A wonderful wine bar recommended to us by our food tour guide. Awesome to taste and experience a wide variety of Turkish wines! Our server was able to provide us different wines based on our likes, dislikes, and overall preferences; he was friendly and very knowledgeable.

Wayana Wine Bar is fantastic! Exceptional service and a big thank you to the team for the smooth communication during our reservation and the warm welcome. The natural wines are intriguing, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxing with music that never disturbs. A must-visit place in Kadıköy!

I absolutely loved my experience at WAYANA Wine Bar! The highlight was being able to taste so many different wines by the glass thanks to their Coravin system. The owners and staff took such care in explaining every bottle with incredible knowledge and passion, and they encouraged me to try several before deciding which to take home. The selection is outstanding, the atmosphere warm and welcoming (the even give you a little welcome bubbles) - truly the best wine bar in Istanbul. I can’t wait to return!

We explored Kadıköy, one of Istanbul’s most vibrant neighborhoods — full of life, art, food, and amazing people. 🇹🇷🍷 🥂 1. Wayana Wine Bar & Tapas (Moda / Caferağa) A hidden gem in Kadıköy! A local Turkish wine bar offering only Turkish wines — no importation at all! We loved the walk through Moda and the cozy atmosphere of the place. I had the pleasure to talk with the owner and learn so much about Turkish wine culture. Fun Facts about Turkish Wine 🇹🇷🍇: 1️⃣ Turkey is one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world — over 7,000 years of history! 2️⃣ There are more than 1,200 indigenous grape varieties, but only about 60 are used commercially. 3️⃣ Some of the best Turkish wines come from Cappadocia and Thrace, with volcanic soil and unique microclimates. Wayana isn’t just a bar — it’s a community hub for digital nomads, creators, and locals who share stories and good vibes. 📍 Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic local experience. 🍖 2. KASSAB Restaurant Lunch at KASSAB was YUMMY! 🤩 Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully grilled — we enjoyed every bite and a local drink called Göbek. Simple, local, authentic Turkish food at its best. 🍸 3. Çil Bar Later in the evening, we stumbled upon Çil, a mixology bar that blew our minds. The owner, @Dodo, is not just a bartender — he’s a culinary strategist and experience creator. His passion for flavor and details is extraordinary. Start your evening with his Signature Gin & Tonic — honestly, the best I’ve ever tasted in my life! 🍋✨ We were all (Mandy, Sheri, and I) culturally amazed by his creativity and kindness. Asked for a wine tasting menu, the wines were good, served in 0.5 dl portions, and got a small bread tapas with each. The tasting menu costs 700 TRY as of July 2023. The place is not targeting the average consumer, I think, but the wine lovers. For those of you out there who want to try the turkish wines, this can be a great place to visit. Service was excellent and spotless. The friendliness was expressed even with a small Merhaba wine. Would go again for sure!

Outstanding ambience. Here, wines themselves are the decor. The way they’re lined up adds to the atmosphere. Tapas won’t make you regret your decision as well. I tried a number of them and if you choose the right wine for the tapas, you’re in fpr a treat. Little lovely place, especially for couples.

This place was a birthday surprise. Tried almost everything from the menu that I can't even remember the names of. A standard tapas plate was approximately 90 tl (I will put the menu for oct 24) Never seen this many wine options at the same time. Everything was delicious definitely will visit again, recommended ;)
