Fourteen East Cafe at the Park Shelton Is Moving to a New Location | Eater Detroit
"An eight-year-old minimalist, gallery-style coffee and tea shop known for being a favorite museum-district stop for a slice of quiche or a scone, it has operated out of the Park Shelton near the Detroit Institute of Arts and along Woodward Avenue. Owned by Joanne Czerny, the shop announced via Facebook that it will close its longtime 15 E Kirby St. location on August 24 and relocate to 2771 Woodward Avenue inside Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business in the Cass Corridor, with plans to reopen in early December. The owner thanked customers for their friendship and support and described the move as bittersweet." - Brenna Houck
I love this campus building. So fitting for a business school. And ideally located right in Woodward with plenty of Mobility options. However, i would really hope and recommend that MDOT and the city install a ped crossing at that temple intersection. Much needed considering the university student and LCA attendee populations.

Amazing, modern and unique building right on Woodward Ave., essentially next to LCA. Awesome professors and administrative staff. So proud to be the first MBA graduate class to use the building back in 2019!
