was soooo good!! Try the Shrimp Mozambique Rangoons and/or the Tostada for an appetizer. Dirty Fish and Chips are amazing - expect to have plenty of left over. Octopus Risotto was delicious. Brunch is great too! There is also a bar that opens on some evenings - looks cute.

This place is really good!! Funky but cozy vibe inside this colonial New England House turned restaurant. Drinks are creative and delicious. Food is bomb. Tons of different flavors with near perfect execution. Only complaints were slower( but friendly) service at 830 on a Saturday. Food took quite a while. Also, the burger had too much char on it. It was a smidge over medium, but nearly fully burned on the outside. The saving grace was the Roquefort cheese that went well with the charred flavor.

Great food and great service. We had a family brunch in one of the dining rooms. It was private and adorable.

Yelp
Waterdog is a quaint lil' eatery located in a restored 18th century house. It feels like you're eating in someone's very cozy, very large, very New England home. Each room is different (different furniture, different wallpaper, different decorations, different vibe, etc.) & there's a lot to look at. The menu is very imaginative, with lots of variety, which makes it sting even stronger that there are so few gluten-free options. They're known for their hot dogs & lobster roll, & neither of which have a gluten-free bun option. Their brunch dishes are all very carb/gluten heavy as well. No options for substitutions. Not having gluten-free buns in 2025 is basically criminal. The service is always really friendly & helpful. One time, our server told us that they were totally in the weeds & that service might be slow, but we barely noticed. They handled the weeds like a total professional. Waterdog is a great spot - cozy & eclectic with delicious food to match. I just wish they would offer some gluten-free alternatives on their menu.

Yelp
Had not tried their weekday 1/2 price appetizers (3-5 PM)... Friend suggested meeting and have drinks and split some appetizers. A winner - about 10 appetizers available and a huge cocktail menu. Three of us split 4 appetizers and that was a bit too much. EXCELLENT service.

Sarah F.

Yelp
Super warm and cozy vibe! The building must be a historic home or something because the architecture is super unique. The food was delicious and came out quickly- we both got the burger and fries. My rating is more like a 4.5 with the deduction being that no one came back to check on us or refill water until we asked someone passing by. The people were all nice, but it took a while to get our check back and our waters refilled etc. Cool (and warm) place to grab a good bite.

Yelp
What an absolute bummer. We went to Waterdog for the first time on a beautiful fall day when their outdoor seating area was open. We weren't in a hurry and were excited to try this lovely restaurant in Warren. Their menu looks great but the service was so beyond terrible I can't even make an excuse for it. Here's the thing. Kitchen's get backed up, life happens and sometimes food just doesn't come out in a timely manner. But it's all in the way you handle it. You don't leave people sitting in the hot sun with nothing to drink for an hour, with a server who is curt. You send a manager out to multiple tables to say hey, let's make sure you have something to drink, here's an update, we care about your experience. Over an hour and we never ate and ultimately had to leave, which is the first time in my life that's ever happened. Overall it was handled quite poorly and it's not a place I would go back to, I'm sorry to say.

Yelp
Fish and chips: the fish and chips dish was really tasty! I love how they let you choose between baked or fried fish. I opted for the baked fish which was flaky and tender. The chips were very good, although they would benefit from more crisp. The tartar sauce was a great classic addition. Wings: the garlic wings were very good, although the skin was a little tough. The flavor was there however! The bread was a great addition to soak up the sauce. Octopus appetizer: this is always a favorite when we come here. They do a fantastic job with this dish and is the 5/5 of the night. The ambiance of waterdog is always a highlight! The darkness paired with the lights of candles and warmth of the home-feel is very unique to this restaurant.

Yelp
I have now been to Waterdog on two different occasions and both have been enjoyable. I definitely recommend having reservations, especially in summer. Very easy to order food with a group and share. The location is lovely, very close to the water. The restaurant itself seems like it was an old house that was converted, giving a charming New England feel. Definitely a stop to try when in Warren!

Jeannie R.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Great ambience. Great cocktails. Sarah was my server. She was so nice.

