Waypoint Public House

I have been to Waypoint many times but this was my first time for brunch. My dad likes that it’s tucked away. My dad loved his brunch. I liked mine too. Am not sure I got their concept for potatoes. I couldn’t each all their smoked salmon which isn’t a bad issue.

We enjoyed our time at Waypoint! The food was tasty and our server was nice. The old fashions were inconsistent but were still enjoyable. The appetizers were okay - we had the pretzels and beer cheese as well as the fried cauliflower. The fried cauliflower is literally just that with a side of ranch and buffalo sauce. It was meh. The burger stood out though! Definitely recommend that. Oh and the seating was a mixture of private/separate tables and community/cafeteria style.

This was hands down some of the best food I have had in years! They're trashed wings were amazing with just the right touch of heat and a whole lot of flavor. The ranch dressing is clearly made from scratch and the brisket sandwich was massive and so flavorful. Service was spot on and the atmosphere was very nice. Like I said, the best dining experience I have had in years! Highly recommended!

These chicken wings are in the top 5 for Madison. Can hang with Athens Grill and are just a step below Chicken Licks. I went with them done house style, which is the garlic buffalo with a dry rub on top. Great flavor and texture. Just a really good wing. Will have them again for sure.

Great food, great prices, great staff, good place. Their happy hour is 2 dollars off apps and drinks. The place got packed at 5pm on a Friday. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but it's a beautiful area. I'd recommend coming here again!

I’ve had some delicious meals here over the years but this past weekend I had the lemon mahi and it was magical. The grilled asparagus, lemons and tomatoes were such an amazing addition to the mahi mahi. My friend had the smashburger special with sweet potato fries which was also super yummy! I’d definitely order this again and will be back with more friends!

Went here for my mom's birthday, the food was so fresh and so good. Highly recommend the brisket and the poke bowl. Cocktails were really good as well. But what I really want to highlight is how good the service was, we were a very large party and Josh our server was really on top of things! Even after we had switched seats he knew who everybody was and what they had ordered. 10/10. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious smash burgers and fish tacos. Friendly service. Plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor) on the river.
