I actually work close by and recommend this place to all of our hotel guests, which is why I tried it out myself. We had the pleasure of having Frederick as our server and he was absolutely amazing. The food quality was terrific and the price was much lower than I anticipated. I was able to feed 3 people with three courses for $116.00, including some wine. You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant.

A very mediocre steakhouse attempting to charge premiere prices. The bisque was almost all heavy cream with no reduction. The wedge salad was wilted with plastic like tomatoes. The potato skins were overcooked potatoes with mashed potatoes on top. The steaks were cooked to order, but the cuts were tough. The wine list was missing some selections without mention they were missing. The sauteed mushrooms were swimming in butter without taste. The vegetables were very oily without seasoning. And to top it off, was running to the restroom and dealing with nausea after the meal because of the immense amount of oil and grease. Basically, everything was bad. Not a place I would venture back to for free, much less if I had to pay the $32 for the steak or $30 for the rest of the meal.

Loved it! Great atmosphere and my waiter Frederick was fantastic. Kind yet sociable. Very pleased with the service and the food hit the spot. If I return to Las Vegas I will be returning!

Never had a bad meal here. Been eating dinner at Waverly's every now, and then since 2007. Had both excellent meats, and also seafood dishes. Very cozy atmosphere, and the service is always top notch in my experiences.

My husband and I went in here because we were going to the excellent movie theater at the cannery. Let me tell you our experience was amazing. The best service very attentive steak was cooked to a perfect temp burger was so juicy Definitely a fantastic date nite experience.

Obscenely good food. I've reviewed my share of places and in recent memory I can't remember a venue that has provided this quality of food. The prices match the food and you likely won't fine a main course for less than $30 but if you have the money to spend on your trip to Vegas then you find some amazing food and some friendly staff who treat you like your royalty.

Had the Prime Rib, mashed potatoes and salad. I have been sick for the last 24hrs. My husband had the same meal.. He didn't as sick as I did. The difference was the bread and butter. Needless to say it was just ok. I won't be back and do not recommend this restaurantto anyone!

This was an excellent dining experience...the service and the food was great! I will definitely be returning when I am in Vegas again. Props to the chef Andres Rodriguez, the maître d, Darryl and the manager, Todd who made our experience over the top!

A good Judy of mine is a regular at the cannery casino and racked up some serious points for a free steak dinner for two. I went into this with high expectations because in my experience most of the older steak houses in Vegas are great. Carve proved my instincts to be right. Inside is definitely an old school steakhouse vibe, nothing very special about the décor, however the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive. She was very knowledgeable about wine and helped me pick out a cabernet for my specific steak. I also indulged in a lemon drop and it was mixed perfectly. All the staff worked together to accommodated us and I appreciated that.

Same shit, different restaurant. Nobody gives a shit anymore. Came in, no bartender for 5 minutes, walked out and went to another place within the casino and was immediately attended to and they were busy unlike carve. Bro was honest and said 45 minute wait for food because of a server calling in sick. I appreciated the honesty and left and went back to carve. Bartender was there this time, made my order of app, salad and prime rib. All came out at basically the same time, with no silverware or napkin l. Had to wait till the bartenders recognized that. Food was nothing special and nothing that really stood out. No bread basket offered ot brought out like everyone else and i am sick of asking for things that should be done automatically. Whatever. Bottom line is, i stay here often due to business, but I wont be back becuase i have a rental car and ther are so many other places to try. This place failed me and i was expecting so much more as a first time diner.

Carved Prime Rib is a steakhouse located in The Cannery Casino Hotel in North Las Vegas. We tried the 10 ounce Prime Rib Burgers that are very good! We sat at the bar and also had fantastic service from the bartender. The burgers come with skinny fries. They give you a very generous amount of skinny fries and they come in a large bowl that stays hot. The burger is also very large and can be two meals for some people. I thought the burger and service was 5 stars. They did a great job with the fries but they aren't the same level as the burger.

Classy old school Steakhouse in the Cannery Casino has good meats in steakhouse fashion with EXCEPTIONAL service. Lots of choices on the menu and an attractive, well stocked bar. The Best Thing about Carve is the Top Notch service. The waiters are attentive and professional. You could see they take pride in their work! Daniel, the manager, leads by example and greets customers as they enter. It's nice going to a restaurant where you feel valued as a customer! Recommend! The Best Classy Steak place in North Las Vegas.