Tony W.

Yelp
Fantastic craft eatery with amazing menu. We had a seafood roll !! And a great chowder. Beer selection first rate, ambience cozy on a cold and rainy New England afternoon. I hope we can return some day. PS upstairs bar - wow what a great spot.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Food was incredible. Love the Portuguese theme of the food and menu. Plenty of things to choose from and all fairly priced. The house that was refurbished into this restaurant is adorable. Love the fireplace on the second floor - so cozy! And the original hardwood floors from this 1800 sea captain type house

Candice S.

Yelp
This is such a sweet spot! The ambiance is amazing. Nice and relaxing. A cute date spot for sure. Drinks are nice and food is creative. The only downfall is that service is beyond slow. We've been a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the calamari, burrata, Mac and cheese, scallop entre. The corn dip was good but has a Smokey flavor that mimics bacon so be ready. You definitely should go here.

Meg M.

Yelp
We love having brunch, shared plates or cocktails there. The staff is always wonderful, the food delicious and the drinks are always top notch. Def suggest this cute little spot!

Gabriela E.

Yelp
I've been here twice once for brunch on a weekend and once for lunch during the week . Food is 10/10 Tasty, flavorful, great portions also innovative and different . Ambiance is always nice and cozy vibes . Like a bed and breakfast. Drinks are strong and delicious and service has been wonderful both times . We shared a bunch of appetizers and were too full to think about entrees after but did have dessert. Also was very kid friendly - i always have anxiety about going out to eat with my toddlers but lots of kiddos dining with their parents put me at ease . This place doesn't miss . Will have to come back for dinner!

Kadie S.

Yelp
Emma, our waitress was great. Friendly, attentive, respectful and professional. The place itself is really cool, super dark, and a good date night spot. Pomegranate rosemary margarita was delicious. The general tso's cauliflower sauce was so good and the dirty fish and chips has one of the best fried fish batters in the area. We'll be back!

Hannah P.

Yelp
Food was PHENOMENAL! Drinks were delicious. Atmosphere is awesome. Two things thing making this 4 stars instead of 5 stars were the service and the price. FOOD For appetizers we had a general tso cauliflower and shrimp Mozambique Rangoon. Both apps were delicious and flavorful. For dinner we had the scallop BLT salad, the Waterdog (a hot dog), the burger, and the dirty fish and chips. Again, everything was delicious and flavorful. The seafood tasted really fresh, and the hot dog was super unique with pulled pork and salsa on top. For drinks we tried the strawberry wine, pomegranate margarita, and the sunshine margarita. The strawberry wine was by far the most popular at our table. We would order any of the above items again! ATMOSPHERE We sat outside at the patio furniture. The outdoor seating area of the restaurant is sandwiched between a parking lot and a main road. There are a few picnic tables and a few sets of patio furniture. The ground is crushed seashell and there is some fencing to block the house next door. I would liken it to casual beachside dining without the ocean view. There was some old food on the ground from prior patrons. SERVICE Our main issue with the restaurant was the timeliness of the service - or lack thereof. It took about 15 minutes to get drinks once we were seated. Later, when we ordered a second round, it took another 15 minutes. Our waters were also not refilled during the night despite being empty. The food was served in a reasonable timeframe - and it was hot, right out of the kitchen! PRICE For 8 drinks, 4 entrees, and 2 apps, the tab was about $230 before tip. While the food itself was absolutely amazing, it was pricier for the restaurants's casual and beachy nature.

Haley P.

Yelp
Great food, cute building, fast service and near the water (although you don't have a water view). I really enjoyed trying this restaurant during my visit. My only complaint is although there are seafood/shellfish options on the menu, I wish there were more. But that's just personal preference.

Matt L.

Yelp
Great place for a weekend brunch. Plenty of tables available and a really spacious spot with lit candles everywhere you turn and gorgeous wooden interiors. The food itself was a 4 out of 5. The French toast was pretty small for its price and not very flavorful. The poutine fries were certainly packed with flavor but it's definitely made to be shared. I could not down an entire cast iron worth of fries, even though I had a huge appetite and I could EAT. At some point, I got really tired of eating a really heavy thing like poutine. They don't make great leftovers either, so split it between 2-3 people.

