Everyone talks about the amazing experience they had at this glass factory, and I would agree that this place is the best glass blowing class you will have on Murano Island. After all, they have almost 1300 5-star reviews, which is not an easy feat. Where I really think this place shines head and shoulders above anywhere else is their integrity. Our family of five booked a glass blowing experience class with this company, and we walked away with one of our core memories. We enjoyed it so much that we went a little overboard and purchased several of their pieces in their showroom. Some of the pieces are one of one, beautifully crafted by well-known local artists, and we wanted to take a piece of Italy back home with us to remember forever. Unfortunately, one of the (very expensive) pieces was damaged during the shipping process back to the United States. This company took full ownership, and asked the original artist to try and replicate the damaged piece. Unfortunately, the new artwork was not to our standards, and I declined the remake. Wave Murano offered a credit for me to use in the event we came back to Italy in the future. I requested a refund instead, and Wave Murano did not hesitate and promptly transferred the money back to my bank account. Their communication was flawless throughout this entire process, keeping me up-to-date every step of the way. I will definitely go back and visit in the future, and I would go out of my way to purchase their magnificent artwork again. If all companies conducted business with the integrity of Wave Murano, the world would be a better place. They are well-deserving of their 5-star rating.

FANTASTIC! My teenage daughter and I did the beginner glassblowing class and it was superb. Emilia our instructor was engaging, enthusiastic and clearly passionate for this craft. Perfect blend of group activity with solo experience as we each got to make our very own piece. This may go down as the highlight of our trip.

Our trip to Murano Island We were honestly very surprised – in a good way! Now we understand why this place has such a high rating on Google. You walk into a charming space filled with people, cheerful Italian music, and live glassblowing demonstrations. You can just watch — it’s completely free. If you want, you can also take a tour or visit the shop. It’s such a lovely and unique experience. I definitely recommend visiting to feel the authentic atmosphere of Murano!

This is one of the most entertaining things I've seen visiting Murano. These guys work the glass as it's playdough...however the girls OMG! They do lots of heavy lifting and work just as good and hard as the boys. The whole team is just so in sync that's a pleasure to watch. Highly recommended to visit this place if you are ever around Murano

Best experience of glass blowing ever! Not only do you get an up close and personal tour of the factory, you are gently guided by a great maestro instructor from the factory in the glass blowing process. A simple introduction in handling the pipes you will be using and then an easy practice with water and then a practice with gathering the glass BEFORE you even begin to start making your prized one of a kind piece of magic! Of course, it's intimidating but our maestro, Hillary, was very supportive and very clear in each step we were taking. Reminding us about the steps because we were all nervous. One person at a time steps up and picks the project and colors and the fun begins!! Hillary is super smart in keeping our hand away from the hot glass and safety is always watched. Watching the glass glow and grow and morph into my project was exhilarating. Hitting the metal pipe to release the glass gets a gasp from onlookers curious about the process. Hillary made sure our projects were going to succeed and all 4 did! Thank you Wave for an amazing beginner glass blowing experience. I would do this again in a heartbeat!!

Simply WOW! there was no stone left unturned. Marco did an amazing tour with detailed information about the whole process. He took us inside the place and we visited every single area of the process. We even learned how the glass is actually made. We also met the owner and the maestros of glass blowing. I was blown away. This is one of the best tours I've ever made because of the detailed level. I am a mosaic artist and the glass is my passion. Innovative, creative, young fun group of artists in this place. Great music! by the way!!

The beginner's glassblowing workshop at Wave was the highlight of our time in Venice! Sometimes art experiences like this can be mediocre—some folks are great artists, some are great teachers. Our instructor, Emilia, is definitely both. She was engaging and encouraging, clearly able to explain not just what to do but how and why we were doing it. Her passion and patience helped everyone in our class of four move with confidence. In fact, the entire team was engaging in that same way. Their teamwork was inspiring and made the atmosphere inside the studio fun, friendly, and inspiring. In the 2 or 3 hours we were there, the team at Wave welcomed guests to watch, others took a tour of the space, and some—like us—hung around for the full workshop experience. Everyone was greeted warmly, like they belonged there too. I can’t wait to return home to the U.S. and receive our creations, which the team arranged to ship home for us. The entire island of Murano is a treasure, and Wave is the shiniest gem of all.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and had an absolute blast learning about glassblowing, watching the masters at work behind the scenes, and learning to make our own pieces. Hillary was such an amazing and patient instructor. Love that the groups are kept small and allows for more intimate learning. The factory itself is very warm (makes sense with all the fire) but they have fans and water to keep it somewhat nice. All in all our favorite experience and trip that came out of coming to Venice and learning Marano was just a short boat ride away. Highly recommend doing the glassblowing experience over just walking around and seeing the other factories.