I will never come back. I just left this place after TWO HOURS. Today is Father's Day and my dad decided he wanted prime rib for dinner and picked this place because it was nearby and had decent reviews. We had a reservation at 6:30pm and we did not leave until 8:30pm. More than half of our experience was waiting, looking around and wondering where our food, or even our waiter, was. We essentially had a 3 course meal and waited 30 minutes between each course including 30 minutes for someone to come up to us to offer water or bread after we have already sat down. We waited all that time and the food was mediocre at best and I'm overall extremely disappointed. There was apologies or acknowledgement of our prolonged wait time even though it was obvious that we were looking around for help the entire time. We felt ignored and forgotten which is hard to believe since we were a party of 6. Most of the tables around us that had already left were also not cleared until we were getting towards the end of our meal (or the end of their shift, I assume, since they close at 9). I'm not sure if they were understaffed and trying to catch up on things, but there is no excuse as there are expectations that we had for a the establishment and hardly any of them checked any boxes. It is difficult for my family to find time to get together and have a meal as my siblings and I are all adults now. I very much regret coming here on the one few nights we were able to all come together. Especially considering the fact that we were celebrating my father. Please do better.

My wife and I are well traveled. This has got to be one of the best steak houses we have eaten. My wife had 8oz filet cooked to perfection...medium rare. I had the scallops. OMG! Melt in your mouth butter good. Wine selection was impressive. The service, again, one of the best. We literally tried to finish my water and drink, we could not. Staff were on top of everything. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and he explained the menu with precision and knowledge. He went as far to recommend items not on the menu. And they were absolutely delicious. 5 star all the way through. Can't wait to come back again. The ambiance was also great. We could carry a conversation without having to lean in and yell. Highly recommend Caber Steak

The Carve is a nice place. The atmosphere is calm and quieter if you are there early. One downside is that the restaurant does not open until 5 PM. You can sit in the lounge/bar starting at 4 PM and have a full meal. It would be nice to be able to utilize the restaurant area at 3 PM or 4 PM. I'd assume the changes are due to COVID and fewer customers. I ordered the Carve Prime Rib Steak. Yum . Because potatoes don't like me, I ordered extra vegetables. The steak was cooked well & tender. Didn't need steak sauce. The vegetables were cooked nicely, with great flavor and not oily. The lobster bisque soup was perfect. Creamy and great flavor. Candi was the waitress who served me. She was funny, personable, and provided great service. Note that they provide a military discount on your bill. The food was good, the experience was good. Sitting in the lounge actually allowed a quieter and calmer environment to be able to carry a conversation without having to talk loud because of the other customers. Happy Yelping!

I used my rewards credit for the meal so it was basically free, I paid for the appetizer and tip. The Chicken Alfredo was delicious, more decadent that Olive Garden (which I really enjoy) the stuffed mushrooms were ok, a little bit on the more "seafoody" side than I would expect but still good. They bread and butter was very good. The service was excellent! Friendly and timely!

Food was really good. We did take out but hopefully we can dine in next time. Food was priced normal compared to other steakhouse. Burger was really tasty. Their pasta dishes are delicious too. The lobster bisque was a little too pricey for the portion but the quality is there. They could have made it crispier for calamari for take out but it decent. Overall we would enjoy going back here again.

Waiter was not attentive, food was either overcooked or lacking flavor. Immediately upon them placing my plate on the table I found a hair that I mentioned to them and pulled off. There was no apology just excuses made. I was told I see the hair but there is nobody in the kitchen with long hair. The waiter said sorry I just got here. They did offer to remove it from the table and make another but noted it will take awhile and proceed to ask if that is what I want and seemed annoyed when I said yes. The prime rib was average, short rib was overcooked and steak flavorless.

service was point on food was excellent and prices were very reasonable for a high quality restaurant. i had the prime rib and it was excellrnt. my wife had the steak lobster and shrimp scampi special. which for $43 is a real bargain we will be back

Best service ever. Very friendly and attentive. The prime rib was to die for. Juicy and flavorful. Upscale restaurant that's actually affordable. My old fashion was made the right way. Will definitely be a stop for me while in Vegas moving forward. Then you simply walk out into the casino and spend what you saved on the slots. Win/win.

