Best Places to Watch the World Cup Final in London | Eater London

"Peppered snail. Nkwobi cowfoot. Jollof rice and plantain. Lush Bar does the lot. As well as offering some of West Africa’s finest via Deliveroo, the tiny bar / cafe / restaurant in southeast London will be showing the games. And there’s a pool table." - James Bird

Went out on a Friday night with my friend as we've not been out dancing for a long time. It was quite busy and the music was great. This is where my complaint starts, my friend and I sat at the bar as that was the best place to be closer to the music but felt like a set up soon after... I was talking to my friend when a random guy started grabbing my head (thinking we met long time and forgetting if I did) he started licking his lips (trying to flirt) got the security to get him off my back. After 10 minutes another guy came from no where touching me like he knew me from somewhere, when I asked him why is he touching me like he knows me... he responded saying he likes me, he asked he can buy me a drink; as I refused and rejected he started getting aggressive. Got the security again and this time the guy was extremely stubborn. Instead of the owner of the restaurant to tell the security to take him out instead he tapped me signalling that I shouldn't mind him because his drunk. African given excuse for stupid behaviour. My friend went the toilet so this same nuisance came to try dance with me. Warned him twice to leave my site but he didn't listen so pushed him (no body reacted and attempted to stop from meeting me, instead reacted to how I pushed him). The security came back and calmed the situation. As my friend and I were ready to leave, the owner came and apologised saying that he is catching up with friends that travelled from America (like this any of my business) Shout out to the Security man but men that think it's okay to harass should be escorted out and not served anymore alcohol. As for the Owner of Wazobia, DO BETTER, its not because you offer free shots of tequila in the beginning that we girls should endure anything regardless of what we wear.

I had a birthday meal here with my husbandandchildren. We were welcomed like family into this very stylish restaurant. We were served promptly and the food was amazing; jollof rice, oha soup and croaker with plantain. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. We have come several times already, and Wazobia is becoming a favourite for a special occasion.

Plenty of parking in the evening. Atmosphere is great but the service needs improvement. It's takes up to 1 hour to get an ordered food through on top of that, there might still be some misunderstanding with what was ordered. Ordering drink is swift and no issues. On food-patience and endurance is highly needed.

This restaurant takes the spot as the worst restaurant I’ve been to in the UK. My friends and I visited and ordered for food, we kept waiting for 2 hours (unwise of us I know) and our food never came, we then kept asking the manager why, he responded saying they were catering for a bulk party order and that’s why all orders placed inside the restaurant were on hold. Eventually after almost another 1 hour, the food later came, it was bland and again not exactly what we ordered, my friend’s food never came and when it eventually did he could only have 3 bites as he couldn’t stand the taste. The DJ also repeatedly kept blasting one Tuface face song from his Plantainshun Boiz time. If you know you want your money’s worth and want to experience a good dining experience, pls avoid this restaurant.

It was my husbands birthday and we happened to be in london. Food was great but the prices where over the top! The menu says one price , the waiters charged another price . So be watchful of that! I pointed this out to the waiter and they say oh no! We don’t go our prices on the food menu!
