Watermark Beach Resort is absolutely stunning! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the lake. The rooms are spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with private balconies that make you feel like you’re waking up in paradise. We stayed at their luxury townhouse and it was worth every single penny. You walk outside to a breathtaking view with the lake at your feet. The pool and hot tub area are a dream, perfect for relaxing while soaking in the sunshine, and the beach gives you direct access to the water for a refreshing swim or paddle. The on-site dining is exceptional, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of local wines to complement your meal. Steaks are to die for. What really makes Watermark stand out, though, is the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. Whether it’s housekeeping, front desk, or restaurant service, everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay special. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and luxury, with endless things to do nearby, wineries, hiking, and charming local shops. Watermark Beach Resort is easily one of the best getaways you can treat yourself to, and I can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Watermark Beach Resort. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable. The kitchen was thoughtfully organized and had everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy some time in the suite. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our visit. If it hadn’t been for a strict cancellation policy at another hotel for the following night, we would have happily extended our stay here. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Watermark Beach Resort to anyone visiting the area.

Cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Super comfy bed. Room stocked with everything you could need. Great location. Really enjoyed the pool. The staff were all really friendly too. This was our first little vacation with our baby and we had an awesome time.

We had such a wonderful stay over the long weekend. It's very clean, with attentive staff. The pool and hot tubs are kept clean, and even the pool showers and bathrooms were always clean. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. It was so nice waking up to the most beautiful lake views. Thanks for an amazing stay.

My friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Watermark Beach Resort. We both want to return next year. The sunrises were so beautiful from our patio. We had everything that we needed in our unit. The housekeeping staff were friendly, efficient & caring. The pool & hot tub are a great asset. We used them everyday. The grounds are very inviting & well maintained. The view is incredible if you have the lake view. I certainly recommend this beautiful resort in Osoyoos!

We had a great time - very clean, lots to do, rooms are gorgeous. Lots of amenities nearby. The staff were very friendly. Lots of room on the beach. It was great to be just steps away from the pool, beach and places to dine. The lake-view rooms are worth it! The only complaint is the constant barking from dogs, as it’s a dog-friendly resort. We were woken up at 7am by a dog barking (owners left it on the balcony). Then had to listen to barking in the evening, when owners left their dog in their room (presumably to go for dinner). More barking at 10pm... They should make one side of the hotel, dog-friendly and the other side, non-dogs. There should also be policies about leaving dogs in the room all day - not fair for the dogs.

My wife and I treated our family to a wonderful vacation on Osoyoos Lake. We had 4 rooms at the Watermark Resort. The location could not have been better. Right on the lake with a beautiful park and swimming beach a few steps away. The hotel had a beautiful pool and deck. There was a large family hot tub and a adult hot tub poolside. Lots of deck chairs and Lounges. The view of he lake added to the beauty of the property. Each room was quite spacious, with kitchen, a large deck and comfortable beds. The hotel was very central to many shops and restaurants. A Boston Pizza was just short walk from the lobby. One of my family members had a room looking over the pool and Lake. The other rooms faced city side, the traffic noise was minimal on the deck. The hotel staff were very courteous and professional. The hotel has multi level covered parking which was included. The Watermark Resort was great choice for our family vacation.

Was working in area and wife joined me. Staff and facilities were excellent in all aspects. Diner is also outstanding and hard not to go every day as it smells so good every time you walk by. Beautiful park immediately adjacent resort with exceptional walking trail and close to everything in town. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
During our visit to Osooyos we stayed at Watermark Beach Resort, a casual yet well appointed spot on the lake with breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool and beach. It's suites are perfect for families or couples and it's the perfect spot to explore all Osoyoos has to offer.

Yelp
Stayed at Watermark for 2 nights in October, and was very pleased with everything! We booked a studio room, but were given a one bedroom, which was a good comp on their part because it has guaranteed we will stay again. The suite had a full kitchen with dishwasher, a washer & dryer, plenty of storage space, and a wonderful view of the lake. Everything was clean and in excellent repair. Bed was comfy, the bedroom had an extra tv, and nice bathrobes were provided. Wifi and parking were included. Even though it was a bit chilly that weekend, we made good use of the outdoor hot tub, but not the salt water pool. They have a lovely beach that looks very inviting in warmer weather. If you are there during bad weather and with kids in tow, they have a games room with books, puzzles and DVDs as well. The resort is close to several great south Okanagan wineries, so Watermark makes an excellent base for a wine tasting trip. It's also right downtown, although that isn't saying much, since Osoyoos is pretty small. 4 1/2 stars - I am looking forward to another trip!

