If I could give 0 stars, I would. Jennifer, the manager of this place, is the rudest, most miserable person I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. After having spent a large amount of money here on multiple occasions, trying to support local, I called to ask for a reprint of a receipt that I needed to submit for business purposes. The first employee I spoke to was very kind and said that wouldn’t be any issue, but that she’d need her manager’s assistance. I thanked her for her help, and then I started having to deal with Jennifer. Within that first interaction, I immediately noticed that she did not possess an ounce of kindness or customer service. She seemed irritated during the entire call, even though I was politely asking for help on a simple matter. I asked her if she could send me a copy of the receipt, as I work 45 minutes away, and she said “No. I’d have to use my personal number and there’s no way I’m doing that.” I never asked her to use her personal phone, so I asked about email, and she loudly sighed and asked for my email address. This was around 3:00 pm. I wait for an hour, and still haven’t received the email. I call back to follow up and make sure she copied my email address correctly, and I’m told (by another employee who was kind) that Jennifer will do it “when she gets time”. I never receive an email that day. I call back the following morning and have the pleasure of speaking directly with Jennifer again, and I cannot put into words how rude, condescending, and completely unbothered she was by such a simple request. Since she said they were “very busy” and that she would not take the 2 seconds it would take to send an email (couldn’t even guarantee she would do it during her 7 hour work day), I decided to leave work and drive 45 minutes to physically obtain this receipt. When I got there, there were 4 employees working and not another soul in or near the store. The receipt was sitting on the counter, and Jennifer was sitting on her phone looking just as rude as she sounds on the phone. I am someone who values simply being a good person and taking care of your customers. For that reason, I will not be supporting this business any longer, and I hope the owner will consider hiring a manager with a heart for people or at the very least, basic customer service skills.
