Shaneese claims to be the manager, but based on how she handled my call, that’s honestly laughable. I called in a mild panic because I paid for gas and forgot to pump it—pump 11, I believe. I just wanted to know if anyone had taken the gas or if it would be refunded to my card. Instead, I was met with pure attitude and one of the most disrespectful, unprofessional tones I’ve ever heard from someone who supposedly runs a store. She acted completely irritated that I even dared to ask a question, like basic customer service was beneath her. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t yelling—I was just asking for help. Yet somehow, she managed to make me feel like garbage for even calling. I hung up and literally had tears in my eyes. If this is what passes for “management,” it’s a disgrace. Shameese has zero customer service skills, zero empathy, and clearly zero training. She’s a terrible reflection of that store and will drive it straight into the ground if she’s allowed to keep treating customers like that.

Google
Wawa is a place you go for mutiple needs. Whether its to put gas in your vehicle, grab snacks, get minimal groceries, or buy lunch and dinner. Wawa is great because you can do mutiple things at one place. The staff is friendly and the food has gotten me to be a returning customer. They also have a rewards program that is easy to navigate and use. Highly recommend this company as a customers choice for gas and bites to eat.

I visited this particular store location. Upon entering the store I requested a staff (Quan) to open the freezer so that I may pick up a few beverages. However, she pointed her finger very rudely and stated I'll be there in a minute. Noooo a minute never came she begin to wait on other customers. I then requested for another staff to assist me. I've never received so blately the rudeness, unprofessionalism, lacking a sense of urgency such as Quan displayed. Two staff members stated "Sir, she's always like that and it makes us feel uncomfortable". Management I would highly recommend your team relieve her of her duties OR place her in the areas for stocking shelves, she's NOT for customer service in your direct front area. Horribly sad and based on the staff's interaction with her, she appears to be a borderline bully and expect her co-workers to jump when she says jump. Keep in mind people are looking for law suits. I'm a retired Marine 2nd Lieutenant and she doesn't represent the WAWA corporation I'm custom to.

Google
Tired of all these pumps inconveniencing me by being out of paper. If there’s not a way to remotely track paper levels, then come up with better technology. Automatically giving a 1 star review to every gas station that runs out of paper. Last 4 times, I’ve had to go inside. I have a son, and it’s such a hassle walking inside. Smh

Jenn B.

Google
Nothing like getting accosted by organized panhandling half a dozen times just trying to walk in the door. Two at the back of the store collecting from the 2 at the front and sides, running across the street to Walmart and back. First and last ever time to stop.

Mildred M.

Google
Went 2 weeks in a row didn't have expresso could not get my mocha coffee. Went this past week and no whip cream. Why is it so hard to keep product in.

Brenda A.

Google
Was supposed to be a salted caramel macchiato and caramel iced coffee. Absolutely no coffee flavor and all milk. Went back in to complain, and was told I didn’t know what I ordered. Update: Wawa corporate refunded me $5.00 for my inconvenience.

Sounditout S.

Google
So much more than a gas station! The fast food EVERYTHING never disappoints, and the cafe is open until 10 - later than any other cafe. And yes, the coffee quality is cafe-worthy. The pizza is just as good as anywhere else - definitely better than a lot of chains - and the garlic-parmesan dusted crust is actually excellent. There are electric car chargers in the back - always lots of Teslas charging! Gas prices are competitive too. And of course, it's got all the typical gas station snacky stuff, but it's big inside so a his selection of drinks and goodies. Has self-order kiosks for the food side and a self-checkout for regular merchandise. Can't go wrong at WaWa honestly.

Yelp
Got diesel fuel and an smoothie today. I tried something different; I got the mango pineapple for a change and it was awesome! I love how I can start the fuel pumps on the app and purchase a smoothie at the same time. Once I'm done fueling I walk in and pick up the smoothie and then on my way.... Easy Peasy!!!!

Yelp
Compared to the Cassat and Normandy location. 5 stars all day everyday. Two pumps per section. They have ethanol free gas. Online order is ready at the time presented on the app, during lunch time.

Yelp
Wawa never disappoint me. I love their frozen products. It's so delicious and they got good customer service they work with you and they are very patient with you. I love the hard in that store but one thing I the chairs to be outside of the store. Are you used to sit out there with my husband? That's where my husband me right outside of on my birthday and I will never forget that day so thank you

Ian A.

