I was visiting my sister for the Labor Day weekend and came in to check this place out, excited about the whole co-op model. Mom and I just wanted coffee and they were out. The lady behind the bar seemed busy and could only tell us in a "it is what it is attitude" and that it would be a "minute." On the surface this is not a bad response, but it could have been delivered with a better vibe or optimism, especially as more people kept coming up to the single option, disappointed by an empty tap. I took the initiative to turn the empty coffee container around, to save others the disappointment. I then proceeded to grab some tea, since something told me it'd be more than a "minute" before the coffee would be ready...
All this to say...this place is probably wonderful and deserves accolades on other fronts like food and organic products, but for coffee/tea bar customer service...I would just say, manage your expectations.