Yelp
This is a very nice resort. The staff is very helpful; free Internet; underground parking garage is included as part of your stay. There is a wine bar downstairs with excellent view. Main St is walking distance with coffee shops and other stores. Far enough from highway 97 so no road noise at all. Very quiet at night. The bed is totally comfortable. I would venture to say it is better than the bed at the Westin where we usually stay while traveling. The room has laundry - that's something I did not expect. A private washer and dryer tucked in a closet near the kitchenette. Pretty cool. Nice granite counter tops and stainless steel full size fridge. Full set of silver wear; including set of cooking knifes. Dish set and wine glasses all in their proper places throughout the kitchen cabinets. Again, didn't expect any of that and it came very handy. Great sofa set with love set. 2 Toshiba LCDs - one in bedroom and the other in the living room. Great private balcony with wicker furniture set - a table and 4 chairs with great view of the lake. In summary, Will be back!

Yelp
Great experience! We stayed in a suite with city view. The room and hotel was nice and clean. The hotel is right on the lake which is beautiful and walking distance to many restaurants and any other stores you need to visit. There were many Covid-19 protocols in place and I felt safe staying there. Everything seemed to be open except the steam rooms. Housekeeping was not available but they promptly brought items to our room that we ran out of. The pool was nice although very busy with lots of kids. They have a pool side bar which is great and the pool area was well maintained. We also loved the restaurant, good service, food and atmosphere. Only complaint is that check out is early at 10am. Will stay again!

Yelp
Just got back from a two night stay at the watermark. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful with knowledge of the area, and answers to any questions we had pertaining to more than just the resort. Room was beautiful, with an over the top kitchen and a breath taking view of the lake. Heavenly bed, and top quality linens/towels. Bar was well stocked, with a great bar tender who knew their stuff, and the breakfast menu was to die for.

Yelp
I'm leaving 4 stars for this hotel as it was clean, affordable, with easy parking and nice staff. However - I feel obligated to call out Osoyoos as a generally horrible destination, as I only wish Yelpers before me had. This place is the pits. It should be on nobody's destination list. If you live somewhere in the vast Canadian/Washington wilderness and look at Osoyoos online and say "Hey - looks like a kinda cute little vacation town I'd like to hit up" - THINK AGAIN. It's a depressing little one-horse town with, apparently, a somewhat talented marketing person in its midst. There is no fun to be had here. Just saying.

Yelp
A beautiful hotel at the "downtown" of Osoyoos. Very clean and the view is magnificent. We are were in late April, and were lucky the weather was great! The outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub that opened late (10pm) with a slide was great for enjoying a dip after a day of wine tasting and dinner. The facilities are new and clean. Room was very spacious and the kitchen was a full kitchen. They also had two large communal barbecues by the pool deck . We conveniently bought our dinner and breakfast just next to the hotel (easy 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive) and that went perfectly with the wines we bought in the day!!! (They didn't have any wine glasses in the room which was surprising, but we asked for them and they brought some up for us)!

Yelp
I'm giving them a five star review based on their customer service and attitude towards people with big bully breed dogs. They didn't care that I had a huge scary looking mastiff and didn't discriminate at all. In fact they were so loving and welcoming toward him in fact thanking me for bringing him and thanking me for my businesses hoping to see me again soon. The place was clean and nice. Not very bright or too many windows but big and well worth the money I only paid $250 night mid April lake front plus $25 night for the pet fee. They provide everything full kitchen BBQ everything patio furniture it's a full loaded condo right on the lake walk. Great pool great hot tub and the gym is really nice! I was more than happy with my stay at this gem in the heart of Osoyoos and definitely know where I'll be staying every time I come back. Very pet friendly and not discriminating against large dogs that are bulky breeds. Big thumbs up! Way to go Watermark! You have my vote! Your front desk staff are awesome!

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in February for a weekend of wine tasting. The hotel was almost empty, and so was much of the town. Not much to do here in February. The pub across the street had 2 other people in it on Saturday night. So, we got a pretty good deal at the hotel, but maybe we could have got a better one.... We paid $100 per night for a mountain/city view studio booking from the internet. A couple months after reserving I saw a Groupon deal for a 2 bedroom lake view suite for $100. I could have cancelled my reservation and bought the groupon but I didn't need 2 bedrooms for my wife and I (not very romantic). But I wanted the lake view so I called them up and see if I could upgrade at no cost. They didn't understand and told me to just buy the groupon and they would figure it out. No, I just wanted a lake view. I gave up and stayed with what I had. The room was nice with a little kitchnette that even had a dishwasher. I didn't use it but it was pretty nice. We had a nice balcony looking over the main stoplight in town. Bed was awesome and the room was big. Only real problem was one goofup on the second night. When we came back to the hotel the 2nd night, my card key didn't work to get in the parking garage. I had to back out and go to the desk where they explained that I had only booked for one night. No, I said I had the receipt from booking 2 nights in the car. They assured me that I was wrong and had only booked 1 night. No matter, they added the second night and gave me new card keys. When we got to our room, the wireless wouldn't work. I went back to the desk and the lady said she figured out their mistake on missing the 2nd night. No apology. She also explained that their internet was working fine and I should just reboot. I had already tried that and all 3 of our wireless devices were not working. She told me to reboot again. I just left and 30 minutes later, everything started working. They must have rebooted their wireless router. So, nice place, great room and bed but they just didn't have the customer service that it would take to get 5 stars.

