Every Houston Restaurant Marcus Samuelsson Visits on ‘No Passport Required’ | Eater Houston
"Samuelsson visits Wazobia Market to learn about a variety of soups, tribal foods, and dishes like jollof rice. He checks out preserved fish, goat heads, and different kinds of bottled sauces." - Sonia Chopra
I came to know this market after watching a food blog from YouTube in terms of African food in Houston.
It also happens that It's been a long time since I was searching for a market that would sell beef skin and fresh goat meat with skin on. I've been looking on almost every big international market in Houston, and I'm glad to finally find it here!
Inside the store, everything is neat and well organized. It doesn't seem hard to find what I'm looking for.
The staff were nice and helpful.
I also love the fresh and hot meat bread that they have. It's delicious.
I'm looking forward to coming back in the future.

Tbh, I like this one BETTER than the one on Westheimer. Always friendly NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. They are always kind to my daughter. I had such a great experience shopping at this store… Their patience and friendliness really stood out, and it made my shopping trip so much easier. Excellent customer service! Keep it up.

My husband and I come to this store often and we like it. They offer a wide of Nigerian imported foods and goods. We buy many of the things we use to cook Nigerian recipes. Their ready to eat selection is also very well made. The music is also nice so you’ll probably be dancing and shopping lol

This place is by far One of the best in Houston to eat Nigerian food, if not the best. One of the staff called Lanre helped in attending to me when the store was about to close and I was surprised by the level of professionalism.

These people do not wash the beans that they cook and put for sale. There are literally bugs in the cooked beans that they serve customers to eat. It is not just a one time thing this is ongoing and it’s disappointing. Stop eating the cooked beans from this place