Rosanell J.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. This was my second time. This is the first time I made it for lunch. The waitress and host were very attentive and helpful in organizing a surprise dessert for my best friend. My favorite part of this restaurant is the homey, cozy feel. There are fire places making it very toasty in the winter months, they have a great fire place.

Michelle S.

Yelp
We had never been to Waterdog for brunch before, but we decided to give it a try today. We were a little disappointed to see that they had a limited menu, but they made up for it with their extensive drink selection. We started with a strawberry bellini and then ordered a breakfast taco, steak and egg, and poutine. While the menu items may have seemed repetitive, the taste was pretty good, except for the steak and egg. For $29, the steak was a small piece and it was marinated in a way that made it taste old and chewy. The risotto that came under the steak was also too salty, so we barely touched it. Despite this, we would still come back to Waterdog because of their cute outdoor seating, but we wouldn't recommend the steak and egg. Our server was very nice and friendly!

N T.

Yelp
We've been dying to try this restaurant for quite some time, so glad we finally did. The restaurant has such a cool swanky vibe from how the rooms are decorated differently to the mood lighting. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. We had the Mozambique Rangoons and the Street corn Dip. For our meals my husband had the Salmon with Risotto and I had the Shrimp Mozambique Mac n Cheese, everything was delicious with just the right amount of spicy! We topped the night off with the kitchen sink dessert and the flourless chocolate torte. We really enjoyed our meal and will not be waiting so long to return!!

Ramsey J.

Yelp
Birthday dinner. The mains took 2-1/2 hours to be served. This would have been ok if it matched our pace, but we were often sitting with empty drinks and appetizer plates and no server to be found. The food was tasty but served room temperature, not hot. Two folks ordered the octopus risotto and felt it was way too spicy (risotto) with no warning. The birthday girl liked the vibe of the place. But the experience fell short. TBD if we will try again.

Gina M.

Yelp
This was my 3rd time here and it was just as delicious as the other times - consistency is key! We went for brunch and I had the Morning Tacos with a side of Chorizo Hash. Both were excellent! I had big dreams of taking the hash home but honestly, it was too good and I couldn't stop eating them. My husband got the lobster benny (no pic) and said it was the best lobster benny he's ever had. All of it was amazing but what I'm still dreaming about was the Passion Fruit jalapeño margarita. The passion fruit purée was absolutely magical with the perfect hint of heat from the jalapeño. *chefs kiss*

Jeanne H.

Yelp
Great place for friends, family or even a date night. There's a decent kids menu and they are kid friendly. We dined inside on a chilly Friday evening but I'd love to come back and dine outdoors on a nicer day. Our service was fantastic and the foot was delicious. Good portions and we even had leftovers. I would recommend this place for smaller groups of friends and families, but larger groups may find a hard time being seated together or may have to wait. This place is very popular with the locals so be prepared for a wait during their busy times. PS it's worth the wait

Dennise K.

Yelp
A sweet little place in Warren. Quirky little rooms with great atmosphere. The food is delicious and their cocktail selections are fantastic. Service was spot on! Word has it, they just opened another bar upstairs that is open on the weekends. I recommend you check out the place especially during the summer months as they do have a really fun patio.

Tina M.

Yelp
The menu has huevos Rancheros on the menu for $23 which is described as Braised beef and pulled Pork, no mention of Chorizo. Most of our party ordered it and when it came out we were surprised to see chorizo because 1 of us dislikes it and does not eat it. we asked our server about and she said "i was the first to point that out on the menu and would talk to the cook and owner" She never came back to explain.. When asked again she said it's not the chefs issue it's the owners issue and that the menu need to be updated. asked to speak with the manager and she replied she was the manager. The amount of chorizo in this dish is like a link of chorizo and was more than 1/2 the dish. It was visually apparent in the plate. She did not ask if we wanted anything else or if there was anything else she could offer. The bill did not reflect a discount due the dish not being what was described on the menu and it not being eaten. She was less than helpful and we all will never go back because of this experience.

