The only good thing is the ambience, food was horrible to say the least. Nothing in the spread was good, we mainly tried the non veg options. I’ve had so many buffet options but to get such a bad experience food wise from a 5star restaurant is not at all expected. Every food item was bland in taste, didn’t meet expectations, considering the price point. The dessert was slightly better but nothing extraordinary either. Service can also be improved is what we felt.

This is an excellent restaurant to have lunch or dinner. The most important part, you are welcomed and the staff are courteous. Went there with family and enjoyed a nice dinner. The table is quite spacious and the chairs comfortable. Good ambiance, and the entrance is a real treat with all the greenery, landscaped gardens all around you. You will feel the beach vibe outside and the cozy ambiance of a top-tier restaurant on the inside. The food is good, well prepared and some of the items like the Platter consisting of chicken, prawns and fish is very well made. Their fried rice is excellent. Service as mentioned earlier, is of a high standard, with Ms. Fathima and her team looking after us. Every one is efficient. Hope they continue the good work.

Waters Edge, nestled inside a beautiful resort in Mahabalipuram with direct beach access, turned out to be the perfect spot for our large group of 16, including 8 adults and 8 kids. We visited for their breakfast buffet, and the experience was nothing short of delightful! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and Sumita, in particular, went above and beyond to make our experience special. Managing a group of our size, especially with so many kids, is no easy task, but Sumita handled it with incredible grace, attentiveness, and a genuine smile. She made sure the kids’ specific wants were met—whether it was extra pancakes, fresh juice refills, or keeping them entertained with her friendly demeanor. Her hospitality made the experience stress-free and enjoyable for all the parents. The breakfast spread was lavish, offering a wide variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. The live counters for dosas and eggs were a big hit, and the freshly baked croissants and pastries were divine. The pool front location added to the charm, as we could feel the cool breeze and enjoy stunning views while indulging in the meal. The kids loved the space and the staff's friendliness, and the adults appreciated the seamless service and quality of food. After breakfast, we took a short stroll to the beach, which was clean and serene—a perfect way to wrap up the morning. A big thanks to the entire Waters Edge team, and especially Sumita, for making this breakfast one to remember. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious meal with impeccable service in a stunning location! We’ll definitely be back.

Warm welcoming team. It was a Pleasant dinning option and mouth watering items, appealing display. The burnt garlic, hand tossed pizza were good. The portion of the food is apt and fresh in taste. Both buffet and À le carte are available.

This restaurant is located inside the Radisson Blu hotel and resort in Mahabalipuram. The restaurant offers buffet options for those staying in the Resort. The breakfast options include a convenient spread of Continental and traditional South and North Indian options. They have a wonderful coffee and tea bar which makes fresh coffee. I've had varied experience on the taste for the filter coffee but overall like the Masala chai here and recommend the same. The service in general tends to be good. I do think having some additional staff for taking orders might be helpful. It can get busy on certain days and given the crowd that's possible in a resort, patience is a virtue! :-) I got a chance to order some local dishes when I was here. The Madras onion and keerai (spinach) pakodas were amazing with masala chai in the evening. I also had the mango milkshake which was very delicious. The duty managers do a good job service intervention when you have an issue. So do request for the manager in case you run into any issue. I recommend this restaurant for the snacks and beverage choices. Highly recommend the breakfast options available here. If you are a Radisson Blu rewards member and stay at the resort, you do get 10% discount on the food and beverage here.

A little away from the hustle and bustle of the Chennai metropolis, tucked away near the sea shore of Mahabalipuram, spread over a vast area is the Radisson Blue Hotel. One of its many restaurants is this Water' s Edge Cafe - a fabulous place to spend some quality time with your family. One thing that sets this apart from other restaurants is the ambience - a sumptuous fare set against the backdrop of sparkling aqua marine waters of the pool, long corridors with a canopy of bright red roof and a vast dining hall lit by the natural light. I have been a regular visitor to this place more to the ambience - despite the distance from the city.

Buffet spread was limited for N.V. Veg was okayish. A few items were dried and stale and after we complained they took time but changed it eventually. The property is massive and it provided ample opportunity to connect with our gang. This rating was only for the property and not for the food. When there are multiple places along the ECR with similar offerings guess the management has to do something drastically different to continue to attract people from Chennai.

Awesome!!! From quality to quantity to service.... everything is good. You have option to chooses buffet or alacarte for dinner. Ambiance is really great which is next to pool. Service is very good, but I felt it could be little better. Food is very good. Chef can prepare the way you want. Every one should try the splendid Breakfast. You can get almost everything in breakfast .... whether it indian or continental. I like the waffle most.