I absolutely fell in love with this restaurant. The service and food are both impeccable. The French Onion soup is a must! The service staff and kitchen staff are both top notch. Throughly enjoyed our visit.

Service was great no complaints there. But the food was mediocre at best. The prime rib was bland and had a chalky texture. The backed potato was not fully cooked was hard and room temperature. Salad was good and mushroom appetizer was good but just really disappointed in the quality of the prime rib. Will not be back.

Eeew. Spent $100 for two on a two tiny salads, mediocre mashed potatoes, and a prime rib that was not prime.. must have been choice, because it was 1/2 fat and gristle. Not worth the price. Outback Steakhouse which is 4min down the road has much better food and service, which is so crazy for me to say. Also.. the younger male "manager" or asst. manager was just walking around not helping at all. He had no idea what he was doing. We were laughing at him so hard, it was hilarious. Back and fourth.. back and fourth.. back and forth.. umm, maybe help your waitstaff deliver drinks and stop talking to the bartender? Maybe help clear off some tables? I imagine he won't be there for that long- doesn't want to get his delicate hands dirty.

Prime rib was super juicy and delicious. One of the best slices I've had. Prices are kinda on the high side but it comes w/all the sides and soup. It's a little dark and that's good but you gotta bust out the flashlight to read the paper menus. It was decent service 3.5 but the food was a good 4.5. Overall I'll give it a 4!

this was first time we ate here. we came to celebrate my husbands birthday. the manager Daniel greeted us and walked us to the table. He was very nice. the busser brought us some water and Derrek was our amazing server. we didn't have to ask for any refills and constantly made sure we were good. he was very friendly and had knowledge of the menu. the prime rib was juicy and well seasoned. i never had corn chowder and that was so delicious. the stuffed mushrooms were cheezy licious. i will definetly be back . the service was amazing!!!!

Let me say the service here is beypnd exceptional. They do a wonderful job with being attentive, ensuring that food os timely and enjoyable and overall they were knowledgeable and understood their individual roles. The catfish was delightful. We did have the crab cakes as an appetizer, but we sent them back as they were entirely too salty. The salmon was a bit dry but the sweet sauce surrounding the salmon offset the dryness. All In all I plan to return and try other delicacies on the menu.

We were first times to Carve...We wanted a good prime rib, and By golly...We got it. The service was magnificent. Our server was Darryl and he showed impeccable service, and we will be visiting again. The food was amazing and we loved it. My prime rib was cooked to perfection.

Ambiance is casual and very inviting !! The food is delicious and the service is top notch . This is a great secret in the cannery and I highly recommend this place . It's our second time in 2 weeks !! We like to sit on the bar area as they have the football games on along with other sports .

Mood- Celebration I set up a reservation and was very specific that it was a birthday in the notes. Arrived a little early and due to Covid was not allowed to sit. But was offered to sit in the lounge area until the booth that was requested was available. I should have remained in the lounge as the rest of the evening went downhill at this point. We were given menus and the run down of the specials for the day. We opted for the Ribeyes, Fettuccine,Mashed Potatoes, Baked Potato, and French onion soup, Tiramisu,plus given complimentary bread with butter. The food was decent. However the wait time was outrageous. I was shocked by this. Our drinks were not filled. And I had to tell the waiter why we there, which kinda takes away from the surprise of it all. " I mean why not just tell the kid Santa isnt real in front of the kid " Didnt make for a special birthday. At this point the waiter put a candle on the slice of cake and brought it out. No Happy Birthday was even attempted in writing on the dish. We basically were so off- put by the whole situation that we took it to go. I had to ask for separate boxes for the mashed potatoes & paste as I didnt want the blood from the steak to saturate them. Interior is several table and chair arrangements, plus booths. There is a bar, and a lounge complete with TVs showing the games. That was my highlight. The server tried, maybe I was just there at the wrong day and def the wrong time. Cant recommend nor not - pricing was typical for a steakhouse. The busser we had has friendly and so was the initial hostess that sat us in the lounge. My overall impression of our Thanksgiving dinner was just okay. I called in advance to make a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. It was not crowded at all. We got a basket of a mixed bread assortment to start & the best tasting dinner rolls with creamy butter. The turkey was not dry and very tasty and the squash soup was good too. Our only disappointment was the prime rib. We asked for medium rare but it came out very pink and pretty rare. So we asked them to send it back to heat up slightly, but they ended up grilling it. The prime rib was also a bit on the chewy side but was still okay. The bread pudding dessert was amazing! In general, I would only probably come here again on another holiday if they offer another holiday dinner menu because there are other options such as Cracker Barrel down the street.