Paul M.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent Went for brunch, drinks and food was excellent, Had the dirty poutine for brunch.

Shelly S.

Yelp
Terrible customer service, false advertisement of the menu. entree ingredients were not reflected accurately on the menu's description. We will never go back..The server was unpleasant and unresponsive to our complaint or concerns.

L A.

Yelp
First time having brunch here on a Sunday. I love being able to make a reservation, we were sat immediately upon arrival at the table we special requested. The food options were excellent as both menus were in effect. We had some appetizers and then went to meals. The special salmon over risotto was amazing, I wish it was a regular menu item!

Jean F.

Yelp
STAY AWAY! I went with two friends the end of February and the next day we all started to become very sick for over a week. We called the restaurant to see if they were aware of anyone else getting sick and they said no, only to find out two days later from the General Manager that they have had numerous patrons getting sick over the past week and a half. Besides getting very sick, the restaurant is not handling the situation appropriately.

Beth W.

Yelp
Came in with a party of 8. Great food. Service was a little off! I will be returning!

Kimberley L.

Yelp
Parking lot in rear small. Reservation suggested Millennial staff. Spacious. Two bars, fireplaces, cozy Intimate seating available. Un sex clean bathrooms. Food is unique and made to perfection. $$$

Haley E.

Yelp
I can't even begin to describe how amazing this place is. The menu is extremely unique and funky - the aesthetic of the restaurant definitely matches that. I went for brunch after being waitlisted for over an hour at a different restaurant in the area and I am SO PUMPED we went here instead. Everyone was extremely friendly, the service was quick and relaxed, the food - unreal. I will definitely be back for cocktails and dinner.

K L.

Yelp
This old house turned into a restaurant is very unique. Each room has a different decor. The food and service was good.

Jackie O.

Yelp
DO NOT EAT HERE. Please, for your own safety!! I came here with 2 friends on February 29th and we shared 3 dishes. The next day, we all become extremely sick with severe stomach symptoms that lasted well over a week. After contacting the RI department of health, we learned that they already had an open investigation going for this establishment because others had reported getting sick this same week. To make matters worse, the manager handled the situation horribly, refusing to take any responsibility and completely down playing the situation.

Andrea P.

Yelp
Not sure where the negative reviews came from cause we loved it here. Inside was adorable but we sat outdoors. Quaint little patio, shells on ground gives a beach vibe. Super dog friendly which is a huge plus for me. The food was solid, good flavor and nice presentation. Shrimp Mozambique mac n cheese was creamy and had a perfect spice. Husbands chicken sandwich was awesome and he loved the fries. We will be back.

Robert H.

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner at Waterdog on their outdoor patio. We've been meaning to try Waterdog for a while and were impressed. I tried one of their cocktails to start, an illegal s'mores, which was pretty original, and not too sweet which it easily could have been. They had great beer on tap including one of my favorites, Maine Lunch. My dirty fish and chips had superb fish and was a medley of flavors that kept my taste buds on their toes. I loved it but I would say be ready for a busy dish. My party loved their Waterdogs. The outdoor fire pits reminded me of House of Dragon with their magnificence. Overall we would certainly return.

John W.

Yelp
Recommended by a friend, we found this gem for post-graduation brunch on a Saturday morning. The positive hype did t do what we experienced justice- the BEST breakfast/brunch we've ever had! The poutine w chorizo was served in pan and was perfectly-seasoned and could've served two. The fried chicken was coated with a delicious and crunchy batter and the French Toast is bound to draw oohs and ahhs before and after you eat it. Staff was cheerful and attentive and the tequila lemonade was perfect. Warm, marine-themed decor reminds of the town's colonial seaside roots. We'll be back as soon as we can! Run, don't walk to brunch here:).

Susan H.

