I came to know this market after watching a food blog from YouTube in terms of African food in Houston. It also happens that It's been a long time since I was searching for a market that would sell beef skin and fresh goat meat with skin on. I've been looking on almost every big international market in Houston, and I'm glad to finally find it here! Inside the store, everything is neat and well organized. It doesn't seem hard to find what I'm looking for. The staff were nice and helpful. I also love the fresh and hot meat bread that they have. It's delicious. I'm looking forward to coming back in the future.

My husband and I come to this store often and we like it. They offer a wide of Nigerian imported foods and goods. We buy many of the things we use to cook Nigerian recipes. Their ready to eat selection is also very well made. The music is also nice so you’ll probably be dancing and shopping lol

The customer service was superb! The server was not bias and took his time to take care of me with a smile. I had to ask the young man his name, he said Lanre. He seems like a NEW face to me in this organization and the food was great for my lunch! If I could tip this young man, I would have!!! Keep it up Wazobia!

This store is a fantastic destination for all your African groceries and more. It’s not your typical market with an unpleasant smell—in fact, it’s consistently clean, fresh, and well-organized, making shopping a breeze. I've visited multiple times, and they always impress me. They also offer a rewards program where you can accumulate points to redeem items, which is a great bonus. Don’t miss the hot food aisle for ready-to-eat pastries and takeout meals. I highly recommend the fish pie—absolutely delicious! Kudos to the management for maintaining such high standards. I did dock a star because the puff puff tends to harden within 10 minutes of leaving the store, which is a bit disappointing. Hopefully, they can work on the recipe!

Every time I come here the employees are always wasting someone’s time! You will see multiple employees laughing and joking, while a line is forming for no reason. The owner should do his due diligence and peep in every now and then to see the jokers that he has hired! In other establishments you will even see an employee greet the waiting customers or say something like “sorry we will be right with you.” But these jokers in here just walk around while the line is forming. Terrible customer service. Hire people who actually want to work!

3 things that didn't sit well with me at Wazoba African Market. 1. Most of their cashiers are rude. This happened 3 different times. 2. There is always a long queue and wait time before you could buy your meat/proteins 3. The day I decided to buy what looked liked suya in the cooked food section, it was already bad and slimy..... Every other service I have received is okay. This market is a regular market for my Family and I. And I would love to continue to shop here.