Steak was perfect, the buttery mashed reminded to us of Hells Kitchen potato purée. So good. Chicken Alfredo was also good. Service was great.

I picked Carve for the prime rib sliders. We stopped in before a concert, looking forward to those sliders. Oh no, the server informed us they're out of sliders! Prime rib sliders, mind you, at a prime rib restaurant. Fails the smell test. I had the Carver salad instead, begrudgingly, which was fine. My dining partner had the prime rib, which she said was good. However, it came with the saddest side of vegetables we'd ever seen! Mushy, unappealing and nothing that should ever be served in a finer dining establishment. Not looking good for Carve. We sat in the alcove area next to the bar, which is a nice spot. The restaurant is nicely appointed, and the bar was doing lively business while we dined. I can't recommend this place, based on the very suspicious out of sliders story that we had the misfortune of being told.

Decided to go to Carve for our 24th anniversary, disappointed from the start. Had reservation for 7:30, arrived at 7:15 and was informed that they were out of prime rib. How can you have a prime rib restaurant and be out of prime rib. They gave us two appetizers on the house, we got the calamari which was like rubber bands and got the meatballs which were really good. long wait for food, ordered the bone in rib eye which was just okay. I thought it was a little tough, wife thought it was good. Overall I don't think I will be back and don't recommend this place.

Decided to dine in here last night before the concert, cute little place but service is horrible! Our waiter is not used to taking care of busy crowd. He's running around everywhere like a headless rooster! Either they were understaff, or unprofessional. Took him half an hour just to deliver our bottle of wine! Isn't that the first thing to deliver before the appetizers? SMFH! The portobello mushroom fries batter was hard as a rock, bone in rib eye was tasteless!, lamb chops were good, service was just a major factor. I tried it, don't think I'll be dining here again unless they change management, executive chef, and server. Don't highly recommend it.

DISAPPOINTED!!! I was excited to enjoy a good take out meal but unfortunately my meal was ruined by the discrimination and bad service I received by the bar tender CANDIA. The hostess told us to place the order at the bar but since we approached the bar the bartender ignored us. After a while she finally took our order but we can tell the difference in how she was talking to us compared to how she was helping the white dinners that were at the bar. We came back after 30 minutes and she told us five more minutes your order is next. We waited and they placed our order at the bar. She saw it and was helping everyone else and ignoring the bag even though she knew the food was ready and we were there waiting for it. I finally asked her "excuse me is that my food?" With a bad attitude she gave it to me. I went back to my hotel room and I noticed they forgot the bread. I went back and I asked the hostess if she could get me bread since they forgot to put it in the bag. The bartender saw me and said "they already took your order", I told her "yes but they forgot to give me bread". She was so sarcastic and said "it's because you didn't pay for the bread". I was shocked she said that since the bread is always included in any meal!! I almost asked to speak with the manager but since they were busy I didn't wanted to make a scene. On my way out I told the hostess how Candia was so discourteous with us. It's shameful how one person can ruin the hard work of the chef and the other good employees. Other than that, the food was delicious.

We have eaten here a few times the steak has always been prepared properly. We never had an issue with service, despite complaints in other reviews. Actually, we've had exemplary service. This is a very good steakhouse, even if it wasn't in the casino.

Service at first was slow. We walked in and the hostess walked away from the stand leaving us to stand there and wait. After being seated we waited 15 mins for the watier to come to the table to acknowledge us. Minus 1 star. Waiter was very friendly and professional. Food was very good. Not the best Ive had at a steak restaurant but pretty darn good especially for the price. I was a little disappointed with the size of the shrimps in the shrimp cocktail. But good food no complaints. Steak was cooked the way I asked.