Yelp
Went for brunch recently. What a great experience! The fireplace was on which made it very cozy on a chilly Sunday. The menu was extensive as both breakfast and lunch were offered. My husband had the decadent french toast that he devoured. I had the best burger ever and I rarely eat hamburgers. Service was cheery. All around a great brunch. 30 years ago my husband and I stayed here for an anniversary when it was the Nathaniel Porter Inn. Nice to see it reinvented and true to the quirkiness that is Warren

Vaite B.

Yelp
The food is delicious no matter the dish. Customer service is quite remarkable. Our hostess Hailey is a gem! She's polite, very attentive to details and to our needs every time! The ambiance both outside and inside is great. Love the aesthetic of the different rooms, eclectic yet stylish. Highly recommended!

Harold E.

Yelp
I saw a very positive TikTok about this place and decided to try it. The Good: eclectic interior inside an old home. The Bad: the drinks are completely average and the choices for mixed drinks stop at mid-shelf. The food, both appetizers and main dishes are entirely too greasy. The average: Service. We took note that our server and every other server never smiled. Our server wasn't rude...just average in every way. I wouldn't go back to Waterdog...there's just too many other nearby options.

Molli H.

Yelp
Delicious food in a quaint and funky environment! The beautiful architecture lends itself to the quirky menu full of flavor! Our server was friendly and attentive

Maggi N.

Yelp
I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now and I'm so happy I finally made it! We dined outside which was nice on a warm spring night. They also have fire pits which I really like too. We got the food below: Appetizers: Brava Sprouts- fried / pickled peppers / garlic aioli / sriracha aioli Piri Piri Wings - Portuguese allspice / hot sauce General Tso's Cauliflower - battered + fried / honey / garlic / sriracha / sesame aioli / scallions Entree: Steak + Lobster Roll - grilled 4oz filet / warmed butter lobster / lemon garlic aioli / fries / lobster butter. All of the appetizers are delicious My favorite was the cauliflower! I can't wait to go back and try more apps! The Steak and Lobster roll was exactly what I wanted. I loved the amount of lobster and steak you got. The roll was toasted with butter and had a nice crunch. The steak and lobster did not have any Mayo on it, just the aioli which I really enjoyed the flavor. The lobster meat was abundant and was very fresh. I liked how the butter came on the side, because then I could add as much or as little as I wanted. The steak was cooked medium well, the way I ordered it and it was cut up in the roll to make it easier to eat. I was craving a lobster roll and this roll did not disappoint I can't wait to go back to try more apps, cocktails and entrees by the fire pits

Rane R.

Yelp
Stopped here hoping to have the ceviche, but they changed the menu. Not all was lost though, hubby and I split this beautiful roll and an equally delicious Caesar salad (not pictured). Everything tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. The lobster wasn't rubbery and the steak (situated under the lobster) was done just right. Not that it matters to most, but the bun itself was very good. Although I didn't take a picture of the salad, it had fresh anchovy, a wonderful Panko crust instead of croutons, and a nicely seasoned dressing. I had forgotten to ask for them to go light on the dressing, so it was definitely indulgent, but not soupy. Also, not pictured is the well done MaiThai and the outdoor area with several fire pits. Definitely going back, hoping to try the ceviche in one of their next menus as well as the octopus.

Yelp
We went here for my dad's birthday and were blown away by the setting! So cool! The rooms are truly amazing. The food was excellent and the drinks were good. The service on the other hand was disappointing and down right rude. First off, kudos to our waitress who was clearly working very hard and was the only one who appeared to be doing so. We, at multiple points, were out of silverware and had plates cluttering the table. The food runners were dismissive and rude. The waitress, you could tell, was working overtime and the food runners (who were spending quite a bit of time on their phones) were no help. We waited 10-15 minutes for a spoon for an appetizer, and when we ordered dessert, the food runner brought them without forks. We kindly asked for forks, she essentially threw the dessert down and in a unkind tone said, "ill have your waitress get it"- our waitress who was running around doing everything. At the end of the birthday we asked for a picture, a few of the staff were on their phone and pretty much ignored or brushed us off. I guess they were too busy... Most of our party had worked in the food industry and very much understand how stressful it is. We are respectful of our wait staff always and believe in tipping generously. We were very patient with our waitress who was clearly overwhelmed, but we were very unimpressed by the young food runners. I would be embarrassed to have those kids as my staff. This was supposed to be a fun night for my dad, and unfortunately the food runners put a damper on it. Uncool, guys.