Yelp
Refused service related to my order. All i wanted was a milkshake and i couldn't even get that. The store was open yet somehow the kitchen was closed.

Yelp
The "Build your own" black bean bowl is surprisingly delicious and oh so addictive. That being said in all honesty the Wilson location is hit or miss with accepting orders online only to be told upon arrival that "we stopped taking orders" I'm a night person so I usually come to Wawa around 2-3am and the experience is normally pretty pleasant however as I said previously it is hit or miss. Sometimes the staff is very friendly and cordial, and sometimes it's as if they are serving a prison sentence Overall though I keep coming back so clearly they are doing something right

Yelp
Yayyyyyyyyy i'm ecstatic to announce that as far as the foodie culture is concerned...the holidays have officially arrived! The coffee shops, the restaurants, and even the gas stations are chocked full of goodies infused with pumpkin spice, peppermint, gingerbread, eggnog, you name it. Wawa is no exception, and in a very big way! It's open 24/7, and any time of day or night you can get your food or drinks prepped to order, which is a huge plus for someone that works odd hours like me. Breakfast bowl and a latte? You got it. Club Sandwich and Chicken Noodle Soup? Anytime. This location is my go-to, since it's right down the street from my house, and very convenient. I'm big on Holiday sandwiches. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, no matter what time of day, I'm a fan. To me, the Thanksgiving leftover sandwich is one of the greatest inventions in all of foodiedom. That being said, The Hot Gobbler has fast become a guilty pleasure of mine at least 3 times a week since it started. Now there's three kinds..turkey, gravy, and stuffing, and turkey gravy with either mashed or sweet potato. My personal fave is the sweet potato. I get the 6-inch shortie sub, and add melty provolone cheese to it. It comes with a drizzle of Garlic Ailoli, which gives a bright pop of flavor to the already perfect sandwich. Yes, it's messy, but well worth it, just grab a handful of napkins and you're set. I've also tried the French Toast with Maple Donut, and while the flavor was all there, I wish it would have been a little softer. It kind of had a "Day Old" texture to it. I've yet to dive into their holiday drink menu, but trust me, it's on the "to do" list. With it's growing popularity, Wawa seems to be expanding quite rapidly with locations opening up throughout Jacksonville, so kudos to them! The peeps are friendly, especially in the mornings when the deli counter is busy with hungry patrons, and the store is consistently clean day and night. Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, thanks for reading, and as always...SYOY!

Yelp
Wawa at the intersection of Wilson and lane. It looks like a really new store/ gas station. There are lots of employees inside but only 1 or 2 working the register. If you're purchasing a drink from the fountain. You'll need to pay for it 1st before you can get your drinks. I was only here for a few minutes but I'll swing back through again.

Elena K.

Yelp
Manager of the Wawa in Jacksonville 5735 Philips Hwy Jacksonville, FL 32216 ( Bowden intersection) really bad. This is my third experience during the year and their third strike. the air pressure station one out of two is not working. Went to the Wawa station telling this fact to the guy behind the counter - this guy starts interrupting me NOBOYD TOLD HIM AND , I wrapped my sense simply saying " tell to your manager that the air is not working " and turned to head out of the building, he starts yelling high pitch -" I'm The MANAGER IN HERE AND Thank you very Much and HAVE A GREAT DAY ( hint - he lisps. Wawa with this type personal making themselves fools- sucks.
google avatar

Doug B.

Yelp
This gas station will not give you a cup for soda you have too pay for them first. Who does that. First time here and the last time. Why would you come to a place that does not trust you with soft drinks.

Joseph Q.

Yelp
Has anyone else noticed that you nearly almost need to go inside to get a fuel receipt? They make excuses but I believe it is marketing, you go inside to get receipt and you'll see something you will buy. Then when you go inside you stand on a line that may have as many as 10 people in front of you, wasting 8 minutes, yes 8 minutes to get a receipt. In addition, people, after you fuel up, move away from the pumps, please.

Yelp
As always, WAWA never disappoints Restrooms are clean and fresh. Food area clean, food is good, customer service excellent

Yelp
You can shop Wawas but still miss cool items as they have a lot to see. I love their egg omelettes with chicken and cheese..just the perfect protein and adding Wawa coffee also is a must.