Service definitely stands out. Darryl our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. 4 stars for that alone! Limited items on the menu, wish they include seafood option such as crab legs and oysters, but oh well, it is what it is. Steaks were not seasoned enough and required some sauce to go with it. We got the bordelaise sauce (red wine reduction) which made it better. Also it could use more tenderizing as the filet mignon medium was a bit tougher than expected.

The service here is exceptional. Our server, Rio, was super attentive but not intrusive. He always made sure we had what we needed and checked to see if everything was tasting good. I had the roasted corn chowder to start, it was so good. I was surprised, as this is not a common soup I see on any menu. Certainly made me happy, as it happens to be one of my favourites. The others in my group had the house salad, which they said was quite delicious. They serve complimentary sourdough bread; it was hot and tasty and disappeared very quickly. My prime rib (10oz) was perfectly medium rare. It was divine, tender and juicy. I ordered a side of scallops. They were sweet and not too salty, seared just right. The only part of the meal that was not great were the mashed potatoes that came with the entree. They were very "meh" and could have been used as plaster as they were very dense. Otherwise, everything tasted great. The au jus is not overly salty, the creamy horseradish is more cream than horseradish. I happen to like mine with a little more zing. My mother got the grilled asparagus with crab and bearnaise as an add on and she loved it. The red sangria was tasty, not too sweet, had a fair amount of fruit. I loved my Cosmo and would have had a second one if I had not been saving room for dessert. The crème brulée was very creamy and full of vanilla bean seeds. The others had the sizzling deep dish apple pie. It is served it on a super hot platter then pour the caramel sauce on top. The dining room is very open but it also feels intimate at the same time. Despite the amount of people, it also was not too noisy.

The food is delicious. Definitely try the prime rib sliders and asparagus/mushroom dippers. My main course was the fried chicken. It was so good with a yummy gravy. Chef Richie Rodriguez is one of the best and made sure we had a great experience.

First time at this steakhouse and WOW. I'm not one to write reviews but I really felt like this is a place that deserves it. Started drinking at the bar with my buddy and our bartender Bri was amazing "that should so you right off the bat how welcoming this place is if you remember the names. Anyways had a few drinks then started to get hungry we asked Bri if it was alright if we can get a table. Right away she sat us and took care of us the whole night even though she didn't have to. We both got prime rib and some sides which were all AMAZING. Minutes after our food came out the head chef actually came out and asked how our food was. Mike was his name and I have never had a head chef come out and ask us how the steak was. What could I say, it was great nothing but compliments. Overall it was a great experience for a steakhouse off the strip it. I would definitely come back again because it was so welcoming and the food was great.

I'll compliment the service first. Myself and family has Rio as our server, and he made sure he accommodated our needs. My aunt can't have spices on her food, and Rio provided some alternatives to ensure that her experience is great. I had the Prime burger and it was pretty good. They're practicing social distancing as well to make sure each party is 6ft apart.

The whole experience is amazing from employees to a restaurant manager everyone here is awesome food is great prices not high with the food quality.. Let me start by saying I am 58yrs old worked in many Restaurants in my life.I have eaten at Steak establishments all over the world from Florida to Brussel..This had to he the worst dinning experience ever..The service was absolutely repulsive. My party walked in the door at 6:30pm promptly we order crab cakes which came out right away,and they taste great after that everything went south,however the food on a scale 1 - 10 was a good 7 but the service Was lousy horrible Our food didn't come out till almost 8pm and the place was not full...please stay away from this DUMP and if u in a rush or want to eat which most people go to stk houses to do STAY AWAY

For a place that isn't very busy the service is pretty slow. It took about an hour to receive our food. I ordered the New York strip steak ($28) and it was not edible. As you can see from the pick it was over cooked, hard to cut and not seasoned. The mashed potatoes were flavorless you could tell they were instant box potatoes ($6). The broccoli was good, however cold ($6). I gave them two stars because my husband said his shrimp and scallops were good, the portions just extremely small. For the money I expected more... Very disappointing.

The food is outstanding! This is my 2nd time eating at Carve. The first time I had the salmon which was prepared perfectly. Tonight I enjoyed the Cajun Prime Rib. Amazing! Service is professional & on point

This was such a pleasant surprise! From the nice greeter to the excellent waiter, Derrick, everyone we came in contact with was very nice and professional. But the food... !!! Everything was cooked perfectly, was delicious (the huge Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding and so juicy and fresh) and the portions were so big! You really can't go wrong here. Come support them -- they were quiet for a Saturday. Let's support our local casinos!