Yelp
Spot prawn sushi tempura was great, Calamari with lentil salad,Cornish hen with Ginger peach glaze we are great choices and nicely prepared. Cooked to perfection. I pull my hat. This is a cute little space with nice patio. The food was amazing and the best we had in Osoyyos directly.

Yelp
Nice quite stay here with good food and friendly service. The door man was delightful regaling us with stories & history of the area. Not much to do on a Sunday and we seemed to be the only people under 60 staying in the hotel, but we enjoyed a comfortable stay.

Yelp
This was our second stay at the Watermark. The separate bedroom, kitchenette, and location right on the beach make it a good spot to stay with kids. The restaurant has some poor reviews but we found the quality to be excellent and the wine selection (appropriately) very good. Our stay was marred by housekeeping. We called the front desk each morning to request housekeeping come between 9-1 so that the room would be clean when we returned to put our toddler down for a nap. They only managed to accomplish this one out of three days. One day despite three calls (first at 930) the first knock on the door from housekeeping was at 3 pm. We had to decline since our little one was sleeping. Another day I asked housekeeping directly (in addition to calling the front) as we were leaving since they were next door. Hours later we came back to a room that had not been cleaned! Asking for housekeeping within a four hour window should not be too much to ask, and calling every day to get your room cleaned at a reasonable time should not be required. At checkout the staff told us they would let management know of our concerns so that they could "fix it". We haven't heard anything from them..... We are unlikely to return to the watermark next year or recommend it to friends as a result.

Yelp
Nice clean and spacious rooms, perfect location, beautiful resort and great service. Happy to be here in December! When it's quiet and peaceful.

Yelp
We booked a February stay at the Watermark Beach Resort to escape the cold winter in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Well we arrived in Osoyoos only to discover it was experiencing one of its coldest winters in 20+ years. This should have been a disappointment except that this resort outshone and out-warmth the weather. Our room was excellent: clean, well equipped, well serviced and beyond our expectations. Combine this with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and excellent coffee and restaurant, we are more than enjoying our stay. Despite the cold weather, we really lucked out.

Yelp
We stayed here for a week with the kids and had an excellent time. Hotel rooms (we stayed in a 1 bedroom) were spacious, clean, well appointed, and had a full kitchen and a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean with lots of loungers and umbrellas. The kids loved the water slide. I like loved the pool side bar. We ate one dinner at the restaurant. Had tapas and it was good. Price was what we expected from a resort restaurant. But since we had a kitchen and communal BBQs and a grocery store next to us we mainly ate in. Lake is beautiful and warm enough to swim. We spent the afternoon visiting the abundant vineyards for wine tasting. Fabulous wines. We had such a great time we immediately rebooked a week for next summer.

Yelp
We stayed at the Watermark Beach Resort for my Birthday weekend in April. The property was beautiful, the front desk staff where helpful. However, their housekeeping staff where a nightmare. With the do not disturb sign on the door, housekeeping actually knocked and entered the suite. Shocked? Me too seeing as I was caught in an embarrassing private situation with my partner - diving for towels as we got out of the tub. I proceeded to the front desk, reported the staff member. They comped me a free night and gave a bottle of wine. The only question that I really have is . . . the "do not disturb" sign means that housekeeping is not to enter the room. It also means that there is "no work to do in that space at that time". So why would they enter the room? This raises concerns for me about leaving valuables . . . or even leaving anything unattended. If I hadn't had that experience . . . I would have stayed there again. However, I was given no direct indication as to why the woman I identified would enter the room or the repercussions for that fiduciary breach. I think an explaination would have gone further than a bottle of wine.

Yelp
On our way back from Vancouver we decided to go via highway 3 and stop in this area to visit some of the wineries we here so much about. We got a great rate on this hotel, and where pleasantly surprised on how nice it was. The room was very nice and with a kitchen we made the trip around the corner to get some food from the store to cook the first homemade dinner in a long time. A very nice hotel located, and near a lot of good winery definitely worth the stay.

Yelp
I did not stay here, but I did have dinner. Chef Natasha has a great feel for creativity. The Macaroni & Cheese with Roasted Peaches and Bacon was just wonderful. I still think about it!