Alexandra E.

Yelp
Randomly found this place and was definitely not disappointed! The atmosphere is amazing, great music, and friendly staff. Fish tacos were incredible!

Marla S.

Yelp
Ambiance: they've basically taken a gorgeous old home and crapped all over it. Subway tiles in a historic kitchen (now dining room)? A deer head mounted on the wall-very appetizing. A swirly-sparkled hallway- nothing flows or makes sense. Food: overpriced, greasy, garlicky, served on black plates in a dim room so you can't even see what you're eating. Hipster-trying-too-hard fare. Service: bland, no smiles, not friendly. Amenities: no handicapped-accessible entrance or restroom...the only bathrooms are in the cellar. Down a flight of stairs, right next to the kitchen and their food-storage area! Yum.

Yelp
I'm leaving this review due to an inconvenience I experienced last night while trying to dine out. I called around the time they opened and made a dinner reservation for 2. For 7:30. When we arrived which was at 7:28pm we were told no reservation existed. We then asked if they had any extra tables. The 3 women hostess were not helpful they lacked sincerity. They told us another table would be available at 8:30. I wish they could have been more inviting to solve the problem. Perhaps offered us a seat a the bar while we wait etc. 8:30 came and went and still no confirmation text. For the next available table. Flash forward to Thursday morning I get a confirmation text for my reservation at waterdog for Thursday night. Since there was no accountability on the restaurants end. I won't be back. The whole point of a reservation is to ensure a date goes smoothly. If didn't and I just can't see myself risking another date night here. I'm leaving this review because I hope management can correct this disaster for future customers. Finding good help is hard. But without true and honest feedback your business will not flourish and I hope you can educate and correct the attitude of the hostess. The whole point of dining out is being welcomed into a positive atmosphere and if it's anything but inviting then there really is no point to dining out. Sincerely Chelsea

Yelp
Ambiance 100%, love the vibe, old home that just rambles on and on. So much character, fireplaces, love it. Literally feels like you are in Someone's home. Food was super good, great flavor, everything was elevated. Fish n chips wasn't just fish n chips, they were amazing. Pesto parm fries- killer. I ordered a salad- felt boring but when it came it was so not boring, delish! Pork pasta dish was a hit by the family. The waitress overheard us talking about our son in laws birthday. We were full and didn't order dessert, but they came, brought gelato and sang for him. Super sweet. We didn't tell anyone it was his birthday! Nice touch- super attentive. Prices weren't crazy but with drinks it got costly. Why a 4 star? For a nice restaurant we were surprised to see the staff in long baggy tshirts, my son in law liked it, made it more casual, but seemed a bit sloppy to hubby and I. I say keep it casual but not soppy, maybe a polo not a t shirt!? Will def be back

G V.

Yelp
Nice set up. Good drinks and food. Great service! I would certainly suggest to try different cocktails each time

Aliya S.

Yelp
Waterdog was super cute and cozy on the inside. We loved the lighting and the spacing of the tables. Our servers were kind and did not leave us hanging. The food, however, left a lot to be desired. The food prices were low-ish to midrange, but almost everything we ordered was seriously lacking in flavor and seasoning. We ordered the VASCO wings because the description noted they were flavored with lemon. We didn't taste any lemon at all. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and my partner ordered the surf and turf roll. We both asked for sauce on the side. The fried chicken sandwich came with ranch, and without the ranch and my personal stash of Tabasco the sandwich would have tasted like breading and bun. My partner noted that without the side of butter, his steak and lobster roll would not have tasted like anything. He does not eat mayo based sauces, so he did not try the aioli that came with the roll. Both of us fell in love with the fries, which were cooked well and flavored with Parmesan and herbs.