First time going, and loved the prime rib and menu is good, prices are average, service was excellent, well definitely be back, atmosphere was is very quiet and nice

We made reservations to dine at Carve yesterday, Wednesday, for 5 PM...I was hesitant about going there, especially after reading some of the negative reviews regarding the restaurant....but my wife wanted to try it so we went........We were greeted by the hostess promptly at 5 PM...We gave them my name for the reservation and she said we weren't on the reservation list (strange: I had an email confirming the reservation) ....but she said we'll still seat you....First hurdle out of the way....but I was still worried that the worst was yet to come.........We were promptly greeted by our cheerful server for the evening, Christopher, who asked what wanted to drink for the evening....I asked for a beverage menu......which Christopher brought to us very quickly......I ordered an Old-fashioned and she ordered a Manhattan.... .....In the meantime Christopher guided us through their menu and my wife ordered a thick-cut prime sirloin steak...Christopher suggested she get the steak butterflied to insure it would cook nicely and not end up charred on the outside....we agreed and also to Christopher's suggestion to order it with the Bordelaise Sauce. For me it had to be the 16 oz prime rib cut.... .....after munching on the basket of delicious bread and sipping our drinks for 20 minutes ( I also was served a simple garden salad correctly presented chilled and in a chilled serving plate---with a simple but good vinegar-oil dressing)...... ....Then our anticipated order arrived, wheeled to our table on a cart (Wow! 1950s elegance).... Both the prime rib and prime sirloin steak were presented and visually looked delicious....the sides of grilled asparagus, house-made steak fries, chefs vegetables, and condiments....We ate everything.....delicious....The prime rib was a tender, flavorful medium rare (perhaps they sous-vide their prime rib because the small amount of fat with any prime rib slice was absolutely white----if it's roasted the fat caramelized and is a delicious tid bit---but not that night.....my wife polished off her 10 ounce steak and pronounced delicious.... .....Great service, bona fide prime rib/steak house delicious food....and the dining room was a warm comfortable place---pleasing to the eyes.... .....perhaps the past bad reviews were based on the food preparation and service provided by errant staff....and the restaurant manager learned from those dreadful criticisms...from my observations starting from the open kitchen to the front of the house it appeared to run quietly, smoothly, without any jarring sounds or frantic staff causing a scene..... .....I have made reservations for today.....My wife wants to try their prime rib and I want to try their herb roasted airline breast of chicken....onwards....

I've been here when it was named Waverly and the service has definitely changed. Food was good but service wasn't the greatest. Our server forgot to put the order in for my wine and she never did ask my husband for his drink order. So he had to tell her he wanted an ice tea...finally when he gets it she left right away before he could request sweetener. Ten minutes later she comes back where he could ask her to bring the sweetener. Service was slower than it needed to be. If we are feeling like another date night we may come back and check it out again.

I ate here last night. I was searching for some place that had a decent atmosphere and good food; I found it. Their Prime Rib was excellent; I had it prepared cajun style and it was probably the best prime rib I've ever had. The staff was friendly and professional. I recommend eating here.

We have eaten at this place twice and both times we have been very impressed with the food served on the menu! The first time we tried this restaurant was about three months ago and everything we had was superb. Prime rib is something served at every buffet in the area. And you cannot compare the prime rib served here to any of the buffets, because it is incredible! I had my prime rib medium rare and it was perfect! We also really enjoyed the corn chowder that is served here, because that is really fantastic. Fast forward to Christmas 2018. We decided to have a last minute dinner here and we were totally impressed once again. They had a superb set menu for the evening and once again everything was flawless. I had the New York strip medium rare and the shrimp cocktail, crabcakes, corn chowder, and also the shrimp and scallops fettuccine! We enjoyed all of it and could not get enough and was totally impressed with the amazing food once again. We would definitely highly recommend trying this place out. Prices are not bad and food quality is over the top!

Quality has really dropped each of the last few times I've eaten here in the last 3 years. It was exceptional when it first opened but has appeared to us that lower quality ingredients have been used in the meals themselves. The bread selection has changed each time and this time was cheap and reminded us of cafeteria food. Don't think we'll be coming back.
