I had the immense pleasure to work with “We the People” this week. “We” is the team, Ken and Walter, who are the most down to earth, confidence-inspiring folk I’ve interacted with in a long time. Their services were provided thoughtfully and, yet, efficiently. Personalized support? Yes. Affordable pricing? You betcha.. Our stress-free phone, email and two face-to-face encounters over a 10-day period encouraged me to prepare an important document that I’d postponed longer than the life cycle of my spider plant. My gratitude to WTP for streamlining the process (yes, as advertised) with a large fund of knowledge, a positive attitude and … care. Thank you, Ken and Walter, for removing the real and imagined obstacles that kept me from “taking care of business.” I highly recommend you and the exemplary services.of “We the People.” I’ll be back!!!!

I had an amazing experience at We The People. Divorce can be messy and emotional, but I was treated with kindness and respect here. I wasn't sure how long the process would take or what it entailed, but they walked me through everything as it was happening and delivered my divorce papers quickly. I thought it was going to be a hassle, but honestly, it was not. Also, the price was very reasonable compared to other places I went. Glad it's all over and really glad I came here.

Everyone should know about We The People! Ken and Walter are a Godsend. They walked me through the process of my divorce of almost 30 years. I am giving my honest review from my personal experience with We The People. I felt that I was being viewed as a burden when calling to get any updates. I would get sarcastic remarks stating we didn’t call because there are no updates, but with a chuckle so it would not appear as sarcasm. I thank goodness I did continue to reach out and due to my persistence would get information that they didn’t notify me off. Thankfully all is done and completed, just not happy with the lack of professionalism that I thought I should expect since it started off well. (The following is my response to the company’s response) Good afternoon, Thank you for your response, unfortunately I would feel very uncomfortable allowing your office to work on a document of that nature after this last encounter. I was mishandled as a paid customer. I did all that was required of me. I followed all the instructions given to me with regards to what the process would be. However, I decided to make the necessary calls to keep me updated. During those calls, after every hang up I was made to feel like a burden. I continued to reach out via phone until I had to find out on my own that the paperwork was ready since almost 2 months ago. That being said is extremely unprofessional, especially since I had made it very clear how important it was. Grievously I have to decline your offer. I expected more from your team and company.

We The People is highly recommended for a variety of legal services including Will preparation. It is staffed by paralegals that know their business. My Will was created from a questionaire and after proofing it an appointment was set for the necessary signings. We The People provided witnesses and a notary to wrap things up nice and legal. The price was as advertised with no hidden charges. This paralegal enterprise is a gem for those of us with limited funds. I'm now at ease knowing my assets will go to the beneficiary of my choice. I really didn't know where to go for an inexpensive divorce until a friend referred me to We the People. Thank goodness! The whole process was not only inexpensive, it was quick and trouble free. They put me at ease and did all of the overwhelming paperwork. Thank you!!!

I am giving a major shout out to We The People on West 14th Street in Chelsea. Walter the owner is very knowledgable in many areas of legal documents where you can save some money by using his services over going to a lawyer. They are not lawyers but they do know their stuff. I was having major surgery and realized I needed to update my Will. I called Walter in the morning and told him I really didn't have alot of time because I was going to have my surgery in a few days and if there was a way he can help me out by expediating my request for changes. Walter was a miracle worker, as he could tell I was in panic mode to make sure i would have it back before my surgery date. Not only did I not have to wait a day Walter had it back the same day! Yes you can't make this up!!. I highly recommend them .

Mr. Boxer is very professional. He is not a lawyer, but he has helped many of us in the Village and Chelsea area. He does wills, bankruptcies and divorces with speed and accuracy. "If he doesn't know the answer, he will send you to someone who does." Here is your one stop shopping for legal services.

Stay way from these incompetent fools. They completely messed up probate papers for my father's will and delayed the process through their stupidly for 6 months. The do not know how to fill in forms, spell, advise or anything else. A huge waste of time and money.

I would advise against using WTP. Having an incredibly negative experience after interactions that were described as "not how they normally operate." Throughout the process there was patience and cooperation on both sides allowing work through unusual circumstances. However, as soon as they received their last payment things went awry. Asking ahead of time for whether my change of address would be an issue as to where my documents would be sent, they provided misinformation now resulting in what will be an error. However, they tell me it's not an issue because the documents aren't signed yet and I'm "getting ahead of myself." Not only was I misinformed ahead of time, but then after addressing the concern, I had emails ignored for nearly a month, until finally calling and receiving rude and terrible customer service, denying emails and still no answer as to the misinformation and lack of resolution to an issue for paid services. I cut my losses, called it a miscommunication and got off the phone as quickly as possible. I've worked in customer service for a long time and I'm an extremely patient person when it comes to customer service representatives, so I seldom write bad reviews. This could not be overlooked. Stay away from this place and if you feel like you have no other choice, save all of your emails. Not like it will make much of a difference anyway.

I paid for a lawyer who took over 3 years and still couldn't get my divorce final. I went to We the People because my sister swore by it. She filed for divorce after me - had it finalized and then got remarried and I was still waiting. We the People were very thorough. They explained the process - they are not lawyers but have a legal representative available to answer questions. They handle the processing for you. I can't complain. I am finally divorce and it was filed on my birthday! It only took about 8 months. I wish I would have went to them sooner.

I came here after trying to do my divorce myself. However, even a simple mutual divorce is very complicated by the legalize, paperwork and court fees. I am not a dense person, I have multiple degrees but i was floundering trying to do this myself and trying to not waste money. Well, I would not recommend this office. They said they could use the paperwork I had started. I paid for the full price even though some of the paperwork had been completed. They had all my paperwork and did not catch a typo that further delayed my divorce and cost more money to fix. Plus, they claimed no responsibility because it was paper work I had completed earlier, although I had given it to them for their expertise and said I did not know if it was correct. They obviously didn't bother to check it. In additional they created an additional typo on the paperwork they did create on their own. I am not pleased with their service. We the people made an all ready stressful situation worse.

We the people was the best place I could have gone to have my will done. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. They were willing to answer my many questions and were able to process my paperwork very quickly. The price was much lower than any lawyer quoted me. I will definitely be back should I need any other legal documents.

I did my divorce with We The People and I must say they are friendly, nice, kind and very efficient!!!!! They got my divorce done very quickly!! I thought getting divorced would be a hassle but We The People made it quick and simple. They did all the leg work, all I had to do was review and sign my documents at their office all for a very low cost compared to many Law offices. If you need a divorce, go to We The People!!!!! (they also prepare other legal documents).

We the People of 14th St. prepard all the documents I needed to file for my LLC. They made it fast and easy. I liked I could talk to a real person to answer my questions. They were very helpful and frendly.