Yelp
I went in this gas station to buy lotto tickets for my mom since she can't walk. I walked and waited a few seconds as I saw one cashier was trying to help one of her customers while the order one next to her was doing something with cash register. So I asked her if she's open. She replied "no". I waited for at least 5 mins waiting for the other girl to get done helping the customer. She was done and saw me holding the lotto tickets and she told me to use machine behind the door. What I'm mad about is, why didn't the other girl who was standing there ( the first cashier) didn't tell take a few seconds to tell me to use the machine? I waited for nothing. I ended up walking out with nothing because I didn't have exact change for the machine. They need to train them more with customer's service!

Yelp
Wawa's are the best. I didn't get the hype when they first started popping up all over Jacksonville, but now I get it. The idea of going out of your way to eat a meal at a gas station was unfathomable to me. But just go, and have them make you an Italian and then like me, you will understand. They have so many options ad such fresh ingredients. I love that I place my order on a kiosk so I can be as picky as I want and take my time and I don't feel like I am inconveniencing anyone. Sometimes we will swing by for a "snack" and I will usually choose to get one of their smoothies (half strawberry half peach) Yum! They have a great variety of packaged goodies and drinks too.

Yelp
This is the second time in a row that I have had a terrible experience with this wawa. This used to be a good place to eat but twice now they have given me terrible food. I ordered through uber eats last time and it took an hr to get to me and then it was just a pile of old cheese on a cold bagel. I was very disappointed. That was in the middle of November. Now I go pick up my food from them and I had ordered a cheese quasadilla with no meat because I am vegan and I am also allergic to chicken. I bring my food home and the quasadilla already looks like it wasnt cooked all the way and the cheese wasnt melted all the way. I opened it up and theres chicken all in it. Now I am upset because I am hungry. The woman behind the food service area had been complaining the whole time about wanting to close the food area down for the night. I understand your tired and your done but I am hungry and I paid for this. My guy eats chicken and so he took it to work with him and he said that it was gross too. So this is disappointing. I am not going to order food from this wawa again.

Yelp
Going to pay for our drinks the other day; the General Manager was joking with us and put a big smile on our faces; She deserves a raise a bonus or something because it made our day during a really stressful time!
google avatar

Claudia J.

Yelp
Wawa has a lot more to buy then Gas so instead of paying at the pump go inside and check out all the goodies and other items
google avatar

Yelp
I'm giving this gas station 5 stars, because it's always clean, welcoming, and it has almost everything in there that you need. It's located mostly in South Florida, so I tried to make a pit stop every time I'm in the area. The coffee area is amazing. But the reason for my five stars is going to their Sub Station. Their subs are bomb, so if you're ever near a Wawa go and check them out. They have different sizes such as Junior roll, 6 inch roll, and 10 inch roll. You can also get the bread and either white or wheat. The many different options to put on the subs will have you looking like a kid in a candy store. The store has a beautiful outside patio sitting area. I feel as though it is great for those who are traveling on the road, it is perfect for pit stop.
google avatar

Steven J.

Yelp
Surprisingly delicious subs DELIVERY late after other sub shops close. All at a low cost.

Cody B.

Yelp
5 stars all the way, I go to this exact location every Tuesday for "free coffee Tuesday" btw love the deal! All the workers makes your food/drink fast and it's actually decent. This one girl named Felipe she makes them the best! Idk how she does it but she makes my drink most of the time and it's a 10/10 she's really nice and is always making a conversation. She does her best to start your day with a coffee, SHE NEEDS A RAISE!!!

Michael P.

Yelp
Stopped in to charge our car. The sign outside said " Free 16 oz coffee or Ice Tea to first 100 visitors. While I really didn't care much if I did or didn't get the ice tea, my wife wanted me to try. One employee said he had to ask the manager, while waiting another said just go to the desk. I was waiting line when the manager told me there was no such sign. Its just for there app. She then became rude and very impolite over what could have been just a simple I'm sorry we are out. She then followed our of the store continuing her rant, picked up the sign and threw it out. Meanwhile many of the tesla spots were taken by customers just for parking. So Tesla owners may want to skip this place.
google avatar

N L.

