"Neukolln's Weserstraße is home to some of Berlin's best cocktail bars, and this elevated-but-casual outpost, established in 2021, has already won 2024's award for Best Bar in Germany. You'll find handmade wooden furniture that welcomes relaxation, moody downlighting, and two-toned walls that give polish to the city's traditional plaster, plus touches of industrial cement. A cozy fireplace lends a little warming glow to gray, cold Neukolln evenings. Wax On is there if you know to look for it—and while plenty don't, those who do are a crowd who know their drinks. Regulars from around the kiez (immediate neighborhood) are drawn here by the exotic ingredients—clarified banana juice has been known to feature. The menu has traditionally rotated between four imaginative drinks (concocted in the basement below) and four classic cocktails—or you can, of course, call your own drinks with an obliging staff that's happy to prepare them or put together something based on your tastes. Very interesting and impressive cocktail bar. The way they make espresso martini is amazing. The waiter was really polite and cool. They know what are they doing with the cocktail map and the knowledge behind each barman in the cocktail world is noted. Only minus is the one toilet that is always occupied. The setting and the mood in the bar is very dark and dimmed

Come for the excellent cocktails, stay for the charismatic and welcoming experts that look after you during your stay! Also we had way too much to drink there -it’s just too tempting to try all their drinks. We also appreciated the simple but cozy interior, which was well-engineered to reduce noise in the bar, using wall and ceiling sound dampers. Us neurodivergent folks really appreciate considerate design for bars, which can be quite overstimulating. And the toilet is clean. Though, the menu requires a little work, both the vegan signs and the allergen declarations needed some updating.

While the cocktails are good, the highlight of the bar is the service. Really attentive and kind but not over the top, they even keep your drink cold if you leave the table. compliments to Simon! Their espresso martini with peanut flavor is really something. Come early on the weekends, they don’t take reservations and the place gets busy.

Highly recommended. Creative, well balanced cocktails deserving of a visit. But more than this, a fantastic experience. The service is exceptionally good - credit especially to Simon. Attentive, friendly and interested in your enjoyment. I could not recommend more highly. Also I appreciated that it is a good space - you can speak and be heard because of the acoustic panels. Nice bar area.

Great bat in Berlin. The cocktails are delicious. The servers have amazing personalities and speak perfect English. They also have great recommendations for things to do in Berlin. Great atmosphere and vibes in the bar. Nice chill music. Cocktails are not expensive at all for a world top cocktail bar. Highly recommend

Good quality drinks with fantastic value for money. The venue and bar has a clean, minimalist design, although they do have more spirits hidden under the counter if you want something custom. The cocktails were mostly pre-batched, but had a good spirit base and were well-balanced. Watching the bartender you could she is very skilled and knows what she’s doing. When we asked for something creative and off-menu she delivered a fun rum coffee twist.
