The Best Dallas Coffee Shops and Cafes With Free Wi-Fi to Work In | Eater Dallas

"The Design District outpost of this two-location shop is particularly good for working. It’s big, airy, and white, with ambient music and the clattering of dishware. It serves Cat & Cloud beans for all its coffee drinks, plus tea and chai. There are some light bakery-style bites to nosh on but it’s far more focused on the coffee. There are private rooms in the back that can be reserved as needed." - Courtney E. Smith

Tons and tons of seating at this location! Even a meeting room! Loved the tall ceilings and airy space - it’s a remote work dream. The coffee was incredible. I got the Howdy Partner on their fall specialty menu and could tell it was thoughtfully curated. The milk was so velvety and the flavors blended perfectly. I love that their pumpkin spice syrup is dairy free too - that’s not super common. Will definitely be back!

This cafe also sells wine. They offer an unfussy straightforward list of drinks. The vibe is modern and earthy. This is an ideal place to study or work. It was designed for that with the amount of outlets they have. You will never have a low battery. The pastries are tasty.

Today was my first time visiting Wayward coffee and I really loved the space and the coffee. I ordered a cortado and a pastry. The cortado was delicious and so was the pastry. There were tons of people here working on computers and hanging out. It seems like a great place to study or get some work done if needed. They also have a room you can rent here for meetings that looked really nice. The team was really friendly and efficient.

A pretty cool spot with good coffee and plenty of seating. I got a gold rush latte and chocolate chunk walnut cookie. Both were great. The cookie was rich. The coffee was very well balanced. Not too sweet and not too bland. I can't recall what the flavor of the gold rush syrup (vanilla, honey, and cinnamon?), but it was really good. I would definitely come back if I was in the area

Amazing coffee! Lovely large space with lots of seating options. Pastries were meh but the coffee is seriously good.

Absolutely loved this place! I got an iced latte and it was delicious. I worked at a third wave coffee shop for years, so I can always appreciate a shop of that caliber. They had a wonderful selection of beans, fun wines, and pastries. I also really love their branding and the modern cowboy aesthetic.

One of my top coffee places in Dallas. Dating a coffee lover so he took me here on our first dates. Felt in love with their decor and drinks. They have breakfast tacos from Taco Deli and I also tried their cheddar and bacon pastry. DELICIOUS. Great for work because they have outlets everywhere and the space and atmosphere is pretty chilled.

I'll be honest, it was not my kind of place. But I'd never fault a coffee house for that because that's just my preference. It impressed me as hipster. It's not a cozy kind of place but a place where you would sit on your computer and take a call and order a really specialty kind of drink. The one thing that I will fault them for was the fact as I was standing in line, I could not find the definitions to their specialty drinks that seemed unique for their café (gold rush??) Serious props to their Costa Rican drip, it was excellent. I would have liked it to be served in the wayward cup instead of the plain white cup. Could have done a little advertising for them as I was taking it in to a large competition venue.