Yelp
Nice clean gas station with food cooked to order. Seems like every worker is nice. Tried the brisket poboy and the steak and cheese poboy. Neither were good to me. Couldn't eat the brisket unless I put BBQ sauce on it. The vanilla milk shake was the bomb though. I'll try another sandwich but it probably will be one that has cold cuts on it. It's hard to mess up a lunch meat sandwich.
google avatar

Alexandra T.

Yelp
Happy Wawa! Nothing is better than a free cup of coffee and a friendly customer service oriented staff. Shout out to Eric for being so sweet and patient while checking out trying to get the app up and running. His contagious happy personality turned my day around!

Paulen S.

Yelp
I had fraudulent activity on my debit card and I had recently used it here to purchase gas. Today when I pulled in to buy $10 gas with cash I was behind a man at a pump. He was standing outside his car and had an electronic device plugged into something. He was standing outside of his car, not pumping gas or even looking like he planned to. It wasn't until I was driving off that I realized what he was probably doing. I can't prove that my information was stolen here but DON'T USE A CARD here. Highway robbery right in plain view. I will no longer use a debit card. Seriously, no one inside the store looks outside. I doubt if there's even a manager. I will return to getting gas at Costco. No one is going to plant a scammer there, with lines waiting. And there's an attendant outside. But not with Wawa!
google avatar

Kimberly J.

Yelp
Wanted to get gas and breakfast in one stop so we found this Wawa from a sign off the interstate. Clean facility, and quick and friendly service. I got a sausage breakfast burrito, which was great but I wish it had more pico de gallo and I wish they didn't charge extra for sour cream.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
The turkey club sandwich was great must say not expecting that from a gas station but did really surprise me. The plus is that they got free coffee right now since they first opened up
google avatar

Rodney M.

Yelp
So glad they moved into town. Great food, great service, great gas! No more raceway, gate, or daily's, only WAWA. I got my usual veggie on a shorter toasted with FREE AVOCADO. Redeemed for a 44 oz unsweetened iced tea! The best!! The Iced tea was bag in the box fountain, not freshly brewed. Avoid the sweet or unsweetened iced tea! I am very disappointed

Yelp
I love the Wawa's down in Tampa/ Orlando. I know that it has a cult following and I totally get why. Plenty of gas pumps, low prices... and I can go inside and get a meal made by an actual person and it's delicious and reasonably priced. With plenty of touchscreen stations, you can customize your order. Drinks, food... eat in, take home. Oh, and it's GOOD! Today, I came in for a coffee (Cuban roast!) which was free because of the recent opening. I gladly pay for my coffee here, because it's good and I have all the extras that I need for less than $2. My son grabbed himself a hot chocolate, but they were out of the mini marshmallows. On the way out, he spotted some breakfast sandwiches and we decided to grab those instead of ordering (it was busy) so we could go out to finish up shopping. I chose the french toast with sausage, egg and cheese. I gotta say, I was quite impressed. It was not flattened out or dried up, but freshly made and put together with care. Everything was centered... not too shabby. Look, Wawa is a decent spot to grab a meal with the bonus of gasoline for your car. There's plenty of chairs and tables inviting you to take the time to sit and hang out a little bit... the local Racetracks and Gates have been scrambling to compete with the Wawa's that are coming to Jax. You haven't seen people crowding them up and hanging out though, have you? Wawa is changing the way you feel about you local fill up station... the rest of the country is already fanatic... don't you want to see why?
google avatar

Jevon H.

Yelp
Great service at this location. The staff will treat you amazing and help you with any question you have while there. The touch screen to order food is easy to understand and easy to use. The food that they make in store is the best food at any gas station that I've tried it even rivals some of the fast food restaurants around here that are available. The. Presentation of the food is good I would recommend coming to this Wawa for a great time and good food for a reasonable price.
google avatar

Heather D.

Yelp
All the wawa's i go to are spectacular. Its so clean and everyone is so friendly. The self-service computer for ordering food or drinks are so easy. I had no idea the deli is open so late. I came in at 1:15am and got a meatball hoagie and a thanksgiving turkey gobbler. So delicious. I had to get one for the ride back to tallahassee.
google avatar

Angie B.

Yelp
It took over 20 minutes to get our coffee (one latte and one hot chocolate) and they ran out of mac and cheese after we already paid for it. Very annoyed.
google avatar

Roselina P.

