We've been coming to Watermark for years, but honestly it seems like it's gone downhill. It used to have big meals for decent prices with a great ambiance and as a result, they always had a long wait. Tonight, on a Saturday night, there was no wait for a table of 5 which was concerning. First thing I noticed is that their house wine for $10 a glass of cab is cupcake cab. Seriously? That's a $7 bottle of wine at the grocery store. What a joke.
In addition, our waiter was super nice, but he made a few mistakes. Mushrooms on a meal when we asked to have none, the wrong drink order. As for food, we got the calamari, two London broils, the salmon, the corvina, and the scallops. First off, I will say that all of the steak items including the London broil and the peppered steak, are made with filet, which is a gold star for them. However, one of the London Broils was literally cold by the time it got to the table. So we're a couple of the baked potatoes. Everything else with the exception of the corvina was just super average. Nothing special. The salmon was well cooked, but had no special flavor or sauce. The scallops were just fine. For a place that charges $2.99 just to switch from green beans to broccoli, I expected a lot more. No wonder there was no wait and a ton of open tables.