Yelp
First this Wawa's is located in a rougher area but don't be alarmed they do have security, and that is the reason you have to pay for a cup before you actually get your drink, I honestly i go to this Wawa's EVERYDAY and not one time did i have to pay before purchasing my drink... also im from Tampa and they stop allowing people to get their drinks first do to people NOT PAYING ... i see peoples reviews and I'm thinking... in what world is there a perfect ANYTHING?! The review about the lotto ticket was so annoying you gave them a bad review because you didn't have common sense?? Listen this Wawa's is a little short handed hints why the cashier probably couldn't help you and also SHE CLEARLY WAS BUSY AND WAS NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO YOUR LOTTO TICKET... When a cashier is handling money that is top PRIORITY and also dangerous. This Wawa's is AWESOME like any other Wawa's!!! In a world of UNPERFECTION yes they need more employees but the people that work there work hard!!! This Wawa's has soooo much FLAVA i wouldn't choose any other one to go to and i live 15mins away :)

Katie R.

Yelp
This place sucks. Only coming here for food for now on. Other than that don't bother. Me and my fiancé walked into the beer cooler to look at beer. Wasn't even in there two minutes when a "manager" or whatever she was came storming in. Basically yelling and asking "y'all got your IDs?" I get it look young but that was rude and of course I have my ID. You don't do that. I was a team manager for Gate and nobody ever did that to any customer. Simply ask for an ID at the checkout. That easy.

Yelp
Love this place hand crafted lattes, milkshakes, and iced lattes as well as food subs, BLT, soups, salads, pretty much anything you want!
google avatar

Starr N.

Yelp
Everything at Wawa is Amazing! But can y'all put CHANGING TABLES in the women and men's restrooms? None of the Wawa in the Jacksonville area has CHANGING TABLES. It's disappointing.
google avatar

Rosalind V. B.

Yelp
This is the place for gas! But they have AWESOME subs, sandwiches, breakfast items, donuts, salads, quesadillas, drinks! I remember them from Jersey. Great then and AWESOME now!
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Love this Wawa!! Staff is helpful and friendly, even when I ask for no bread and lettuce instead. Food is always hot, and sometimes at night it's a little busy, but overall a good place for quick food.
google avatar

Tyler R.

Yelp
The sandwiches are what keeps me coming back each time. The store is clean and spacious, and there are several touchscreens where you can place your order whichever way you want it. The service there has improved every time I've come back, and it's not as chaotic as it was when it first opened a month ago.
google avatar

Rodonna R.

Yelp
I love Wawa!!! They have all the things we have in Jersey, even very friendly, but it's still new to the folks out here...but once they learn, bye bye 7-11

Donna B.

Yelp
I had a $3.00 Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised because what kind of sandwich can you normally get for $3,00. Next time I will get a regular size one for $5.00, which is extremely inexpensive for a Philly cheesesteak !

Denise S.

Yelp
Wales is OK they are clean. They always seem to have to cut down all the trees . There are pretzels are pretty awful their coffee is decent

Jerry W.

Yelp
Wawa where were you when I was in college? 7-Eleven on steroids. Who would of thought you could ever get a decent meal at a gas station convenient store? Sandwiches are beyond decent. It's not like I seek them out for a meal but the conviencece when on a road trip is great. Food is on par with any fast food sub shop. Honestly wish they were around back when I was in college as I would have eaten here all the time.

Yelp
My first time there was good (Christmas Day), even with it being super crowded. I went there yesterday, it wasn't that crowded like before and ordered 2 specialty coffee drinks both 16 oz size which took about 10 min but we were patient. They gave us the wrong size but apologized and made it again. So it took another 10 min and by then we just grabbed them and left. We didn't realize until we left and tried our drinks that they were completely wrong, even though the chick who made them told us which one was chai and the other cafe con leche. It's like she mixed both orders up, the cafe con leche didn't taste like it at all not to mention my so called chai was only half a cup full and had evaporated milk instead of almond milk so she must've just thrown the 12oz into a 16oz cup. I'll will give that location another shot and I will be sure to speak to someone next time it happens (which it shouldn't) since we were in a time crunch to go back inside. I don't understand why it's hard to make 2 totally different coffee drinks and there wasn't a crowd.
